evemaid
Welcome to Cross Academy, a private school which is split up into two different classes, a day class and a night class, but what most people don't know is that there is a reason for that... a secret about the night class which almost no one knows besides a select few individuals, such as the dean of the school and the disciplinary committee... the night students are actually vampires, the reason why that is, is to get vampires and humans to coexist peacefully together, the disciplinary committee protects the day students and make sure that everyone obeys the rules. *There's a plot forming from the shadows... members of the vampire council have been disappearing, no mentions of leaving, no evidence of a kidnapping They've been presumed dead, no one knows why nor who has been doing this, nor their motives... No one knows where the members have gone nor if they're even alive... though there are rumors of a rebellion, someone trying to gain control over the vampiric world and take over the human world...* There are enemies inside the academy, people who are vampire hunters, people who are rebels, people who have no stand in the matter. But the question is: Who can you put your trust in?* For more info, check out: Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. evemaid
History of Hio-clan: The**Hio clan**was a family of*Purebloods who date their origin back to the ancient vampires, much like the*Kuran Family, and as such command great respect in Vampire society.*Shizuka Hio, the only member of the family was considered a "rare beast" and was locked and raised in a cage, for the sake of both humans and vampires, after being deemed uncontrollably violent by the Vampire Council, during which time she was given human sacrifices to feed her thirst for blood. If the entirety of the Hio family itself was extremely violent and went berserk and Shizuka was just one example of such tendencies is unclear, though proved unlikely by Shizuka referring to herself as a "rare beast". Since Shizuka died, and did not have any known children, this could possibly make the Hio family extinct. Be cautious: -known- children.* Name: Hio (meaning scarlet cherry blossom) Kazushi (the name of his mother's, backwards) Age: Like all purebloods, he stopped aging around his twenties, but in years, he's around his sixties. (Yes, he's a pretty young vampire) Position: Seke Race: Pureblood vampire Faction: Neutral (even though he's not on anyone's side, he still has got his own plans running wild. if they're good or bad... who knows ?) Powers: Like his father, Rido Kuran controlled blood (blood whip), Kazushi has a full control over his hair, being able to use it as a weapon or shield as he pleases. Also, as a vampire he possesses the ability to erase minds and put people to sleep when ordered (though this is a common ability for all vampires). All the normal pureblood-abilities/powers. Weapon: His own hair. He can also handle anti-vampire weapons if needed (Kuran-family's speciality), even though it does weaken him after hours. Bio: He's the child of Rido Kuran and Shizuka Hio, making him the brother of Senri Shiki (though these two have never met) and the only living member of the famous Hio-clan. No-one is aware of his existence, not even the vampire council. His mother held him behind shut doors, in secret from everyone. Only Rido Kuran was aware of her being pregnant, but he never got to meet his son. Shizuka was treated badly by her fiance, Rido Kuran, and got pregnant by rape. She went berserk during some point, and got caged, getting human sacrifices, eating them alive. She fell in love with one of the sacrifices and turned him into a vampire. His lover was soon put on the 'E-level' -list and killed by Kiryu- Vampire Hunters, even though he hadn't fallen to E-state. Shizuka hunted the Kiryu's down, and killed the adults, sparing the children though. But it was already too late to hear that Rido Kuran, her fiance had but her lover on that list. ( Just in case you didn't know, Rido Kuran is the evil-criminal uncle of Kaname and Yuki Kuran, the protagonists of Vampire Knight -series.) The 'real' Kazushi: Knowing the past or her mother, he never trusts anyone, though he often pretends to be friends with people. He's got a very selfish heart, not caring about anyone else but himself, (he's a good actor, and can even pretend to love) and he thinks that humans and vampires other than himself are crap. He enjoys killing people, sometimes not only drinking their blood but also eating their raw flesh. He's not cruel, just cold hearted. He doesn't do things that don't profit him in some way. For ex. Pretending to be kind helps him to get more friends, and the more friends he has and the more normal he acts, the less people start to suspect him. This dark side of his is never seen by people inside the academy, because he's always wearing his 'mask' of the good buddy. He hates making mistakes, and is a perfectionist, not being able to enjoy the company of people who have flaws... Or will he? And the Kazushi that people see inside the academy: A kind and friendly vampire, who has got no extraordinary powers or abilities. (this will be explained later) He's got lots of friends, who all seem to respect him a lot for a reason that they don't know themselves. Kazushi is many times more attractive than normal vampires, (a pureblood, and above all, the son of Hio Shizuka and Kuran Rido) which is why he has got lots of admirers. He treats them nicely, but always (kindly) rejects everyone. He shows great affection towards his friends, always worrying about them. Other: Kazushi's reason for coming to the academy is unknown, as well as the fact that he's a pureblood. He caused a spell on himself, a spell that makes him seem like a normal vampire to others. He couldn't fully erase his aura though, which is why people around him unknowingly respect him and are even afraid of him a bit. It's nothing too odd to be noticed by anyone though. At least he hopes that no-one is powerful enough to sense anything. He keeps from feeding himself flesh or humanblood inside the academy, though he has hypnotized other vampires (only the most attractive ones. He only accepts beautiful creatures as his preys, meaning that only rarely will humans do) a few times to feed from their flesh. He only took small bites from unvisible spots so that they couldn't be seen. He enjoys feeding himself with flesh over blood because it gives him more strenght (just like the vampire hunters ate the flesh of the ancestors in history), and it even tastes good to him. It might sound sick to others, but it has always been known inside the Hio-family, that eating someone's flesh is much more effective than drinking their blood. Kazushi has introduced himself without a surname inside the academy, explaining that he doesn't have one because he's an orphan. Half of that os true: he has got two surnames to choose from (he never uses his father's though), but he really is an orphan, both his parents having died. He has always hated his father even though he has not met him, and swore that he'd kill everyone who is connected to him in a way or another.