The idea of checking on Fredric had not occurred to Glen until Kyo's question. His mind was still attempting to perceive his surroundings - Where is he? What was that? What had he been doing? It was almost as if the shock had made him temporarily brain-dead.

Kyo's voice, though, quickly reminded him of everything, including the ruined situation, and the lost opportunity. Glen turned to Kyo, pale-faced. The fright still showed in his face, but he managed to smile a sweet smile, "No. I will see what happened. You stay there." He reached out, and briefly ruffled Kyo's hair affectionately, before heading towards the bathroom to see if everything was alright for Fredric.

A few steps from the bathroom he saw Fredric walking out, soaked from hair to toe, carrying a bucket filled with water.

"You're not going to get Kyo cleaned in that condition, are you?" he asked, not meaning it as a question, but more of a statement for Fredric to realize that he was being foolish.

Kyo had kind of expected the response he got from Glen, he wasn't in any state to go anywhere anyway. The hand in his hair felt strange though, it was only there briefly but it was unexpected and unnerving, some of the first positive human contact he had had in many years. It wasn't like the neutral touches of those trying to help him, it was a touch that conveyed positive feelings and it was strange to him.

As Glen left the room he tried to figure out what had just been happening, but he couldn't, he had no experience in positive situations and certainly not in situations that seemed so... intense. He tried to figure it out while the other two were out of the room.

Fredric stopped and looked up on Glen surprised to see him there. "Why? is there something wrong?" he asked with a worried tone. Did something happen that he had missed? The fact that he was all wet was so obvious to him so he didn't even care about it at the moment. "And of course I won't clean him up like this... But I need to get me some new cloths first." he explained with a smile as he tried to walk past Glen.

His cloths and all the towels was at the moment in the bedroom and Fredric wanted to be fast so he didn't have to make a wet trail on the floor. But it was already to late for that not to happen anyway. But still he didn't want to leave a flood after himself.

Fredric could not pass any further than where he met Glen, who physically blocked him from advancing any further into the bedroom, and from bringing with him a cascade of river. Glen gave Fredric a displeased look.

"Here, I'll take the bucket," offered Glen, "Dry yourself."

He would not take no for an answer, and immediately seized the bucket from Fredric's hand to avoid any back-and-forth with the filled bucket. Glen's eyes flickered briefly as he held the bucket in his hand. A thought seemed to have presented itself, as quick as lightning, into that mayhem of a mind.

"You might also want to undress here. Right here," he said. His grey eyes explored Fredric's face teasingly. "A river in the bedroom isn't a very good idea, Fredric," added Glen casually.

Glen had stopped Fredric just outside the bedroom and the door was still open enough for Kyo to hear the conversation between them. From what he could tell Glen had now taken the bucket off Fredric and there was something about a river. Did Fredric get soaked then? Maybe the bucket was full when the noise happened.

"You might also want to undress here. Right here, A river in the bedroom isn't a very good idea, Fredric," The voice carried into the room, words causing an impressive blush to rise. Kyo wondered what Glen was trying to do desperate to understand, he was also interested to see where it would go. He would never say this to their faces, but they were the best two people he had met in a long time, he didn't know if it was the injuries talking or he was actually starting to trust them... despite the massive invasion of personal space from Glen.

Fredric was surprised when Glen snatched away the bucket from him. He was about to make a complain about it but could see that is was no idea to even try it. He let his gaze break free from Glen as the other told him to undress on the spot. "Fine." he whispered with a bit of a recalcitrant tone in his voice. But he still started to unbutton his shirt as he knew that Glen did have a good point in preventing any more water on the floor in the house.

He only opened the top buttons and then with a steady movement pulled the shirt over his head and looked at Glen. "Do you mind to toss me a towel and some dry cloths from the cloth cabins in there." he said and nodded towards the bedroom. "I promise I won't move from this spot..." Fredric's pride was a bit shaken, not that he cared that much. But still, this situation was starting to be ridiculous.

