[Envy]

This cat was going to be the end of his sanity.

 

He knew he should send him down to the bathing rooms downstairs, he really should. But instead he found himself standing and telling him he'd get the bath ready, before he went to the other room. While he worked, he wondered what was he doing.

 

He wasn't even going to listen to his good sense and push the cat away until he was sure of what he should do, or at least until he knew more about him. His promise to keep the boy from getting hurt included himself as well, and yet, here he was seriously considering on throwing caution off.

 

When he was done, he returned to the doorway to call Akira to him.

As he watched him, he convinced himself he would be careful, he would make sure to keep the cat from being hurt by him or anyone else. He'd take this all one step at a time, and make no promises for the future because he didn't know what it would hold for either of them.

 

He looked down at the boy before him, not moving to go back inside the bathing room just yet. Placing both his hands on either side of the boys face making sure he looked up at him, neeting his frosty green eyes.

 

“I can't make any promises Akira. I shouldn't because I don't know what will happen. Or how long I will be allowed to have you. If you can accept that, if you really want nothing more than a relationship filled with no words on the future, and a risk of being hurt and disappointed. Then we can try.” he stopped along enough to let that sink in.

 

“That's all I can really give you.” he added after a moment of silence.

Akira stood going over to the master quietly his ears down. The shirt landed about mid thigh and he looked up at his master when he reached him. His cool hands landing on either side of his face came to a shock. The words that came out of the masters mouth shocked him. He was willing to be with him...if he was willing to accept the fact the relationship could end at any moment. Akira started to cry his ears falling flat again. He smiled up at him, "If that is all i can have then i will take it. I love you already Lord Knight...nothing more to it." He smiled. He wanted to kiss him though he lacked the height and coruage to do so.

 

He looked behind him at the bath. He hugged him, "Y-your letting me take one here?" He asked with a small crack in his voice. He was so happy even though that wasnt exactly what he wanted...it would have to do. He smiled looking up at him again. "Thank you." He said flattening his ears.

Knight groaned inwardly. Yeah, he was already a goner and he knew it.

 

He ran a hand through the boys hair and nodded at his question. If the cat kept telling him he loved him, he knew he would never want to give him up in the end. But he honestly couldn't bring himself to care.

 

“You're welcome.” he said as he took one of his hands and led him inside. “Go ahead and get in, I'll get you everything you'll need from the closet.”

 

He left the room long enough to get another of his shirts, more soap and fresh towels. Once he grabbed things for himself as well, he returned to the bathing room.

When the masters hand slipped into his he followed him into the bathing room. He smiled watching him go. He pulled up the shirt revealing all of himself. He blushed and stepped into the tub dropping down fast when the door opened. He flattened his ears and blushed. "Thank you again." He said looking at the shirt then to the master. His cheeks turned red. 'he wasnt getting in with him was he?' Akira thought as he put his mouth in the water blowing into it to make a splashing sound. He looked over the masters body liking what he saw. He blushed darker looking away.

Knight looked to him as he placed everything down and gave him a small smile.

 

“You're welcome Akira.” he replied.

 

Sharing a bath would be lovely since he would like to soak for a while, but he felt it was too soon. When he looked back, he could see the dark blush on the cats face, and he chuckled inwardly. Yeah. Maybe he'd wait for some time before he climbed into a bath with him.

 

He found it amusing however.

 

The cat was determined to be with him, even went so far as licking him earlier, and now he was all blushes and awkwardly looking away. Letting it go, he slipped off his shirt and walked over to the bath with the soap and scrubbing sponge.

He sat on the edge of the tub, setting them down beside him.

 

“I'll get your back when you are ready, alright?” he said to the cat.

Akira smiled lifting up his face and turning to face the wall. "D-do it now.." He asked looking back at the lord. He arched his vack feeling the sponge on his back. He purred feeling the masters fingers against his back. "Hm..." He hummed lightly feeling the pressure on his back. He was happy he hadnt gotten in with him. Akira knew he would probably freak out if Master got in with him...naked. Akira's cheeks reddened all the way to his ears.

 

He resumed humming when he thought the master was almost done. He played with the bubbles in the water pushing them around feeling the masters fingers messege him.

Knight almost laughed when he saw the red going up the cats neck, and most likely over his face which was turned away from him at the moment.

 

He was so curious to know if the boy had ever been with anyone before, or was this the reaction of someone who has never been touched intimately.

