[Arekushisu]

Kai smiled softly and hugged Gio back. "Thanks for looking out for me then...You contact my father?" He asked resting his head on the others shoulder enjoying the warmth. He hoped he had talked to his brother again and he hoped that alex hasnt come by and bothered him, He opened his eyes and pulled Gio back some his hands going over his chest and his cheeks, "You okay? Alex didnt hurt you?" He asked worried about him the distress shown in his face.

[Anic]

Gio nodded softly as Kai asked about if he contacted his father. "He knows, he said in a low voice, glad that Kai let him hug him. But as Kai pushed him away and let his finger slide over Gio's chest and cheek Gio looked on Kai, surprised by his action.

"No, he never hurt me... I was more worried about you." he said and added a small smile as a finish to what he said.

 

Gio didn't do anything to get away from Kai, even if a voice in the back of his head whispered that this was wrong - Two males shouldn't act like this. Gio didn't listen to it and instead he gave Kai a curious gaze as he asked: "How do you feel Kai-sama?"

Kai smiled before hugging Gio again happy that he was safe and that Alex hadnt touched him. "I'm fine...just really sore." He said rubbing a soothing hand over Gio's back. "Thanks for looking after me." He said nodding softly, "So my dad does know? I would hate for us to get in trouble for staying home the past few days." He said leaning back against the headboard moving his hands to rest on Gio's side as he leaned back looking at him to look into his face as he spoke.

[Anic]

"I can only imagine." Gio answered to how Kai felt at the moment and hugged him back. "Yes, I told your dad about your condition and even cancelled some appointment and changed the dates for others... If everything with you heal as it should you don't have to worry about appointments at work for at least a month." Gio said and felt a bit at ease as he could tell Kai all this now. Somehow this current situation made him feel a bit uneasy and couldn't help but blush as he watched Kai lean back against the headboard. As his gaze meet Kai's he hastily adverted it to look at nothing special at all at the edge of the bed.

 

What am I bothered with? Why do I even react like I do? I'm happy that Kai is awake again, relived... And why is the only thing I can talk about in this situation workrelated? Gio thought as he noticed that maybe it would be a good idea to change the sheets in the bed. Gah! Even more distracting thoughts...

"Kai-sama I'm happy that you are awake again." he said as he finally broke free from his thoughts and gave Kai a bow as he sat beside him on the bed - completely out of his current conversation topic.

Kai smirked seeing Gio blush and look away from him. He nodded when he spoke, "Yea...you have told me that. How long did the doc say I would be in for? And did he find any other injuries other than these?" He asked looking down at his bandaged body. He looked back up at Gio seeing him. Kai lay with no shirt on and only shorts on his body. Everything else was able to be seen such as his muscles and abs. He moved his hand touching the ribs that he could see pressed against the side of his skin. "ouch..." He said wincing softly. He didnt want to worry Gio but it looked like he would be out longer than he wanted to be. He wished he could get back to work right away but that seemed impossible. He sighed and leaned his head back against the headboard breathing slighlty harder from the pain.

[Anic]

Gio looked up on Kai from his bow with a thoughtful gaze. "The doctor couldn't find anything more then what already is treated on you and he said that..." Gio stopped himself while watching Kai let his finger slide over himself and swallowed. "It depends on how fast you heal for when you can get back to work." He finished and was about to reach out a hand to stop Kai from poking his own ribs.

"Please don't do that sir." He said slightly worried as he left his hand in the air between them. Interrupted in what he was going to do and still ready for what ever else he could do beyond that.

 

"Do you want anything?" He asked, mostly thinking if Kai might need something from the kitchen.

Kai saw the other male reach out and he smiled softly. "I'm fine...just rest with me kay?" He said pulling on the hand that Gio had reached out and he slipped his arm around his shoulder. "I need the warmth." He said rubbing Gio's arms before pulling the covers up over them both. He layed his head in Gio's shoulder, "Just for awhile okay?" He asked with a whisper closing his eyes. He groaned softly again a pain shooting through his side. "H-hm.." he said softly and sighed lightly only to get another pain shoot through his stomach.

[Anic]

Gio was ready for whatever, but not for that. Surprised by Kai he somehow ended up with Kai close to himself with the words that Kai wanted to rest. "O-okay..." Gio answered and tried to give Kai a closer look on his shoulder as they lay there under the covers.

"Are you sure that you are okay?" Gio asked, worried as he noticed Kai's pain. When Kai was asleep Gio couldn't ask how he felt or notice much, but right now he was worried. He didn't like that Kai had this pain. "Want me to call the doctor?" Gio asked and slightly ignored that Kai said that he only wanted rest.

