Name: Light Wolf.

 

Light is 6feet tall has white hair and golden eyes. He likes sweets and has a girly attitude... people don't see his good side. They see the boy who wants to be left alone and will kill you if you mess with him.

Name: Yuu Sasaki.

 

5' 8"

Yuu has fair skin, azure eyes, artificially coloured black hair (act of defiance, actually found he liked the colour so it was kept.) Lanky, stronger than he looks. He has a fondness for any form of caffeine and is quite addicted to it, due to his chronic insomnia. He doesn't talk often and only will when he needs to...

Light sighs and lays a his head on this desk "how long till school is out for the day" he asks himself. He looks out the window to see the sakura blossom tree in full bloom. Light doesn't have any friends but he wishes on days like today that he did. The teacher and everyone in class try to ignore him.

A pen is clicked repeatedly against the surface of one of the student desks, the sound louder than it ought to have been, drawing annoyed sighs and glances from those near himself. Yuu couldn't have cared less however, for they were all annoying enough on their own. For example, he sat in-between a happy coupe; one sat in front of him, the other behind. They were so excited about their relationship that it seemed they couldn't stand keep from having a conversation for a the duration of their lesson, trying to toss notes to each other over his shoulder, or head. The action had ceased with a few less than pleasant words from the sandwiched male's mouth and now he sat, waiting for the bell to dismiss them. Glances around the room told him the same thought was on many others' minds as well, to the point of their instructor getting suspicious. Anymore of this and they'd all be held back for another half-hour.

Light finally looks around the room. He had noticed the clicking sound but had ignored it. Now though he thought it was funny. He picks up his pen and starts to click glancing broadly around the room. The teacher had kept them all after school because the class wouldn't shut up. Now they were all quite and if the teacher tries to keep them here longer he can say that it's against the law. Kids must be off school property by 4:00 or they could be charged with trespassing. The teacher look angrily at Light and he smiled in return an evil devilish smile.

Another note was attempted to be passed between the couple, only to be crumpled up and stuffed into Yuu's pocket. Disgruntled mumbles followed this, as if it were an unthinkable thing to do. Vaguely, it had registered in his mind, that even after he'd stopped doing so, the sound of the clicking continued on. He sighed, letting the pen drop to the floor, a feasible excuse to get up and ask to be excused for a drink at the water bubbler. The instructor reluctantly agreed and with a snide glance at the love birds he made his way out of the classroom, heading off in the direction of his book bag. Of course, it was never his intention to stay longer than need be and the old man behind the desk obviously didn't understand the meaning of a part-time job.

Light New that he had to go soon. The school was to be closed in a few minutes. He stands and says I have work so I'm going. The teacher tried to say no you stay but Light came out with the comment "if any of us stay till 4:00 we can all have the cops called on us and you would be arrested for keeping us here." He grins picks up his bag from the floor and walks out of the class room. If You from his class was leaving he had to go to. They both work at the same place so ya.

After helping himself to the hall's unfiltered bubbler water, which he was rather now wishing he hadn't, Yuu continued the long, treacherous journey outdoors, into the sunlight. It was lovely that their teacher was a mole and had kept the shades closed the entire class, just so he could temporarily blind himself in the afternoon rays. He squinted down at the mush grey coloured pavement, waiting for his eyes to adjust a bit, before hoisting his pack over his shoulder. Now, this job of his didn't provide him with much, besides reading material and snacks; if he was lucky, that is. So, the only option most of the employees had was to walk to the establishment, which at least had air-conditioning and offered free beverages to tired hikers.

Light runs out the door closes his eyes and turns his head up to the sky. He has a big grin on his face. Light doesn't usually let people see this side of him. After basking in the sun he runs past Yuu and laughs like a little kid. He rounds the corner and continues to work.

How he was placed in the same class as the fool who'd just run past him, Yuu would never quite understand. Didn't he know that the best way to conserve energy was to move slowly? It kept you from tiring, which meant you could work longer hours, and earn more pay than the rest of your co-workers. Moving at a cautious pace also kept you from being run over by vehicles and tripping up on cracks in the pavement. Lord knows there were many of those things around. Of course, these would all be contributing excuses for him to feed his boss when he showed up late. Turning the corner as well, Yuu barely registers seeing Light zip around another bend to the store they were employed at. This was surely to be a long day.

Light gets to the side of the place they were employed at and stoped in his tracks. Even thought he ran in the 80 degree weather he isn't even breaking a sweat. He takes a deep breath and becomes the person everyone now's as Light. He sighs and walks in. The boss an annoying old guy turns to him and immediately starts to yell. "Ya Ya, old man I got stuck at school so just stop will you. Then he gets to work.

Yuu arrives shortly after, dumping his things near the door in an unorganised heap. Immediately he's harped on for this, though in the end the bag remains untouched. He punches in at a mere two minutes late, something he'd hoped would never happen. Yuu has often wondered if the employees could fry an egg of their higher-up's head, should they get him mad enough at any point in time. Leisurely he makes his way over to the back room, gathering everything he needed from the pallet that had arrived earlier that morning. He cautiously then makes his way through the rows of shelves and merchandise, restocking some of them, taking care to keep every one of the products lined up in perfect order. Old, expired food products are packed into one of the now empty boxes and brought outside to the dumpster to become waste. The owner really needed to learn what a non-perishable food item was.

