Akira happy kissed the lord at his words. He let his ears fall apologeticly. He didnt know if he was allowed to do this or not but he said it was a relationship so it ment not just looking like it but a physical one too. He smiled, "So...I dont have to leave? I can stay here?" He asked his tail moving happily behind him falling over the lords legs. He blushed looking up at him....He had something that had been bothering him for some time now. What was he to call him? He didnt want to call him master or lord anymore. He wanted to use his name if he was okay with it.

 

"U-um...can i call you something other than master? or lord? I-I mean i dont mind using them...just doesnt feel...normal." He said looking away hoping the master would brush it off and not get on to him. He didnt want this man to ever be mad at him. He was frightened on what may happen to him if he did.

Knight had been surprised by the kiss he received, but he didn't disapprove.

 

He did tell him he was free to do as he liked, and he meant it. He ran a hand down the cats back as he watched his happy expression and he gave a small smile and a nod of his head at the question about his staying.

 

The next question was something he expected. It would only be natural for him to want to call him by his name and not his title.

 

“My first name is Sabriel. Though I prefer Knight. You may call me either when when we are alone. But when we are in company, Master or Lord Knight will do.”

[Arekushisu]

Akira shivered feeling the hand trail over his back. He smiled at the words. He was happy to call him by his name. Meaning if he liked Knight better...then that means more people call him that. Akira touched his cheek caressing it, "Sabriel..." He said letting the name play in his mouth. He liked it. "I understand i cant call you it in public. In private is enough for me." He said truely happy about it. He smiled brightly touching Sabriel's lips gently with his fingertips.

Knight smiled lightly at him when he said his name.

 

There were very few people that called him that and he never really liked it. His mother was the only person he never corrected, she had every right to call him by his given name. The rest of his family... he hated when they called him by

that name and they knew it.

 

But he found he actually liked it coming from Akira,.

 

The way he spoke it was with affection, unlike his brothers who did it out of spite, or his father who cared for no one but himself. The cats next words brought him out of his thoughts, and he found himself smiling back with the others finger tips resting on his lips.

Akira smiled seeing Sabriel smile. Did that mean he liked the name? He thought trying to see if the name was okay.

 

"Your okay with me calling your Sabriel?" He said the name again liking the way it went flowing through him out into the air. He started to stroke Sabriel's cheek looking at him tearing up. He laughed lightly wiping his eyes, "I-i'm sorry...this is the first time anyone has cared about me..." He said smiling through the tears. He wasnt sad but happy knowing that this man was all his until he couldnt have him anymore.

 

He smiled sniffling and rested his forehaed on Sabriel's his ears pulled back. He was so happy he didnt have to go out in the streets again. Selling his body for money just to buy food. He had told the truth. It was the first time anyone had cared enough to make them together...say they were a couple. He closed his eyes smelling in the scent of Sabriel all around him.

Knight moved his head up enough to press a kiss on the cats forehead.

 

He wrapped his arms around him completely, and pulled him close until the boys head was on his shoulder.

 

“Yes Akira, I'm alright with you calling me by my given name.” he said as he once again ran a soothing hand up and down his back. “ I like the way it sounds when you speak it. And I'm glad that you are happy here. That I could make you happy.”

 

He just hoped it would last.

Akira kissed Sabriel's neck lightly when he was pulled to him. He liked everything about this man wanting him to hold him closer.

 

"Thank you...for telling it to me." He whispered into his ear feeling himself purr agian. He ran his fingers down his back and it made Akira shiver lightly his tail flicking excited. It was telling his mood but he knew Sabriel wouldnt understand since he hadnt ever met a neko before. He purred louder biting his ear gently letting him know he was happy and showing affection to his master.

Knight woke early, just as the sky was lighting outside his windows.

 

This was normal for him, he usually rose this early so he could get a jump on his day. His eyes cleared from sleep and fell on the dark head next to his on his pillow. This had become normal too. It had been almost a week since he and the cat had become a couple, though not yet lovers, and he woke to him every morning and fell asleep beside him every night.

 

Moving in close he pressed a kiss to the boys head, like every morning, and slipped from under his covers.

