"Rest?! As we're crashing?" Jack looked at Angel like he was crazy. He went forward and pulled Angel to him. "Please survive the crash..." he whispered to him.

 

The Doctor clung to Spike shirt as he thought, "the only way-" Suddenly they impacted onto the ground on the alien planet. The room sagged a bit as the metal in the floor came up in some places and pieces of the wall came flying at them. They were flung around and the Doctor smacked into the ground while holding onto Spike his head reeling and pain shooting up his spine.

 

Martha's scream was cut off as he slumped to the ground smacking her head. Jack held onto Angel as he was thrust to the side holding onto the other trying to protect him from the impact.

Angel was about to say something when they crashed. He instinctively wrapped his arms around the other tightly and gasped at the impact. He blacked out when they hit and loosened his hold on te other. It felt like his hold world was shooken up.

 

Buffy was thrown against the wall and fell to the floor. The whole place seem in chaos.

 

Spike clung to the doctor and kissed his shoulder. "Theta, gI love you..." The blonde closed his eyes and braced for the impact. When they hit, he tensed his jaw and held tighter to the Doctor.

Jack gasped back to life after a few minutes after the impact. He tried to move but realized he was pinned under Angel. Turning him over he checked for a pulse then sighed, "vampire..." He stood up slowly and looked around. Vampire turned into ash when dead right? He looked around seeing the broken panels everywhere and people lying about.

 

Under some pieces of metal and a strut was the Doctor and Spike. Panicked the immortal ran over and started to dig them out, "guys?! Hey! You live in there?" He grunted as he tried to lift a piece but it was so heavy.

 

Martha started to come around, some blood trickled down her face from hitting her head. She groaned and slowly sat up looking over at Buffy. She crawled over to her and checked her pulse, "Buffy? Wake up." She gently shook her as she checked her over for injuries.

Spike groaned and used his back to lift the rubble. He looked down at the doctor and shook his head. "No... Jack, pull the Doctor out.. I can't hold it muchlonger." The blonde's arms were shakey as he grit his teeth. "I'll need you to get everyone to the medical bay. I want the doctor safe."

 

Buffy had a scrape on her shoulder and forehead, but she was otherwise fine. Sshe looked up at Martha and groaned. "My head hurts. Did someone drop a load of bricks on me?"

Jack dragged the Doctor out then braced the metal, "climb out of there..." His voice strained as he held up the metal for him. The place was a mess and he really needed to get everyone some help. Glancing around he noticed emergency lights were on but the places was tilted a bit, in fact it was on it's side.

 

Martha nodded her head, "it really feels like it huh?" She helped Buffy up and looked over at the boys. "Oh no!" Running over she tucked down next to the Doctor feeling for his pulse, "it's 178! No wait... two hearts, they might be out of sync." She started checking him over for any more brakes.

Spike grunted as he climbed out. He had a gash on his back from the landing and a small cut on his cheek. "D-Damn it. Why can't anything be simple? Watch out." The blonde crawled over to the Doctor and leaned down, kissing him. "Hold on, Theta. I'm not losing you." Spike started trailing his hands over the other as he closed his eyes. He imagined their link as a pathway and imagined taking it to reach the Doctor. He spoke in his mind after that. "Theta... Theta, it's William. I need you. I might go feed off a bunch of poor innocent humans from starvation here. Besides, who's gonna turn me on without saying a word?"

 

Buffy laughed half heartedly as she looked around them. "It sure does. Whwere's Angel? I can't see him from my position." The blonde woman braced herself on the wall and pulled herself up to stand. "Man, where are we? It almost feels like we crashed into another planet. Must have been a big building."

The Doctor gasped as he came too. His head was reeling as he turned onto his side, "Spike... What...? We crashed... wait... we're not on a planet with humans... I don't know what here actually." He grunted and touched his cheek. "You're hurt." He frowned and his breath hitched pulling his hand down to his chest coughing hard. "Is everyone alright?"

 

Jack climbed back over and touched Angel's cheek, "I don't know! I don't know how a vampire's supposed to respond. If he's still alive Angel's out."

