Akira was hit with the truth, he was beign clingy. "I'm sorry...not like you have to see me every minute of the day. You have more important things to do." He said looking down making the horse under him walk slighlty faster. "You are very busy, I get that, Just i miss you during the days that i cant see you. I sit up in our room till you come back to me." He said looking up at his knight. "The only person to really talk to is Rei or Karen. I love them both but i want to be with you more." He said blushing darkly up at his master. He felt the pendant on his chest bounce with the movement of the horse and it made him look away and smile softly. He loved his collar. He played with it more than anything else he had. He loved wearing low enough shirts for the necklace to dangle between his collarbones and make a twinkle as he walked. He remembered one having a bell but this collar was much better just like its master is too. Akira giggled softly under his breath blushing to himself.

Knight listened to the cat talk until he fell silent once again.

 

“True, I don't have to see you every minute, and I am normally busy. But I make time for you do I not? Not to mention, you have a whole house of people that you can speak to, so you don't even need to wait for me in our room.” he said as his horse easily moved to walk along his.

 

“And I told you, unless I am in a meeting or away for the day, you are welcomed to come and see me in the office. Sometimes I could use the interruption, so I wouldn't mind if you did.”

 

When the large boulder on the side of the tree lined road came into view, Knight took a left turn off onto a smaller path between the trees. After a few more minuets, the trees broke around a clearing. There was a one room cabin just off to the left of the path, and beyond it was a tall rock face going off into the air. The trees surrounded them, cutting off the view so that it was just the two of them.

 

Knight turned towards the cabin and off to it's side where a large lean to stall waited for the horses. He stopped and dismounted then helped Akira down as well. After unpacking everything he brought with them, he saw to the horses before he handed the basket of food to the younger male as he grabbed everything else.

 

Moving to the cabin door, he opened it and let Akira walk inside first.

 

The cabin was large enough to have a large bed, the base of which was built into the floor, a large fireplace on the opposite wall, a small table with chairs, and a small sofa before the hearth. The interior was dim and cold at the moment since there wasn't any heat source.

 

Closing the door behind them, Knight placed what he was carrying at the foot of the bed, and moved to the fireplace, where already cut wood was stacked next to the stones. In moments he had a fire blazing and stood up turning to the cat.

 

“I come here when I want to get away from the house.” he told him as he walked across the room towards the bed. “There's something in the back I think you'll enjoy.”

 

He looked to him as he stood at the foot of the bed “Can you swim?”

Akira walked around following Sabriel as his eyes were on the cabin. He looked around the cabin his ears perking up as he heard the word swim. "Yea. I can swim. Whats in the back?" He asked walking to Sabriel looking up at him. He was hoping it would be something worth it. He didnt want to come all this way for no fun. He yawned lighlty not really knowing why, his ears fell flat as he did so looking around seeing out the windows. Though he couldnt see anything out of the back. His stomach growled softly and it made him blush. Instead of waiting for an answer he walked over to him and he leaned up kissing Sabriel softly. "Can we have lunch or soemthing to eat first?" He asked softly feeling his lips on his lovers his tail flicking around to find Sabriel's thigh. A small purr escaped his lips and he blushed just happy to be with his lover again.

Knight wrapped his arms around the cats waist when the younger male kissed him.

 

“Yes, we can eat now.” he answered as the cats tail brushed against his thigh.

 

He let him go, and picked up a blanket and the basket before walking to the fireplace. It was warmer there since the fire hadn't heated the rest of the cabin as of yet. He sat down after spreading the blanket over the cold floor, and began to unpack the basket.

 

Sliced roasted beef, bread that already been cut and buttered, kept warm by a brick at the bottom of the basket, the fruit salad and jug of wine was separated by being wrapped in a leather cloth. Small dishes were left at the bottom under the wine and fruit, along with a small crook of honey. There was more then enough of the food to last them until dinner.

 

Once he had everything out, he made the cat a plate first and handed it to him.

 

“I know you are curious as to why I asked you if you could swim, and when we finish eating, I'll show you.”

