[Arekushisu]

Kai smiled seeing Gio get flustered. He knew it was wrong...that he shouldnt. He noticed he was getting sober and Kai took the chance. He leaned down and kissed Gio's lips gently. He stayed there a moment than set back up. "I may be you friend...but i think i am better at taking care of people rather than them take care of me." He said pulling the covers the rest of the way up to Gio's neck. He had hoped the kiss wasnt looked over but he also kinda wanted it to stay hidden...with Gio's drunk mind. "Goodnight Gio. I will wake you up tomorrow." He said standing slowly.

Gio's drunken brain froze when Kai kissed him and in like a magical stroke of a wand he was somewhat sober. Wait here. Is this a kiss? he thought but didn't say or do anything about it. Maybe it's a joke? But... earlier in the car he did say that his interests was with men? Somehow his body still acted drunk but his surprised brain seemed to work. But when Kai pulled the cover over him he could feel how tired he really was. Gio did try to say something to counter Kai's "Good night" but only managed to slurred something about: "I should wake you..." before his chocked and drunken brain put him to sleep. It was way to much information on one day for his poor brain.

Kai smiled seeing him fall asleep. He left the room shutting off the lights and shutting the door. He walked down to his room and stopped picking up his phone. He had so many messeges it was hard to count them all. He sighed and went to his room throwing it on the bedside table and getting it bed. He didnt mind staying in his clothes and just waited for morning. He dozed off thinking about Gio and his soft lips. He would wake him in the morning...hoping he remembered nothing.

[Anic]

Gio woke up with an evil headache. At first he only stared up on the roof. What was I doing last night? Didn't I start my new job yesterday? And what is this roof?! he thought and sat up in a fast movement that only made his head pounder even harder. This is not my home! Where- he interrupted his thoughts as he remembered the early evening of yesterday. "I'm at Kai's place!" he said out loud and looked around after his cloths. He didn't even know the time and he could hardly see without his glasses. What did I do yesterday?

 

Gio sat on the bed's edge and looked down on the floor. It was still dark outside so he guessed that he at least hadn't overslept anything. With some unsteady steps he walked to the door to peek outside it. He really felt like his head was going to explode, but he really needed to find the toilet. And after that he would find his cloths, glasses and figure out what time it was.

Kai woke up around five and started getting ready. He needed to be at work by seven and this gave him time to help with the hungover Gio. He went to the kitchen and started banging around plates starting to cook breakfast. He saw the light in Gio's room come on and he smiled. He walked over, "Morning. Toilets that way." He said pointing to the bathroom for the green faced Gio. After telling him he went back to the kitchen pulling of fresh scrambled eggs.

Kai woke up around five and started getting ready. He needed to be at work by seven and this gave him time to help with the hungover Gio. He went to the kitchen and started banging around plates starting to cook breakfast. He saw the light in Gio's room come on and he smiled. He walked over, "Morning. Toilets that way." He said pointing to the bathroom for the green faced Gio. After telling him he went back to the kitchen pulling of fresh scrambled eggs.

Gio looked at Kai as if he saw something he wasn't sure about. "Morn'." he replied in a sleepy voice and looked over at the toilet that Kai pointed out for him. With some unsteady steps he moved towards the toilet as Kai returned to the kitchen. He did what he needed and washed of his face so that he looked at least a bit more live then before. Why did I even say yes to the first beer yesterday? he thought and he looked at himself in the mirror. I look like crap...

 

He turned around and found his pants. He looked at them and made sure that they didn't look to bad before he pulled them on. He then turned around for his glasses but couldn't find them. Maybe I left them in the kitchen... he thought before he moved out to the kitchen and the seemly happy and alert Kai.

Kai smiled seeing Gio walk into the kitchen. He was slightly sad seeing he now wore pants. He walked over to him and pushed away the hair in his face and slipped his glasses on his face. "There you can see now." He chuckled happily and went back to the food putting the eggs on a plate for them both. He smiled pulling off the french toast and put it on the plates too. He went over to Gio and sat it infront of his chair and sat down. "Lets eat." He said with a happy grin on his face. He couldnt say he wasnt enjoying this.

[Anic]

Gio winced as Kai moved his hair and put his glasses on him. "T-thank you." he said in a low voice and turned away his gaze from Kai. When Kai turned his attention to the preparations of the food Gio went over to the table and sat down at it. He followed Kai's movements once again and in some way it seemed like he was more at ease today then he was yesterday.

 

He looked at the food that was placed before him. One half of his brain said that he didn't want to eat. The other part reminded him of how hungry he was. He listened to the second half and stared to eat when Kai said "Lets eat."

