Behind the desk (Arekushisu & Anic (Private))

[Anic]

Gio tried to understand how Kai felt, but he never been in this kind of situation before, never ever close to it. He followed Kai to the door and was ready to leave with him, but remembered he still had the shirt he sleept in on. And when Kai said that he would go first and Gio later he couldn't help but feel like some part if this situation was his fault. "Okay..." Was all Gio bothered to say as Kai drow away and left him there on his own.

 

Instead of doing nothing he got dressed in the right cloths, picked up his things and took the first bus to work. Taking no unnessesary extra time for anything. He was still Kai's secretary, and he was going to be a good one, ignoring the headache that felt like it tried to eat his head.

Kai walked into the company saying hi to the people who greeted him. He went to his office slamming the door. His day had already started out bad just by at the home. He was happy he had Gio though. Waiting for him and caring for him. He smiled lightly then it fell. He was thinking about Gio all wrong. He was just his secratury he wasnt his lover. He sighed turning on his computer and checking his emails and instantly regretting it seeing pics of alex and emails all from him.

Gio did his best to take the fastest way to the company. With a proud, yet insecure smile he greeted everyone that even gave him a gaze. He got to his desk and looked on Kai's Office door. He believed that Kai was in there, or more he hoped he was.

 

Gio put down his things behind the desk and sat down to see if there was anything new on the meeting list. He ruffled his hair as he stroke his forehead in a try to ease his headache. He turned on the tablet and stared at the schedule for the day.

With a sigh he got up from the chair and walked over to Kai's door and knocked it.

Kai sighed again looking at the screen reading a sad break up letter from Alex when the knock came on his door. He looked up and groaned. He hoped it wasnt someone he didnt like. "Come in." He said leaning back in his chair. He couldnt help the bad mood. He face still hurt and his fingers were sore. He just wanted to go home for today. He didnt want to go to the meeting he knew he had to go to. He closed his eyes putting his hands behind his head.

[Anic]

Gio opened the door carefully as he head Kai's words to enter. "It's me." He said whit a insecure smile as he stepped into the office with the tablet. "I have a work related question." He said and his gaze wander up and down on Kai. To him he looked tired as he sat there in the chair leaning back with closed eyes. But at the same time he looked like someone that woulden't give up in the first place.

 

"Mind to share where this meeting is going to be held?" He asked and reached out the tablet towards Kai to let him see what meeting he meant. He had the urge to ask Kai about how he felt, but didn't dare to upset or anger him with private questions now. Not a good idea at work, but somewhat Kai grow in his eyes as someone that he wanted to protect, like a friend or a brother.

Kai sighed looking at the tablet then sitting back again. "Its at the cafe down the street. It's the customers favorite place for lunch so he asked to meet me there." he said looking Gio up and down. He noticed the sick look on his face. "Is that hangover killing you?" he asked. He wanted to make sure he was okay. "For the meeting you wont come with me...you can do whatever you want until time to go. He wants to see me in private." He said leaning on the desk motioning for him to sit.

[Anic]

Gio looked at the tablet when Kai told him about the meeting. And when he asked about his hangover he gave him an innocent smile. "Do I look that bad?" He asked and thought about what he shoul do during Kai's meeting but couldn't come up with anything productive.

"Is there anything you would like me to do while I wait?" He asked as he sat down with a sigh. Somehow the chair really feelt good at the moment. He gave Kai a curious look, not sure about much at the moment, but was his memories really that bad that he couldn't remember everything from yesterday?

Kai smiled lightly leaning on the desk, "You do look slightly sick." he said. "No i dont have anything really...just shop around look for anything you want. Or eat out...yea, it will be lunch then." He smiled again hearing his computer make a noise. He looked at it sighted and turned it off. "He keeps messing with me...wont leave me alone unless i get another lover and i tell it to him straight. He wants to meet the 'lover' i mentioned this morning." He laughed putting his head in his hands. "There isnt one though...and he is going to find out and think we are still together." He siad sighing again. He sounded almost old to his own ears.

[Anic]

"Eat lunch sounds like a good idea." Gio said with a thoughtful smile pretending he didn't hear the part of him looking sick. And the sound from the computer even made him curious and couldn't help but look at Kai as he turned it of. "Meet you lover?" He asked thoughtful of what Kai told him. "He will only leave you if you moved on? Do that 'lover' have to be your real lover?" Gio was struck by an idea. "What if I would pretend to be your new lover? Would that make him give up?"

