"Open the door my love. I can't tell them now. Please, I love you. Open the door" Tomo asked seeing that Nao won't open the door. After a while he just left and went into the kitchen. There his family kept the keys of all rooms from the house. He took a small one and return to the restroom, then opened the door. He found Nao crying and just took him into his arms. "I love you" he said and gave Nao a kiss. They didn't hear the steps approaching and a person was watching at them with a suprised face .

Nao sniffled feeling his lovers arms aroud him and he leaned into him. "I-i love you too..." He said softly and slipped his hands into Tomo's hair kissing him deeper than Tomo had kissed him. He blushed and was happy until he heard the scream at the door. It was loud and it made nao jump and his ears fall back. He looked up at the surprised face of Tomo's mother. She had seen them and now nao would be thrown out. He looked away not wanting to see her face as she got on to them for there relationship.

“What’s this my son?” she asked and watched at them with a surprised face. Tomo took Nao into his arms and answered “Mom he fainted and I didn’t know what to do so I tried to do him CPR. He had a wound on his leg and all this week I took care of him”. She then smiled and replied “So that’s why he didn’t feel well. Please take him into your room so he can rest. I will send food for both of you.” Tomo nodded and left with Nao into his arms.

Nao didnt look at Tomo. That was a perfect time to tell his mother they were more than friends. She had to have heard them say they loved one another. He pushed himself out of Tomo's arms when he knew his mother wasnt watching anymore. "I'm fine...No need for CPR." He said and gave Tomo a nasty look his ears back and the hair on his tail standing on end. He was pissed off. He didnt think it was right to lie about it to him and to his parents. For all Nao knew they could just be friends "with benifits". He shook his head the white hair on his head longer than it used to be pushing its way infront of his eyes. He opened the door to the room not looking at Tomo. He sat on the chair pulling his legs up to him. He didnt care he was hurt and angry. He didnt want to talk to Tomo or even touch him.

“Damn. I hurt him” Tomo thought and knew Nao won’t forgive him so easy. Seeing him on that chair he wanted to hug him but thinking well he realized it wasn’t a good idea. So he tried to apologized “Nao … I’m sorry. I can’t say to my parents, not yet. If they will find, they may try to keep me away from you. I don’t want that. That’s why I didn’t tell them you are my lover”. As he was speaking Tomo didn’t hear the door opening and his father entered. “LOVERS?” he almost yelled. “So that’s why you bring him home Tomo. No need to worry I’m happy you finally have a lover and Nao is a good kid. You two have my blessing”.

nao looked at his father for a moment shocked then his face turned bright red as his cheeks sported a blush unlike any other..."thank you sir..." he said to the father and nodes his thanks. He looked away still angry with Tomo over it all. It took his fatehr finding out before he had to tell them. "Will you please leave us sir..' he said softly not wanting to be mean. He sighed and shook his head his tail still bigger than usual his ears twitching angerly.

“Yes of course. I came because my wife told me you don’t feel ok Nao. But now I understand why. My stubborn son fault” his father was looking at him with smiling eyes before he left the room. Tomo knew he was laughing of him for being such a coward. But he knew he must apologize to Nao. He was so angry and Tomo didn’t know how to start, what to say. Finally he took a deep breath and spoke “ Nao, I…” but he didn’t expected to what followed: Nao slapped him with a force Tomo didn’t expect from him.

Nao stood seeing tomo's father leaving the room. He looked at Tomo seeing he was about to speak and Nao without thinking pulled up his hand and slapped Tomo across the face with all the anger and confusion he had bottled up inside. Tears ran down his cheeks and he held his hand with the other it stinging from impact. "I am leaving." He said the three words as if he was spitting them out at Tomo. "When you dont feel ashamed of us anymore...come and find me." He said and picked up his already filled bag and didnt even look back as he left the room. He walked down the first hallway running into his father. "Will you please give me a ride? I think i have overstayed my welcome." He said softly and the master of the home got him a car and Nao put his stuff in it. He looked up at the window which was Tomo's and his ears flattened but he shook his head and got in the car. He told the driver the address and sat back watching the huge house fade away in the evening.

 

He pulled into the drive to his home....the one home he hadnt been to since they moved. He sighed getting his things and opening the door. Of course no one was home. He sat down his things and took off his shoes his tail lazy and his ears flat as he didnt even get into the home before he slid down the wall onto the floor and pulled his legs up to him crying into them.

Tomo touched his aching face and couldn’t say anything. Nao was leaving and he couldn’t do anything. He deserved it. To be punched. Because he hurt Nao more than he thought. Soon he heard a car leaving and knew Nao was in it. He felt his legs were shaking and he fell down near the bed. His face was covered with salty tears and was still aching. All he could think was on Nao’s words “When you dont feel ashamed of us anymore...come and find me”. “I’m an idiot” he yelled and stood up. He needed to find Nao.

