The Doctor was done. Maybe this was it? He lived too long, he'd done too much. After putting his energy into his hand, seeing Rose again sending them to another universe and erasing Donna's memory, maybe it finally became too much. At least too much at one time. Now with the Master there and sending the Time Lord's back into the vortex, now that was the final push.

 

The brunette felt himself degenerating and he didn't know what to do. It really was a slow process, maybe he had a few trips left in him? Finish a few things off before he finally...

 

No he couldn't think about that now. He already sent everyone on there way, maybe there was something else he could accomplish before the time came. Hitting the randomizer button he flipped a couple more switches before flying through the vortex. He wasn't sure where or when he was going to end up but perhaps he could have one more adventure that wasn't so sad.

 

Grabbing his coat he took a minute to rearrange his energy in his body. His cells were going a little haywire but nothing he couldn't manage, for now. Taking a deep breath he stepped outside wondering where he was going to end up.

Bio:

He is a journalist in the 23rd century at this point in time everyone knows there are greater beings out there just haven't really made the whole every species has to be treated the same. Earth is still trying to be the dominant race so they are constantly starting wars. He used to be a marine but was given a honorable discharge when he was blinded in his left eye by a bomb. He has a scar on that side of his head but it is mostly covered by his hair. His job is now to cover the news on the new species of aliens that are now arriving on Earth

Kasten was walking down the street sighing. He had just gotten chewed out by his boss. It had been a really long time since Kasten had delivered him a good story. Not since he actually gotten hired at the company actually. He looked around him as the people hurried past him and looked like they couldn't be bothered to look around them. Everyone on their cellular devices and wrist laptops. They all were to fixated on trying to make a living so that they could have a comfortable life but most of them will die of not paying attention to their health before they even get to enjoy their hard work's rewards. He sighed and made his way to the park and sat on a swing starting up at the sky wondering if he would ever to get out there. Out of this world.

The Doctor stepped out into the park and glanced around. This wasn't where he thought he would end up but the Tardis always sent him where he needed to be. The brunette looked around seeing the overcast sky. He always did like the rain though even though it hadn't happened yet. Walking forward he looked around and sighed heavily, "so this is my last stop huh?"

 

Looking over at the swing set he saw a man sitting there, smiling softly he walked over and sat down on one of the swings rocking back and forth softly, "so whats it like seeing aliens for the first time?" He winked at the man next to him having a feeling he wouldn't get his joke.

Kasten looked down and over at the man. He blinked at the man's question. It was true even though Kasten had been a marine he had never really seen an alien. He had only heard about it and read about it in the television and papers. But he had never seen an alien in real life. "I don't know but I will tell you when I do." Kasten said softly smiling. "It is funny isn't it? One day the human race thinks that we are the conquer of all and that we are the main species.But it turned out we were just a small little pebble of a planet in a bigger universe. Most humans still try to justify that they are stronger and better than any of them." Kasten babbled on then he caught himself and felt embarrassed.

 

"Ah I am so sorry, sir. I did not mean to rant on like that. I do not know what came over. I'm sure you did not want to hear any of that." Kasten smiled and started to swing back and forth. "So have you met any aliens mister?" Kasten asked curiously.

The Doctor smiled as he sat here, ah so this was why she brought him here, "I see. Humans fight kicking and screaming all through time and space. They are an interesting species huh?" Looking over at the blond he chuckled softly then winced holding his side. Taking a slow breath he then sighed and looked back off toward the city.

 

"Good news is is you have met an alien," the Doctor rocked slightly on the swing. "Although if you really want to do something fun we could go on a little trip to somewhere up there."

Kasten looked at the man shocked. He couldn't believe it. I mean this man in front of him breathing and talking. This mad was a alien. I real life alien! Kasten kept staring at the man in awe. "S-so you've been out there? In other galaxies? Other worlds??? What is it like? What do other aliens look like? Do they all look like humans like you? Wait if you are an alien then why do you look like a human? I heard from a co-worker that there was a species that looked like rhinos is that true??" Kasten kept shooting question after question not thinking till he realized something.

 

"W-wait....did you just ask me to take me on a trip out there? As in the universe? Like other planets to see other aliens that could be living out there??" Kasten was shocked and almost couldn't control his enthusiasm.