 

Today was the last day of the holidays, and he had gotten everyone a present. He had allowed Karen Rei, Blair and three of his estate guards to make certain nothing happened to them when they went into town again since Akira hadn't gotten a chance to buy anything that day on the dock.

 

After getting a bath, he dressed for the day and left the room.

 

He had some presents to get from the place he had hid them. And he wanted to hurry before Akira woke up.

Akira blinked his eyes open closing them quickly as the sun was out. He moaned and pulled the covers over his head rolling onto his side. He smelled Sabriel's sent and smiled. He ran his hand over the spot he would occupy and he sat up not feeling him. He looked around the room. Not seeing him he got up going to the bathroom.

 

He was used to this. Getting in the bath and pulling on another pair of clothes waiting for Sabriel to get back.

 

He turned off the water wrapping a towel around his waist. He and Sabriel had been a couple now for almost a week...though Akira felt insecure. They hadnt done anything but kiss and even that they only do every once an awhile. He wasnt even sure Sabriel liked him anymore.

 

He went to the closet that now had his own clothes in there along with the others. He pulled on a long sleve shirt with the sleves to long they covered his fingers. He pulled on some shorts. His soft legs making it able for him to show them off in short shorts and other reaveling clothes. He sighed runnign and jumping on the bed. He pulled out the book he had been reading...or looking at and flipped through the pages.

 

The words and letters all jumbled together. After awhile he got tired and his eyes hurt so he shut the book and pushed it aside. he sighed again laying his back. Why hadnt him and Sabriel done anything?' he thought playing with the sleves of his shirt. He was hoping it was just him making sure Akira was okay...that he cared and didnt want to rush things.

 

He laid there waiting patiantly for Sabriel's return wanting to kiss him good morning before he left for work.

The door to the bedroom opened and Karen peeked inside and smiled when she saw the cat laying on the bed.

 

“Hello Akira.” she said before she walked inside all the way.

 

She walked to the bed and looked down at him with an affectionate smile. Despite his changed position within the household, she still treated him the same. Motherly and protective as ever. She reached a hand out and ruffled his hair lightly.

 

“Why are you still in bed? Do you know what day it is?” she asked him. “Everyone is downstairs for breakfast and we're waiting on you.”

Akira's ears perked up hearing the door click open. He smiled looking up but when he saw Karen he sighed and sat up still. She came to him ruffling his hair and he smiled again. He couldnt not smile she treated him like her kid and he treated her like his mother. She caught him off gaurd telling him they were all downstairs. He smiled, "What day is it?" he asked suddenly forgetting all about time itself. He didnt know what day it was or what time it was.

 

He stood hugging her. He thought and he came up with the answer he smiled and grabbed her hand going to the door. He opened it running down the stairs pulling her with him. He apeared in the doorway seeing everyone was downstairs plates ready to have food on them. He smiled letting her hand go and running to Sabriel. He stopped at him smiling. "sorry i'm late." he said.

 

They were able to act like a couple around the staff for they already knew about all of it. He hugged him, "Morning." he said his ears flattened. He still didnt like showing physical affection infront of others. And some of the staff members had been giving him evil looks since the first night he slept with the master.

Knight hugged the cat back, wrapping an arm around his waist, giving him a small smile.

 

“Morning Akira.” he said as his other hand went to the boys head, his fingers sweeping through his black hair.

 

Knight had no issues with showing his partner any affection outside of the privacy of their bedroom. He was also aware of some of the jealousy of some of the staff. Karen and Rei was quick to let him know who they were in case someone said or did anything to the cat.

 

Though he had no trouble out of anyone at all so far, he wanted to keep an close eye on the situation.

 

Sitting the cat down beside him they all began to dig into the food set up along the table. After they ate everyone went

to one of the smaller ball rooms where tables had been set up and topped with presents for everyone.

 

Knight took a seat in one of the comfortable chairs and watched the people who have been a good staff to him exchange gifts with each other excitedly. The gifts he brought were stacked next to him on his left, and he had one in particular for his cat.

 

Each gift he was given he opened immediately, thanking each person personally with sincerity and handing them the gifts he had gotten for them in return.

Akira smiled through out the breakfast. Nodding his head and going through the motions. though he was getting evil looks from some of the people.