 

Martha looked around, "I need my medical bag, but we need to get out of here first."

 

Jack scooped up Angel and made it up onto wobbly legs. He got to the door and opened them looking out onto the forest before them, "oh come on... where are we?"

Spike chuckled and kissed the Doctor's forehead and moved to get up, lifting the oyher with him. He avoided using too much of his back and bit back the wince. He could feel a sharp pain but he healed fast and didn'tt worry about it. "I'm a good healer, Doc. The scratch on my cheek will be gone in an hour."

 

Buffy moved around and frowned. I thought this ship was connected to the ddoctor guy. Shouldn't it be fine if he is?"

 

Angel had a twitch in his eyelids and his arm muscle spasmed against the immortal man's chest.

The Doctor winced on behalf of Spike, "oh... I'm sorry. We'll get you patched up as soon as we're safe." He looked over at Buffy hearing her clearly from across the ship. "No, well yes but she's a sentient being. I'll need to dig and find the heart of the Tardis to recharge it. I've done it once before."

 

Martha groaned and held her shoulder feeling the sore pain kicking in now that the fear and adrenaline were wearing off, "Mickey told me about that." She gave him a stern look and the Doctor just shrugged.

 

"Lets get outside and see what the damage is," the Doctor gently tapped Spike's chest. "Ride a 'la Spike?" He chuckled softly.

 

Jack looked down at Angel and leaned down kissing his forehead. Alright a twitch maybe he was coming around, "Hey Spike, I don't think the Doctor should come out just yet... maybe you should come out first." He turned to face the Tardis and was in shock at what he saw. The phone booth part of the Tardis was about four feet from the ground because all the rooms that were crammed inside her had exploded out onto the ground in different directions. There was metal and different things spread out over the ground. All that space inside the Tardis was suddenly outside and across was looked to be about a mile back.

"I'm fine. Just a flesh wound." Spike shook his head as he looked toward Jack. Was he suggesting the blonde leave the Docctor behind? The vampire didn't like that thought at all. "I don't see how that is a good idea. Something could fall on him. "

 

Buffy looked around as she stepped outside and frownes. "Where are we? This doesn't look familiar at all."

 

Angel groaned as he shifted a little and slowly opened his eyes. He looked up and frowned. "Why are you carrying me? You should be resting."

"Well I don't think he should see this, right now," Jack sighed knowing that now that he had to say it like that the Doctor wouldn't allow him to keep thins from him. He looked down at Angel and knelt down setting him on the ground to lean against the outsides of the Tardis, "hey... kind of hard to nap whenever everything in is chaos at the moment." He chuckled almost bitterly.

 

Martha sighed as she stepped outside, "we're on another planet- and oh my god! Jack the Tardis! She's everywhere!"

 

The Doctor tightened his hold on Spike, "take me outside. I need to see her."

Buffy stared at the Tardis and gaped. She had nno iidea what they were in amd hearing the whole bit about another planet just made her head spin. She dealt with abnormal scircumstances on earth. That was normal for her.

 

Angel chuckled and coughed lightly to clear his lungs. "Well, it must have been a doozy. You look like shit, Jack. Almost like you died and came back to life." The vampire laughed at his own little joke and laid his head back against the Tardis. "Well, atlwast everyone is in one piece."

 

Spike groaned as he carried the Doctor out of the Tardis. "Way to be suntle people. Why don't you tell the kid Ozzy ate his pet rat's head off, thinking it was a bat?" The blonde turned to face the Tardis and stepped back a bit nmore. "Holy shit."

"I did again," Jack was starting to struggle a little but he kept a brave face for everyone. "We'll need to set up camp... We can use pieces of the Tardis. It's not safe inside her." He placed a hand on Angel's shoulder. He looked over at the Doctor know this wasn't going to be good for him.

 

Martha put a hand on Buffy's shoulder, "we were in the Tardis... a time machine. She's... broken though..."

 

The Doctor's eyes widened in horror, "No..." He reached towards her then gasped. "NO!" He struggled from Spike's grip making him put him down and crawled over to touch the side of his broken ship. "NONONONONO!!!" A loud sob came from him as he gripped the broken metal sticking out. "ARRRGGGHHHH!!!!"

