"YaoiOtaku's Top Uploader of the Month" is a contest,a bit different from the rest we have had up until now, specially made for YaoiOtaku's uploaders.

It differs with the way this contest will be "played".

Whoever from the uploaders wish to join,then they surely can do it.

The main idea:

Like all that upload manga, anime, BL games, BL movies/dramas go requesting 'credit points',you shall request 'contest points' on here. Remember, the 'credit points' are different from the ones you will receive on here. That's why we called them 'contest points'. The ones who will calculate your points with every post,be it first or the last one you've made,will be either Key or Saga.

 

When the contest is over,the uploader with the highest score* (*biggest number of 'contest points') will be the winner. They will be 'YaoiOtaku's Top Uploader of the Month'. As for the prizes,they are listed below.

1 mirror link to already existing 'Novel' -> 4 points

1 newly uploaded 'Drama CD/ CD OST' -> 6 points

1 mirror link to already existing 'Drama CD/ CD OST' -> 4 points

1 newly uploaded 'Manga' -> 10 points

1 mirror link to already existing 'Manga' -> 8 points

1 newly uploaded 'BL Movie/Drama' -> 20 points

1 mirror link to already existing 'BL Movie/Drama' -> 18 points

1 newly uploaded 'Anime/ OVA' -> 15 points

1 mirror link to already existing 'Anime/ OVA' -> 13 points

1 newly uploaded 'BL Game' -> 20 points

1 mirror link to already existing 'BL Game' -> 18 points

 

 

# Old uploads won't be accepted (Only uploads made from now on, 6th June 2013, should be listed);

# The provided link should be uploaded by you,yourself and no one else;

# Do not upload US licensed manga;

# Do not post twice the same anime, manga, BL drama and so on;

1. Can I join the contest although I go requesting points on Request Points for Uploads?

-> Yes,you can. As we said,that's why we call the points on here 'contest points'. They have nothing to do with you requesting 'credit points' on the 'Request Points for Uploads' thread.

 

2. In the contest points is said that Anime/OVA and Drama CD/ CD OST gets classified under one,why is that?

-> Because we said 1 link. Each link gets certain points,if you post two links,they are calculated - of course. That's why,either if it is one episode of some anime, or one whole OVA,it's still one link. Same for the CD links.

 

3. What do you mean by 'rank' Top Uploader?

-> Same meaning of 'rank'. You will get a rank,the small rank-button which you see on moderators,contributors,top contributors and so on. Yours will be 'Top Uploader'. (:

 

4. When the game is considered as started?

-> As soon as there are more than one uploader joining the contest.

 

5. How can I become an uploader,so I can join the contest?

-> You don't need anything special to be one. You just need to upload either manga,anime,drama and so on; post it and voila. You are an uploader.

 

6. When the contest will be over?

-> As we said,we need minimum two uploaders for the ''game'' to start,but per say in one month.

@Saga I would like to help out in 'already existing manga' download links just for the sake of helping and getting to be in the contest here. (2 birds 1 stone)

 

But i would like to ask 2 things:

1- In the work of Sakuraga mei Here there are a few download links that are not available due to being licensed or the simply "not available for download" but I have the manga, can I add in a download link? or is it simple not allowed to be download?

 

2- Same goes for Miyamoto Kano's work http://www.yaoiotaku.com/forums/threads/10411-miyamoto-kanos-works Some links dont work at all, is re-uploading a link alright?

 

I'm asking for the sake of the future as well, what CAN i contribute to add a link for? everything except the "do not upload" right?

 

If this is against the rule to ask in here.. then I wouldn't mind we can discuss it in inbox ^^"

For the sake of not spamming this contest thread:

 

So basically can I or can't I > download the manga from Mangatraders/Taken the files from Mangafox then reupload them to Mediafire or any sharing site and reupload them in here?

 

Also for this contest or any similar ones, or even the request for points, can I help out by fixing the dead links by adding links in the same way mentioned above and get points/joining the contest? or is that not considered as uploading?

1. We don't share licensed manga. If it is licensed or removed due to scanlator group's request - we don't share. Like any other community normally should do. (:

2. If it is anything else, you can add mirror links or re-up. The staff usually re-ups when sees dead link, but the board has so many things and long lists,so sometimes it takes a while. (:

 

Also, the uploads must be yours. Not copied from other community and shared, that's why we give points and have TOP Uploader, since links are a result of one's uploading work. (:

You can download, doesn't matter if MT,MF link or 4S link, or whatever hosting files for download site. But from online manga readers,no. The thing is they put watermarks and we don't advertise other communities as said in YO's rules.

 

I can't get what you mean with help by. You can upload any mirror link,or reupload, or create new threads, if it is for points and the will to share. Then you go to request points for upload and do request points. The rules are mentioned in the first page of the thread (
