akiravadel
Merlin sighed, "yeah... I need to get Arthur's chores going. I'll meet up with you guys at dinner. Maybe... if he doesn't ring my neck out first." He smirked and shook his head. Gawain chuckled and patted Arthur's shoulder, "that we can agree on Sire, but maybe it's because it helped stir feelings you didn't know you had? Huh?" He winked at the king. "Come lets drink!" He walked over to the table grabbing the wine and poured them both a glass.
RikkaTag
Lancelot smiled and pat Merlin's head. "You are much more than you realize. Arthur will open his eyes to feelings neieither of you recognized until this ordeal happened." Arthur took a long drink of the wine and took a deep breath before holding his glass up. "Here's to things one never wishes to know. For example, feelings. We can live without those."
akiravadel
Merlin sighed and shrugged his shoulders. He ran his fingers through his own hair, "Yeah... yeah maybe." He sighed and looked to him. "I need to bring him dinner or he'll fuss... We'll see ho he'll react then." He sighed again wondering if Lancelot was right. Gawain held his glass up to clink against his, "maybe for some but I love them. They're harsh and scary but absolutely wonderful. I mean be honest with me Sire, even though it was an enchantment. How wonderful did it feel to sleep next to him?" He raised a brow.
RikkaTag
Lancelot smiled and nodded. "And I will bring Gawain his dinner. He'll probably make some crack about it, but at least he'll appreciate it." The knight lat the raven's head and sighed, trying to think things through. A lot had happened in the last couplr days anf he was starting to think he didn't want it to change. "Merlin... remember he conversation about children? And you being able to make it happen for us? Could you really?" "...." Arthur stopped in the middle of a drink amd stared at his knight. "Are you suggesting that I liked it? Cause I can tell you right now with a hundred percent cer..." He frowned as he began thinking about it and chugged the rest of his glass down, blushing fearously. "What are you trying to do, Gawain?"
akiravadel
Merlin looked at Lancelot then blinked a little surprised. He cleared his throat then nodded his head, "yeah that's easy to do. Well... not easy but not too hard to do." He smiled at him. "I would love to do that for you guys. You'd need to be careful during pregnancy." Gawain smirked at him, he got him, "trying to make you think about it. I'm just saying don't push him completely out. What if it just heightened feelings you had? We don't know what happened to you, just that you two were together for a couple days." He shrugged his shoulders, "maybe give him a chance?" RikkaTag
Lancelot blushed and fumbled with his words as he tried to think of a response. "W-well... i-it's not... that is... wait! Who said I'd be the pregnant one?" The knight was not going to easily submit to putting his body through such a thing. That would just be crazy. "A-and what about you? Can't you do that with Arthur?" Arthur glared at his knight and held his glass out. "You'll need to make me drunker before I admit to blasphemy like that! You don't think I didn't remember the whole memory game he played? I remember it all. He should be in the stocks!"
akiravadel
Merlin smirked thinking he had the upper hand for a moment until the other spoke, "w-well yes but... I don't think he'd want a child with me since I have magic and all. I just think telling him that is a terrible idea." The brunette rubbed his hands over his face. Gawain poured more wine into his drink, "he played a memory game with you? Well how would you have responded in his shoes? Imagine him king and all of a sudden the kind starts coming onto you and loves you then forgets who he was supposed to be? Wouldn't you find it easier to play along at first to help find a solution then to tell him he's wrong and risk getting in serious trouble?" RikkaTag
"You won't know unless you talk to him. Plus, then he can't say he doesn't want to be with you simply because you can't bear. Him an heir." Lancelot grinned as he happily put the focus on the mage. He wasn't even sure how long it would last between him and Gawain. He would n't want a child in such a place. "Maybe it'll turn him on. You could sgow himal the things magic an do that will make him feel good." Arthur shook his head and scoffed. He wasn't thinking of that bit of deception. "I meant the memory game where he said some weird words and I thought I was sixteen. How do you explain that and him still walking around a free man." akiravadel
Merlin raised a brow, "you honestly think he'd be okay with that?" He ran his fingers through his hair then sighed heavily dropping his arms. "Maybe if it comes up later, I'm sure he'll just laugh at me when I mention it." Gawain worried for a moment, "maybe he..." He didn't know what to say to help that. Obviously Merlin had been caught using his magic. What could he say in this scenario? Leaning forward he poured more wine into Arthur's glass. He was a little worried for Merlin now.
