Knight's hand came up and wrapped around Akira's around the small medallion.

 

“You do deserve it. And you didn't ruin anything. I can wait Akira. If it's what you need, I can wait.” he told him truthfully.

 

He pulled him closer, taking his hand from the necklace, bring his arm around his own shoulders.

 

“You have to learn not to be so hard on yourself. I'm still here aren't I?” he gave his lips a small kiss as one of his hands soothed up and down his back.

 

A plan formed as he laid there, reassuring him it really was alright.

 

Akira said he wasn't use to being handled gently, so he would get him use to it, slowly over time. It was a good plan, except he was looking at a long time of sexual frustrations. But he would do it for the younger male if it was it took.

 

Yeah... he knew from the beginning that he was going to be wrapped around his cats finger, and it happened sooner then he thought.

 

Not that he was complaining.

 

“Tomorrow, if the weather is good enough, I'll take you riding, alright?”

Akira's ears perked up as his muscles began to relax once more. He was feeling happy though he was just freaking out. He didnt know why he was acting this way. He knew it would bother Sabriel in the end. He closed his eyes listening to the older male talk. He was calming down slowly.

 

He had calmed down enough now that he was purring when Sabriel asked him about riding, "Oh you mean on Star?" He used the nickname he had given the beautiful horse and smiled up at Sabriel. "I would love that. It would be alot of fun...though i think i will miss riding with you sometimes." He blushed and looked off to the side his ears twitching.

 

He didnt want to seem too clingy to Sabriel. He didnt want to just wake up one day and have the bed empty. "I mean...you will let me ride with you sometimes again right?" He asked looking up at his lover with a curious look on his face. He hoped he got a yes instead of a no he was thinking he was going to get. It never bothered Sabriel before that they rode together but maybe that was why he had gotten Akira a pony. To keep Akira busy while he was riding on his own on the big stallion.

Knight gave a small smile when Akira looked up at him with a smile on his face.

 

He gave his head a nod to his question as he kept his hand moving along the younger ones back. He chuckled at his next words and the blush that came to his face when he looked away from him with twitching ears.

 

“Yes Akira. I would let you ride with me sometimes.” he answered his next question. “Laferis is big enough for us both.”

Akira smiled and kissed his lover. "Good. I like riding with you. It is alot of fun. Lets me see around while you steer." He nodded and smiled his tail flicking from side to side. He hadnt forgotten about Sabriels hand on his back which lazily crawled up and down his back making him blush.

 

"So...Laferis is his name." He smiled and played with Sabriels hair. "I always wanted to know his name. He is so pretty. Makes me want to take care of him." He giggled forgetting about the distress he had been feeling and enjoying Sabriels company even though they were stark naked together in bed and if someone walked in Akira would die of embarrassment. His whole back was open for someone to see.

“I thought I told you his name before now...” he said thoughtfully.

 

Soon he got them both under the covers, turning the lights out, pulling the cat close once again so they could continue to talk until they both had fallen asleep.

 

It was early the next morning, the sun just having reached over the horizon when Knight woke like normal. Blinking to completely wake himself, his eyes fell on the rest cat laying against him, like every morning. Silently he laid there watching him as the light increased in the room before he silently slipped away.

 

Getting dressed, he left the room as quietly as possible.

 

Descending the back stairs, it lead him directly to the kitchen. He could smell the food the cooks were preparing for the household, and it made his stomach give a silent growl. He was greeted smell of cinnamon, coffee, and cooked meats. Taking a deep breath he closed in on his cooks as they worked, making them all look up at him for a moment.

 

After talking with them,and stealing one of the cinnamon buns that were taking from the oven, he started gathering food on a tray to take back with him, the bun hanging between his teeth.

 

Well at least that was the plan, until Malachi showed up with an uncomfortable look on his face.

 

Knight stopped what he was doing, removing the bun from his teeth as he watched the other man walk towards him.

Malachi stopped across the table from him and gave him a look that said he wasn't pleased to tell him what he came to tell him

 

“You have company Master.”

Akira woke not soon after Sabriel. He heard the door click and he sighed. He got up and took a shower and changed into a tight leather top that showed off his stomach and back. "Something wrong?"He asked noticeing that some of the men were eyeing him and it pushed him closer to his lover. He saw some of the people whispering and he seemed to be the only one out of the loop. He felt eyes all around them watching. He tugged on the others sleeve lightly whispering so only his lover could hear, "Sabriel...whats going on?" he asked seeing his lover looked uneasy.