While Fredric was busy with his buttons, Glen stood there watching; his eyes were focused on Fredric's fingers as they worked the buttons out of the button holes. Glen said nothing. One button. The space ahead of him seemed to waiver, and the fingers and buttons blurred. Two buttons. He heard the distinct ring in his head. That voice. That timbre. That rhythm. So close in time. Three buttons. The voice... Then Fredric pulled the shirt over his head. Glen was still silent, and positioned as before.

"Do you mind to toss me a towel and some dry cloths from the cloth cabins in there."

Fredric's voice broke his spiralling mind. He looked at Fredric, and rolled his eyes. Helping others was not what he was most interested in. In fact, if he could help it, he would not do it, and for that matter, if he could not help it, he would try to worm his way out of it. However, he could not help it now, and for some reason he did not feel like worming his way out of it.

"Yes, no moving," he said, somewhat displeased, as he turned away to get the towel and clean clothes.

He headed back to the bedroom. It was not the clothes cabin that he went to first, but the bed. He placed the bucket next to the bed where it could be readily seen and not be accidentally kicked over. No more mess. He hated mess.

"Your dear doctor caught himself up in a mess," said Glen to Kyo as he placed the bucket down, "Just be patient for a little while, and try not to die." He chuckled. He thought it was funny that Fredric, in the act of trying to not waste time, caused a huge mess, wasting even more time than if he tried to do things at a normal pace. If Kyo was terminally ill, he would be dead by now.

"Just a second," he winked at Kyo. He went to the clothes cabin, and retrieved a towel, and whatever article of clothings he first saw before returning to where he left Fredric.

Glen had walked into the room with the bucket, but no Fredric had followed him. The bucket was placed by the side of the bed and he was told to be patient, like he had a choice, though he was slightly upset that there would be no naked Fredric walking into the room to dress himself. WAIT... WHAT!!!!! no no no no no not upset.... that would imply i care about him. Despite his internal panic he caught the wink as Glen picked some clothes and then left the room.

Why was it he had this insane urge to return the wink... he didn't know, but he knew he needed to be careful or he may find himself caught up in something he couldn't escape from. Or didn't want to escape from, he didn't know which would be worse.

Fredric was left as he was and waited for Glen's return of a towel and some dry cloths. Fredric couldn't help but feel embaressed as hi stood there shirtless. He gave the cat Champ a glare as he sneaked up beside him. "I blame you for this time." He said and croched down to pet the black cat. "But I guess we both should be more careful."

As he sat there and stroke Champ time after time he couldn't help but wonder about both Kyo and Glen. And when Glen came back with some new cloths and the blessed towel he looked up with a insecure smile.

"I just realized why did you come over here? Was it just Buster's barking?" He asked and gazed at Champ as he left him there on the floor in front of a neatly dressed stranger.

Glen handed Fredric the towel, the clothes still in his hands; there was no sense in handing the clothes to Fredric, he would not be able to dry himself, and at the same time hold on to them, and moreover, he was wet from top to bottom.

His gaze was fixed on Champ as well when Fredric asked him the question. But he was watching to ensure that the space between the cat and himself was kept. Glen shrugged, and with a slightly sad smile said, "Yes, Buster." He wondered where Buster was, and it made him somewhat guilty that he chose Kyo over Buster. He will surely choose Buster the next time the chance comes up.

"The guy's waiting to death in the bedroom," said Glen, "He's probably lonely. We should return to his side."

"Hey i heard that..... why would i be lonely." They couldn't have heard him though, he still couldn't speak loudly so he may as well have been talking to himself. "I mean, i've survived for years alone why would i be lonely now, just because two people who are acting nice aren't in the room..." He glanced up towards the door to make sure they hadn't walked in yet then sighed leaning his head back against the wall, staring intently at the ceiling. "Don't get attached Kyo..."