* What is his purpose in sneaking to the academy? Will he ever be able to fully trust someone, or will he always stay cold-hearted and only live for revenge? And how is he related to the odd chaos that is starting to occur, or is he just using it for his owm benefits? And his hunger for flesh... And addiction to beautiful people... Will his plans (whatever they are) succeed? Can you get close enough to reveal his secret?
evemaid
It was mid-spring, the flowers had already started to blossom and a warm wind was ringing in the trees. It was already warm enough to go out in a t-shirt and shorts during days. Not like any of the night students would have went out during days though. They stayed safely in their own dormitory-rooms, sleeping until the evening came and waiting for the time for those night-creatures to begin their everyday (or should we say everynight) activities. It had now been exactly two weeks since Kazushi had came to study in the Cross Academy. As the last strings of sun let go of the Academy's grounds, and the shadow disappeared from the tree outside Kazushi's window, he was finally allowed to open his eyes and 'wake up'. He hadn't been sleeping for hours, only laying quietly on his bed, pretending to sleep just in case that the shadow outside of his room was really keeping an eye on him. He could never be careful enough. He knew that there was surely at least one person in the school who was quietly observing him from the shadows. That person was Cross Kaien, the chairman of the school. It was nothing odd to be watched for the first weeks he spent there in the academy. This way the chairman made sure that Kazushi (and all the other new students as well) was keeping his part of the contract, and caused no problems inside the school. Like for ex. drinking from the day students. There were too few eyes spying on him though. Kazushi knew that all his nightly bites and explorings had been left unnoticed by all the people inside the Academy. He was an expert in moving invisibly. After doing the normal evening-routine, Kazushi stepped out of his room, timing his exit to be mutual with many other vampires as well. He made his all to not stand out too much. He had made lots of friends during his short time being here, and he had gotten popular too. He was very careful not to catch too much attention or popularity (it was hard since he was very good looking, even for a vampire), and keep a low profile. He wanted to look just normal. "Good evening." He greeted the familiar vampires with a smile on his face, even throwing the old 'good morning -joke' with a friend of his when passing by. No-one noticed that his smile was actually forced, and that the friendly tone in his voice was all just acting. He had planned the whole thing well, and he managed to fool every vampire (and human) in the house. He was a professional actor. No-one questioned his behaviour, and why would they have? He was being polite towards everyone, not bragging with his good looks, and on good terms with pretty much everyone. The people who he had never talked to didn't dislike him either. He was the 'good guy' of the dormitory which was full of arrogant, selfish people, such as the real Kazushi. No... They were just little kids compared to Kazushi. He was a monster in their eyes. Or would have been, if they had known the truth about him. But I'm still repeating myself and reminding you: He's a great actor. The night dormitory was still very quiet during this time, when the sun had yet to be fully go down. It was actually barely even the evening yet, but gladly there were always the same 'early birds' who woke up at this time. Kazushi was just included into those 'early birds', being one of the 'light loving' vampires. Mostly D- and some C-rank vampires were up due to their good resistance of sun. (D-rank felt almost no difference between moon- and sun light). Those filthy ex-humans didn't deserve to live. They weren't even true vampires to start with. Kazushi sneaked quietly past the group of vampire, who were chatting happily on the entrance hall's couches, trough the door and to the still bright beginning of evening. Everyone believed that he was a D-rank vampire because of his resistance towards sun. As a pureblood, he could spend time in such a "bright light" without getting any weaker, just like the ex-humans. It made him unhappy to be classified together with those useless, weak creatures, but he couldn't deny the fact that their existence actually was of a bit help. That was the only reason he could stand being among them, and actually pretend to enjoy their company. He could make use of them in other ways as well. When he was extremely hungry, he could just hypnotize one of them, and take a bite. It was warm outside, and colourful flowers were blooming everywhere around the night dormitory. It was a stunning sight, seeing the garden in it's current state. But it was even more beautiful during the midnight of full moon; Only then it was in it's full glory, and all the people from night class would go and celebrate there. It was soon full moon, and Kazushi would be participating in his first party here. What a good opportunity to get in better to the inside-rings of vampires. Even though he knew that there might be day-students outside of the night dormitory's walls, Kazushi jumped over the many meters high fence easily, just like if he had been jumping over a tree-branch. He looked around him, making sure that no-one saw him, and continued his walk further to the forest, the fountain as his destination.