 

Now that the thought was in his head, he wanted to ask him, but he had a feeling it would make the cat flustered, so he held in his curiosity for now. Maybe he'd wait until tonight or maybe when the younger male was much more comfortable with him and not so shy.

 

When he was done with his back, he went on and washed his hair like he had once before. He had him lay back so he could rinse his hair out and when he was done he gave him a small smile.

 

“I'll be back. Go ahead and finish while I'm away.” he told him before he stood back up and walked across the bathing room.

 

He slipped his shirt back on, and left.

 

In his room, it was being cleaned and food was waiting on his table near the fireplace. The staff looked up at him, smiled, greeted him. He said his hellos as he went to the table, picking at his food to give the cat time to wash himself.

He'd might pass out if Knight insisted on washing him instead.

 

The thought made him chuckle inwardly.

 

This was going to be interesting.

He sighed feeling the masters hands on his scalp. He missed it, he remembered the feeling when he was sick but he really wasnt paying attention then. He relaxed letting him wash him. When he was done he stood and walked out. Akira sighed and put his head back in the water letting the soap rinse out of his hair. He had wished he wasnt so shy around him. This was the first time he really cared for someone else in this way. Wanting to be touched...held.

 

He shook his head getting the body soap out and standing. He got out of the bath and went to the shower next to it. He put the soap on him cleaning every part of him. He sighed again for the third time feeling the water fall over his body washing away all the soap. He looked down at himself, 'what part of him deserved to be with the lord?' the thought pushing its way into his mind making him second guess himself. He turned off the water letting the last traces of it fall down his body until nothing was left but drops coming off his hair.

 

He went to the towel putting it around his chest. It was big enough to fall just below his butt. He stood in the room looking around for clothes.

Thinking he gave him enough time, Knight walked back into the bathing room.

 

Akira was wrapped in a towel looking around the room. He stepped inside and closed the door behind himself. He walked to the vanity against the wall and pulled the shirt he had gotten for him out of the fold.

 

“I had someone go to your room to get you something of yours to wear. In the mean time.” he moved over to him.

 

He slipped the shirt over the towel around him, helping him put it on, and do up the front so it wouldn't hang off him. Then he grabbed a dry towel and began to dry his hair gently, careful of his ears. When he was finished, he looked down at him

 

“I'm going to bathe now. Wait for me out in the bedroom. I'll join you soon.” he said walking him towards the door.

 

When he was alone, he cleaned up behind the cat and then got ready for his own bath. He had a lot to think on.

Akira smiled seeing the shirt on the vanity. He spotted it right when the master walked in going over to it and slipping the shirt over his head. He tied up the front making it uncomterable and slightly hot. Akira squeezed out of the towel letting it fall to the ground. He smiled up at the lord feeling him dry his hair gently. His face reddened when the master said he would be bathing. Akira walked with him to the door and looked back, "Master...I will wiat for you." He said smiling brightly and leaving the room running to the bed and jumping onto it.

 

He looked down at the knot in the shirt and sat up on his knees undoing it. He smiled feeling the shirt fan around him like the last one did. He pulled the covers over himself and laied his head on the pilllow turning his face into it. He took a breath smelling the masters smell and smiling. His ears went down thinking about it again. He didnt know if the master loved him...or if he was just playing with him anymore. He really didnt care. His body and his heart both craved his touch and his warmth. He wanted the lord...bad. He sighed closing his eyes drifting off again. The steam helping his stomach and letting a cloud of calm run over him as he yawned curling up and dozing to the smell of the master and the faint sound of the water in the next room.

Akira smiled seeing the shirt on the vanity. He spotted it right when the master walked in going over to it and slipping the shirt over his head. He tied up the front making it uncomterable and slightly hot. Akira squeezed out of the towel letting it fall to the ground. He smiled up at the lord feeling him dry his hair gently. His face reddened when the master said he would be bathing. Akira walked with him to the door and looked back, "Master...I will wiat for you." He said smiling brightly and leaving the room running to the bed and jumping onto it.

Knight exited to his room dressed as he had been earlier.

 

He went back to finish the food he had left. After he was done and cleaned off his hands and face, he walked to the desk on the other end of the room, his eyes going to the sleeping figure on his bed on the way.

 

He sat down and grabbing paper and pen and began to write. When he was done, he sealed the letters he wrote, and stood, leaving the room long enough to have a word with his head clerk. Once that was done, he went back to his room.

 

The two maids that had cleaned his bathing room, and his table, while he was gone had just finished and scurried out the room when he entered. He knew word already spread through the staff about Akira being in his bed since yesterday. But as long as none of them gave him a hard time about it, Knight wouldn't say anything to them about it.