Angel looked up at Jack and frowned. He laid a hand over the brunette's and squweezed it gently. "We should get wood for a fire. Work on that shelter. I don't want to over exert myself."

 

"Okay... i might be in denial for awhile. Let's help the boys before the insanity really sets in for me." Buffy pat Martha's shoulder gently before moving toward the ship.

 

Spike knelt next to the doctor and hugged him to his chest. "Hey. It'll be okay.We'll get her heart and restore her then the three of us can go on many adventures together." The blonde kissed the brunette's temple and sighed, holdon him close. "It looks bad, but we can fix her.Just you wait and see. Then we can tell her how important she is to us."

Jack nodded his head and looked towards the Doctor, it was hard to see the man he looked up to for so long screaming and breaking down over the Tardis. He walked along the Tardis to grab pieces of metal and what looked to be part of a bookshelf off the ground to bring back. Looking through the rubble he found a type of 60th century laser medical saw that he could use for the trees. Walking into the woods he started to cut down some trees, keeping an eye out for any life. After that crash though it would take a while for anyone to approach. He didn't know this planet and wasn't sure what was on it, "Hey guys!" He called out to them. "Don't get into anything until we know what we can and can't eat! I'll try everything first." Continuing to chop he kept hearing a small sound but assumed it was just after the crash effects. Maybe there was something wrong with his eardrums? Although it felt like it was pressing a little in his mind.

 

Martha chuckled softly and helped Buffy down, "yeah it took me a while too. The whole bigger on the inside and time travel is a bit... crazy." She started looking through the rubble for a medical bag and thankfully she was able to find hers just inside the Tardis door. Several things were broken inside it so she started to search through it to see what survived.

 

The Doctor sniffled and clung to Spike, "damn it!" A choked sob came from him then. He trembled clinging to the blond. He wanted to shut down and curl up next to her. She was all he had left from home. Without her... well he had Spike now but that was different. Of course it was love but before him there was only the Tardis after everything. He was so distraught he didn't know what to do or say. After a few minutes he calmed and tilted his head, "do you hear that... sort of white noise?" He looked out towards the trees. "It's pressing on the back of my mind... like a telepathic white noise?"

Angel groaned as he stood and started helping with metal. After a bit, the vampire worked on taking the metal into a shrouded area of the forest and built a structure. He had a tough time concentrating with the noise at the back of his mind but eventually he finished the shelter. It was deent enough sized for all of them as long as most of them cuddled close. They could probably manage a fire insode so no alien creatures would notice the fire.

 

Buffy frowned as she looked up to the sky. "I thought maybe my ears were still bufging from the crash. Martha, why don't we set up a semi medical area for you? I bet Angel can help us while Jack vuts wood." The blonde woman looked around forr any tools or weapons that had been flung. She picked up what looked to be a small rod and frowned, looking it over. "Is this ksome stick you hit people with? It must be one of your guys'. I don't recognize it and the boys typically carry no weapins."

 

"Theta, it'll be okay. She's not gone." Spike frowned as he held the Docotor tight. He wishred he could somehow prove it'd be okay. He ubdrrstood losing everything dear to you. He'd been doen that path and didn't plan to visit it any time soon. "I habve a great idea. You show me in our minds what the heart looks like. I'll bring it to you right now. Ignore the noise. It's probsbly just the atmosphere."

Jack helped bring over some logs to hold up the structure, "we'll build something better tomorrow. Thankfully it's overcast." With it being a different planet and different sun he wasn't sure how the vampires were going to respond to it. Setting up a stack of wood he looked over towards the Doctor. "We can use his sonic to start a fire."

 

The Doctor trembled his head starting to pound. He was a telepathic being so the sound was slamming against his had not that he noticed it. He tried to concentrate through the noise to show Spike but gasped and held his head, "it's so loud..." To the others it was just a strange background sound, to him it was like a person screaming in his ear.

