The Truth In The Water (Arekushisu + SakiOda)

[Arekushisu]

Aoi thought the day went by fast. He walked home with his friend and then ditched his clothes changing into swim trunks. He ran down the path to the beach and dived in the water. He swam the small ten feet and pulled himself up on the rock. He looked up at the sky seeing it was still no moon. He sighed laying on his back closing his eyes and breathing hard. He missed the sounds of the ocean and the sounds of the waves. He smiles letting the cool ocean breeze fall over him. He was hoping to see his crush tonight...the one person he couldnt forget about no matter how much he tried.

[Veil]

Swimming up he lightly pulled himself up and touched the boys face, He looked asleep he looked like he was so calmed. It was to bad these two could not just swim off together and live in the ocean together happily, His eyes looked over the boy and figured he would at least peck the sleeping figure. Lightly he leaned over the boy and kissed his lips gently the long purple locks falling over his shoulders, the ears he had looked like fins and he could still speak but he hand to pretend. Nudging the boys arms gently Tasa looked at him, hoping he would wake up soon.

Aoi felt the warm lips on his. He let his eyes flutter open remembering the feeling from when he was younger. This person was him. He looked him over sitting up slowly. He saw the purple hair...looking just like Haro's and the tail looking just like his from later today. He squinted looking at his eyes seeing they were red...just like his. "Haro?" He asked sitting up fully to see the person.

Aoi felt the warm lips on his. He let his eyes flutter open remembering the feeling from when he was younger. This person was him. He looked him over sitting up slowly. He saw the purple hair...looking just like Haro's and the tail looking just like his from later today. He squinted looking at his eyes seeing they were red...just like his. "Haro?" He asked sitting up fully to see the person.

Haro shook his head lightly tapping his chest, He was pretending to be mute so he did his best to speak without speaking since it would give him away, Haro moved his lips and pretended to try to speak. No sound escaped his lips stopped and put into a smile as he lightly touched the boys face, that simple little face that Haro saw so many years ago was right in front of him.

 

Touching his face he turned to loop up at the new moon and pointed at it, To merfolk the moon was like a god to them and he hoped that aoi knew that the moon is something they watch it was mostly the new and full moons that they would gather together to watch. Haro looked back to him as he lifted his hand to touch Aoi's face again.

Aoi saw him shake his head and him move to his chest. He couldnt speak. He was mute and or just didnt want to talk with him. Aoi nodded letting him know that he understood the fact he couldnt speak. When the hand came up to touch his face he leaned into it but as fast as it was there it was gone and the boy was excitedly pointing out the moon. Aoi was slightly disapointed knowing the boy didnt come here for him but for the moon itself. He smiled lightly and turned his head kissing the others hand gently. "What do i call you then?" He asked looking up at the boy. The water made blue colors fall across his body and the moon let a bright color over him. Aoi thought he was beautiful.

Haro shrugged he didnt think of having a name then he thought prince that would be an okay name as long as this boy didnt discover that this boy infront of him was the very same boy he met this morning, haro lifted his hands doing a crown shape above his head hoping the boy would understand what he was trying to say.

 

Haro smiled softly and patted his head gently hoping this was enough for this boy to get solace in meeting his savor in the very same water he was saved in, of course the longer Haro sat here like this his tail would dry from the gently wind that blew. Haro moved lightly putting the water on his tail so he could give this more happiness.

Aoi laughed slightly seeing him make a crown over his head, "You name is prince?" He asked watching him put water over his tail. "So you turn just like Haro does? Do you go to school?" He asked getting excited that they could talk outside of the water also. He wanted to spend time with him, get to know him. "Maybe we could meet up outside of the water." He said smiling a bright smile at him. He was acting just like a child but he couldnt help it.

Shaking his head tapping his throat again and then made walking fingers trying to cancel them out trying to make him understand that he was confied to the water but of course he couldn't let the boy know that he was the very same person, he pointed out to aoi as he looked to the side he had a small blush on his face but he hoped that aoi understood what he was trying to say.