"Did something good happen yesterday?" he dared to ask in between his chews.

[Arekushisu]

Kai choked on his food looking up at Gio. "N-no why?" He asked wondering if he was coming off to happy that he and Gio were together...working together. He smiled eating again making sure he came off as less happy.

[Anic]

Gio couldn't help but be suspisios of Kai's reaction. "Hmm..." he said in a curious tone as he continued his food. Probably nothing special then. Maybe that stalker of his stopped trying. He thought. While sitting there eating his gaze wandered from the Kai that seemed like he tried to cover up something to his shirt on the chair beside him. Yea that's right I changed from my shirt to one of Kai's. We were drinking and that's why i have this evil headache now. After that I have some dizzy memories of me taking a bath. Then Kai helped me into bed... There is something missing in my memories... Don't like... During the time he was thinking he gave the shirt a distance stare. It almost looked as it had done him something wrong as he sat there eating his breakfast.

Kai stood and put his plate up. He heard the beeping of the phone again and flinched dropping the plate onto the floor and shattering it. He cut his hand and he cursed aloud picking up the pieces. He threw them in the sink, He had completly forgotten about the male that had been fighting for his attention. He groaned and wrapped his hand in a towel and went to the couch picking it up. He looked at it and read the messege again. It said he was here....outside the door. With that a knock sounded and Kai dropped his phone and went to the door and opened it. His ex stood there.

[Anic]

Gio looked up on Kai with a surprised look on his face when he stood up and dropped the plate. But it soon turned worried when he saw that he cut himself. "Kai-sama!" he said as he stood up and tried to help him with the plate, but figured he only was in the way at the moment so be backed of to leave room. Gio looked after Kai as he stepped out to the living room and sneaked up to the door to peek on his superior as he walked over to the front door, that some one knocked on, and opened it. Gio was confused with the situation and wondered who the other guy might be. And since Kai hadn't said anything Gio believed that maybe he should just observe for a while. Something wasn't right, and his head was still killing him.

[Arekushisu]

"Kai!!" The man at the door yelled and wrapped his arms around Kai's neck hugging him. Kai looked at him and smiled slightly, "What are you doing here Alex?" he asked sighing slightly. He had found him already.

 

Alex's bottom lip puffed out in a pout as he looked up at Kai. "I came to see you since you keep ignoring my call." He said kissing kai quickly and looking up at him. "I didnt say we broke up and i dont accept it yet." He smiled sweetly. He was then and slender in body. He wore tight fitting clothes that hung onto his curvers just right.

 

Kai sighed, "Alex....we broke up. End of story." He said pushing at Alex to put him out the door. Alex pushed back, "You dont have a lover do you? Kai..." He tried despratly and Kai pushed him to the entrance, "Alex, i do have a lover." He said looking at the other set of shoes on the floor.

[Anic]

Gio stepped back into the kitchen out of sight from the door after he seen the man Kai called Alex kiss Kai. Even if he had a really really bad headache he couldn't help but listen to the tows conversation. That Alex guy seemed to be a really clingy one somewhat Gio felt bad for them both. Kai because he wanted to end it and the Alex guy because he didn't want to end it.

 

When Gio heard that Kai said that he had a lover he gazed at the door opening, couldn't help but being curious of what kind of reaction Alex would make. Maybe he should get himself ready to protect Kai if needed, the earlier story of the police and such. Was this the same guy? And if Kai had a lover, what would Alex do about him?

 

With a frustrated hand he messed up his hair while trying to make a quick decision on what to do. One thing was sure, if he needed he would try to protect Kai at all costs. Because that would be the right thing to do of the secretary to the company owners son?

Kai looked at Alex agian just fast enough to get a slap to the face. He turned his head with the slap and caught Alex's hand with his own. He knew Gio had to have heard some of the conversation and if not he would hear the slap. Kai slowly looked at Alex. "Are you done?" He asked looking with clear frustration. He pushed him out to the hall outside the home and held the door ready to close it. "My lover is here now...so if you would go that would be nice." He said shutting the door on Alex. He sighed hesitantly locking the door.

 

He stood there listening to Alex cry and bang on the door. He turned holding his cheek and then he spotted Gio. His eyes got wide then he looked to the ground.

Kai looked at Alex agian just fast enough to get a slap to the face. He turned his head with the slap and caught Alex's hand with his own. He knew Gio had to have heard some of the conversation and if not he would hear the slap. Kai slowly looked at Alex. "Are you done?" He asked looking with clear frustration. He pushed him out to the hall outside the home and held the door ready to close it. "My lover is here now...so if you would go that would be nice." He said shutting the door on Alex. He sighed hesitantly locking the door.

