His teeth are shark-like and wears his uniform 90% of the time, his swimming gear are long-legged and have two red stripes on the outer thigh Personality: Rin has been previously bubbly and kind hearted as a child, after returning from australia he has become rude, obnoxious and uninterested with much other than swimming, though he shows pride towards his abilities. He is very and lean, his swimming gear is a black legging like speedo with green stripes on the sides. More often thann not seen wearing his school uniform. Personality: Often seen as a sweet heart, Makoto has a very big brotherly feel to him. His 2 younger brothers and Haru are the main reason for this behavior. Rin's eyes were fixated on the ground and his hair was messily pulled into the slightest of a pony tail. he listened to his own footsteps more than his music, his eyes locked on the ocean, only a few waves were seen in the moonlight, he turned back forwards, his past relied too much on that damn ocean. His hair shone in the streetlights, the festival was nearing from the screams of giddy children and murmers of people, struggling to keep his father from his mind he shoulder barged into something, or someone." lovemegone Posted October 1, 2013 Share Posted October 1, 2013 Makoto sighed softly, pulling his jacket closer to his lithe form; his younger brother and sister wanted this candy they sold at a shop 5 blocks away. 'Well they deserve it, they got a 100 on that test' Makoto thought cheekily, turning the corner to get to the shop. He was nearby the ocean and he felt just the slightest uneasy feeling. Ever since that training with his team the ocean just seemed so.....unnerving. Yes it was his fault because he went after Rei but still...to think it almost took him and his dear friend... He shivered slightly at the thought. 'Oh well' he thought softly as he continued to walk forward. "Off!" Makoto fell as he ran into a hard body. "I'm so sorry!!!!" he yelled instantly, looking up. Tsk." Rin held his side." For a huge thing like you, you hurt like hell." He frowned, then pulled his head up to look at Makoto." I was only going for a midnight jog.. Before you ask. " he grumbled under ihs breath. He envied makoto, and had little to discuss with him other than to maybe get some information. He sighed as he looked the guy up and down." Where's haru." He let out a small sigh, inaudible to most. He missed the old Rin... The one that laughed and smiled when someone made a silly joke, or cried when he was upset. Now all he seemed to do was scowl and frown.... It upset him slightly but what was he to do? He did wonder however, what the ever-elusive Rin was doing here of all places. Just as he opened his mouth to ask, Rin said " I was only going for a midnight jog.. Before you ask. " Oh. Well that answered his questions. He sat there for another second before once again trying to get up. " Where's Haru." the boy above him....asked? No.....it eemed more like a statement at this point. He got up and smiled a some what forced smile; ever since Rin came back, Haru hadn't been the same... he seemed more distant than usual and it bothered him. "He should be at home, that's where he were I left him anyways.Why, what's wrong?" he asked, slightly worried, but also slightly annoyed at his insistence to mess with Haru's life. Rin rubbed his neck and made a huffed sigh, since returning from australia,Rin's voice had become deep and as cold as his expression, a slight accent made it even worse. He glanced at Makoto's expression." Geez, aren't you gonna move or what?" He almost chastised raising his hand a little suddenly to see if he'd flinch." Also, work on your backstroke, as captain of your team i think you owe it to them." Rin's eyes glinted, he was taking advantage of Makoto's easy going attitude, he didn't really think Makoto could do much to retaliate, Rin glanced over at the ocean, he knew makoto's fear and he thought for a moment. "I know I have to work on my backstroke but I'm glad I have my friends to support me. And I'm sorry if I seem to hang around Haru-chan but it was a habit that grew after he was left alone. And yes I will move, sorry for the inconvenience Rin." he said with a slight undertone of malice. He saw Rin's glances at the foreboding ocean and began to move out of the way, he wanted no part in whatever Rin was planning. "Goodbye Rin." O-OI!" He grabbed a fistful of his shirt, " i'm not finished talking to you now." He grimaced, maybe Rin had over-reacted to the truth Makoto had spoken. Rin wasn't admitting to it."ugh." He pushed the broad-shouldered guy into a wooden fence nearby." You better watch it." Rin, confused with his own actions quickly let go of the clothing, and backed away a little, then pressed the play button on his ipod and began to walk the other way, something in his head decided he would have to get to Haru before makoto could. " You better watch it." he heard, and that was it. He was mad. The boy let go of his jacket and began to walk away. He knew what was going to happen, Rin would go to Haru and then it would be his job to try to help the boy get back to his normal self. He wanted to save the boy the pain and began to follow the boy. He hasn't swam actually alongside you in ages right?" Rin took a threatening step towards him." I want nothing more than to swim with him. Stop leaving me grief." "I was the one that actually bothered to stay instead of run away even when I knew Haru is faster than me! And he stopped swimming because he missed you, you insensitive bastard! Do you know how much time I put into making him better?! I know you want to swim with him but can you not hurt him this time!?" he huffed out. Makoto sighed softly, he knew Rin was right but he didn't want another broken friendship. "Anyways I have something to do. Goodnight Rin." he said turning away. I left to become better, to chase my dad's dream and if that makes me a bad person, i don't simply care." Rin swallowed, going over the boy's words of ' how much time i put into making him better' rin had taken it into a different context and his fist