Akira sat down across from Sabriel and smiled watching him make his plate. He was handed it and he nodded softly setting it beside hiim waiting for Sabriel. "So...there is something that involves swmming?" He asked dipping his finger in the honey pulling it out and lickign it. His ears and tail moved happily his tail stayed out of the food thankfully and his ears didnt move too much for they only twitched here and there.

 

He smiled happily humming softly watching Sabriel move around. His cheeks were red from the chill in the room but he was getting warmer by the minute. He dipped his finger in the honey again liking the taste of it. "Sabriel...why did your brothers come over today?" He asked thoughtfully more to himself than anything but he spoke his thought aloud instead of keeping them in. He was wondering if his parents were coming over. Cause the brothers already knew about them so does the parents right? Or do they not know Sabriel has a lover yet.

Knight gave a small hymn as he finished what he was chewing before he answered.

 

“They tend to visit once in a while. I never know when they will just show up since they take pleasure in just dropping by any time they feel like seeing me. I think they do it out of boredom.” he said before he continued eating.

 

When they were done, and cleaned up after themselves, Knight got up and went to the chest at the bottom of the bed. Opening it he reached in and pulled out two folded robes, one red and the other a deep green.

 

Standing up he turned to the cat, “We're going out, but you have to undress first.” he told him, dropping the robes onto the bed.

Akira nodded and they slipped into a silence that wasnt anything new. they usually never talked when they ate because it was acctually really good that they were both stuffing their faces with food instead of talking.

 

When they finished Akira helped clean up and smiled sitting on the edge of the bed waiting for Sabriel to show him the back. When he pulled out the robes he blushed softly at his statment. "W-why do i need to get undressed? I dont want to go out, naked." His ears flattened and he blushed looking at his lover confused.

 

He sighed lighlty though trusting his lover, "fine...nevermind you wont tell me." He smiled, "secret ne?" He tilted his head his ears perking back up as he pulled off his shirt easily.

Knight said nothing when the cat protested, he just waited patiently.

 

It wasn't like he had seen him naked before. Not like he hadn't touched him before either, so he saw no reason for the other to be shy all of a sudden. Except, it was cold as hell outside, so he could understand his reluctance on that part.

 

He returned the smile and a nod of his head when he was asked if it was a secret. “For now.” he told him.

Then he began to undress.

 

He was never shy about his body. He kept himself in perfect fit condition, so there was nothing for him to hide. Once he was done, he put on the red robe, and held out the other for the cat when he was done undressing. He chuckled because the robe was one of his, so it was ridiculously large on the younger male.

 

“Come one.” he said as he took his hand, grabbing a fur blanket off the bed.

 

He walked across the room towards the back door. Opening it, he turned and lifted the cat off his feet, and carried hm through the snow that was laid out on the ground. They went through a patch of tress that hide the view of the very back from view from the cabin.

 

Through the trees, was an clearing and a cliff wall that went up past the tree tops. And smack in the middle, surrounded by the tall trees, was a large pool of water. It was clear, fifteen feet across and wide. Steam rose from the surface of the water and the warmth could be felt as soon as Knight walked from the small tree lined path.

 

Stopping at the bank, Knight dropped the fur to the ground, then put Akira down, letting him stand on it.

 

“This is the surprise.” he told him. “I never brought anyone else here. It was my mothers and I get away, when she was alive that is.”

 

He turned the cat to face him “Ready to get in?” he asked as he untied the belt around his waist.

Akira looked at the water and smiled taking Sabriels hand in his own kissing his chest. "I love you...thanks so much!" He said hugging him tightly before dropping the robe off easily. He shiverd softly from the chill and looked at the water. "Is it hot? Or just warm?" He asked not wanting to step in and get burned from it.

 

He steped his foot into the water feeling it. "You always came here?" He asked softly looking up at Sabriel. "Will you help me down...how deep is it? " askes looking down into the dark water. he didnt know but it looked more than five feet deep. Which was about his height. He yawned lighlty his eyes falling down on his cheeks. He let Sabriel after lowering himself down pick him up and set him in the water next to him. "Ah..." He said softly as the warm water touched his muscles.

“It gets deeper the further in you go.” Knight explained “The deepest is about seven and a half feet. That's why I asked if you can swim.”