Nao had moved to his room in the past hour and he heard the door open and laughter coming up. He stood wiped his face and walked down the hall and smiled seeing it was his mom and dad laughing together. "Mom...Dad..." He said walking hesitantly to them. They both looked at him and his mother instantly set her things down and hugged him. She didnt ask what was wrong or what had happened she just hugged him and told him it would be okay. He buried his face in her neck smelling her perfume that he hadnt smelled since he was in middle school. He cried into her shoulder hard and he didnt care that his father just stood there unsure as to what to do. He didnt care that he wasnt supposed to cry. He didnt care about anything anymore.

 

After he had calmed down his mother went to change and they set him down. His mother hugged him again and smiled lightly, "It seems...that you dont like it here hun...and we want you happy. So...Your dad took a job in America. He wants you and I to go with him." She smiled and Nao looked at her unable to say anything. "I know you have friends here now and all but its okay? You never had a problem before about moving...Its for your father and they even are giving me a job also. Can you believe it?" his mother was so happy even though he had just cried. All of his world was falling apart as he sat in his living room talking to the two people who dont really even care about him.

Tomo opened the door of his room to get out when he met his father. “Can we speak son?” Tomo nodded and returned to his room followed by his father. “I know you and Nao had a fight. He asked me for a car so I call one for him. He’s hurt because you try to deny he’s your lover. “ Tomo nodded and tears were cover his face. “I need to find him father. I need to speak with him. But I don’t know where his family lives, if he’s there. I…” Tomo collapsed on bed burying his face into his hands. “My son try to rest and tomorrow you will find his address and go there“ his father added but Tomo yelled “No I need him now. I must go to buy something for him. I’m an idiot. He was looking at something today. I need to buy that for him.” His father took him into his arms and hugged him tight “Tomorrow my son” and then held him until he fell asleep. After covering him with a blanket he went back to his office to make some calls.

Hiding the mask of hate and guilt and betrayl, Nao nodded. "yea...I cant believe it...Thats wonderful!" He said and then the rest of the night was a blur. People and colors looking the same. He sighed going to his room laying down. he closed the door and sighed as he sunk into the bed that was made to fit his size. He hated this...the fact of leaving behind someone he loved. though...Tomo was ashamed of him...what difference would it make if he left? He covered his eyes and he started to cry until finally he cried himself to sleep while the pain in his eyes were so new.

In the morning Tomo woke up early and rushed to take a shower. He needed to find Nao. As soon as he dressed he ran out of his room. But on front of the house door he met his father. “Where are you going my son?” Tomo answered “To look for Nao” and he wanted to leave but his father stopped him “Do you know where he lives?” Tomo shook his head as no. “But I know” his father replied and smiled “I will take you there my son”. Tomo jumped into his father arms and then both went out to take a car. “But before we go to his house I must buy something for him” Tomo said with a happy face. “Sure son. Let’s go now” .

nao woke to the sound of doors opening and closing. He opened his eyes and boxs were all over his floor full of his stuff. He sighed. Right...they had been moving last night. He sighed and got out of bed getting ready quickly and he started taking his boxs putting them with all the others of the family in the moving truck. He didnt talk to anyone and his ears stayed flat the whole time. He closed his eyes as the last box went into the truck. He looked around his home that was now empty and barren. He sighed softly closing the front door and locking it for the last time ever...He picked up his bag and took it to the car they would drive to the airport in. Nao had wrote a letter...

Tomo entered into the jewellery shop from yesterday and he ran to look at that ring. It was there waiting to be buy. “I would like to buy this ring but I have a request: can you make another one similar with it?” The seller assured him they would make another one so Tomo paid for it and gave the address where to be delivered the other one. Then he and his father went to Nao’s address. But there they had a surprise – nobody was answering and a neighbour told them the family left to the airport. Tomo found Nao’s letter in the mailbox so he started to cry. “Don’t worry my son. We will bring him back” his father said and both hurried to the airport.

Nao knowing that tomo probably was looking for him leaned against the wall waiting for his parents to come and get him to board the plane. he sighed and looked up at his father who was standing with him. "Dad...I had a boyfriend. His name was Tomo..." He said ears flattening looking away from him.

His father smiled and nodded, "I know...his father called me." He said and ruffled Nao's hair. "I wasnt going to ask you to leave with us but you were really upset yesterday...thought you and him broke up so its best to get you out of here." he said leaning next to him. Nao nodded, "Thanks...but i dont know if i can leave. Me and him...we have been together almost two years now...beginning of my junior year and now the end of senior year. College is comeing up fast..." He said and his tail flicked nervous.