The Doctor couldn't help but chuckle, "yeah yeah I'm not human. Time Lord, I have some extra bits compared to you. The Judoon, those are the rhino like creatures. They are like the space police to some." He slowly stood using the chain to lift himself to his feet. He knew he was pale but knew this man wouldn't be able to tell he was in pain.

 

"I can take you for a fast trip, if you'd like," the brunette winked at him then headed towards the large blue police box.

Kasten looked closer at the man amazed and smiled at him. He was excited and couldn't even contain it. This was the first alien he had ever met. After all the years he had heard about them. Now he was finally getting to meet one and this one had offered him a ride on his ship to different worlds. He smiled and then looked at the small box. "Umm? Are you kidding? That small outdated thing is your space ship??"

"It's not a ship, it's the Tardis," the Doctor slipped inside leaving the door cracked open. That was always the best trick to get people to follow. He loved this game. Showing new people bringing them out to the wonders. Taking a shallow breath he reached up touching one of the coils, "last trip huh?"

 

The brunette hung his head a little as he felt the waves of her concern. Without efficient energy who knows how long he'd last. Glancing at the screens the monitors told him his energy had dropped to 43%. He needed to find another source because he couldn't regenerate with it under 85%.

(Sorry I went to sleep last night and just got done with my homework right now. Good news I can once again access YO from my laptop! )

 

 

Katen looked at the blue phone booth with the door just a little open and unconsciously started to walk towards it. He didn't know why but something was calling to him inside there. Something was calling to him and pulling him in and he could no longer deny it he pushed the door in and went inside and was immediately at a lost for words. It was bigger....It was a whole lot bigger on the inside....THE THING WAS HUGE ON THE INSIDE!!! He went in and out and all around the thing and couldn't figure it out. How was this thing bigger in the inside? It defied the laws of physics! How could it be?

 

Kasten looked at the young man that was standing by what looked like a control panel and walked towards him still staring at other things trying to get over the fact that this thing was one of the most amazing things he had ever seen. He looked at the panel confused. "So.....um....wow....it-it's ...I mean...How is this possible??" Kasten question looking at he complicated array of things.

The doctor enjoyed watching him take in the Tardis. She really is amazing and wonderful. The brunette smiled softly as he watched him walk back over and could almost hear his mind screaming out in awe. Turning a few knobs he reached over flipping a switch causing the dots to close and sent her into orbit, "this is my ship the Tardis. She is a time machine currently stick on this screen saver but I like it. Now where would you like to go?"

Kasten stared around the place in awe still and looked at the man as he talked. "umm....anywhere in the world? Anywhere out there? I can go anywhere out there I chose no matter the place?...I" Kasten hesitated he would never get the chance to do this again. He would never get the chance to be asked in all of space where would you want to go. He knew exactly where he wanted to go. "I... want to go somewhere new. Some where no one has even been before!" Kasten answered excited.

"Somewhere new? Well new to you." The Doctor smiled softly looking over at his new companion. "Everything has been touched by someone. Whether it's an alien human or animal. Unless you're thinking of going to a planet that has no life forms." The brunette shrugged his shoulders as he flipped another switch walking around the controls.

Kasten watched and circled around the ship's console watching all the switches he flipped, pulled, and twisted. " How do you memorize all of this?" He kept following the guy around till he accidently walked faster than him and bumped hard into him and fell back. " ah! ...Im sorry I wasn't watching where I was going. Ill be more careful next time!!" Kasten panicked and rushed to help the man in the process of standing up to do so he pulled a lever and it made the ship flash and make weird noises then start to rock and shake throwing Kasten back on the floor. "Oww!"

The Doctor groaned softly holding his side as he was knocked down. All his cell's in his body were screaming at him. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea. As he started to stand he grit his teeth until he heard the flashing and the Tardis spun into the vortex. Panicking for a moment he fought against his pain by releasing some adrenaline into his system, he knew he'd pay for it later but he needed it for now. The brunette quickly flipped a few switches and slammed on the hand brake pausing the Tardis in mid-flight. He slummed to the floor panting softly as he leaned back against the control panel, "d-do not touch the controls. I don't even know where we are right now... You can poke your head out and see, just stay within the force field."