 

When they were finished he grabbed Sabriel's hand and walked with him to the dance hall. His eyes widened at all the presents around him. The tables were piled high with a present for everyone. Akira followed Sabriel sitting next to him on his right side. He saw the many presents beside him. All were wrapped, some big and others small. He smiled at the people that came to Sabriel giving him presents. Akira sat quietly laughing when something happened. He kept looking over at the stack of presents wondering which one was his.

 

He was lucky enough to get Karen to help him. The day on the dock when he was kidnapped he saw a silver chain in the window of a store and he wanted to get it for Sabriel. So when he looked at it he would remember him. He smiled hoping he would like it. She had helped him alot. He was going to wait until they got in bed though to give it to him. Wanting the exchange to be in private. He sighed leaning his head on Sabriel's shoulder his ears twitching at laughing and people talking. he was happy, he hadnt ever had a home like this. That people cared if he didnt show up the next day.

 

He wanted to stay if he could. He didnt care if he got a present or not. The fact he was brought into the home...cared for and loved is a good enough present for him. He smiled linking his arms with Sabriels and holding his hand. He was so happy...his tail flicked falling off the chair. It moved lazily back and forth showing he was in no hurry.

The staff hadn't forgotten Akira in their shopping for gifts.

 

Soon he had his own pile of boxes, even those who were envious of him got him something. They knew he was still new there, so no one really expect him to have a present for them. He could gift them something the following year. When the gifts had been passed out and opened, the only one who hadn't given him anything was Knight.

 

Looking to the cat, he gave him a small smile, “I did get you something. Want to go see it?” he asked him curiously.

Akira smiled opening the boxs that were given to him. He got alot of books that he wouldnt be able to read and some other things. He smiled looking up at Knight when he spoke to him.

 

"You didnt have to." he said standing ready to go somewhere. He smiled and bounced lighlty, "Though if you did i wanna see." He said excited. He had been waiting for the prestent all night and it was finally here. The lights outside were fasing as night creeped in. They had been celebrating all night. He smiled and grabbed knights hand squeezing it. "Nn...!" he purred loud and tugged on his arm wanting them to go to the room so he could give his own present to him.

Knight asked Karen to take his and Akira's presents up to their room as he stood and smiled at the cat, wrapping his arm around his shoulders.

 

He led him from the room while the others were still celebrating with games, food, and drinks. He walked him down the halls towards the back of the palace, he stopped long enough to get them both something to wear to help protect them from the cold.

 

He helped the cat slip on a coat that he had placed there earlier just for this reason and one for himself, and walked out the back door. Looping an arm around the cats, he walked him towards the stables.

 

Just as they approached one of the stable hands walked out leading a horse.

 

The animal was smaller than the stallion Knight rode, it was the purest white, with lithe muscles, long legs, and a arched neck. It almost looked delicate for such an animal, as it gracefully followed behind the young man.

 

Knight reached for the lead when the guy handed it to him, he looked to the cat by his side. “This is Star Gazer. She arrived two days ago far from the south. I bought her, for you.” he told him, hoping this was a good gift to give him.

 

He never asked if he liked horses, but he seemed to like his stallion well enough when he accompanied him to the stables some days.

 

“I thought it'd be good to get you a horse of your own so you can travel with me when I have to go someplace.”

[Arekushisu]

Akira followed him looking back at some of the people behind him as they left. He followed him down the hall putting on the coat he offered him. He smiled looping his arm with Sabriel's he looked confused seeing they were going to the stables. Did they have to leave to go to the present?' he thought.

 

His eyes got large seeing the beautiful horse being walked to them. He looked up at Sabriel when the reins were given to him and he smiled down at him telling the animal was his. He smiled and reached up touching the small ponies head. He purred stroking its nose resting his forehead on the head of the horse. He smiled and let it go jumping up and hugging Sabriel. "Thank you!" He said kissing him gently before blushing.