Aoi smiled grabbing princes moving fingers. "Okay, okay i get it you cant get out of the water." He smiled. "But i can come see you again right?" He asked looking up at his house. It was getting late and he needed to be home to get at least some rest. He leaned forward and pecked his cheek lightly, "Thank you. I will see you again." He said standing and diving into the water and swimming off to shore. He got on the beach looking back and waved.

he nodded and the boy before him seemed to wanna ask another question so he nodded again, his eyes followed the boys and his eyes widened it was unbelievable, This boy he met today for the second time today lived less than a few blocks from him, meaning he comes to this shore a lot. during his space out he heard a splash and that caused tasa to look down to the splash as he watched him swim, Haro needed to go in as well. He waited for the chance to go in as he swam to his spot and began trying his tail.

Climbing up the steps to his home he looked back out into the ocean. He couldnt see the shore but he could see farther out into the blue water. He loved the view from his room. He could see the rock from there. He slipped into the door of his home hearing his father snoring in the room down the hall. He moved to the stairs and silently tiptoed up them stopping at the top. Hearing his father snore again he sighed and walked to his room opening and closing the door silently. He went to the window and looked out not seeing Prince on the rock. He sighed this time in dissapointment and slipped off his swimsuit and put on a pair of jeans. He didnt bother with a shirt. He sunk into his bed and rolled onto his side. He was in love with that person. Prince....his name....wonder if he was a real prince or that is just his name. Aoi laughed and started dozing off dreaming about him and Prince swimming together into the ocean.

Haro snuck home, and snuck into his room, His mother who cared for him at night was already fast asleep, Haro prepped his clothes and looked at his phone seeing no messages he went to get ready for bed stripping out of the clothes he was wearing and into his night shorts he opened the window, he let out a sigh. "Its gonna rain tomorrow i wont beable to go to school I wonder if mother would drive me home after school." he turned lightly looking out at the sea and just pouted slightly. Haro fell asleep silently wrapped up in his blanket.

Aoi woke to the sound of the waves lapping at the shore. He smiled and stretched smelling his mom cooking breakfast that he wouldnt be able to eat. He looked at the clock and groaned. He was late. He jumped out of bed and went to the clothes he laid out the other night and smiled slipping them on. He slipped on his swimsuit under his clothes so he could take them off quickly to swim. He went down the stairs fully dressed. He hugged his mom and said bye to his dad and walked out of the door to see his friend. His smile faded slightly and he recovered hugging him and starting to walk off. They were both talking today a conversation that hadn't happened in a long time. they laughed and talked about girls. Aoi wished he could say something about Prince but knew better. He spotted Haro walking down the side walk and he ran up to him and slipped an arm around his shoulders. "Morning." He said smiling seeing he was alone today.

Waking up this morning Haro felt groggy and and yet he looked excited, he could not wait till it rained but what could he do when he had to skip out of school early, his mom had told him she would make up an excuse and be there when others we down at lunch, he could easily run into the rain and get into the car if he needed to. as he left the house chewing on a poptart to his surprise aoi came up wrapping his arm around haro's shoulders. "Good morning aoi" looking over at him he seemed overly happy. "Anything happen last night?"

Aoi smiled and looked behind him at his friend that was talking to a group of girls. He turned back to Haro, "Yea i met him just like you said. He is wonderful. Such a beautiful person. I figured out his name too...Prince. Though i dont know if he ment he was a prince or that is his name...." He thought a moment then shrugged. "Either way he is my Prince." He said laughing and jumping infront of Haro to walk backwards infront of him. "What you do last night? You watch the moon?" He asked knowing Haro didnt want to hear alot about his life. He was probably just staying so he didnt tell.

"I watched that and the boy you talked to" he said he felt oddly jealous it seemed weird to him that he felt jealous of someone who he acted as but hearing it from him he let out a sigh. "Anyway did you tell him thank you? Of course he did not want to be mean to Aoi but just to see if he would talk about it more and what he would say. Haro looked at him curiously.

Aoi smiled, "I did and he even kissed me." He winked, "Thought i was asleep and i wasnt." He laughed lightly putting his hands behind his head. "The water fell over him in such a beautiful way." He smiled his cheeks turning red. "I'm sorry haro making you listen to all this." He said. "The moon was pretty....the parts i could look at anyway." He smiled seeing his friend run to him and he waved at Haro and let his arm fall around his friends waist as his went across his shoulder.