 

He stood there listening to Alex cry and bang on the door. He turned holding his cheek and then he spotted Gio. His eyes got wide then he looked to the ground.

[Anic]

Gio looked around the corner as he heard the slap, ready to run in to save Kai in what ever way he could. He stopped as he saw how Kai pushed Alex outside and closed the door on him and his words about his lover being here confused him. "Kai-sama! Are you alright?" Gio asked as he walked up to him holding out his hands as if he was thinking the thought of grabbing him in a comforting way.

 

But if Kai's lover where here, then where was he hiding? Gio gazed over at the shoes and could only see his and Kai's. Maybe he didn't take them of, or Kai was lying to Alex that still seemed like he wanted to get in.

"Should we call the police?" Gio dared to ask as he found Alex way to creepy at the moment.

[Arekushisu]

Kai smiled slightly seeing Gio move to help him. He stumbled forward slightly touching his face. "No we dont need to he will get tired soon and leave." He said walking past Gio and fixing his hair on the way. He went to the fridge and pulled out a cold icepack and put it on his cheek sighing. "He does this all the time. It's normal." He winced remembering his fingers and the pack on his cheek stung. He was having bad luck it seemed.

[Anic]

Gio blinked surprised as Kai as he just walked past him and gave the door a glare. "But Kai-sama, It's not normal for a person to act that way. He should... ehm..." Gio hesitated on what he was going to say, not sure if his words was the right choice at the moment. "...he should know his place and have some kind of punishment for his behavior."

There he said it. Gio stretched his back and looked directly on Kai that he found looking really fragile at the moment. He got the urge to walk up to him and give him a comforting hug, but stopped only after one step. Somehow it wouldn't be a good idea that the secretary hugged his superior?

[Arekushisu]

Kai smiled happy Gio was there. If he wasnt he might have broke down right there on the spot. He ran his fingers under the water in the sink washing the blood off. He looked back at Gio, "Thank you...for helping." He said. He turned his attention to his hand again cussing under his breath once more. He leaned against the side letting the sting of his hand take away from the one in his heart. He stood there moments wondering if Gio would offer to help...hug him....even help dress his wound.

[Anic]

Gio didn't know what to do, but one thing knew that he could do was to help Kai at least with the wound he got from the plates earlier. He walked up beside Kai and looked down on the hand he washed. "Let me see that." he said and reached for Kai's hand. "Were do you keep your band aid?" he asked and looked up on Kai he had beside him. He knew how to take care of a wound, how many times hadn't he taken care of his brothers scratches from when they were small?

[Arekushisu]

Kai blushed feeling Gio's hands on his own. He could smell the soft shampoo he used and the smell of him. He sighed and looked to him hearing the last of the question. "Oh in the cabnit above the toilet in the bathroom." He said watching as Gio gently touched the wound looking up at him with concentration. He smiled again seeing him leave and come back with the band aids. He kept still leaning against the back of the sink as he put the band aid on and when he was finished he looked at Gio who was throwing away the trash. "Thank you." He said again after a moment.

[Anic]

"Are you all right?" Gio asked Kai as he finished of what he was doing. Can't be easy to be Kai at the moment, dropping plates, getting cut and have a visit by a clingy ex. "Just tell me if you need anything. I'm here to help you right?" he asked as he turned towards Kai with a warm comforting smile on his lips. He didn't like to see Kai in this state, no one should have to be exposed for this. "So don't hesitate to ask me for anything."

[Arekushisu]

Kai smiled and rested his forehead on Gio's shoulder. "Anything huh?" He asked hugging him tightly with on hand around his waist so he couldnt get away. "Then...let me stay like this...for at least a small time." He said feeling the silent tears fall down his cheeks. He was happy Gio couldnt see him or the tears. He would probably feel them though. He knew it wasnt right for him to show this to him but he couldnt stop them.

[Anic]

Gio hesitated when Kai hugged him. But the thought did struck him before that he should comfort him in some way, and if a hug was what he needed he could gladly share one with him. Gio didn't try to get lose on anything, but returned the hug and couldn't help but liking the feeling of someone in his arms. He didn't comment anything, he figured that words wouldn't be the beast idea in this situation anyway. Instead he gave him a comforting pat on the back and stayed like that until Kai said it was enough.

Kai waited until the tears were long gone before he let go of Gio looking away from him. He pulled on his shoes he been dressed for work before Gio had even gotten up. He spoke behind him not turning, "I will go first...you can come whenever." He said not waiting for the answer and getting in the car. He didnt want Gio to see him like that anymore..never again did he want to seem that broken to him.