 

He was happy he could ride with him to wherever he went. He honenstly would miss sitting up there with Sabriel but he would be fine riding beside him. He hugged him again smiling and giggling happily. "I love her she is so pretty." he said moving back to the horse and running a hand down her neck whispering to her. Introducing himself lightly in a murmer. His tail flicked excitedly as he touched her. He was aware of Sabriel behind him and he looked back and smiled. He just hoped that he wasnt expected to get him a horse...he hoped he liked his present. A small peice of chain...nothing signifacant.

Knight was happy that Akira was so excited by his present.

 

When he had heard about the owner selling her, he took a small trip to get a look and the moment he laid eyes on the horse he thought of the cat.

 

She'd be a perfect fit for him.

 

“I bought all you'll need for riding. I'll take you for one tomorrow, hopefully the weather will allow it.” he said as he took the cats hand and lead the horse back to the stables. “You can visit her as much as you like, maybe help keep her stall and things clean.”

 

He let Akira put her back in her stall while he watched.

 

It was good to know his thoughts had been correct, and Star Gazer seemed to like her new master just as much, nibbling on his coat when he was close enough. When he was done, Knight held his hand out for him.

 

“Come on. I got something else for you. It's waiting upstairs.” he said with a small pleased smile.

 

Once they got back to the house, he took the coats and placed them away. He picked up the cats hand again and started upstairs to their room. He opened the door for him and walked in after the younger male. Closing the door he took off his boots and then made his way to the closet

 

“Want to take a bath first?” he asked over his shoulder.

Akira excitedly put the animal back in her stall and he went back to Sabriel smiling. He heard he had something else for him and he looked confused. He shook his head but the look he got back said not to argue.

 

He followed him upstairs without a word. He looked around the room not seeing anything he watched him go to the closet just barely catching his words cause he was checking out his firm body. The muscles easily seen through the shirt. He shook his head and he smiled. "Yea a bath sounds nice." He was used to the routine taking a bath then getting in bed and 'sleeping' together nothing else.

 

He started walking to the bathroom door. He opened it and walked in leaving the door open knowing Sabriel would follow suit. He pulled off the to big long sleeve shirt. He smiled lightly turning on the water and humming happily. He unbuckled his belt pulling off his short shorts and letting the fall to the ground. He pulled off his underwear and leaned over feeling the water making sure it was warm enough.

 

He sunk into the water and scooted over waiting for Sabriel to follow him. He made little splashes in the water making it get his hair wet. He turned off the water seeing it getting up to the right level. He rested his head on the side of the tub trying to see out into the room but failing. "Sabriel?!?" He yelled lightly so no one would hear outside the room. What was taking him so long?

Knight walked in a moment later with nothing but a towel around his waist.

 

After removing it, he climbed into the tub next to Akira. He pulled the cat to him, his back against his chest, resting him into his lap. Certainly he enjoyed his time in the tub with the younger male, but it took a lot in him not to give in to the urges that arises.

 

But after tonight, he won't be needing to worry about any of that.

 

After they bathed, and went to the room, there was a red velvet box about the boys palm on the bed on Akira's pillow with a thin silver ribbon tied around it. Knight sat on his side of the bed and let the cat pick it up and waited for him to open it.

 

He was sure he'd like the thin platinum necklace with a platinum medallion with Knights crest on one side and the cats name on the other. It was simple so no one would be tempted to snatch off of him, but if they saw the crest, they know who Akira was protected by.

 

And hardly anyone ever messed with anything Knight claimed to be his.

Akira blushed settling down on the warm chest. He splashed around in the water popping bubbls around him as they laughed and talked finishing up the bath.

 

When they were done Sabriel took his hand and walked him to the room. He was surprised to see a velvet box on his pillow and he looked at him. "Y-you didnt have to get me two." he said picking up the box anyway. He wanted whatever was inside. He opened the lid finding a platinum necklace laying inside. He smiled blushing and lifted it out of the box. It would be a choker to him but he didnt care. He looked at the medalion on the side and smiled wider when he saw Knight's crest and then his name. He looked at him and flung his arms around his neck.

 

"Thank you!" He said he was happy. It was just like the collar he was hoping to get at some point. All his other masters had given him one with little bells on them and he didnt mind them but he liked this one better. He handed the chain to Sabriel and smiled. "Put it on for me?" he asked his ears twitching. He felt like Sabriel had finally accepted him and was ready to take him in as his partner and not just a neko he found on the street.