RikkaTag
"You'll have to tell him some day." Lancelot shrugged and ran a hand threw his tawny locks. "He could wake from the spell with a whole new view of you." Arthur took a long drink of his wine and sighed as he walked over to the window and looked out over the training grounds. "All I'm saying is, hhe seems awfully against hate toward magic and coincidently around qwhen weird things happen."
akiravadel
"Yeah, a WHOLE new view," Merlin sighed heavily and went into the kitchen to gather Arthur's dinner. He ate a piece of bread while he waited and the nice cook gave him a piece of turkey while giving him a small smile. He helped the woman out before when she was accused of witchcraft but she had no magic. It was something Merlin did and she got blamed for. He helped prove her innocents but exposed a different mage sneaking in. This were certainly interesting there. "Well Merlin doesn't seem to hate anyone," Gawain shrugged his shoulders. "He always wants to help people and you know he never blames anyone for anything. I'm sure he doesn't view all magic users are bad. Many of them have done terrible things but this is Merlin we're talking about. He cares about everyone."
RikkaTag
Lancelot smiled and flirted lightly with the cook before winking at Merlin. "Maybe that whole new view is all he needs." The knight got Gawains dinner and his own before smelling the food. "Mmm... delicious as usual. Such a fine lady to cook so good for us. Maybe you could give Arthur seconds. He seemed awefully hunger and hasn't eaten all day." Arthur frowned and shook his head. He had a hard time seeing magic in a positive light. "Gawain... he could be behind all the bad things that have happened to me. Like the snakes coming out of the shield and biting me."
akiravadel
Merlin looked to Lancelot then to the woman, who sighed and smiled to Merlin. She liked him but tolerated Arthur for the most part. She gave Merlin some extra and the warlock headed up to the room with him, "they're probably still in Arthur's room. I heard the maids talking that he was yelling in there at one point." Gawain made a face, "actually we found out he got that from a trader outside of town. Maybe he was trying to help?" He raised his hands in a shrug. "He always seems to show up just in the nick of time to help you doesn't he?"
RikkaTag
"Then that will be the first place we look." Lancelot chuckled as he carried the two less full plates and headed toward Arthur's room. "Maybe we could make a night of it. You, me, Gawain, and Arthur. We could soften the blow." "How do you know that?" Arthur down his glass and held it out to Gawain. "I mean... maybe he's not helping... and why did he enjoy it so much?" The blonde blushed and put a finger in the air. "He enjoyed it..."
akiravadel
"It might not be so bad with you guys helping," Merlin smiled softly to him as he carried the plates. Taking a deep breath he knocked on Arthur's door hoping he wouldn't be angry. "What the sex? Come on who wouldn't with you," Gawain winked at him. "Unless he was faking it." He poured more wine into his glass then went to open the door. "Welcome boys. OHhhhh dinner?" He smiled taking a plate from Lancelot and came back into the room. Merlin stepped forward and without making eye contact with Arthur set the plate down for him.
RikkaTag
Lancelot smiled and sat at the table with his food. "The cook gave you two helpings, Arthur. Just in case you were very hungry." The small knight looked up at Gawain and raised an eyebrow. "Talking about anything interesting?" "Faking it?" Arthur frowned as he looked at Merlin and Lancelot enter. He hadn't considered that his servant was faking it. But with that possibility, he felt even more betrayed. "Thanks. I'm not hungry. Gawain, can you pour me another glass?" akiravadel
Gawain smiled to Lancelot, "we were." He took a big bite of the turkey on his plate. "Sire I think you ought to eat something else before pouring more alcohol into your system." He looked to Merlin who didn't know what to say as he stood there. His biggest fear was Arthur being mad at him for the sexual stuff when he remembered, not about him noticing his abilities. Merlin cleared his throat, "are you feeling unwell Sire? Would you prefer something else?" He grabbed the wine to pour him another glass but worried for Arthur.
