Fraelin
So it's obviously been a long time since I've utilized this account. At the time I was more-so looking to play with simulators, but that's not nearly as fun as playing with someone else, yes? ;3 Alrighty then, let's get down to business. I'd prefer to play uke and that is a fact. If there were say... a possibility of a threesome I would play seke, but you're getting the general idea. I'm a literate roleplayer though I tend to mirror my partner in quantity, and if I notice you have astounding quality I'll usually push to mirror that as well. I'm nowhere near being a renown author but you get the picture. That's about it. If you have any plot/pairing ideas you like to try out I'm very game for just about anything and I have very few limitations. PS: Still open to two more roleplay pals here. Don't be shy. >w>; Thanks for your time!
UndertheWeather
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. Hi there. I don't actually have a lot of time in hand, and I am part of two other RPs, but they're moving slowly so I guess it wouldn't be a problem if I take up on another one since I do enjoy creating stories. I'm not exactly a good writer, but I try to produce something as well as I can. I'm very flexible, but I do have some limitations. I don't sit well with threesome lol, and my writing preference is down-to-Earth, and realistic. But that doesn't mean I can't do fantasy. I can do fantasy, just that I don't do superpower-mindreader-flyingz-hyperintelligentgeniuz sort of stories. BDSM-Master-Slave also doesn't sit well with me, and I prefer stories with stories. And lastly, I prefer a non-clueless-girly uke. '__' I like semexseme, but I do mostly seke. So yea, would you be interested in writing with me? Do let me know
Fraelin
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. That would be delightful actually. I'm quite alright with all of your limits and abiding by them while at the same time I'm going to be taking it easy myself so it seems we're on the same page with that. Fantasy is always a fun genre to dive into and gives a nice array of options. I particularly have been wanting to do something involving curses so maybe we can work with that? As for uke's mine are borderline seke most of the time anyways. Lately I've been leaning towards the more maternal kind if that suits you well? UndertheWeather
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. I'm not sure what the maternal kind is, but it does sound alright. I guess I just can't handle clueless people... Would you be alright if we create characters as opposed to writing a fan-fiction (unless the theme is open, like say Pokemon without having to use Ash)? I just like the flexibility. Anyhow, yes curses do sound fun. Could you, perhaps, get the ball rolling with the idea? I haven't have ideas about curses as of now. Fraelin
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. Oh, he won't be the clueless type. I can assure you of that. Maternal generally means 'motherly'. He'd be the type that naturally feels the need to take care of others. As doe original characters that's a yes. I'm very picky about playing canon characters. I won't play one unless I know I can have them down pat. And curses what if we did something that changed the character's race? Made him a merman or some other mythological creature?
UndertheWeather
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. Sure changing character's race sounds good. On a rather unrelated note, I like the idea of merman, but I also don't like it, because one can't exactly have sex with a merman, and if one does somehow find a way to, it'll be really odd lol. So I guess the structure will be two humans, and one's cursed? We could either write about two friends, one of whom gets a curse later on, or two strangers who crossed path and one's cursed. Hmmm. Or two cursed people crossing paths? Or two cursed friends who didn't reveal to one another that they were cursed? Hmmmm. Will it be a modern setting? Historical? Fantastical? What do you prefer? Also apologies if I ask too much questions...
Fraelin
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. That depends honestly. Especially if the character was originally a merman and was cursed into being human. But that's neither here nor there. To throw another curse idea out there perhaps the cursed character takes on a more monsterous form whether it be incubus... vampire... something that would probably cause the cursed individual discomfort. xD -evil like that- I like the idea of the two knowing eachother actually. Maybe they use to be close friends and they run back into the other? They could both be on journeys and cross paths. Obviously the cursed character would have a reason to be out and about and whoever plays the uncursed character may actually be able to help in some small way. At first I imagine the curse is some big secret but as time progresses it's exposed and the uncursed character could possibly have connections to help? If you'd be interested in going for that sort of thing.
UndertheWeather
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. Hmmm. I think this could work as a story: "At first I imagine the curse is some big secret but as time progresses it's exposed and the uncursed character could possibly have connections to help?" together with this: "Maybe they use to be close friends and they run back into the other?" And yes, I think the curse should be something that the character is not comfortable with. If that's okay maybe then we can start with the character allocation, and writing a brief character sheet? Fraelin
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. Everything sounds fine to me. Do you have a specific character sheet you use?