 

He sighed and settled himself against the wall of the pool. The part where they were seated was only three feet deep, and the water was indeed hot, but not enough to burn. It was a great stress relief and he needed one with the thought of his brothers waiting for him at home.

 

But seeing Akira enjoying the hot spring as well made the trip more then worth it.

 

He wrapped an arm around the smaller males waist and pulled him into his lap so he could lean into him and place his back against his chest. Lowering his head, he placed soft kisses on the cats neck and shoulder as he encircled him with both his arms.

Akira smiled lighlty and he slipped his tail around his lovers forearm. He felt the kisses rain down his neck and he moved his head to the side giving him more room. He smiled lighlty a shiver running down his back even though he wasnt cold. He started to purr easily and his ears moved back and forth to the sounds of Sabriel moving.

 

"Hn...thanks for bringing me along." He said a blush raining over his cheeks. "its nice. I like it." He said softly as he leaned back into Sabriel's chest. He could feel the other males bare skin under his own yet he didnt feel weirded out by it. They had layed together for many nights just fresh out of the shower. He was used to the gentle hands that lay on his stomach now. He was used to the soft kisses that were peppered on his neck. He had gotten somewhat used to the fact Sabriel wasnt going to hurt him and that he wasnt going to leave him or throw him out either.

Knight lifted his head and placed his chin on the cats shoulder.

 

“You're welcome.” he said to his thanking him.

 

He closed his eyes once again, listening to Akira's purring, it helped calm him, and with the heat from the water around them, he felt all of the tension leaving his body. After this, he was thinking a nice nap by the fire place would be a good thing. He could pull the mattress from the bed to make it more comfortable for them both.

 

Liking this idea, opened his eyes again. One hand coming up to Akira's jaw and tilting his head back so he could meet his eyes.

 

“How would you like to take a nap in front of the fire after this? We could even spend the night here if you want.” that thought was rather appealing as well.

Akira let his lover tilt back his head and he locked his eyes onto Sabriels lips to watch him talk. He liked the idea of sleeping over here tonight. It was nice and quiet. And not to mention he didnt have to worry about all the maids and stuff bugging them. He smiled when Sabriel was done talking, "That would be awesome. I'm up for that." he said turning around in Sabriel's arms to sit sideways to see him easily. "I really dont want to go home cause your brothers are there...they never let us just talk to each other." He said pouting lightly as his fingers made circles on Sabriels' chest. He was purring still and his ears were up and he was happy he was relaxed and happy. He leaned against his lover. "I wanna stay tonight." He said looking up at Sabriel.

Leaning forward, Knight kissed the cat's lips lightly before pulling back enough to look down at him.

 

“Alright.” he said with a small smile “We'll stay here.”

 

He wrapped his arms around the other when he leaned into him, one of his hands stroking up and down his back. To spend one night where he didn't have to be up early, and his brothers wouldn't try and barge into his room before he woke, well at least the three younger ones that is. Their eldest brother would never do such a thing.

 

He'd send the others to do it.

 

And it made Akira happy, so he was more then nappy to do it. Silently, he sat there, eyes closed enjoying having the cat against him, the hot water, and the sounds of the forest around them.

Akira slowly started to fall asleep. He leaned his head on the others shoulder and closed his eyes thinking about the air around them and the sights and smells. He kissed sabriels neck softly, "I'm about to fall asleep...i think we have been in here too long." He said after about an hour or so of soaking in the warm water.

 

He helped Sabreil up out of the water and he huddled up against him slipping the robe back on following him to the house. He looked at him through the corner of his eye. He didnt hate that sabriel was holding out on him with the whole sex thing. But Akira for some reason wanted Sabriel to touch him. He opened the cabin door and smiled softly pulling the robe down looking at Sabriel. "Do you want to take a shower before we lay down?" He said looking at him and walking to the bathroom. He knew that they had just relaxed but a shower seemed nice. He turned on the water and waited for sabriel patiantly.

“I'll be there in a moment.” Knight said before he picked up the cats robe.