Kai shook his head and layed flat on his back with Gio at his side keeping him warm, "I'll be fine...no need to call him out on a weekend." He said looking at the alarm clock seeing it was a friday night. He sighed again the pain diminishing to a small shot here and there. He smiled lighlty, "You seem worried about me." He said to Gio teasing him lightly hoping he didnt take it seriously. But Kai was right, something had changed with Gio that was making him act as if he cared about Kai more than he was letting on. He thought a moment then remembered the pretend kiss at the diner. He looked over at Gio, Had Gio gotten to the point where he didnt want it to be fake anymore? Or was he just worried about his coullege?

[Anic]

Gio listened to what Kai said and gave him a insecure smile. "I'm worried because you seem too hurt. I don't want anyone to have to feel pain like you do right now." Gio said and adverted his gaze from Kai as he let go of a tired sight.

What Gio said was true, he didn't want anyone to hurt and Kai... Well Gio had been taking care of Kai the last days and he still wasn't sure how to react or act around the other male. His thoughts just didn't want him to focus on what he really felt like. But one thing for sure was that he really did his best to tell him self that Kai was only his superior and nothing else.

Gio gave the wall a silent stare as he didn't know what to do or say at the moment, and on top of that his eyes seemed like they felt it was a good idea to fall asleep right now - making him struggle to keep them open.

Kai smiled seeing Gio's eyelids start to move down. He kissed his cheek softly. "Thanks. For looking out for me." He said softly before laying flat taking Gio with him and hugging him. "Sleep, I'll keep you company throughout the night." He said softly before he himself started to doze off. "I'm not letting you up so you might as well just accept and sleep." He said again looking down at Gio as he fixed the younger males hair agian. He yawned and sighed happily seeing he had all weekend before he had to go to work again. Which ment he could drink this weekend. "Hey Gio...You want to drink again tomorrow?" He asked now playing with his hair. "I need a stress reliever...and seeing as i dont have a lover sex isnt going to work." He said giving a little chuckle before he sighed again closing his eyes. He knew the answer, it would be a no. He wasnt going to drink with him, cause he couldnt hold his alcohol that well.

[Anic]

Gio was surprised when Kai have him a kiss on the cheek and ad Kai pulled him down in a hug he blushed and said "K-kai...?" With a low stuttering voice as he tried to look at Kai.

Gio didn't know if he should complain or not, so all he did was looking confused as the suggestion of going to bed sounded truly tempting.

"Drinking? Sex?" Gio asked out loud while looking even more confused if that now was posible.

"You can't mean that you want to drink while you are in that state Kai-sama?" Gio asked and did a fruitless try to get up from the bed.

Kai shrugged, "Gio...come on have one drink with me?" He asked softly looking up at Gio. He was sad he was getting up to leave. He sighed laying back down, "One drink. Its not alot. I wont let you get drunk this time." he said and pulled on Gio's hand lightly. "we can drink in here...cause i can move." He chuckled softly moving his arm hurting him.

Kai shrugged, "Gio...come on have one drink with me?" He asked softly looking up at Gio. He was sad he was getting up to leave. He sighed laying back down, "One drink. Its not alot. I wont let you get drunk this time." he said and pulled on Gio's hand lightly. "we can drink in here...cause i can move." He chuckled softly moving his arm hurting him.

[Anic]

Gio gave Kai a thoughtful gaze and listened to him. but as he tried to convince him there would be no harm in it and then moved his own arm to only hurt - it made Gio even more sure that it wouldn't be a good idea.

"Kai-sama..." Gio said with a low sight as he turned to look straight at the other male. "Maybe you should at least wait for next week until you drink?" he asked with a begging tone. For Gio it sounded like a better idea then to do it so soon. He didn't care about himself at the moment, only Kai.

Kai sighed and layed back down on the bed. "Fine fine...just cause you dont want me to then fine." He said closing his eyes he yawned and smiled lightly, "Will you sleep with me then? Keep me warm during the night? Its either that or let me drink." He said peeking at Gio through one eye. He hoped that Gio would pick the drinking but he didnt mind spending a night in the arms of Gio...or rather Gio sleeping on his hurt shoudler. he wouldnt mind it at all, he would love it actually. He had always liked Gio since the moment he walked in and he spotted his cowlick in his hair.

[Anic]

Gio was relived that Kai reasoned and drop the drinking subject. But as he asked him to sleep with him he was both confused and surprised. That last days watching over Kai he had fallen asleep many times beside him. But not as close as Kai asked him to be.

"Kai-sama?" Gio asked and raised a eyebrow as he looked down on his superior. "Are you sure?" He asked with doubt in his voice. As all he could see was that Kai really meant it.

 

Gio was tired and couldn't think properly at the moment. And it did sound like a better idea then to drink. "Do you want something from the kitchen first?" Gio asked as he accepted Kai's propusal.

