well this post is gonna be a massive rant about people and their comments so if you don't wanna hear me get annoyed by people back of now!!!

 

So anyway i was on a site and i was looking thought the comments under Crimson spell and this idiot had pretty much put that they hated Crimson spell and only read it for the smut and that the story was shit!!! Now i don't know how others feel on this matter but i personally love Crimson Spell it is my favorite manga and when people put things like that it pisses me off!

 

I love the story and the fantasy side of it and i adore how Yamane has built up the love between her characters and how she has managed to convey Havi and Val as the odd couple they are and how near the start of the series Val didn't know Havi well and still liked him him even if at the time he denied liking Havi in any sexual context and refused Havi's feelings outright when he found out, i love the plot the cute feelings and the gorgeous drawing of this manga, i mean don't get me wrong i read yaoi for the smut as well but if it didn't have the story this would be a piece of shit, anything would be a piece of shit if it didn't have the story even if like Yamane the drawing is so good you could die!!

 

Seriously if you want smut then go read some porn or something!!! there must be yaoi manga out there that also comes specifically under the Hentai category or even if you don't go looking for it read thing such as Crimson spell but please please please just keep your comments to yourself!! I feel sorry for Yamane for having her artwork being the object of some random persons masturbation material!! Can't you have a little more respect for an artist who is top of her genre than to masturbate over her work and then to go and make a point of it by posting comments that is asking for trouble from fans!!!

 

Also if you really do hate the story then why would you read it in the first place, yer i know Crimson spell has a lot of smut in it but really if you want that then there are far more erotic things out there and you could also find a doujinshi if nothing else since people draw all sort of erotic ones!!! Errr i mean seriously!!!

 

If you are that desperate to get some then you should go on some online dating site and find some messed up relationship with is completely sexual then that's where you will get it! People who read manga for the sex are messed up and weird, i know that slightly hypocritical since i like that part of it but if you only get turned on but seeing cartoon characters doing it then i think you should go see a doctor cause you will never be able to have a relationship with a character from a manga or anime and you are even less likely to get a sex based relationship with one!!!

 

I really need to stop now cause i could go on all day about this but i have one final point and don't worry this is more of a polite plea to people out there that find themselves posting things like this whether because they want to annoy people like me or because they think they can say whatever online, i don't care! But basically please think a bit before you post something like this because it is disrespectful to the author and to a lesser extent to all her fans, if someone said something like that to my face i would probably punch them! and i don't believe these people would ever say that to any ones face not least of all because they are too embarrassed to admit they find Yaoi manga erotic and not gross!!

 

I love yaoi manga and likely always will but if you only read it for the sex then fine i suppose i wont say anything but if you make a point of it and you make that point rudely too i will write or talk or if its too my face punch you!! So beware cause im probably not the only one!

Also one a final note please anyone who consider wring a rude comment, please think a bit about what youre about to write BEFORE you press the post button!!!

First off I want to lay the ground for entertainment of all kinds. People will all have different reasons for doing certain things for example:

A) Enjoys bouncing on the trampoline.

B) On the other hand... Uses their trampoline for exercise purposes.

C) Uses their trampoline for practice for their gymnastics...

 

There is a common object linking people A, B and C however their reasons for using/owning the trampoline are different.

 

 

Back to the subject at hand... If this particular user enjoyed reading this manga for the erotic features embedded in the storyline then we can not judge. We are in no place to judge them as their common link to us is that they have read the manga.

 

I agree their choice of words was poor. They had poorly translated their feelings,

REMEMBER: Many people use the internet to post nasty comments for personal gratification. Satisfaction through putting others down and joy through their anonymous status (I hope i phrased that correctly). This user may have been a troll or someone who was so frustrated that they decided not to correctly communicate their views in a politically correct manner.

 

 

I am very passionate about Uraboku (the anime NOT the manga) and I found A LOT of negative comments regarding the storyline and characters... People simply stated the anime was terrible. I was hurt by this as the story touched me...

It made me feel very emotional and the characters were REAL rather than whimsical people with flowing hair when there is no wind.

 

 

Feel free to have your rant but then you must try to swallow the anger (or find someone you trust that you don't mind ranting to) and move on.

 

 

People like this always exist. We can't let comments from other manga/anime people ruin our mood... Waste of energy

 

 

I could be repairing lace wigs, brushing my hair, drawing a bishi (i still don't know what that means LOL) or something else like twerking in my bedroom XD

Personal experiences colour their views on certain activities and objects.

Hampton Castle Resort

Beautiful castle hotel able to house 300 guests, in house spa, gym, eatery/cafe, cinema room and a wide open space surrounding the resort.

 

Reviews:

 

A) The architecture was magnificent, beautiful garden adorned with ruby red roses (beautiful scent, my room overlooked these wonderful flowers). I had come here with my boyfriend for my birthday... It was a weekend to remember!

 

B) SUCKED! Food was crap, everything crap. Came here with my husband... load of crap...

 

 

Did you know person B had found out their husband was cheating on them... Of course they would HEAVILY dislike the hotel that revealed their philandering husband!

ahh sorry i was not trying to say that people don't have reasons for posting what they do or that in fact people have different opinions on things and i apologies if it came out that way i just believe that if people believe such things they should keep it to themselves...now i feel slightly hypocritical since i put this post online.

