Gale continues to howl over and over each time he does his voice gets louder. At the loudest point that his voice can get to his voice is able to travel into a few of the rooms that face the lake. The sound of his howls is very saddening and can even move people to tears. Its just like the howl he sent out before he met Masamune.

Masamune's eyes pop open at the sudden noise of a sad howl he heard. "That must be Gale," Masamune said out loud. He quickly transformed into his panther form, all sleek black fur. He jumped out of his window and landed on all fours and ran for the lake where he had a feeling that's where Gale would be. He arrived at the lake inside the forest where he came upon a lone wolf howling to the moon.

Gale doesn't look away from the moon his muzzle streaked by tears. He doesn't want Masamune to see him in such a distorted form but after howling all his sadness away Gale goes over near the tree and lays down. Gale once his eyes and face are clear look up at Masamune to see that he's a panther. Yet Gale doesn't feel threatened like he normally does when faced with any type of cat. All Gale does is place his head back down and say " If you want to rest here you can. I just can't stand being in a room. It feels like a cage."

Masamune sat on his haunches, looking sideways at the wolf that is Gale. When the wolf spoke he was suddenly comforted by the sound of his voice. He crawled over towards Gale an layed down beside him. He isnt afraid of any wolf, especially Gale. He layed there and closed his eyes. A long moment passed of deep silence. Finally, Masamune looked up at Gale, he told him, "I dont like being caged either." He continued to lay there. Another long moment passed between them. Masamune rose to all four paws, after taking a few steps towards the lake, he changed back into his human form, completely naked. "Hey, do you want to swim with me?" Asked Masamune.

Masamune sat on his haunches, looking sideways at the wolf that is Gale. When the wolf spoke he was suddenly comforted by the sound of his voice. He crawled over towards Gale an layed down beside him. He isnt afraid of any wolf, especially Gale. He layed there and closed his eyes. A long moment passed of deep silence. Gale looked up at Masamune and nods. He then stands up and changes back. Naked as well. Being naked was more natural then breathing for Gale and he hated waiting cloths. Gale then runs past Masamune and jumps of the cliff into the water. Coming up after about three minutes and laughing. Gale wasn't bothered by Masamunes naked body but for some reason it made his blood boil and his whole body shake.

Seeing Gales naked body, Masamunes face turned into a deep blood red. He quickly turned away, hoping he hadnt noticed his blush. He heard a splash and Gale had jumped off the cliff and into the lake. Masamune soon followed after Gale. He dived deep into the water. Even though hes a cat, he doesnt hate the water. In fact, he actually loves it. At times, he thinks he should have been a fish in stead of a cat but he loves his cat form almost more than anything. He comes up for breath and almost loses it instantly because of Gales wet skin was so beautiful and shiny. He almost couldnt have adverted his eyes. "Wow," he whispered quietly, stunned by the look of him. Why is my body burning even though the water is freezing cold? thought Masamune.

Gale had noticed Masamune blushing but doesn't say anything. when Masamune comes back up Gale looks at the say... more over the moon. Gale looks over at Masamune and is startled by his glowing, glittering form. "Why do i feel this way?" Gale asks himself.

Masamune notices how Gale looks at him and continues to blush more. He cant help but blush because he feels a slight burning in his chest when hes around Gale. Theyve not known each other very long and he already feels like he cant be without him. He knows its just ridiculous to think that way but again, he cant help it. He feels strangely comforted by Gales presence.

Gale sees Masamune blush and blushes a little bit. To hide this he goes and starts to swim. Being around Masamune makes him feel calm and allows him to forget about all the pain and sadness he went through. Gale turns into a wolf to pull himself up the bank of the lake and shake himself out. He then lays down under the tree to sleep. Feeling so relaxed for the first time since his parents were killed.

Masamune was deep under water when it started to storm. he swam to the surface but not without struggling to maintain holding his breath. he let it out and noticed how far away from the sure he was. he began to panic and so he started to sink and the more he struggled the more he panics the more he cant swim right. He starts to panic even more because he cant seem to get his breath back. The first break of breath he caught he let out a scream. Not loud but not quiet either.

Suddenly it starts to rain and Gale lifts up his head to look for Masamune. Its then that he notices that Masamune isn't there. Gale hears his scream and jumps in the water after Masamune. Water floods his mouth and nose as he swims to Masamune. Gale grabs Masamune by the stomach and pulls him up from under the water. He then starts back to shore.

Masamune faintly feels arms wrapping around his stomach, pulling him upwards. By this time, Masamune has already lost consciousness. He was breathing, but it was very faint. He can feel himself slipping away.