"I wont blame you for staying here..." He said softly to nao. "I dont mind you loving him...just if you stay...tel me you are okay here and there." His father said looking worried as his mother came to them. He looked at them both his heart winning over as he smiled, "Thank you! I am staying...i'll wait for him here at the airport...suprise him." He said softly knowing that tomo wouldnt know that he plane hadnt left yet.

Tomo was so worried that Nao left to America. He was so scared he would lose him forever. Once they arrived on the airport he ran to the 67 terminal. He hoped Nao would be there but wasn’t sure at all. He hurt his lover a lot by hiding him from his parents. But once he arrived there he had a surprise: Nao was there. “Nao I’m so sorry” Tomo said before hugged him tight. “I was a coward. I told all to my parents. They are happy for us” Nao nodded and put his tail around Tomo’s hand. “Not here my love. Wait to be alone” Tomo whispered into his ear and he broke the hug. “Let’s go boys. It’s a long way to home” his father said. “But I need to give Nao what I buy for him father” Tomo protested. “And you want to give him that in such place my son?” his father replied. “You are right father. Let’s go Nao” Tomo smiled taking Nao’s hand into his. All the way he held Nao’s hand tight. He didn’t want to let him go ever again.

Nao smiled seeing Tomo walking down to him. He was hugged as he nodded at his father. He waved to his own parents then looked at tomo and his father. They spoke of giving him something and his head tilted and he looked confused. "What is it?" he said to both males as they made their way to Tomo's fathers car. He squeezed Tomo's hand softly not wanting to let go of him. A soft purr escaped his lips as he looked at Tomo waiting for his answer. He hoped he hadnt gone and gotten him something that was super expensive even if they werent having problems with money. He slipped into the back seat with Tomo and laid his head down in Tomo's lap. He had gotten no sleep the night before and the trip home was long. He sighed softly and closed his eyes settling in for a long nap. He dozed off listening to the car start up and feeling Tomo brushing back his hair in a casual way.

All the way to his home – no their home now since Nao was under his father tutelage – Tomo was in heaven. He played with Nao’s hair all the way long and waited for the moment when they will be alone and he would be able to ask Nao to be his lover forever. “Wake up Nao. We arrived” Tomo asked him few hours later. Then he helped Nao with the luggage and both went into his room. His father followed them “Nao as I promised to your parents I will take good care of you. This is your house now. Make yourself comfortable.” Nao nodded and started to unpack his clothes. ” I’m going into my office now. I have things to do.” the father said and left the room letting them alone.

Nao looked at tomo when his father left the room. He sighed softly, "tomo...I didn't stay...for you. I thought you loved me..." he said and looked away. "I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you..." he said his tail and ears falling flat in loss, "but I know you don't want me..." he laughed softly. "I will go if you want me too...I love you tomo." he said softly tears falling down his cheeks as he looked up at tomo form the spot on the bed he had sat down on.

“Don’t cry my love. I love you too. I want you to spend your whole life with me. That’s why I bought this” Tomo said and took from his pocket a small velvet box. Then he knelt in front of Nao and opened the box revealing the ring Nao looked at the day before. Tomo took a deep breath and then asked “Would you be my lover forever?” and looked down waiting for an answer.

Nao felt the tears come faster as he nodded his head looking at the ring. It was the same one he had been looking at the day they came here. He smiled brightly and touched his lovers cheek. "Yes.. I want to spend therest of my life with you..." he said and leaned down kissing tomo as he slipped the ring into his left hand. He looks down at it and he blushed looking up at tomorrow. "so...I am your wife?" he laughed softly his tail finding its way around Tomos hand.

“Yes you are my love” Tomo answered wiping the tears from Nao’s cheeks. “I don’t want to see you crying again, I … won’t make you cry again” he added and took Nao into his arms. “Can I touch you?” he asked looking into Nao’s big eyes. All he wanted was that night to last forever.

[Arekushisu]

Nao looked at his lover and he took his hand and kissed it. "Where is yours? When I said I wanted rings I didnt mean just for me. I want matching ones. One for you and another for me...so its the same...and everyone knows you are mine." He said touching his cheek to his lovers hand as he started to purr softly. He blushed at the question and Pushed tomo back some. He wanted to talk not touch.

Tomo listened Nao speaking and then nodded before he answered “I already order one for me my love. They will send it to me in few days. And then everybody will know you are mine. Tomorrow we must go to school anyway”. Tomo didn’t know what to say anymore when his lover pushed him a little further but he understood. Nao didn’t want to be touch yet. Tomo’s behaviour hurt him a lot.