 

Tossing it over the arm of the small couch, he moved to the bed. He moved all the pillows and bedding before he dragged the heavy mattress from the wooden base, and pulled it to rest before the fireplace. Dropping the bed onto the floor, he remade it, then built the fire up again to warm the cabin, closing the grate after he was done.

 

Once he was done, he made his way to the bathroom, and slipped in behind Akira.

 

Taking the soap, he began to lather it on in his hands before he began to wash his cat, starting with his back, running massaging circles with just the right amount of pressure as he cleaned the others skin. He moved up to his shoulders, the back of his neck, around his sides, down to his hips before slipping around to his stomach, and up to his chest, pressing the others back along the length of his torso.

Akira was slightly nervous as he stood in the shower waiting for his lover. He let the water run over him and his ears fell back not liking the water in them. His tail slipped around his waist as he ran his hands through his hair. He felt his lovers arms go around him and he jumped lightly. As Sabriel started washing him for some reason the act was more intense that usaul. It made Akira blush and a deep purr escape his throut as he leaned back into his lover. As his chest was rubbed he leaned his head to the side and sighed happily the feeling of his lovers hands making him relax. He couldnt really though for the fact he was more aware then ever of all of sabriel's hands. He felt all of him expesually his back which was pressed against the others torso. He let out a soft whimper as sabriel cleaned his hips and chest. He was sensitive and didnt know why.

 

His eyes shot open and he looked up at sabriel. "What season is it?" He asked thinking of his kitty self he would go into heat soon and he wanted to be far far away from Sabriel when that happened but maybe it was closer than he thought. The fact he was clinging to Sabriel all day today and now making him clean him in the shower and his body super sensitive to touch. He blushed dakly. "What night is it?" he asked konwing that Sabriel knew he was blushing cause his ears were hot and the tips were probably red along with his neck. He sighed hoping it wasnt mating season if it was he would need to find a mate or he would become sexually frustrated and just any touch would make him moan. l

Knight looked down at the younger male in his arms.

 

“It's the twenty ninth of December. Two days before the new year. Why?” he asked curiously at the end.

 

The cats actions and questions made him wonder what problem there was that he wasn't aware of. His blushing had him wondering if he felt this was being too intimate, considering what happened the night before.

 

He closed his arms around him so the cat couldn't get away from him.

 

“What's wrong now?” he asked him, frosty green eyes boring into his intently. “And don't tell me nothing or try to avoid the question.”

Akira looked into his lovers eyes and he blushed darker looking off to the side his ears falling flat and his tail moving nervously. "W-well...you see us neko...have a time of year, And it varies for each person." He looked everywhere but Sabriel, "Um....Mine, sadly, is around the end of december to mid january...then i have another mid spring to fall. Its a sad thing reallly,,,it is when us neko must find a mate." He said blushing darkly. He leaned against the wall of the shower letting the water cool him off. "Every touch, from the one we love and or wish to mate with, will make us very excited. Acctually any touch really, even if it is just on your cheek it is like someone sleepign with you." He said looking up at Sabriel finally. "I'm going into heat." he said and blushed darker than before.

Knight was silent for a few moments after the cat finished explaining.

 

He had read something on this before when his teachers had made him study about other races on their planet. It hadn't crossed his mind until just it was mentioned. Though he suddenly recalled everything he had read back then.

So his little neko was going to become an insatiable, sex craving maniac.

 

For reasons he was sure was rather obvious, that didn't bother him in the least...

 

Except one part.

 

Mating.

 

If he wasn't mistaken, that was an indefinite commitment. But it was best to make sure. Knowing Akira, talking about this later would only make him uncomfortable, so he pulled him closer again.

 

Wrapping his arms around him, he looked down at him, meeting his gaze.

 

“Tell me, what does mating entails?”

Akira looked up at Sabriel feeling his arms around him again making him blush. "M-mating is...where a neko goes and fines a lover and or another neko...to...concieve a child." He said looking away from him. "And I havent ever mated before. Dont want to." He said looking back up at him.