Gale kisses Masamune and blows air into his lungs to force him to cough it up. He tirelessly pulls Masamune to shore his arms and legs pumping painfully. Gale had never done this much exercise before and he started to regret it. "Hang on" Gale has to yell into masamunes ear to make it so he can hear him. "we're almost to shore!" Gales feet touch the ground for the first time in a few hours. his body shaking he carries Masamune to the trunk of the tree and places him down. Gale shifts into wolf form his body becoming freezing. faintly he can hear Masamunes heart beating "thank god" he thinks before passing out.

Masamune wakes up with a huge wolf on top of him. "Gale?" He whispered, shocked. Im not dead? he thought. He tries to wake Gale up but hes in too deep of sleep. A thought came to his mind and immediately made him blush for thinking such thing. "Well, here goes nothing." Masamune leaned down and kissed Gale full on the lips.

Gale feeling something brush his lips and then press down on them makes him jump, but all he can do is roll over off of Masamune. "Sorry" Gale says in a painful and scratchy voice. "I cant and wont be able to do much. to-to-to ex..." his voice trails off as he starts to fall back to sleep. Gales mind vaguely processes that he was kissed but he can only think of resting. he ended up turning into a human to roll off of Masamune.

Masamune notices Gales slight stutter as he began to fall asleep again. When Gale rolled off of him and reverted back to his human form, Gale was again naked. Masamune just sighed, reverted back to his human form, and picked up Gale. "Well, i guess theres no other way but to carry you back to the dorms," stated Masamune. He carried Gale to the dorms and layed him outside below his window so he could jump through it. When he was inside, he got dressed and brought out a blanket to cover Gales body with. When that was done, he jumped back through his window and laid Gale on to his bed. He sat in his chair at his desk, pondering what to do next. They have the Entrance ceremony to attend to tomorr-err, today.

Gale even though hes tired he wakes up before dawn and looks around wondering where he is. "What happened?" he says to no one. All he remembers is going into the water to save Masamune? At that thought Masamune jumps up and looks around. "Wheres Masamune?"

Masamune walks into his bedroom with a towel wrapped around his waist. "Your up finally." Masamune grabs his clothes for the day and heads back to the dormitory showers. He gets dressed and heads back to his room. Gale and him have to talk.

Gale relaxes when he hears Masamune's voice but also becomes a little excited. He tries to calm himself down while Masamune is gone. "What is going on?" he asks himself. "Why am i like this?" While waiting for Masamune to get back Gale looks around and takes in his surroundings. There is a small desk about three feet away from the bed and a bookshelf full of books. All he does is look but Gale want to know what kinds of books Masamune reads.

"Have you read any of them?" asks Masamune from behind Gale. He seen Gale jump a lil off the ground. "Do you feel better? Do you need anything?" Masamune sits down on the side of his bed, awaiting Gales answers. "I want to thank you for saving my life. I dont know what came over me. I normally dont panic to the ex-stream like that. And im sorry you had to over exert yourself because of my failure. So thank you, Gale."

Masamune pelts Gale with Questions and makes him struggle to answer them. he takes a breath and answers "Lets go in order. I haven't read any of these books and i don't feel like it... unless I'm in a bad mood. yes I'm feeling better and no i don't need anything, thank you though. Also you don't have to thank me for saving you. I only did what i would do for of my family and close friends... you are the first..." Gale blushes a little bit feeling sheepish for admitting that. He knows that Masamune saw him jump but tries to hide it.

that comment made Masamune blush. Hes never had anyone who would risk their life for him like Gale had done. Especially since they havent known each other very long. These two days feels like a century. Masamune notices how beautiful Gales blush makes him and so Masamune blushes even more for thinking such things. "You look really cute when you blush," Masamune said unexpectedly. When he realizes what he said he blushes a even deeper red than before.

Gale looks at Masamune in surprise and is startled to see Masamune blushing really bad. He then does something unexpected and uncharacteristic. He kisses Masamune. When he notices what happened Gale pulls away feeling awkward. "Sorry" is all Gale says before leaving and going to his own room.

Masamune was shocked that Gale had just kissed him. Totally unexpected. Masamune just stood there, blown away. He put his hand to his lips, still feeling Gales touch after he had done left, embarrassed. "Wait!" Masamune had finally yelled, running after Gale. When he reached his room across the hall, the door was already closed. He debated on whether or not to knock. He took a deep breath...... Then he knocked.

Hearing a knock on the door Gale jumps. He slowly moves towards the door, he takes a deep breath and then opens it. Standing on the other side is Masamune. Feeling a bit awkward Gale asks "Do you want to come in?" the longer Gale and Masamune stand there the more awkward Gale feels. "Please answer me soon!" he begs in his mind "please!"