UndertheWeather
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. Nope. I'm not a season RPer or writer. I just tend to keep it brief; the story tells more of how he is than the character sheet. Anyhow, do you have any specific character sheet? And who shall be cursed? Fraelin
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. The only things I usually deem necessary before a roleplay is the physical attributes of a character because the other WILL be looking at him and seeing him where as unless the other character is a mind-reader or some amazing body language reader the personality and history can come later. Now do you deal with images or no? Because I know it's a 50/50 shot with most people. Some do and some do not. I can swing either way of course. As for the cursed individual I imagine the other character to be a bit more business savvy so if that's not your cup of tea I'd be fine taking the uncursed character. Because once we figure out which IS cursed we still have to figure out the terms of the curse like the duration and if it's a temporary 'in the light of the full moon he changes' thing or not. I really hope I made some sense there. xD
UndertheWeather
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. Is it necessary for the character to be business savvy? Can't it be anyhow it is? Or what do you mean by being business savvy? And if you don't mind the not cursed character being anything, then I can do the not cursed, and you can do the cursed character, and I guess it's completely up to you and to your liking as to the type of curse, and the time changes. You know?
Fraelin
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. Well I'm trying to think of how the uncursed character would have so many connections. I was thinking along the lines as his 'buisness' being that he travels, explores, and learns about lore maybe. While at the same time he could have become a thief? And through word of ear get's his information that way along with the few informants he has. I have no problem playing the cursed character though. As soon as I think up his curse I'll let you know. Which shouldn't be too long.
UndertheWeather
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. You've lost me. I think there are stuff that you haven't told me that's why I don't understand. Would it be necessary for the not-cursed character to be on a mission to understand? Could it not be like he's just a friend, and later went on to study it, or something else? I mean, it's not necessary to be specified in that way, is it? Also, I'm fine with images. Fraelin
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. Ah, you mean that the cursed character has been cursed and the uncursed character already knows and understands? The uncursed character is your own so I'm absolutely fine with whatever you want to do honestly. Make him whatever you want him to be. I was just making examples to be honest of what you could do. Alright, well I have an imagine in mind then if that's the case. What's your preference when it comes to roleplaying in threads or privately?
UndertheWeather
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. Er, no I'm perfectly fine with however you want the onset of the curse to be. If my character is supposed to be aware of it, just let me know, otherwise, it's fine. Also, are we sticking to them being friends, then separating, then meeting back? And I have no preference actually. All this while I've been on threads, so yea. What about you? Fraelin
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. There's a creature know as a Peryton, maybe he becomes the humanoid version of one of those? We could probably work some legend around it as well to say they're an evil breed while as the story progresses they find that to be false? I'm fine with threads. UndertheWeather
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. lol I'm not educated in myths. Can I rely on you for that? But of course, I'll do my best to do anything that is needed. I'll write up a character sheet for the friend as soon as I get the chance to. Fraelin
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. Absolutely. I love them. +w+ Basically a peryton is a deer with feathered wings and tail feathers. They were said to have come from Atlantis before it sunk into the ocean. They flew away, surviving. But they're also known to bring misfortune. So I could always just role with that. Now I need to decide on how it happened. Maybe a relic from Atlantis made it's way to their hometown and he got a hold of it somehow? OR he could have found it washed up on the beach? Honestly you can decide whether your character knows about the curse or not and I'm thinking either if they're together then he'd probably know but if they're separated then he probably doesn't know. If it helps I don't think my character would tell him. He wouldn't want him involved because of the 'misfortune' element.
UndertheWeather
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. Maybe we can go with they're separated, and my character doesn't know about it yet. I guess the curse could happen after my character left. Does that sound alright?
Fraelin
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. Yes, that's absolutely fine. ouo And we decided on fantasy, yes? Because I guess we'd be putting this in a village setting. Or maybe even town because I imagine once my character went through his change he went into either hiding or left their home town completely. It would probably depend on if they were suppose to meet back up in their home town or not I'd imagine.
UndertheWeather
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. Yea, fantasy. Hmmm. Didn't think of that, but meeting back home should be fine. But it could also work if your character to run away, but coincidentally met my character at the place where you ran to after years of separation. I guess it depends on how your character reacts to the curse that he got. You know?
Fraelin
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. Oh, he'd panic and get this idea that everyone is out to end him because he's just this fleshy blob of bad luck with wings and horns. So yes, he probably took off. And one thing is for sure, he's staying out of the public's eye. As for your character, what if he found out about his friends disappearance somehow and about the same time a 'beast' appeared in the forest not too far off. I'm sure my character would have been hunted by now by villagers so he's probably moved on to avoid that drama.
UndertheWeather
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. Er. Maybe not. I think I'd prefer that my character was separated from your character for quite sometime. He's in a nearby town, and they haven't talked since the separation. Then one day he heard of rumours of the beast in the home town. And by chance he met your character when he's walking in the forest or field or somewhere away from the towns. Your character can turn back to human form right (one way or another/voluntary or not)?
Fraelin
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. Yeah, I want him to be able to change but I want it under certain circumstances. I'll have to think it through. As for that idea, yes. I can swing it.