 

"Oh! Wait here." he said and stood with the now fastened necklace bounceing on his neck. He went to his side of the bed and went to his drawer pulling out a black box smaller than the one he had gotten. He slowly walked to Sabriel his ears flat. He handed him the box and looked down not wanting to see his face when he opened it just in case he hated it. "H-here..." It was just a simple chain but if he looked closer it matched the one on his neck. He nuzzled his cheek once then purred happily his tail flicking to the side waiting for his reaction to the present.

Knight took the box when Akira handed it to him.

 

He slipped an arm around the boys waist and pulled him onto his lap, sitting him on his lap sideways, before opening the

box. When he saw the silver chain inside he smiled before turning his head and kissed the cat on the lips briefly.

 

“I love it. Thank you.” he truthfully told him, his voice low when he pulled back.

 

He always enjoyed much simpler things over anything flashy and expensive, so the chain was exactly something he would have gotten for himself.

 

He pulled the necklace free and handed it to him before slipping his hair to the side so it could be placed onto his neck. Once it was there, he wrapped his arms around the younger male and moved up onto the bed completely.

 

He turned and let the boy slip onto the bed, but still within his hold. He turned over and lowered the light in the lamp beside the bed, not cutting it off completely, before he turned back to the cat, enclosing his arms around him again.

 

“Did you enjoy your day?” he asked him as he ran a hand up his back.

Akira smiled happy he liked it and his ears flipped up and his tail resumed the cute waving it did when he was with Sabriel alone. He slipped onto the bed next to him after clasping the necklace. He saw the room get darker to where he could just barely see Sabriel's features in the light. He felt the familiar arms go around him and he moved closer to his chest.

 

"I had fun...to be honest that was the first time anyone has gotten me anything. All of my other master's would get me a choker collar with a small bell on it so they knew i was in the house with them and not run away...but that isnt really a present." He said looking down feeling his hands go up his back making him blush lightly and his tail flick excited.

 

"I'm happy you didnt give me a collar like they did...but even the necklace is like one just not to me." He said his hand going up to the necklace and messing with the medalion on it. He was happy to be here. Though he wished Sabriel would hold him already. His body was always on hyper mode when he was around and usually anytime he would be touched while they were kissing he would moan lightly making Sabriel pull back and he would think he did something wrong. He looked up at him, "Thank you...for everything...taking me in, letting me feel welcome, and even for today." He said nuzzling Sabriel's neck purring loudly.

 

He had gotten used to the loud noise that came out of him when he was petted by him or when he was with him in general. He purred for Rei and Karen too but it wasnt near as loud. It seemed like Sabriel had gotten used to petting his ears finding all of the good spots that made him purr or even close his eyes and lean into him more. He hasnt touched his tail alot knowing it is sensitive in that way and i would turn Akira into a kitty in heat.

 

He really was happy that it was next month and not now. He was planning on spending all the time he was going through it in the bathroom locked up and only having Karen bring him food and water. He had already talked to her about it and didnt want Sabriel to know...or anyone for it was embarrasing to him. He nuzzled his cheek and purred into his ear making cute little meows along the way.

Knight laid there listening to the cat as he talked about his past masters.

 

“You're welcome Akira.” he told him when he thanked him for taking him.

 

He had gotten Karen an rather expensive gift for finding the boy lying with him, currently content and nuzzling into him.

 

“That was something I wanted to talk to you about Akira.” he said lowly as he gently ran his fingers over the softness of one of the cats ears.

 

“I found one of the men that had taken you in before. He sent me some paper work on you that he never gave the last man when he won you in a bet.” he explained as he looked down at the boy.

 

“Your nineteen, your twentieth birthday is in the spring, on the twenty first of May almost five months from now. Would you like to know your birth name?”

[Arekushisu]

Akira looked up at him and the purring he had started had cut off. "M-my birth name?" he asked looking up at him sorta remembering his birthday he widened his eyes hearing him talking about the papers and the last master.

 

"I-i sorta want to know..." He said his ears going flat and he moved back slightly away from him looking away. He didnt want to use the name just know it. He liked the name that sabriel had given him. He just wanted to know about his life.