He wanted to get up, to find out how badly he was injured and what was taking them so long, Glen may have called it loneliness, but Kyo would call it boredom, not that boredom was anything new either, but he didn't usually have two people willing to spend time with him and talk to him. He didn't get up though, figuring that is there ws any bad damage then getting up would only make it worse and mean he would have to be here for longer.

Champ that was left on the floor without attention gave Glen a short gaze before he went away some where else.

Fredric started to dry his upper body as soon as he got the towel from Glen. And with the towel over his shoulders he pulled of his pants leaving him in only his boxers.

"Buster never been that barky..." He said in a silly tone as he looked up at Glen. "Just give me the cloths and we will tend to Kyo once again."

He held out a hand, ready to take them. "It would only look silly if I would tend to Kyo in only my boxers." He said and finished with a low laughter.

We will tend to Kyo... We... he sighed to himself. He thought Fredric had forgotten about that already, but Fredric seemed not to be that slow with his memory. Or perhaps he was the only one who had forgotten about it. Perhaps from the encounter.

Glen felt his mood slowly sinking, but he was quickly met with Fredric's final remark, which made him chuckle, and forgot about the helping for a moment. He handed the clothes over.

"I'll head back first," said Glen, "He might get jealous." Then he turned around and headed back to the bedroom.

"I heard that too..." he mumbled, first Glen said he would get lonely and now jealous... what did Glen think he was a stray cat? "Why would i get jealous, i barely know either of ..." he trailed off as he saw movement by the door of the room and turned his head to see Glen reenter. For a few seconds he just stared blankly at the man who had walked in, then abruptly turned his head back to the ceiling.

"Why would i be jealous?" he said, loud enough for Glen to hear him, "Or lonely for that matter" though he wasn't sure if the man had registered what he said he waited for an answer and for Fredric to re-enter the room.

"Jealous?" Fredric asked with a smile as he made the rest of the change into a quick matter and was soon in the room with Kyo and Glen again. He looked at them both and noticed the bucket on the floor - didn't want to tip it over. He had managed way to many messeses today already. One is one too many.

"So, have I missed anything and how are you feeling?" He asked and fixed his gaze on Kyo on the bed that somewhat didn't look as bad as before. Maybe it was his positive way of thinking or maybe it just was the painkiller that did what they should.

Glen looked at Kyo with a smile that did not convey much warmth, yet seemed to be tender, "The answers to your questions are inside of you, love." His lips stretched a little wider, showing the neat row of white teeth.

Before Glen could go on a journey of useless speech, and possibly harassing Kyo again, Fredric showed up in the room. He stood there, lips zipped, watching Kyo as Fredric enquired the man regarding his condition.

Kyo gaped at Glen, had he just been called love.... just the fact these men knew his name was an improvement to most people but still for him to be called love. Kyo sighed heavily, in the past few hours he had dealt with more strange occurrences than the past few years had held, it was starting to tire him out.

"i'm feeling... better i think, just very tired." He tried to sit up without the support of the wall, before he slept he wanted to clean himself up, and the first step of that was getting the t-shirt he was wearing off. He tried a couple of times, failing each time as he was unable to raise his arms enough.

Fredric was a bit relieved about Kyo's answer and gave Glen a short gaze before he walked up beside the bed to help Kyo. "Let me help you with that." He said as he reached out a helping hand towards the struggling Kyo. At the same time he looked over at Glen. "Do you mind to dip the ragg in the water?" He asked, not to order him, but as a request that would be appreciated.

Fredric didn't think much, he hardly did when he was focused on something important. And right now Kyo's well being was on the top list of important things.

While Kyo struggled with his clothes, Glen stood there watching without showing any signs of willingness to help the troubled man. Even after Fredric offered Kyo a hand with the clothes, and went forward with his words, he remained where he was, watching the two. But then Fredric turned to him, and requested assistance. It did not sound like an order, and neither did he felt like Fredric was forcing him to do it. But anyhow, helping is helping, and helping is not his hobby. He felt somewhat displeased, but although he felt an urge to worm his way out of this, he glanced at Fredric and nodded as an acknowledgement of the request, and an agreement.