 

Grabbing a book, he settled himself next to the sleeping figure and began to read since he wasn't at all tired.

Akira woke hearing a book page turn. He sighed smelling the masters scent. He yawned and turned around to face the master his shirt rising up in protest. He smiled sleepily and put his hand in the book closing it gently keeping the spot and leaning over the knight setting it on the table. "You cant tell me you were reading the whole time i was asleep?" He said feeling slightly guilty for not being up.

 

He crawled up onto the masters lap and straddled him hugging his neck. The shirt he wore hicking up to his mid thighs letting his bare body sit on the masters lap. He flinched not knowing what came over him and he, pulled back sliding off his lap..."S-sorry..." He said looking down his ears flat in apology. He didnt know why but his body seemed to want to be really close to the lords.

 

He looked up at him shyly missing his warmth. The shirt hung from his shoulder and he pulled it up fast looking away. He wanted to be that close to him but he didnt think he was allowed that close yet. He smiled lightly, "I know the master may not want me like that." He said looking down.

When the smaller hand closed his book, Knight was snapped out of his focus on the words right before him.

 

His eyes went to the figure beside him as he spoke. A brow lifted as the book was taken away and the way the cat spoke to him. The brow went higher when said cat crawled into his lap and wrapped his arms around his neck.

 

He blinked in surprised as he suddenly was moving away, once again looking shy with his ears back and covering himself with the shirt he wore.

 

What the heck was that?

 

One moment he was all bold and climbing on him, the next he was all shy and stuttering.

 

As he looked at him, he wasn't sure where that had come from, and it just confirmed how little he knew about his new companion. Reaching out, he grabbed the cats wrist, and pulled him back towards him. His last words catching his attention away from the behavior he had just displayed.

 

“I never said I didn't.” he said to him as he pulled him to settle against his side.

 

He wrapped an arm around his waist.

 

“If I don't like something you are doing, I will tell you, so don't assume I don't like it, or I don't want you. Giving and getting affection is a part of a relationship. Unless I'm extremely busy or I'm meeting with someone, you are welcomed to do as you please, because for now I'm yours.”

Akira let his ears flick forward at his words. He looked up at him an pulled himself back onto his lap hesitating before he wrapped his arms around his neck. "So this is okay?" He asked letting his shirt fan out again. He could feel the lord under him on his bare skin.

 

He had been with men before...not willingly though and his first time had hurt alot. He had resorted to selling himself awhile back to help pay off his last masters debts. He smiled licking the lords lips gently having his ears back in hesitation. He liked it when the master touched him...he hated it when those other men did it. Forcing him to do it with them. Akira could make the master hard if he really wanted to. He was good at it after two years being sold.

 

"That means we are together?" He asked hugging him closer. He wanted the master to accept him...to touch him...all of him. This was the first time he ever wanted another man to touch him. All the others he could care less if they died or lived. He cursed those men pushing themselves into his body.

Knight wrapped his arm around the cats waist “That what it means yes.” he told him.

 

His other hand went to the boys hair, brushing it back from his face in slow sweeps.

 

“Akira.” he wasn't sure he should ask, but he needed to know the answer to this before it drove him crazy.

 

“Have you ever been with another man? And before you get worked up. I'm not judging you. I just need to know. I'll still want you if you have, I just want to know.” he told him making eye contact so he know he was being serious.

 

“If you can't remember, that's fine too.” he added as he traced his fingers down smaller males jaw.

Akira flinched at the question. "Y-yea....i have. Though it was never for love. They did me for money...my last master wanted me to help him...and i couldnt say no..." He said starting to tear up at the memory. He remembered his first time like it was yesterday. He flinched again flattening his ears. He sighed sniffling and wiping his eyes. It had hurt so bad...pushing and violating him.

 

"Lord your not going to hurt me...I'm used to it." He said looking into his eyes leaning closer to his hand that caressed his face. "I'll be fine...the worst is already over." He said letting him know that he wasnt a virgin and that he could take it if he was willing to give it.

He wiped the younger males eyes for him and then pulled him closer, his fingers going back into his hair, stroking through the strands and over his ears. He would have liked for him to have said no, but things weren't always what you wanted. Besides, it didn't matter. The cat was with him now, and he wasn't into sharing.

 

“I'm sorry you had to go through that.” he said lowly “No one else will be allowed to touch you as long as your with me.”