Knight looked down at Akira when he felt his sleeve being tugged.

 

Noticing what he was wearing, he almost sighed.

 

The other people were crowding into the kitchen for now, servants of his company there to get breakfast since they had just arrived. Taking the cats hand, he turned for the stairs, taking him along with him. He waited until they were back in his room before he looked back down at he other.

 

“My brothers decided to come and visit.” he told him, looking mildly irritated by the news.

 

Still keeping a hold of the cats hand, he went to their closet “You'll get the chance to meet them, but I don't want you wearing that. Knowing them, they'd try and put their hands on you.”

 

Over the weeks he had gotten the younger male a whole wardrobe, letting him pick out a little more then half. So he chose a pair of black pants, a simple cream shirt that buttoned up the front to his collarbone, a v neck black vest, and a pair of black soft boots to match. This was a comfortable outfit, but good enough to entertain royals in your home.

 

After he had given the clothing to Akira, he too changed in deep gray pants and a black shirt with boots to match.

 

Once he was done, he looked to the cat, taking his hand he sat on the foot of the bed and pulled him down into his lap so that the others back was against his chest.

 

“I have four older brothers. The eldest of us is Arion. He's our fathers heir. Then there are Jasair, second born, Darius, third born, and Adrian. The four of them are downstairs right now. I want them to meet you, but if you get uncomfortable, you can leave the room, alright?”

Akira nodded and smiled, "Okay..." He didnt like the new outfit though it still showed off his collar bone. He looked up at his lover. "Why do i have to change? I liked the other outfit. It was better." He nodded not really wanting to argue. He got up and tugged the others hand. "Lets go then...they are waiting no?" He leaned up on his tip toes kissing Sabriels lips. "I love you. So dont be rude to them okay?" He said touching his cheek.

 

He stopped a moment, "Do they..." He tilted his head, "Do they know about us?" he asked knowing the whole staff knew about it but he didnt know if his lovers familly knew. He didnt mind being introduced as his lover but it would hurt slightly if he didnt know and he was introduced as a servant.

Akira nodded and smiled, "Okay..." He didnt like the new outfit though it still showed off his collar bone. He looked up at his lover. "Why do i have to change? I liked the other outfit. It was better." He nodded not really wanting to argue. He got up and tugged the others hand. "Lets go then...they are waiting no?" He leaned up on his tip toes kissing Sabriels lips. "I love you. So dont be rude to them okay?" He said touching his cheek.

 

He stopped a moment, "Do they..." He tilted his head, "Do they know about us?" he asked knowing the whole staff knew about it but he didnt know if his lovers familly knew. He didnt mind being introduced as his lover but it would hurt slightly if he didnt know and he was introduced as a servant.

Knight got to his feet with Akira's coaxing.

 

He returned the brief kiss to his lips and fought to roll his eyes at the others words about being nice to them. The cat didn't know his brothers like he did. They would push all his buttons to try and get him to lash back, and normally they failed. He hardly lost his temper, but he had a feeling they would have a new target to get the job done.

 

And he was standing right in front of him.

 

“No, they don't know about us yet.” he answered his cats next question. “I'm not exactly close with them Akira. And they aren't always good people to be around. Keep that in mind.”

 

He laced their fingers together before walking towards the door.

 

He walked him down to the main level, and towards the private family room where his four brothers were waiting. He was silent the whole way, Once his brothers leave his home, He knew he'd should expect a visit from his father and his wife, Knight's step-mother, not too long afterwards. The old king would want to see about things for himself.

 

That was a visit he was dreading worse then anything.

 

The two of them did not get along well, and he was in the position of not being an legitimate off spring, so he had to step a little more carefully with the king then his brothers did. Once they reached the door, he opened it and walked inside, with Akira along.

 

His brothers had been speaking, but they stopped when he walked in and their greetings were followed with immediate curiosity.

 

Each of the men in the room looked a lot like their youngest sibling, except a few differences.

 

“This is my eldest brother, prince heir Arion Montross.” he said, stopping before the older man, making sure to introduce him first as he was the highest ranking both in title and age.

 

Arion was a tall handsome man, not as pretty in the face like Knight, but much more mescaline angles. They shared their fathers green eyes, except Arion's were more an emerald, and his hair was a bright blond that made them stand out more.