「viviD
Name: (Last); Yamato, (First); Takeo Age: In Human years; 18. In Vampire years; he lost count. Position: Seke Race: Pureblood Vampire Faction: Vampire Council (though he mostly doesn't bother) Power: *Disables all five senses - sight, hearing, smell, touch taste. It'll only end in minutes or hours but enough for him to move. The time depends on the effort he did and if you're very good at un-disabling the ffect. *Healing - he can heal wounds, broken bones, scars, etc. But if used too much in a day; he'll likely feel woozy and might collapse. Weapon: His PSP (Not really) Appearance: Bio: He claims he killed his parents. There were no evidence to prove it. Whether they believe it or not, it doesn't help the fact he's the last line of the Yamato generation of pureblood vampires and the fact that both his parents were not one of those nice purebloods, not really trusting either and if alive; they would be on the Rebel side. Let's see... he's lazy, moves only when he wants to. A game-addict, starting when the components were released, he was bored with nothing to do and only indulge with curiosity in the gadgets the humans made in which he enjoyed a whole lot. He really doesn't go anywhere without his psp or other game gadgets that he can bring. One of those "cool kids", reserved and aloof, laid-back and nonchalant, calm and doesn't really care about other things, most of the time he's in his own gaming world. He also has a childish side. He doesn't give shit about acting like a noble the others imagine, given his position. Totally disregards the need for sugarcoated politeness or well-mannered behavior, preferring to being straightforward to point of being blunt. Totally not noble-like, not pureblood-like. If needed to be serious, he'll be serious... most of the time.
「viviD
Once he woken up, he immediately grabbed his PSP on the drawer next to his bed, in which he charged it after class last night, pressing the power button and watched it brought to life. He ignored everything else, pausing his game to do things he usually did. He grimaced at his uniform, he didn't like wearing other clothes other than the clothes he usually wore. He rather wear his usual white dress shirt, his black jacket with the shoulder covered with fur and collar, his yellow necktie. This was so not cool. He ignored everything else, focusing intently on the game but slightly pausing, glancing at this Kazushi person. He wasn't a noobie to not notice the power that seems to be covering Kazushi about something. It was slight alarming that it was hidden so well. He wouldn't have noticed unless he squinted and focused real hard. Done so expertly. And that aura of his. He doesn't say anything, focusing on his game as the object of his slight curiousness went away unnoticed. His instinct told him he was dangerous, his brain was really curious but his heart was yelling to 'don't give a damn, games are much more important!' and so, he followed his heart. His organ was right; games are more awesome. Maybe some other day but screw it, games first. ...Oh shi—! Tatsuya, don't die yet!
