It is just as beautiful, with different voice actors but the same heartfelt acting. Both CDs feel like an extreme amount of care have been put into them, just like the manga. Here's to everyone who's a fan of Murase Ayumu and has been patiently waiting for a slightly more mature blcd role for him. Ever since first hearing his voice as Gene in Rumspringa, I had been praying for Gene and Trevor's story to receive their own BLCD. I loved the series so much that I had little to no hesitation buying both volumes, and boy, did it not disappoint. Of course, Murase could so much as blow in the mic and I'd be happy, but Morikawa Toshiyuki complemented his voice very well and surprised me an awful lot of times with both his vocal range as the gentleness in his voice (he has the perfect ASMR voice I swear!!!!). Anyways, this is by far one of my favorite blcds and if anyone wants to gush more about it, feel free to slide in my dms and scream with me! But dang, it’s been nearly four years since the last manga update I read. And is Trevor old now when he visits his old house and what happened to Gene? Anyway, I do hope they release the new chapter. Literally breathtaking. Even if it’s fiction, it hooks you so deep, it’s like the characters and story are real. When I got my money, I will sure support the OG artist.