 

The next he introduced was the second oldest Jasair, he looked much like Arion, except his hair was the same shade as Knight's and the green of his eyes were darker with a brighter green ring at the ends of the irises. He was also the same height and build as Knight.

 

Next was the third born Darius who looked like a cross between Knight and Arion with pael green eyes and bright blond hair.

And lastly was Adrian, He was as pretty as Rei, shorter then his brothers, with the same slender build, jet black hair, and bright blue-green eyes.

 

The entire time they were standing during the introductions, their eyes going to the cats hand in their brothers.

 

As soon as Knight finished speaking, Arion looked at his younger sibling “You've taken a lover then?” he asked, his curiosity clear in his voice and eyes.

 

Knight met his gaze steadily “Yes. This is Akira.”

 

Adrian walked over and smiled at the cat before looking at Knight “He's adorable.” he said before he looked back at Akira.

“He's the second Neko I've seen. The other one was just as cute.”

 

Knight was a little surprised how genuinely friendly his older brother was being, though he didn't let it show as he smiled a little “He is.” he agreed with his brother.

 

If he had Adrian being nice, then this visit wouldn't be so bad.

Akira talked to himself walking down the main halls getting to the room they would meet Sabriels brothers in. When he got closer his voice trailed off not wanting to bother anyone down here. His ears fell back seeing sabriel open the door. He looked inside to see the other men and he was stunned. All were so beautiful and they all looked sorta like Sabriel. Akira flashed his eyes down to the ground before any of the other men could notice he was looking at them.

 

When Sabriel moved and brought Akira over to the brothers introducing them in turn Akira would nod at the men when his lover spoke their name. He smiled lightly happy it was almost over but after the last brother the eldest spoke. Akira's ears flattened hearing that he was Sabriels lover by another man. He didnt like it. He wanted to push his ears back and bare his teeth but he knew he couldnt. When the older male stepped infront of Akira he had to look up into his face just to see him. His ears twitched up hearing his lover comfirm that he was his lover. Akira smiled lightly at the fact Sabriel was open about it.

 

When the oldest moved again and looked down at akira finally the words that came out of his mouth shocked Akira. Sabriel had, had another neko...just like him. His ears went flat and his hand loosened its hold on his lovers. He didnt like that. He knew that Sabriel wouldnt be a virgin but he still thought he was the only neko he had been with. It made him feel special. Akira let his hand go and put it with the other hand that he had at his side. Was he just a toy for Sabriel? Just a small lover among many? Akira wanted the answers. He sighed so light only the eldest would be able to really hear it. He didnt want to be mad at Sabriel but he kinda was. He didnt know why the fact that him calling another neko cute...made Akira want to slap him.

 

He liked being number one...better than all the rest to someone. And he knew that Sabriel most likely didnt love him anyway. Just a toy till he gets a real lover. The one he can marry and have children to inharit the country with. With him....he would get none of that. Akira was now depressed slightly but he smiled anyway his ears staying flat but at least he looked slightly happy to be there, though almost everyone there could see through it and they all knew what made him sad.

 

"Nice to meet you." He said bowing slightly, "I'm Akira..." He said straightening out. "Excuse my bad manners I have been neglecting the fact I am a lower-class and have treated the Higher-classes with less respect....so please i ask that you bare with me and my bad manners. I will try and correct them." He said his ears falling back looking at the oldest talking to him more than anyone else for he was the highest in status.

Arion only smiled faintly at the neko, “You've done nothing to apologize for.” he told him.

 

Knight was a bit confused as to why Akira was upset. He could tell even if his brothers couldn't. He took his hand again, looking to his brothers.

 

“I'll return in a few moments.” he said before he walked out the room, taking the cat with him.

 

He walked down the hall after closing the door. Three doors down he opened another and walked into a empty sitting room. Once they were enclosed in the room, he looked down at the younger male.

 

“What's wrong?” he asked him concerned.

 

He wasn't sure what brought on his words or the change in mood, but he wanted to talk about it now instead of waiting.

Akira surprise waved at the eldest growing slightly fond of him already not even really knowing him. He looked over his shoulder his tail flicking lightly. He followed his lover slipping his hands behind his back when he got back his hands from the other male. "I-I am just upset." He said looking down.

 

He didn't want to tell him that he had been upset about the fact he had another neko before him.

 

"Well, do you know that neko's are very...well they get jealous super fast. I mean, finding out their lover had another neko before them...it's horrible." He said shaking his head at the other male. "I wished to be your only one but it seems I'm nothing special. Just a neko you took in probably like the other 'cute' neko you brought in. I hate. Being the only one in love." He said pushing past Sabriel walking out of the room a tear falling.