"No no its fine, This prince guy seems interesting" he watched the actions with his friend he got even more jealous and spoke lowly "Ill catch you later" he took off to get inside he did not want to spend more then five seconds where he could see people touching up on the guy he had a crush on. He knew Haro's secret and yet Haro had two other secrets, One was he was prince, and the other well he was starting to fall for Aoi. Haro shook his head and let out a soft sigh. "The sooner he forgets that secret the sooner i can move on"

Aoi watched Haro go into the school as his friend pulled him to the side sterring him to the lockers. He put up all of his things and started heading to class. He knew for sure that he was in love with prince. Even though he didnt know him well e still loved all of him. From his silence to his tail he loved it all. Aoi sat down in the chair looking across the courtyard. On the other side a class was in session and he could see Haro through the window. He smiled when he looked at him. He liked him too and was happy he had helped him out.

Aoi watched Haro go into the school as his friend pulled him to the side sterring him to the lockers. He put up all of his things and started heading to class. He knew for sure that he was in love with prince. Even though he didnt know him well e still loved all of him. From his silence to his tail he loved it all. Aoi sat down in the chair looking across the courtyard. On the other side a class was in session and he could see Haro through the window. He smiled when he looked at him. He liked him too and was happy he had helped him out.

Haro was unable to focus in class as he leaned on his hand he looked out the window seeing Aoi looking at him he blushed and looked to his papers as he bit his lip, He decided to draw through the rest of the class next period he could not remember if Aoi was doing the next period joint class, but Haro watched the clock he wanted to get out of the class as soon as he could. luckily he could leave right after the joint class. Haro looked at his picture and blushed as he managed to draw a kissing scene he closed his note book waiting for the bell.

Aoi knew he had a joint class next hour but he was hoping the pass he had to swim would get him out. He smiled hearing the bell pulling up his books. He looked over seeing Haro do the same and rush out of class. Aoi nodded to his friend that walked up to him talking away about a girl that had touched his thigh in art. He laughed at something stoping at his locker getting his goggles and he smiled seeing his friend do the same. They went to the coach this morning and asked for a pass to use the pool this hour just the two of them. He knew that his friend may not make it but he didnt care, he would go anyway. Aoi started walking to his class saying bye to his friend and smiling to himself. He wanted to swim so bad he wanted it. To feel the water on his body caressing him gently. He missed the feeling and wanted ot go out again tonight...to swim and see prince if he could.

Haro just wanted to get out before the ran hit he watched the time, Still no call to get out. His paitence was wearing on him but they could leave the main building without a pass and that pass had to be given by the teachers or principle, his next class dealt with water, it was some dumb thing that he really wanted to stay away from it if he had the choice, Thinking as least he can talk to the PE coach and maybe get out of it. He walked to him asking, to haro's surprise he had agreed and told him to report to the pool. Nodding Haro ran there.

Aoi jumped into the water off the diving board. He swam up smiling happily. He broke the surface still his friend still not there. He knew he wouldnt make it. He swam to the side resting his head on his arms. He was lonely and wanted to swim with someone. He sighed hearing come off the walls and come back to him. He closed his eyes and listened to the sound of the water. He was happy...wanting to see someone so bad he couldnt concintrate on anything.

[Veil]

Opening the door Haro sneeking in just as it started to ran Haro ran quickly before he changed and dove into the water his lips parted as he came up let out a sigh the tail and ears he let out a small sigh as he looked over, he blinked seeing aoi Resting in a corner. Haro Blinked lightly he prayed he didnt just dive into a pool with anyone else inside, the downpour rain making a gentle noise on the roof. "Aoi?"

Aoi turned hearing the splash in the water. He saw Haro come up out of the water and he smiled swimming over to him. "Haro? You decide to take a swim?" he asked, "Dont worry no one else is here. Just me." He smiled staying above water with ease. He loved the water and the rain abovem made it slightly darker in the room but the blue color from te water was still visible.