[Arekushisu]

Kai smiled looking up at Gio pulling him down to him. "No just your wramth is fine." He said wincing softly. He didnt really care anymore just was happy that Gio was okay with sleeping with him. He slipped his arms around his waist hugging him. "Thanks really...for everything. You are a good secretary." He said and yawned soflty. He rested his head on Gio's shoulder and dozed off falling into a deep sleep once again getting the rest he needed.

[Anic]

Yet another surprise from Kai to Gio. Gio gave his superior a surprised gaze before he gave him a silly smile as he almost fell asleep as Kai pulled him down and close to himself. "I'm only doing what a good secretary would do," he said with a soft modesty as Kai put his head on his shoulder. Gio noticed that Kai dozed off and whispered silently: " and I'm glad that I ended up as your secretary." before he too fell asleep.

-The Next Morning-

 

Kai woke to the warmth of another on him and he sighed softly opening his eyes feeling his muscles move against the bandages and he winced lightly. He looked down and laying on his chest was Gio snuggled up and still sleeping next to him. He smiled softly and moved his hand pushing back some of his hair. He yawned and settled back down remembering that they didnt have to go to work today. He stroked Gio's hair softly and slowly making sure not to wake him up. He sighed softly thinking closing his eyes again and he pictured himself standing alone, till Gio came up and the dark room became light again. He smiled at dream Gio and took his hand in his own touching his cheek softly. And Gio looked happy about it leaning into Kai's touch. He smiles and dream Gio leaned up on his toes and kissed Kai softly on the lips.

Kai opened his eyes and blushed softly not wanting to think of the possibility and he shouldnt even have it in mine. He rubed his eyes his other hand moving down Gio's back resting on his side pulling him slightly closer.

[Anic]

Gio that been a somewhat of a mess for the last days as he focused his care for Kai. He was happily asleep dreaming about bunnies. It was warm and for some strange reason he thought if felt like he hugged someone, as he slowly started to wake up he also thought it felt like he was embraced.

"Kai?" was the first that came to his mind as he realized that he was in bed with someone. The memory of falling asleep beside Kai in the bed came floating in his mind and he opened his eyes to see that he still was in Kai's arms. "Good morning." was all he had to say as he confused fixed his gaze on Kai.

Do Kai look happy? Did I say or do something in my sleep? he thought and smiled a insecure smile. He is so warm...

[Arekushisu]

Kai smiled softly and hugged Gio, "Morning." He said softly not wanting to be loud right after he woke up. He fought the urge to lean down and kiss the sleepy yet sexy Gio on the lips. "How did you sleep?" He asked instead the blush still lightly on his cheeks from his dream. His hand was stroking gio's side letting him know where it was just in case he couldnt tell or forgot. He felt so natural with him in his arms. Like the fact Gio was with him didnt matter. He felt at home with Gio. He was hoping he hadnt given anything up to gio when he spoke. Nothing to give away that he was thinking about him.

[Anic]

Gio closed his eyes just to feel the warmt better, he had never been in a embrace like this before, and he liked it.

As Kai spoke, asking if he had a pleasant sleep he gave the slightly blushing Kai another confused gaze.

"Y-yes." Was all he managed to say. Still unsure, he stayed as he was. He wanted to get up, but at the same time he wanted to stay like this. "I didn't wake you up or something?" Gio asked as he hoped that he wasn't the reason to why Kai was awake at the moment.

"Do you want anything?" He asked and did mean from the kitchen even if he, not thinking about it, left it as an open question -free to anything and everything.

kai smiled softly, "For you to be my pretend lover again...so you can kiss me like you did at the cafe." He said softly looking Gio in the eyes. "It was nice..." He said and looked away not wanting to make the other feel like he had to. "If you cant do that then just stay with me...dont get up okay?" He smiled softly knowing if the other moved it would hurt himself for Gio was on his chest.

[Anic]

Gio blinked surprised as he heard Kai's words. He almost said that he meant anything from the kitchen but kept quiet about that. Do Kai really mean that? It was only an act, it was not for real? was it? Gio thought and gave Kai a short stare at the same time. "A-are you s-sure?" he finally stuttered and swallowed his own fears. What is Kai only teased him?

 

Gio stopped himself from getting up from the surprise as Kai did ask him to stay. Gio saw Kai's smile and gambled on that what Kai said was true. He listened to his heart and not to his reasoning as he lowly whispered: "I would like to do a kiss like that with you again..."

Kai was shocked hearing the one words he wanted to hear but hadnt expected to come out. He slipped a hand to Gio's cheek moving his thumb over his cheek, "Are you sure? I dont want to make you do it..." He said leaning slightly closer to the other male happy about this but still weary if the other had just been sayijng that cause he was injured. He ran a thumb over Goi's lips as he looked into his eyes. "Dont...Force yourself to do this with me...you dont like me in this way and I know that...but..." He paused seeing what he was going to say...He was going to tell Gio that he liked him. He looked down and then without an answer from Gio, Kai pressed his lips against the others capturing them in a kiss.