Knight was completely confused by the cats words, but he reacted quickly.

 

He strode towards the door, his longer legs catching up to the younger one fast. He wrapped an arm around his waist and lifted him off his feet, moving back into the room they had just left. He used his free hand to close and lock it, taking the key out of the door.

 

Not letting the cat go until he walked across the room he put him down on the couch.

 

Looking down at him with a slight frown, he crossed his arms over his chest.

 

“When did I say I had another neko before?” he asked him. “I seem to remember my telling you, you were the first I ever met in person. Am I now a liar?”

[Arekushisu]

Akira shrieked Lightly feeling his feet come off the ground. He sighed feeling the couch under his body. He knew his lover and knew he would rather have this done now than later.

 

"W-well, just now your brother said I was just as cute as the other one. And that this was the second neko he had seen. And you agreed that he was cute. So you have seen another and you can say that in just as cute as the other one." He said letting in air finally after the long talking. He looked down ashamed knowing he most likely just misread it. He wipes the years on his face. It was sad really, a 19 year old boy crying over this. He knew he was keeping the brothers and knew Sabriel was being a bad host.

 

"There. I told you. Now your brothers are waiting and I honestly think we should get back. They are higher ranks than both you and I. I wouldn't want to keep them waiting." He said looking around the room seeing dusty picture frames and other long forgotten things.

Knight listened to what the younger male had to say, and he moved to sit beside him when he was done talking.

 

“I wasn't agreeing that the other neko was cute. I was agreeing that you were.” he said reaching up to turn the cats face to him, wiping away the tears.

 

When he was done he met his eyes “If you were the first I met, how could I agree with him about the other one?” he reasoned.

 

He gave him a small smile “Try and control that jealousy streak ok? I haven't lied to you, and I won't lie to you. I'm not using you. I don't have any plans to get rid of you. And I do care about you. You're not the only one that feels something here.”

 

Leaning in he gave him a brief kiss on the lips “Is everything alright now?”

Akira listened to the other before he nodded lightly closing his eyes faintly at the feel of the others lips. "I'm okay....we should get back." He said sighing and standing up wiping his eyes. He took the others hand and nodded smiling lightly, "I'm fine...lets go though." He said pulling on the others helping him up and opened the door walking with him hand in hand. He looked up at Sabriel and opened the door his ears back looking at the eldest, "I'm sorry...i dont know what came over me...just light headed is all." He said flashing a smile that was full of happiness. He pulled his lover into the room behind him and he shut the door. His tail flicked around playfully finding its spot around his lovers leg before letting go and going around Akira's own waist.

The brothers were all seated around the table in the family room together.

 

Arion gave a small smile at them both “Good to hear things are alright. Come and join us, breakfast was just served.” he said.

 

The table was filled with platters and trays of all kinds of food. Knight lead the cat to the table, and sat him down first with himself on one side and Adrian on the other. He began to make the younger males plate as Adrian turned his attention to the cat.

 

“So, Akira. How did you meet Sabriel?” he asked curiously.

 

Knight didn't interrupt. He hated being called Sabriel, but for some reason it didn't bother him when Akira said it. But out of all his brothers, he knew Adrian didn't do it so much out of spite like the others. It was just the name he had always called him by, and therefore, a habit.

 

Out of the four of them, Adrian was the one he could say he liked.... at least a little more then the others.

Akira looked at the food around him and he smiled. The chef always did an amazing job and this time was no exeption. Akira's tail flicked between him and Sabriel's chair like it always did sometimes it would get weird and flick closer to Adrian. He jumped lightly his ears falling back at the question. He thought about it a moment then spoke after drinking some water.

 

"Um...Karen...one of the maids. She found me...and I didnt have a home...so they brought me here...made sure the master of the home wanted me to stay of course, for a little work." He shrugged lightly looking up at the eldest. "Now I'm here. I uh...used to be passed around from master to master...guess i have finally found one that acctually likes me back." He giggled softly thinking about it. He didnt say anything knowing another question was coming so he just waited patiantly taking small bites of the food here and there.

Knight listened to Akira's answers to the question his brother asked of him while he was making his own plate after making the cats.

 

He could tell the others were listening, but as of yet, only Adrian was asking anything so far.

 

The prince gave his head a small nod at the answer he received with a small smile at the others giggle.