Shi.No.Tobiko
Name: Riki Mitsuni Age: 18 Position: Uke Race: Human Faction: Disciplinary Committee Power: The Awesome Ability To Attempt To NOT Collapse From Exhaustion. Weapon: Metal Staff Appearance: History: Riki ever since a young adult, after being medicated for phschosis, had always been fascinated with beings that weren't like him; a regular, fleshy, emotional lump of used space. Usually sarcastic to other people, he finds the darker creatures of the world fascinating, why? That had been the question for years. It could have been because he knew they existed where others were blissfully blind. It also could have been because that meant there was something in the world higher than them on the food chain. He came to the conclusion though that it was because they were the most dangerous. He had always been the one to stumble upon trouble, whether he wanted to or not. Much like when he first came to Cross Academy. One whole year here and he was ready to be on the Disciplinary Committee. The night class had always been fascinating. Watching them from afar, never being able to get close to them ever. It was for their own good. He kept his lips shut most of the time to the secret of the Academy. He knew it. The Night Class were all Vampires... Finally, after attending for the whole first year, he had approached the HeadMaster. Refusing to beat around any bushes he caught him in the office and plain as day admitted he Knew what the Night Class were. Instantly, he had gained report; not because he had graduated Highschool early or had always been top in his classes, but because he was not blind to what was plainly in front of his face. Now he could finally be where he wanted to be, amongst his own kind, and amongst those who could kill him in an instant... Was it best for him though? His childhood had long been forgotten. Trauma locked out tha length of memory for him, what was the reason for it? No one ever knew. Night Terrors would rip him from sleep, countless doctors trying to figure out the key to his past. It was simply a Mystery, one that was covered up by medication he was given. What he saw or experienced, no one would ever know. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Removing his glasses he rubbed his eyes gently as he stared at his reflection in the mirror. He agreed with himself, he looked exhausted... The urge to yawn came over him, his mouth opened wide and a soft sound escaped over his lips. It was a boring night... Nothing much happened, some Day students had tried to get into the night class dorms to take pictures. Thankfully he had been there to confiscate the photos and escort them back to their dorms. Of course he had to report them to the Head Master which he wasn't too happy to do. Though now with his shift over, he could finally lay down and sleep... He turned away from the mirror and slipped his dress shirt off with his slacks. Standing there in his day boxers he walked up to his dresser and pulled out a pair of his night underwear. stepping out of his boxers he picked up his clothes and placed them in the hamper before slipping into the clean pair. He knew he was only going to get a few hours of sleep before he had to be up for day classes... That wasn't exciting to him at all. Rolling back the blankets he curled up in bed as he immediately relaxed into the softness. He looked up at the window and saw a flash of a shadow before closing his eyes and submitting to his exhaustion. The early sun shone through the window a few hours later, forcing him out of his deep sleep. He groaned and rolled over before the warning bells rang. He sat up with a moan before throwing the blankets off and rushing up and over to the bathroom. He rushed in and threw the shower on, not bothering waiting for it to heat up, he threw his boxers off and jumped in. Quickly washing his hair and conditioning it, he jumped out shutting the faucet off and throwing a towel around his hair before rushing to the closet to throw on his school clothes. He grabbed his spear and glasses, before throwing on his committee arm brace. He slipped into his shoes and grabbed his bag as he rushed out the door. He rushed into his class just in time for the bell to ring. Collapsing into his seat he huffed as he caught his breath before looking down at the other classmates who stared back at him. "Mr. Riki, I know you are on the Committee, so it is a pleasure to have you join us today ON TIME!" Riki grimaced as he leaned back and opened his book ready to get on with their lesson. Though he managed to get his school work done he was still chastised for being late often due to his nightly duties. He sat there and began to day dream. Hio and Takeo were two Vampires he knew he should keep an eye on. Something about them spoke more and deeper than what was shown daily. Especially Hio. He couldn't put his finger on it, but he didn't exactly trust him, transferring in halfway through the semester seemed shady to him. He didn't like the vibes he got from him. As the bell rang he came out of his own thoughts and looked up. "We are going to be having a test next week so study the material." As the teacher said that he looked up at Riki with a stern face. He grimaced again before slipping out of his seat to go to his next class. The day dragged on like that. Every class was much of the same until the end of the day. Then it came time for the Night class to come out... Standing there trying to rally the day students to stay in their lines, he tried to keep them all in line as the night students began to walk out to their classes. Riki struggled as he tried to force the girls back to give the night class room. Someone pushed by him to run and try to touch one of the night class students. He grabbed her arm and spun her back into the line. "OKAY! You saw them! It's time to go back to YOUR DORMS GO!" He yelled and began to push the day students back to where they need to be. As the last few students began to head sorrowfully back to their dorms, he sighed in relief as he looked back at the Night class. Stretching up he began to do head counts, everyone was there except one... "Hio..." He looked around and looked back to the night class dorms, he caught a glimpse of a shadow going over the wall... Damn it! He darted off into the forest after the shadow who seemed to deviate from the rest of the class. The fountain was that way... He may have assumed Hio was headed that way, but in truth he didn't know who was deviating. He came up fast on the fountain before hiding in one of the bushes, keeping an eye out on his surroundings. ~You headed this way I know you did... I saw you...~ The sun had finally set by the time he settled down watching. Thankfully there were lights around for him to be able to keep watch. the soft spring breeze was comfortable as he crouched there...