clenched by his side. "Nothing's good about this night mako." Rin fumed, heading the opposite way, still determined to approach haru, but now he was unsure about it. He didn't want Haru sad, that's why he was being harsh but he didn't mean to make his.....friendship(?) With Rin to fall out because of his protectiveness of his dear friend. Makoto stopped for a second when he saw a small light reflected in a screen. It was Rin's Ipod; maybe this was his chance he thought his eyes widening slightly. Maybe this was the universe's way of giving him a chance to fix the mess he made. He picked up the ipod and began to make his way to the path to Haru's house, he knew a short cut that would intercept the path that Rin was no doubt, taking. He hissed, he leaned against a tree, he was tired, not only was the journey from his board-room a long one to jog on, but the path leading to haru's was even worse, it seemed to never stop going up, he breathed out, and pulled himself forwards again, reaching the houses surrounding Haruka's he noticed a flash of something familiar." The boy had slumped against a tree, obviously winded. He felt bad and decided against it, Rin was obviously still mad. 'And he has every right to be!' that little voice in his head hissed at him. He stopped a few feet behind Rin and looked down feeling guilty; it was due to his over protectiveness of his dear friend that had caused this.... He didn't want his friendship with Rin to just end like this; yes he had decided that they were friends,and friends apologize after a fight. "Rin...? I-I just wanted to give you back your ipod..... He mumbled, pushong the ipod back towards Makoto's body, digging it slightly into Mako's soft skin." the least you deserve for running up this titanic hill- i couldn't even walk up it." He did chuckle however at Rin's childish way of expressing his anger. "Well... I didn't exactly walk it, there's a shortcut over there," he said pointing at the path he had made over the years. "Plus,' he added "Your sister's a good coach, her training really helps." he said with a closed eyed smile. He turned his head slightly, "Even if the next day I can barely move..." he muttered, a sweat drop on his forehead. He wasn't kidding, it was really painful waking up the morning after, the only reason he would get up was to make sure Haru actually got out of his bath before school started. You and Haru-chan where always the best swimmers, I can't even compare.... The way Haru-chan swims...It's just beautiful....And the way you swim... Gosh I've never seen more passionate," Makoto said, his voice as soft as a sigh in the wind. He looked to the side and added in a whisper "Besides... I would never make it..." Nether the less, makoto felt warm under his hand. " i was kidding before. You've got a good backwards stroke going for you." Rin stared stonily at the floor, then quickly pulled his hand away skittishly, almost like he was regaining some dignity. Rin stood in silence for a couple of minutes, his hair covered his face so no emotion would be picked up." I'll accept your proposal. I won't bother him tonight." He grabbed the paper from his pocket. A letter from haru which he sent the first year rin was in australia, something he never replied to." But i'll still be waiting for the day he swims for me." Rin's touch felt nice...it had been a long time since the last time he had felt his touch. The brunette looked at him with unshed tears of happiness in his eyes. "Thank you," Makoto whispered. He was still worried about Haru, he was a very delicate person behind his stony appearance. Just then he saw the note in Rin's hand but thought twice before asking. 'I don't want to push our already strained relationship....It must be for Haru though...' he thought. He realized it was late and knew Rin shouldn't be walking back to his dorm. "W-would you like to come over?" He realized how forward that sounded and went to amend the situation "I-I mean well, it's just that it's late and you shouldn't be out at this time...." he stuttered, blushing. He felt so nostalgic walking like this...when they were children they often went to each others houses. While they were walking, Makoto would sneak glances at Rin....he had certainly grown up hadn't he? Of course the same thing could be said about him, but Makoto had gotten bigger, his shoulders had grown an he felt weird....He, himself hadn't grown much in that department; he more or less felt like a pile of skin and bones, sure he had some muscle but not enough to be noticeable. He was pulled out of his internal musings when Rin asked," So your family's inside? I wouldn't want to just barge in there like i own the place." He blinked for a second before replying "I'm sure they won't mind, my mother still talks about you, and the twins would love to meet you," he smiled, eyes closed. He went over and opened the door, "I'm home!" he called out, not receiving a response. 'Must not be home..' " Well looks like they're not home, must've gone out with the twins....Would you like to take a shower?" he asked. "Not that you smell bad or anything!!!!I was just thinking you might want one and dear that was really straight forward!" he rambled on. He finally stopped and looked at Rin through hooded eyes. Without another word the red haired had turned and went up the stairs to the bathroom in almost just a couple of strides. He turned on the lights of the dark, tiled room, and stripped himself of his clothes straight away, he left the door open slightly, mainly because he was too eager to even check, he waited for a few moments for the water to turn warm and stepped in, the pressure from the water felt good and easing on his muscles, he had little time at the academy to enjoy the slightest joy of a warm shower. Most of the ones at samezuka were freezing. Rin eventually got out, wondering what Makoto would of been doing in the long time he had spent in the bathroom. He carelessly wrapped one of the towels around his waist, slipping back out into the hall, his muscles shimmering from the dewy drops left on his skin. " mako...