Gio wasn't sure about this. But if it could work why not? He didn't want his superior look broken and tired all the time because of a ex boyfriend stalker.

Kai smiled at the idea Gio had thrown out. He tapped his chin thinking.

 

"It may work...though he is going to want proof. Like a kiss...or something. He is going to want me to show him i'm over him. Can you do that? I dont want to make you do something you dont want to." he said laying his head on his arms looking at Gio. "It would help alot." He siad adding it in. He didnt mind the idea if it helped him get rid of the ex that was sadly stallking him.

[Anic]

"Yea... I figured he would like proof." Gio answered with a insecure, yet worried smile. Making him look truly silly. "I know i would too." He said as his smile turned to a crocked one.

"But the thrut is Kai-sama... I don't have any experience with relationships."

 

Gio watched Kai with a thoughtful gaze as kai leaned on the desk. 'Could I really kiss Kai? It wouldn't mean anything right?' He thought and leaned back in the chair. "I can try, who knows, maybe he don't need to see us kiss." He said with a smile as the thought 'what am I doing?' showed up in his brain as he had his gaze fixed on Kai. 'It will mean nothing right?'

Kai smiled and stood. "Yea...it could work...though if he does ask your okay with kissing me right? It would only be to show him nothing more." He said walking around to Gio and sitting on his desk. "As long as your okay with it. I dont want to tell him then have it all fall apart." He said already pulling out his phone to tell Alex he would meet up tonight for dinner and drinks. "You're sure?" he asked ready to send the text.

Kai smiled and stood. "Yea...it could work...though if he does ask your okay with kissing me right? It would only be to show him nothing more." He said walking around to Gio and sitting on his desk. "As long as your okay with it. I dont want to tell him then have it all fall apart." He said already pulling out his phone to tell Alex he would meet up tonight for dinner and drinks. "You're sure?" he asked ready to send the text.

[Anic]

"Yea, I think I... Ehm... Can do that." He said with a slight hint of hesitation in his voice. Gio followed Kai with his gaze and looked up on him as he sat down on the desk. "I'll do my best. What kind of secretary would I be else?" He asked and finished the sentence with a laugh. In a try of being funny, lighten up the mood.

Kai smiled and sent the text. "Good. We meet with him tonight." He smiled and fixed Gio's hair that was still smoothed to the side lightly. He ruffled it up making it look slightly messy but attractive rather than having it just sitting there. I looked at it and thought then moved it to the side out of his eyes. He smiled happy with it for now. "Your going to have to let me cut your hair one of these days." he winked and went back around to his desk sitting down.

[Anic]

"Okay." Gio answered and nodded. "I can do this." He said, mostly to himself as he looked up on Kai. When Kai started to move around his hair he tried to look up on what he was doing and tried. to sit still. "Cut my hair?" He asked surprised and keept his gaze on Kai as he sat down again.

 

Gio looked on the watch before he gave Kai a slightly serious look. "It's time for that meeting of yours." He said as he stood up, getting himself ready to something. 'Seriuosly... I can be such a mood killer.' He thought as he looked at Kai.

Kai sighed his smile falling. He stood getting his things and walking to Gio. "Lets get going then." he said flashing him a smile before he pulled on him walking to the door. He walked out of the building to his car opening the door for Gio. He slid in after him and sat his phone in the seat just in case it went off again.

Gio followed Kai without a word and grabbed his workphone on the way as they passed his desk. When ge got into the car he turned to Kai with a curious look on his face. "What will this meeting be about?" He dared to ask, curious to know about it.

Kai smiled hearing the question. "Its about him buying some products from us. Though I am going to have to...go to great lengthes to get him to buy...thats why i will be gone for about two hours." He said hoping Gio got the hint why he would go alone. His father had been using Kai's great body to get clients seeing as he was likable by men. He really didnt want to have to tell it straight out to him worried on how he would look at him after finding out he had to sleep with other men to get them to buy.

[Anic]

"Oh, I see." He answered a bit surprised as he looked over at Kai. "Somehow I believed only women would do that kind of affair." He said as he broke his gaze from Kai and loket at the mirror on the side of the car instead. "I don't think that I would be able to do a think like that." He said truthfully.