 

"Also being mated is a lifetime thing until both parties wish it to be broken. Then its a split and ruined. As for me, When i am in heat, because i do not mate I am worse than others. Meaning that if a neko doesnt mate any touch or any words may set him/her off if it is something sexual or not. Just like cuddling it would make the most crazed neko release without any sexual actions being made." He said playing with sabriel's hair as he thought.

 

"I...dont think a mate is needed to be happy. It is looked down apon for a neko to mate with another male...Its only female neko's that we can mate with. That is why I havent done it yet. I feel that i have love and that i dont need to be bound by words and a season.." He said looking up at his lover. "That...and I just havent found the right person yet. That i feel i can give myself to like that. Let them be my mate." He ssaid blushing darkly. He hated explaining this but Sabriel needed to know what he was in for if he was going into heat.

 

He pressed up against him, "Oh...and we will try to get our lover and or partner excited all the time...Its usually the neko during this time that start the sex." He giggled softly nuzzling his lovers neck. "Happily though mine is just starting meaning i'm not needing sex yet. THough it will come around where its going to be staying in the bedroom all the time for me cause i cant not want to jump you." He giggled again kissing his lovers neck softly.

 

Okay maybe he wanted it now? He didnt know but he was open now and used to sabriel's touch unlike anyother. It was the one touch that he would recognize anywhere. He felt the water going over them both and he yawned softly the warmth making him sleepy. He still needed to wash sabriel though. Which could be interesting. He giggled to himself and his ears twitched and his tial swayed lazily. Neko were usaully happy during this time nothing really bringing them down.

Knight gave his head a nod at the other explanation.

 

Seeing the cats yawn, he decided to get their shower over with, so he began to wash him again. When they were both fully clean, he got them out and dried before he took his hand and lead the smaller male to the bed before the fire.

 

Since he hadn't really planned on staying the night, they had to sleep completely nude, not that it bothered him in the least. After they were under the thick furs used as blankets, he pulled the other against him, stroking his back gently, from the nape of his neck to the base of his tail, his palm following the contour of his spine.

 

“You can sleep now it you like.” he told him lowly, looking down at him from his propped position.

Akira blushed nuzzling his lovers neck as he felt his arms going down his back making him blush and shiver. He blushed darker snuggling up to him, "I'm tired...the season's changing are making me sleepy." He said looking up at his lover licking his lips softly in a form of a kiss. he closed his eyes resting his head on his lovers chest ready to fall asleep. "Sabriel...I wasnt kidding about the going into heat thing, Its going to happen soon...just letting you know." He said sleepily as he shut his eyes fully and dozed off into a deep sleep with his lover next to him, a few fur blankets, and a fire before him.

Slowly, Knight too drifted off to sleep.

 

He woke when the fire died and Akira and he were very close together, sharing body heat against the cold of the cabin. It was too cold to fall back to sleep, so he pried free of the cats grip around him, his body immediately shivering in the frigged air.

 

Working quickly in the dark, he got the flames in the hearth back to roaring, placing more then enough wood to keep it burning for a few more hours, before he closed the grate and climbing into the furs once again.

 

The next time he opened his eyes, the fire was low, but still burning and the sky outside was just turning gray.

 

Once again, he got up and rebuilt the fire before placing the food near the heat, enough to get warmed by the time they were ready to get up. He climbed back into the furs, pulling the cat close to him to help warm up while the fire worked to warm the room.

 

After that he dozed, half awake and half asleep until the morning light finally decided to be too bright to block out anymore. The fire was still high, and he was more then warm enough not to want to move. So he stayed where he was, waiting for the cat to wake next.

Akira remembered some of the night. He remembered telling Sabriel that he was going into heat and that he would be a crazed sex maniac. then he told hm that he needed sleep and fell asleep on him. In the middle of the night akira felt the warmth leave him making him shift before he moved and whimpered softly in his sleep. The warmth came back and he smield snuggling up to it closly as if not to get cold. This happened three times durning the night the first one was the only one that akira could really remember.

 

Akira woke to the sound of the morning. The sun shining through the windows and himself pushed against sabriel. He yawned looking next to him seieng sabriel laying there. He smiled softly and purred softly his tial flicking around his lovers leg. He nuzzled his cheek and licked it. "Sabriel." He said softly.