 

Martha nodded her head gathering things she could use and dragged them over to the shelter. "Hm?" she looked to Buffy and reached her hand out for the rod wondering what it was. "Oh! It's the sonic!" She went over tot he Doctor and Spike. "Buffy found this..." she hoped it would make him feel better.

Angel nodded as he worked on making small pallets of leaves and twigs to sleep on. "We'll rest here and figure out a better option tomorrow." The vampire looked to the sky and frowned. He had chosen a well covered area but the reality was, there was no escaping the sun once it showed itself. "Maybe we could dig down or find a cave. Then set up there."

 

Spike frowned and tried to push other thoughts in the Doctor's mind to block out the noise. He tried thinking about anything else. When Martha came over, he looked up and frowned. See if Angel and Jack can use it for setting up camp. I'll take the Doc over there in just a bit."

 

Buffy frowned as she watched Martha interrupt the two men. She wondered if he had ever been so conciius of her emotions when they were together. She figured not, but it didn't hurt to dream.

Jack looked up and looked towards the wreckage, "I would be worried about finding an animal we don't want to face yet, lets pull over that large piece of metal. We can use that for extra cover till we find out if the sun will effect you." He wiped the sweat from his brow and headed over grabbing one side of it.

 

"S-Setting 34... that'll light a fire... Jack knows some of the other settings..." The Doctor held his head and only opened one eye halfway to look towards Martha. She frowned very worried about him and brought the sonic to Jack. She helped to lift a side of the large metal piece.

 

The Doctor reached over grabbing onto Spike's arm, "I need... I need you to go into the medical bay... I don't know where it is in the mess... near the kitchen and Jack's room. There's..." Blood trickled down from his nose. "There's a necklace in... in the second drawer on a large silver cabinet... it's a perception filter. I think it's a wave of telepathic field on the planet... If I have that we can set it to the right frequency and block it from around my head..."

"Jack, I am not worried about wild animals. Even in my state, I have more strength than a lion. On a normal day, I can vontend with an elephant."It was at that moment that he recalled. A child's movie and a song that played during it. He chuckled and stepped toward Jack, careasing hia hair. "I am here, don't cry. I will protect you from all around you."

 

Buffy looked around for anything else and grabbed a few clorhs that looked passable as blankets at this point. ""Martha, should we make a rain catcher? We won't know if any type of water is safe here."

 

"I'll take care of you." Spike wiped the blood from the Doctor's nose and smiled before moving ayt his fastest pace through the wreckage. He followed the scent of medicine and ointments. He figured it would be his safest bet. Once there, he ssearched everywhere for the necklace before darting back to the Doctor, holding it up. "This it?"

Jack looked at Angel and chuckled, "you'll be in my heart?" He reached his hand up and put it on Angel's shoulder. "What if it's poisonous and can take even you out? We don't know... maybe the Doctor does but I don't."

 

Martha nodded her head, "yes we should. While we're doing that- Jack? Angel? Do you mind seeing if you can salvage food and water from the Tardis?"

 

Jack looked over at her and nodded his head, "yeah sure. We can do that." He looked to Angel. "Got to keep us fed so we can feed you." He chuckled softly.

 

The Doctor had leaned against the Tardis when Spike went inside. More blood trickled from his nose while he sat there. Turning his head to the side he covered his nose with his hand trying to hide it and wipe it away. When Spike returned he gave a sigh of relief and slipped it on. He started to try to adjust the settings, "it's not whoa... working?" He looked around seeing a haze as the perception filter worked for one ray of light blocking it out. "Hm... I need my screwdriver... it's blocking out ultraviolet light... wait is this how a human sees? How dull."

Angel shrugged as he chuckled. "I will handle the beasties and you the food." The vampire turned for the Tardis and lpoked over at the immortal man. He figured he could have done worse than say ye s to this man. "We should get blanlets for the women aince they won't have cuddle buddies."

 

Buffy smiled at the woman as she moved to get to work on setting up aa drain catcher. This material is thin enough to filter it if we can get either a bucket or dig a big enough hole."