I understand that people have problems, many of my friends have problems such as (mind blank...) depression and i have friends that are told awful things over the internet which is why i choose to post this here rather than anywhere near the post that was put on the site. When i wrote this i did not mean to offend people or hurt anyone i just wanted to convey my view however i do understand that possibly after re reading what i have written i may have gone about it in the wrong way and i apologies profusely if i caused offense however this is something that i feel very strongly about and so i felt i should warn people that in reality if they are not prepared to say something to ones face you should not say it at all.

I may be more sensitive to this subject than most because my little sister had a horrible time when she started high school due to Facebook and ask-FM during this time she went into an extreme depression and i was the one that she would talk to so i know how awful people can be online and how much it can hurt even such a small thing such as this ca really offend people although i may have exaggerated the problem with my own emotions!

Trust me... I have been there and done that! Everyone knew me, most liked me but I was always alone. I have depression too... Actually have anxiety issues on top of that! No meds here, all natural \0/

 

 

I have been through the stresses of growing up and having to deal with both physical and verbal abuse from peers. However, one must learn to prosper and survive like wild flowers

 

Whilst on this topic, I do wish your sister much luck with handling her depression (she will need people on her side to make her feel safe and loved... it is the ONLY way to help calm it down in my opinion).

 

 

 

I will honestly say I was not offended at all. I studied Sociology at college and am very open minded. I understand from my own personal experiences how things can be and wanted to take time to respond.

I have witnessed first hand similar comments being posted on online forums, YouTube and vice versa. One person had told a YouTuber to kill themselves!

And I have a YT account where I have gotten some pretty mean troll type comments (they are always poorly written with bad grammar... Makes me wonder lol).

 

 

I simply think this person had their reasons either to be a TROLL or VENT their anger and frustrations. Either way, we must take it all in, take a step back and move on. People like this will always co exist so we, as emotional creatures need to find ways of dealing with our frustrations in other ways.

 

 

 

Sorry if I sound like some holy sage, Yoda clone. I am only 20 but have had to mature (well... I laugh at pigeons and have made some of my own vocabulary... XD) much faster in order to understand and cope. Times have been hard, haven't had anyone I could talk to, rely on with my feelings but... Times have changed, people come and go ^_^

yer god sometimes i think life was so much easier in the past i mean at least then there was no internet and people had other things to worry about during the war...like weather THEY are going to live or die not someone else you don't know, but saying that i am a complete tech geek...don't thin i would have been able to survive back then ~~ sorry off topic lol~~ so anyway i see where you are coming from and i do understand its just that i probable will never really understand what some people go through, i mean i had some bullying at high school but looking back on it and looking at my sister and my friend i got off easy and maybe that made me more aware of people but it may be that i became a bit to aware and forgot that actually i need to stop sometimes @~@ god i feel like i am having an epiphany lol

weird how such a useful thing like the internet becoming viral and accessible can cause such problems, i just wish everyone would think before they type although saying that i sometimes wished that i knew what people really thought and i suppose that not seeing the face allows you to do that but you have to know when speaking your mind will help someone or if it will cause them to self harm~ sorry that is very extreme!

I will be honest, the post did come across to me as a little bit like a rant. HOWEVER, we ALL need to let off steam and the topic you chose is not something new. Everyone on this forum will be able to empathise

 

 

When you think about the comment alone (don't associate anyone else to this comment... ONLY look at the comment and the comment alone) do you realise how petty the feelings of anger and hatred are after being able to discuss them calmly with another person?

 

 

What your friends, yourself and your dear sister are going through is on another scale, much more serious, delicate cases. Try to compare those cases to this comment... Someone was annoyed or bored. Boom... It doesn't affect anyone, it will tick you off but think about how the manga/anime made YOU feel and let go

 

I am glad your sister feels she is able to confide in you and has someone she can trust. With depression it is really hard. Many can not understand it, EVERYONE has OFF days however depression is when those "off days" last for weeks or months on end. Sometimes (as you rightly pointed out in one of your responses) people with depression resort to self harm. Again I tell you, I have been through it all and understand the situation like the back of my hand.

 

 

My advice is to keep your sister, friends and family close. Try and be their shoulder to lean on, everyone needs someone they can talk to. If one has nobody to talk to, one can become extremely upset and feel like they are alone in this world. It is not a good feeling and makes depression settle in and worsen.

 

 

Take negative comments with a pinch of salt.

 

The YouTuber I mentioned made a VERY entertaining yet INFORMATIVE response regarding all the hate comments. I watched the entire video and hit the thumbs up

If this person let the comments get to her, to the point she felt like she SHOULD hurt herself and not exist anymore... Then she is only feeding the cycle of people that hate (my words but she said the EXACT same thing in her video).

Please use paragraphs in your responses. I have been finding it quite difficult to read through your responses when there is just one big block of text *chuckles*

Ohh now I feel really bad but thank talking to you did actually help and like you say I probably should have let it slide when I saw it --i normally do but apparently I don't know a friend had pissed me off about something and I guess I did just need to rant about something and at the time it didn't really matter what, I'm sorry I probably bored you but the for discussing with me it did calm me down a lot on this topic

Yes the new Windows 8 does look a little tricky to me. Apparently it has bad reception with many tech gurus... Can't please them all right?

I am running Windows 7, I quite like it! I don't think I would ever upgrade to 8 (kind of need a touch screen to take full advantage too!).