At his words Akira hugged him and buried his face in his neck, "Thank you." He said starting to purr for his master. He giggled looking back at the lord and wiping his eyes, "Y-you know i never used to purr like that....you are the first person who has made me want to." He said blushing and nuzzling the lords neck. He purred louder for him letting him hear and his tail flicked from side to side lifting the shirt slightly higher.

Knight smiled faintly at the sound of the cats giggle and words.

 

It was nice to know how comfortable the younger male was with him. His hand kept stroking his hair as he nuzzled into his neck. He sat there enjoying the warmth of the smaller body pressed into his, the vibration from his purring as it traveled through his chest to the rest of him.

 

Of course he was curious about a few other things about Akira.

 

Like his tail for example.

 

He was watching it move over his legs as it flicked back and forth. He remembered as a child the barn cats tails were sensitive so he had been scolded for yanking them by his mother. He didn't have the urge to yank his tail, just examine it.

 

Without really thinking about it, he reached out and grabbed a hold of the moving tail, and lifted it towards himself to get a closer look.

Akira purred rubbing around and under the lords neck. He smiled letting his hands fall on his shoulders. He loved the warmth. He loved the feeling of the master accepting him. His ears flicked towards the master ready to catch anything he would say. He felt the warm breath on hit ears and they flicked when the master breathed out and it went over his ears. They went right back up though. Akira's tail moved over the master's legs happily.

 

Akira stopped moving his tail but didnt stop purring. He felt the master touch his tail and he flinched. He was sensitive there. He purred louder moving it slightly in his hand letting him feel the soft fur of his tail. He smiled, "You like it?" He asked looking back at his tail in his hand. "I love it." He giggled pulling it to his face and nuzzling it along with the masters hand.

Knight chuckled at the cats reaction

 

“I was just curious. I've never met anyone with a tail before.” he looked at the boys ears “Or ears like yours.”

 

“I've heard about them of course.” he looked back to the tail in his hand “How sensitive is it?” he asked as he watched the boy nuzzle his face in his hand and his tail.

 

Gently he moved his fingers against the fur, noting the texture and the feeling of the moving muscles underneath.

Akira blushed and looked away. He hadnt had anyone touch his tail before like this and it acctually feel good.

 

"U-um....it is very sensitive." He said resting his own chest against Knights laying his head down on his shoulder. He was happy and he would even let the man touch him if he wanted it.

 

"I havn't had anyone touch my tail before...so it's a new feeling." He smiled lightly and blushed even though the master couldnt see. He was happy none of the maids had walked in on them while they were like this. He thought what that would look like. Akira on their masters lap touching him with such familiarity. He sighed and let his ears fall. "U-um...what if someone comes in? And sees us like this?" He asked looking up at him and moving back slightly to do it.

Knight looked away from his hand with the tail in it to the face of the boy in his lap at his question.

 

Though he didn't care if they did, he had to think about Akira's feelings on the subject, so he thought on the best way to explain things to him and decided to just be blunt.

 

“In all honesty, I don't really care what they think if they did. Not to mention only one person is allowed to just walk in without permission... well two now. Karen and now you. And she has already seen us here. So has Rei. And I'm sure by now the whole staff knows you've been here with me.”

 

“So seeing us like this wouldn't be such a surprise to any of them. But it's unlikely anyone will come in without my say so.”

Akira started touching the masters hair pushing it away from his face and out of his frosty green eyes. He smiled and purred happily. He heard the sentence making it still his hand a moment before a blush covered his face and he started stroking his hair again. "A-all of them?" Knight was enjoying the feel of the cats fingers in his hair.

 

It was hardly done, but he liked it when his hair was played with someones fingers. His words about having to go back to work brought him out of the small trance he had been lolling in. Frosty green eyes moved to the cats, when his hand stilled and his face looked as if he was worried about something.

 

Reaching up, he brought the others hand down to his lap. “You don't have to work unless you wish to Akira.” he told him.

 

He figured he should explain to him about a perk of being in a relationship with someone like him.

 

“As my courtesan, you don't need to do anything you do not want to. If you wish to sleep all day, everyday, then you have that choice. You can also take a leadership role in the household over the staff if you wanted to. They and even those outside of the house, once they know, will treat you as if you were my spouse. Being with me gives you many options and opportunities. There might even be a few other lords that will try and offer you gifts and other things if you go to them. But I'm sure I will not have to worry about you taking them up on their offers.”

 

He gave him a small smile “Don't worry. This is your home now, even if things end between us, this will be your home still.”