RikkaTag
Lancelot frowned and got up with his plate to step over by Gawain. He kept his tone as a whisper as he spoke. "We talked to Morgana and she refused to help. But Merlin may know how to fix it now." He popped some turkey in his mouth and smiled. "Haw are you feeling?" Arthur regarded Merlin and glared at him. This so called loyal servant would dare to fake it. He was a hotblooded male after all. "No. I am not alright. But I'm sure you could just fake that I am. Pour me a glass. I don't want any food." The blonde crossed his arms and watched the raven.
akiravadel
Gawain took a deep breath before whispering, "he's back to normal... and remembers..." He gave Lancelot concerned eyes then. He worried for Merlin safely and really wanted to warn them before they got there. What if this really got out of hand? Merlin looked very hurt and a little leery of Arthur. He poured him another glass and then bit his bottom lip, "I'm sorry? Are you alright? Are you... back to normal?" He felt his heart start to thump loudly in his ears. RikkaTag
Lancelot's eyes widened and he gasped. "Seriously? This is bad..." The knight looked up at his lover in worry and set his plate aside. "Was that the houting from before? Did he do anything to you,Gawain?" Lance felt his concern for the knight stronger than the concern he had felt ffor himself. Arthur took the glass and chugged the wine before growling a response. "You tell me, magic user. Do I seem back tto normal to you?" The blonde slammed the glass on the table and turned away from the mage. "To think I trusted you and all I've seen is betrayal."
akiravadel
Gawain shook his head, "no we were fine I was trying to reason with him before you two came in-" The slam caught him off guard and he turned to looked at Arthur and Merlin. The poor mage wanted to hide in a corner. He put a hand on Lancelot's shoulder trying to keep him from running over there and possibly making the matters worse, or turn the king against him. Merlin's eyes went wide. This was not how he wanted Arthur to find out, "what? I-Arthur I!" He set the wine bottle on the table then raised his hands as if he was trying to make himself seem like not a threat. "You have the wrong idea. I've always tried to help, that's why I stayed here. I've only tried to help you."
RikkaTag
Lancelot bristled as he turned toward the two. "Let me go, Gawain. Merlin doesn't need to be treated such a way." The knight was ready to defend the mage. Arthur glared at him hard aand crossed his arms. "Then explain how you are conveniently always right theere when sething bad haplens or how you took my memory away... or the making me fall for you bit." The blonde was angry and confused, but thanks to the confusion supplied by Gawiain he wasn't as angry aas he would have been.
akiravadel
Gawain looked to Lancelot, "I know you want to help him but he needs to explain it to Arthur. We need him to stand up to him and show him." He looked at his lover then back to the two. He wanted to run over there as well but they needed to work it out themselves. "Because I always follow you Arthur!" Merlin flung his hands down to his side exasperated. "I worry about you constantly. I keep getting told that nothing can happen to you or the future of our kingdom is ruined. You are the future of our lands and it's my job to protect you. You're my destiny Arthur. So many things I protected you from that you don't even know!" Merlin took a step around the table putting some space between him and Arthur. "I never wanted you to..." He blushed a bit. "Come after me that way. You are my friend and I was good with that. What I tried was a simple dispel which apparently took the last several years away. Remember all those times in the words you were injured and you wake up fine? I healed you. I fixed you and you threw shoes and made fun of me!" RikkaTag
Lancelot frowned as he could not deny the truth of his lover's words. He hated to admit it, but it was true. He looked up at his lover and sighed. "Alright. But if it gets worse, I willdraw blood." "What?" Arthur frowned as he stared at the raven. In the tinme he had to organiz e his thoughts, Gawain's words popped up in his mind again. "And I suppose faking it is also necessary?" He growled as he took a step closer to the tab le. "I suppose you have an excuse for your betrayals from the past few days."
akiravadel
Gawain made a face as he realized he said something that didn't settle well with the prince. He was happy Arthur was unarmed and his sword was across the room, even though he could grab it in just a second. "I didn't betray you! I tried to fix the spell put on you-and why do you keep saying faking it? I don't know what you mean," Merlin swallowed hard as he nervously went around the table. Biting his bottom lip he struggled with this situation.