Kasten looked at the man and looked worried. "Are you okay mister? You look like you are in pain did I slam that hard into you? I am sorry." Kasten bowed apologetic and nodded at the man as he went to the door and started to stare at the door. Behind that door we would find a new world one he had never been before. It could be good or bad. Anything really. But he couldn't back down anymore he had to know for himself what was out there. What made the world want to come out here. He had to satisfy his own curiosity even. So he slowly stepped forward and pulled the door open and peeked his head out. What he saw shocked him. This was it was... It was beautiful. It was a grand garden full of exotic flowers. There was nothing but flowers and plants. He looked back in the Tardis. "You landed us in an exotic garden!" Kasten yelled smiling.

Degenerating was a terrible thing to experience. His body was slowly falling apart and after feeling his ribs crack he knew he wasn't lasting long. He would need to find energy soon or just accept his fate, which he was starting too. The brunette's fire was gone for a moment since the jumble of crazy his life just experienced. He wanted to be back to normal, to run around, to experience life and worlds.

 

Hearing the other over by the door he smiled, "garden huh?" Slowly he pushed himself up and walked over to the doors. He felt the pain in his chest but tried to hide it. "Ah... the planet Barcelona... This... wow I haven't been here in so long. This is a beautiful place to visit. Just don't eat anything here."

[Skyxon]

"Barcelona? Like the city? Back on Earth? There is a whole planet that is like that one city?? Wow! The Earth must have had a huge impact on the alien life forms." Kasten smiled as he stepped out of the tardis and into the new world out there. He looked out there and smiled. "Wow...." He stared at the plants and touched them. "It is real.. Im not dreaming! This place was real! " Kasten ran back inside the tardis and back out with his old school camera that shoots the picture right away. He snapped a few pictures of the plants and smiled at them as they started to developed. "So are you okay mister? You look like you are in pain?" Kasten asked staring at him.

The Doctor slowly made his way outside and looked at the camera, "please don't take too many pictures." He wondered if he should break it but thought against it for the moment. "Well, the name was a coincidence really. It isn't named until after the Earth dies but a group of human scientists found it not long after and soon realized why no one stays here. Even I can't eat anything here."

 

He leaned back against the Tardis knowing he was pale and had some sweat on his forehead, and he knew it was bad because he wasn't one to sweat, "No I'm alright, just tired is all and you can call me the Doctor."

[Skyxon]

"Isn't that kind of funny?" Kasten snickered. "You are a doctor still you are feeling ill. Who do you call when the doctor is sick?" Kasten teased and looked around as he started to wonder deeper and deeper into the garden. "So why can't we eat anything from this planet? It looks pretty delicious to me." Kasten asked as he picked an apple from the tree and brought it back with him. "See looks like a normal apple to me. Actually it looks more vibrant and juicier than a normal apple..." Kasten looked at it memorized by soon he wanted to take a bite and so he was bringing it close to his lips.

The doctor looked around not seeing him for a moment, "well everything is Heisenberg l hydrogen based here." Looking back at him he nearly panicked while very unceremoniously smacking the food from his hands. "What part of 'Don't eat anything' did you not get?" He then chuckled but immediately regretted that and held his side.

[Skyxon]

Kasten blinked and looked at the doctor grip his side. "You sure you are okay Doctor?" I mean shouldn't we get you to a medical treatment or something? You look like you are ready to keel over on me right here and die. You are starting to look paler as well." Kasten stated walking to the Doctor and helping him stand. "Here come on I will help you get into the Tardis then you can take us somewhere where you can medical treatment." Kasten started to lead the Doctor back into the Tardis.

The Doctor walked with him for a moment before shaking his head, "don't worry about it, there isn't a hospital that can help me." He forced a smile. "Don't worry about it. It'll be over soon." He chuckled softly and stepped into the Tardis. "What is your name by the way?" Gingerly he walked over the the counsel trying to get the attention of his failing body.

(it is all cool. Lol I understood it so I rolled with it o.o)

 

Kasten watched the Doctor move around weakly. Then it hit him. He had gotten in a box with a mad man spouting out tempting offers about space and different things. That he had not bothered to introduce himself much less question anything the man had told him. "My name is Kasten or you can call me Kas or Kast for short." Kasten replied with a smile. "Do you have a room on board so I can take you to? I mean you look like you are about to pass out." Kasten asked moving closer to the Doctor.

The Doctor shook his head, "it's alright really... this was my last trip." The brunette sighed heavily finally admitting a little bit that he wasn't alright. He looked down at the controls realizing his vision was also becoming blurry. He might just pass out. This would be a problem especially with someone new on board and... and...

 

His legs gave out from under him causing him to slump against the other, "..." He groaned softly and clung to his shirt.