 

“I see.” he said “ That life couldn't have been easy. How long have the two of you been together then? The last time we spoke, you didn't mention anyone new in your life Sabriel.”

 

Knight's attention went to his older brother “At the time I hadn't met Akira, Adrian. Karen found him two days after I had gotten back from my trip to the capitol. He's been here just over a month already.”

 

Darius gave small tilt to his head as he looked to his youngest sibling “That's not very long at all. I just assumed that it had been longer.” he explained.

 

“Just over a week.” Knight replied to Darius. “So no, not very long at all.”

 

The older man gave his head a nod “Well maybe he can keep you from being so cranky then.”

Knight quirked a brow at him “Since when am I cranky?”

 

“Always” the three younger princes answered all at once, leaving the eldest chuckling.

 

“Now guys. Be fair.” Arion said “We do tend to give him a hard time when we're together. It's only natural to be irritated.”

 

“And yet you all insist on coming to see me.” Knight responded.

 

Jasair chuckled “You're our brother. It's our job to irritate you.”

 

“Yes.. what was I thinking?” Knight asked with an eye roll before he took a bite from his food.

 

The other men at the table all grinned at him.

Akira heard the brothers go into an argument that wasnt hateful at all and was acctually very funny. It took everything in him not to want to smile or laugh. After they were done eating, Knight showed his brothers to rooms where they could get comfortable, before going out to check on the weather.

 

The snow was holding off, and the sun was bright with very little wind. It was great to go out in. Heading into the kitchen, he got the cook to make a light lunch he could carry with them, sent word to the stables before he went looking for the cat.

 

He had promised him a ride on hie new horse, so they were going to do exactly that.

 

His brothers were no strangers here, they knew the rules and they had plenty to do to entertain themselves with. Once he found him, he made sure that they both were dressed for the cold, taking extra covering in case it snowed before they could get back.

 

Their next stop was the kitchen, then the stables. Knight helped Akira mount Star Gazer and secured the fur lined wrap around them both before he climbed on his own horse and did the same.

 

Soon they were riding out together.

Akira touched the soft mane of Star Gazer and smiled, "Thanks...for taking me out." He said slipping the reins into his hands looking over at Sabriel as he got onto his horse. "But, arent your brothers coming with us?" He asked just for politness but really he hadnt had a free moment with just him and Sabriel. He hadnt even gotten a kiss today let alone anything else. He looked ahead of them and moved his reins so his horse would face Sabreil. The animal under him moving and breathing reminded him of the old days. He remembered his father helping him ride a horse for the first time. Then after they passed away he kept it up going out to the stables during the day and taking care of the animals at night for cash.

 

He wondered where Sabriel would take him, Into town, around the city, just into the meadows? He didnt know. But he wanted it just to be the two of them because he had missed his lover all day. Even though he was right next to him it was still like he wasnt there for the fact we didnt kiss or hug or do anything infront of the brothers. It pushed a thought into Akiras mind that Sabriel was ashamed of him. Or didnt want others knowing the relationship they had. His ears fell flat as his mind rushed with new thoughts following this one.

“You're welcome.” he replied with a smile of his own as they rode out of the stables.

 

“No.” Knight answered “It's just us. They will take care of themselves.”

 

He kept Laferis in a slow walk so that the cat and his smaller mare walked along side him. He noticed the younger male had become quiet, and that could only mean he was thinking on something. The longer he spent with Akira, the more he tended to talk, so when he was silent, he learned that it meant he was lost in that mind of his, and his body language was a dead give away.

 

Like the flattening of his ears, the way his tail would just hang down, or wrap around himself. He'd also get the very telling glisten to his eyes as if his thoughts would make him cry.

 

“What are you thinking about?” Knight asked curiously after a few moments. “Normally you're pretty talkative.”

Akira jumped lighlty hearing his lovers voice. "I-i'm sorry...I was just lost in thought." He said hearing him ask a question and he sighed, "I was wondering if you were taking me somewhere...where it will just be me and you. Or if you were taking me to town." He said blushing lightly his ears perking up his tail finding its way around his waist.

 

"I have missed you all day...your brothers have been around you the whole time and not to mention i havent had a kiss all day." He said pouting. He knew he was clingy and he knew that Sabriel would get tired of him quickly. "I would...just want to spend some time with you before we go back. He found the pouting amusing, but he knew better then to let that show, so instead he decided to indulge his cat.