 

Spike sighed and nodded before picking the dlDoctor up. You can play with it under the shelter." The blonde took the brunette to the shelter and sat him down gently before going over to the women. "Ladies, can you help the Doc. He needs his fancy screwdriver. I'm going to fetch some things. Just help him with whatever he asks and if he needs me, Ixll be at the Tardis." He didn't wait for the women to answer before he took off to the Tardis.

Jack walked around the side of the Tardis and found a bit of a hallway that he could walk down. Heading down the hall he found an old room that had to have been an old companions. He didn't realize whose it was as he grabbed blankets and clothing from inside that room. Obviously a girls room. He actually found a couple pillows too and loaded them onto a cart he found. Grabbing several things they would need for the night he returned to the camp and started setting up beds for them.

 

Martha nodded her head and set a rock over where the bucket would go, "alright bucket... oh!" She grabbed a bucket of the cart Jack brought over and dug a bit deeper to place it under it. "Thanks... you've done this before?" She looked up at Spike a little surprised by what he said. She looked over to the Doctor who was fiddling with the necklace. Going over to him she did his obs then sat back to wipe under his nose and cheek with a damp clothe, "are you alright?"

 

"Broken back still, minimal energy, and there a telepathic field around the planet... much be why we crashed, yeah I'm great," the Doctor took his sonic and fiddled with the necklace then sighed. "That's better. Just a background noise now. Where's Spike?" He saw the blond woman and fretted what she was going to say.

Angel gathered as much food and drinks as he could from what was left of the kitchen. He had to pass upa bit of the better food since it got ruined in the crash. The vampire used a couple of chests to carry the food. It made transport a lot easier.He was about to leave when he noticed something growing through a crack in the floor. It seemed strange to have grown so much sincee they had landed.He figured it'd be something to mention when. He got back to the others. Loading up the supplies, taking some dishware and itensils as wella some pots and pans, Angel rushed back to the camp. He set everything down and sighed as he stood and stretched. That was when his ees fell on some vines that were just peeking over the top of the shelter they had just built. Frowning, the brunette moved aeound the shelter to look at the backside. Tere was a couple vines trailingg up the backside. "Uh... Jack... come look at this."

 

"I learned a few things from my grandpa when I was still little. Like an ice chest buried will stay cooler than an ice chest sitting attop te dirt." Biffy smiled at being able to put her vast knowledge to use. It wasn't often that she got to. When the doctor asked his question, the blonde frowned and shook her head. "He said to tell you that he's going to be at the Tardis. And that we're to taake care off you."

 

Spike was rummaging through everything and foubd the medicine. He gathered what wasn't broken and hrabbed what medical tools still looked usseful. He searched for the Doctor's room next and looked through eveerything. He waanted to get the other clothes and anuthing that lookes valuable. After wrapping everything up, the blonde closed his eyes and spoke in his head softly. "Hey... Tardis... if you can hear me... I just need to find your heart. Help me, girl."

Jack was setting up the inside still and started to blank out a bit. His exhaustion was getting the better of his, plus he was trying to listen to the others and make sure they were okay. Blinking he heard Angel beckon him, "what is it?" He asked before he stood and wondered around to the back of the camp, making sure his finished his yawn before he came into Angel's sight.

 

Martha reached a hand over and gently rubbed Buffy's shoulder, "alright, alright, let me patch everyone up now and we'll get settled." She grabbed out her kit, having a plastic bottle for alcohol and sutures. She had some basic medical supplies that survived in her kit so she would be able to numb them.

 

The inside creaked as more metal settled and something fell over down a broken hall, but besides that there was nothing. She was honestly gone. That was why the Doctor panicked so, since he honestly couldn't feel her.

 

The Doctor looked away from Buffy a little scared to make eye contact with her. He didn't like it when people didn't like him, it made him uneasy. There was one time where a group didn't trust him and they nearly killed him. Martha had come over to him asking if he needed anything for the pain. He just shook his head, "I can only have Bladamine... and it's somewhere in the ship. I'll be fine." A drop of sweat went down his cheek and that was the first indication he was actually uncomfortable. Time Lord's only sweat if there bodies were under stress. Martha didn't comment on it, she simply stitched the gash on his arm then went to Buffy. "Alright where are you hurt?"