I can't say I do mind, can I? Glen whispered to himself. He took the rag that Fredric left on the bed, and soaked it in the water from the bucket. After he wrung the rag dry, he handed it over to Fredric. He continued squatting next to the bucket as he watched Fredric and Kyo.

Even with help from Fredric he was having trouble removing his clothes, the blood had hardened making it hard to move. "You may just need to cut it off." he commented, not happy about it as all he had were the clothes on his back. Glen caught his attention purely because he didn't move to help. The man only moved when Fredric asked him to do something directly and even then he seemed hesitant.

"why is it you are not helping much?" He aimed his quiet words thinking he wouldn't be heard.

Fredric smiled as he saw Glen help out and tried to make the struggle with Kyo's cloths as painless as he could. He took the rag when Glen handed him one and tried to wet some if Kyo's blod to get the cloths of him. "Maybe..." He answered to Kyo's idea. "But the easiest, but also the most time consuming would to put you directly in the bathtub... But I'm also a bit worried about your wounds. You don't know if you have any deep cuts on you anywhere?" He asked as he gave Kyo's parts that were free from cloths a closer look. He asked just to make sure if he needed more then just the bandages and Bandaid.

Fredric didn't see Glen's reactions and therefor couldn't he react to them, neither did he hear Kyo's whisper and continued his search for wounds that would have to be cleaned and patched up correctly.

When the words flowed out of Kyo's lips, Glen quickly focused his gaze intently on Fredric who was busying with Kyo's clothes. There was no need for him to face this question. He was already helping. But he did seem to become increasingly uncomfortable from the question, although it had only been a few seconds, and so he hurriedly suggested to Fredric, "I'm not sure he can tell if he has any deep cuts anywhere on him. He's all bruised up. Maybe it's best if you get him in the bathtub." Then a moment of pause, but that made him feel awkward, so he quickly added, "His condition might get worse if you wait any longer."

Glen stood up to try and push Fredric into complying with his suggestion.

Watching Glen's eyes refocus away from him and dodge his question, it hardened Kyo. He stiffened and glared at Glen. Why had he even bothered to think he could open up to them, they probably saw him as a joke, possibly even planning to clean him up let him sleep then call the police. He heard Fredric say something, felt the man tugging at he clothing, then Glen's response to Fredric. The words flowed straight over his head and he tensed his whole body as he swung his legs over the side of the bed, managing to miss Fredric but his legs banging into the side of the bucket. The water sloshed around but didn't actually spill.

Kyo had decided to leave. Glen ignoring him had made him realise how much he had put up with with these two men, he had lowered his barriers too much and if he didn't get away now then he would be hurt. He stood up shakily, finding his balance, then he walked towards to door as fast as he could manage straining to keep the pain from displaying on his face.

Fredric gazed at Glen, surprised at his comment. He didn't believe that Kyo's condition would get bad again, he seemed stable. But he was even more surprised by Kyo that was on his way to leave the room. This messy day was just getting messier... Fredric wasn't sure what to say or do in this situation, but he couldn't help but being a bit irritated with it. "Wait Kyo, where do you think you are going?" he asked somewhat ready to catch the man if he should fall or something. He also held his fingers ready to call for backup if he would need it. He wouldn't let Kyo go just yet, not with those wounds.

Glen was as surprised as Fredric was at Kyo's decision to trod away from the bed with those wounds. He had no idea why Kyo had turned sour at his suggestion. Maybe it was something to do with the bathtub. There was nothing else that he could think of that would trigger such a reaction in Kyo.

He quickly followed behind Fredric, who was ready to catch Kyo should he stumble or fall.

"Hey," said Glen to Kyo from behind Fredric, "Fredric's right. You can't leave now. Not in that condition."

He paused for a moment, brows drawn close together, still confused about the situation.

"If you don't like the bathtub, then I guess the only option, as you suggested, is to cut your clothes off," said he.