Light sighs as he's forced to throw away so much food and have it all be expired. "Damn why can't the owner learn he can save money by buying non-pariahable food items" light mumbles to himself as Yuu walks by. The work day is so long that he starts to feel like he's going to die.

[Hatterdale]

"Why don't you try to explain it to him?" Yuu suggested, pausing flatten-out and recycle the packages in his arms. "Out of the both of us, it'd be better for you to get fired. After all, you never stop complaining about your work load."

Usually he never meant to be rude, however Light's whinning had been grating on his patience as of late. It could've been the most he'd said to the amber eyed man of his own accord, even if it was just to demean him. Taking the time to push the blue bin full of cardboard back to its original place with his foot, he pondered what sort of responce he might receive from the blatent comment. It was close to five now, around the time of Yuu's break and he didn't wish to waste it all by the rubbish; eating was important.

Light glares at Yuu with a glare that would paralyze most people. Light never answers when other people say things but this is to much. He adds "well if it's better then why do you complain without saying anything? I find its to much work to do that!" He then finishes moving the pariahable items to the new area and moves to the next part. Staking the new products... the worst part of the job.

"He who holds his tongue gets paid," Yuu replied with a shrug of his shoulders. "Why do you think I make the most out of all of you?"

It was true to some extent, though he often stayed after work for extra hours. He made his back inside the establishment, punching out for his break. He figured that he'd take a walk down the street to grab a coffee before he had to come back. By now the effects of the day were wearing him down, the fact only obvious as Yuu sluggishly dug through his bag by the door for his money. Pushing the door open with his free hand, te raven haired man set his plan into action, willing himself to move at a normal pace.

Light sighs and shrugs. He then gets back to work. He's never one to take breaks... unless it was to get a drink or something. Light continues to work more and more. Finally at 6:00 his shift ends. He finishes what he's doing then goes to his construction job. On the way he notices Yuu walking measurably to the coffee shop. He passes him on his way to the next job. Only stopping to get a Berger.

"Perhaps that burger will kill you off before you have the chance to get fired," Yuu mused, having had caught up with Light due to his brief stop. Well, in amanner of speaking anyway.

It was more as if he'd morphed in from an unknown location, making barely any waves in the crowded pavement until he was sure he was within hearing range of the man beside him. Irritating Light was fun, in a way. He got wonderful reactions from the ash haired man, actually they were the only reactions he'd ever received from someone. Most people never thought to reply and only sulked.

Light chuckles and says " Na, that's not gunna happen. I move around to much and at such a fast pass that I'm in no danger. The doctors are always startled when they give me a check up." As he chuckles he glares at Yuu and adds "And shouldn't you mind you own business. You too. That caffeine is going to kill you." He flat out laughs at that and continues to walk away... "I got to go to work see you tomorrow... I guess."

[Hatterdale]

"I suppose so," Yuu shrugs. "However, greasy foods combined with excessive physical activity can cause heart attacks."

Just because one seems to be healthy, even to physicians, doesn't mean they are. He really should have been more cautious with what he'd said, for he really had been hypocritical. He bid his farewells to Light and waved him off, before heading back to his work-place. There he spent a few more hours cleaning and unpacking merchandise for his elderly boss.

Light gets to his other job... a construction job and starts to work immediately. Light had since finished his berger and starts to help carry the huge steal beems. He carries one after another as though it's nothing. The boss looks at him and says "You really need to eather need to take a day off or take at least two breaks a day. You work way to hard and way to much. What are you going to use the money for?" What the boss doesn't now is that Light uses the money to pay for his mother's hospital bills. She's been In the hospital for about two years now. He doesn't answer the boss and keeps working at the same pace.

The next day, much to Yuu's displease is much like the others before it. Dull, uneventful, and filled with people. -Well, people he didn't care for, anyway. He couldn't wait until high school ended, so he could lose all of the idiots in his class, to go to a university somewhere far away from where he was now. Perhaps he'd study abroad in Europe, if he ever made enough money for it. Things like this flicked through his mind as the instructor rambled on about something he knew he wouldn't need later on in life, but was nonetheless required to learn by law. After school, he took up his post at the store again, a mundane look plastered on his face. -Even though the sign on the counter next to him read; "We're always happy to help you."

The next day Light leaves school to go visit his mother. He carries a big bouquet of flowers he walks past his work place on his way and sees Yuu at the cash register. He walks by like he doesn't notice at all and he doesn't really care to begin with.

As Light passed by, Yuu vaguely wondered what sort of reason he had for carrying around a bouquet of flowers. -Of course, there were numerous reasons, and he understood that. However, which of them would be important enough to skip out on work? Alright, scratch that. Anything was better than working where they did. It was practically dead inside all of the time and smelled of elderly people. With that in mind, Yuu headed to the back to find a can of air freshener.

Light quickly gets to the hospital and looks at the door. After a few minutes he goes in and walks to the door. But something was off... the name on the door is different. He heads back down stairs and asks the reception woman. She checks and looks at him with sad and apologetic eyes. "I'm sorry that poor woman passed away last night. For some reason you wasn't notified." Light drops the flowers and walks out unable to believe what he had just heard. He walks past the shop again, looking like a zombie. He goes to a park far away from watching people. "Why? I can't believe this!" Tears start to build in his eyes but he stops them there.