[Arekushisu]

Kai smiled lightly looking out the window. "I dont choose to do it...my father tells them i will for me and then he tells me if i dont i lose my job. Which i dont like this job anyway...but i cant seem to turn the men down...its like betraying my father it seems." he said telling the honest truth from his heart. He wanted to tell Gio all of it. He didnt want to lie anymore, he was tired of it. He didnt want to sleep around anymore than Gio did. He just couldnt tell them no knowing his father would be hurt by it.

Kai smiled lightly looking out the window. "I dont choose to do it...my father tells them i will for me and then he tells me if i dont i lose my job. Which i dont like this job anyway...but i cant seem to turn the men down...its like betraying my father it seems." he said telling the honest truth from his heart. He wanted to tell Gio all of it. He didnt want to lie anymore, he was tired of it. He didnt want to sleep around anymore than Gio did. He just couldnt tell them no knowing his father would be hurt by it.

Gio returned his gaze to Kai. "Have you ever talked to your father about it?" He asked in a somewhat worried tone. "Maybe he could look for an other way if he knew your feelings?"

 

Gio didn't know Kai's father, he could only imagen him after his own father and thoughts. "Or maybe you should betray your father if he can't see that it hurts you?" Ha dared to say. Not really sure if it was the right thing to say. But he was still ready to support Kai and not only as a secretary, but as a friend too.

Kai smiled, "No...i havnt talked to him because i know my father. He wont care what i say or feel. He just uses me and i let him." He sighed telling the honst truth. That is how he felt. "Thanks though Gio." he said looking back out the window. He looked at his phone when it rang. He answered then he hung up after hearing the one sentence that didnt even need an answer. He leaned up talking to the driver. "The location has changed. Take me to the love hotel next to that cafe." he said nodding at the driver and setting back in his seat and sighing. He really hated doing this. He did...he didnt like it at all.

Gio gave Kai a neutral look, as if not much was going on in his brain, but in fact it was struggling with what Kai had told him and a headache that didn't want to let go of him. "Ne, Kai-sama..." Gio said as he leaned closer with his hand by his mouth to whisper to Kai. "I don't want to ruin anything with this buyer, but If I would pretend to be your lover at this point too? Maybe he could back of?"

 

Gio didn't know what to say or do, all he needed to know was that Kai didn't like this one bit. That was at least what he could understand from his expresion. And there for he needed to do something.

Kai smiled lightly some of the dread he was feeling lifting. "No...if i brought you in he would ask you to join us whether you were my lover or not." He ruffled Gio's hair. "I'll be fine. Its only for an hour then i can leave." he said seeing the hotel coming into view. He saw the client on the side of his door ready to open it for him. He sighed and straightened his tie and fixed his hair in the mirror. "I'll see you in an hour." he said flashing him a smile before the car door opened and the man said hello and Kai stood and hugged the man feeling his hands move south. He slapped one. "Wait until we are out of public eye." he said and shut the door watching the car drive off. He nodded to the man and they walked into the hotel together.

Kai smiled lightly some of the dread he was feeling lifting. "No...if i brought you in he would ask you to join us whether you were my lover or not." He ruffled Gio's hair. "I'll be fine. Its only for an hour then i can leave." he said seeing the hotel coming into view. He saw the client on the side of his door ready to open it for him. He sighed and straightened his tie and fixed his hair in the mirror. "I'll see you in an hour." he said flashing him a smile before the car door opened and the man said hello and Kai stood and hugged the man feeling his hands move south. He slapped one. "Wait until we are out of public eye." he said and shut the door watching the car drive off. He nodded to the man and they walked into the hotel together.

Gio didn't say much, he didn't know what to say. He watched as Kai greeted the client and couldn't help but be slightly annoyed of his behavior towards Kai. If he wasn't left in the car he would made sure that the man would have seen the glare he gave him. But as he couldn't show it to the man he sighed and hoped that it would be okay with Kai for now. He went somewhere to eat and his headache was slightly nicer to him now. As he finished what he ordered as a small restaurant that he could afford at the moment he looked down on his cellphones watch. It was almost time to pick up Kai again. He managed to get his way back to the car and the hotel, and he stood outside the last minutes, watching the minutes change on his cellphone as he waited.
