"I already told you that I'd stay with you...no matter what...as long as you'd have me." murmured Tai softly, squeezed his hand back. It's so hard for me to believe you when you say that...you are scared of me...even in your sleep you are scared of me...it makes me feel worthless, and stupid, and hated...

The shy whitette lightly kissed the back of Tai's neck, his lips warm against the cold skin. "The way you hold me," he whispered, "is much nicer than the way Takeru did." He closed his eyes and nuzzled him once more. "Don't doubt yourself around me...even if you mess up a million times I'll stay with you." I'm telling the truth...but I don't know how to make you see that. I've never felt this close to anyone before, and I don't know what to do... He laughed softly. "You should be more worried about me doing something wrong."

Tai sighed softly, "To not be doubtful is a hard thing to do...especially when I've never had confidence in myself for my whole life..." Nuzzling his head gently against the whitette'e chest, he said softly, "I'll try to have faith in myself...so you can be happy...that's all I want...for you to be happy." But you can't mess up in my eyes, you're perfection to me.

"I want you to be happy too," he said simply, his tail brushing back and forth against Tai's arm in an attempt to comfort him. I know that it's nearly impossible not to doubt yourself...I do the same thing...but I can still hope that you won't.

Tai closed his eyes peacefully, calming down a bit, his mind resting a bit, "Would you like to go back inside?"

Katsumi shrugged, holding onto the other tightly. "I don't mind being out here, but if you're cold we can go in." The neko was shivering, given how he was always cold even when it was warm, and he felt rather numb. However, he would stay out if Tai wanted to.

Tai sighed softly and sat up, escaping the embrace, lightly, he glanced at Katsumi and offered a hand to him, "What would you like to do now?"

The younger male gave him a small smile. "There's not much to do at three in the morning," he pointed out gently, taking his hand as soon as it was offered.

"I'd say star watching, but it's cold, I'd say cloud watching, but there are no clouds, I'd say shogi, but you have no clue what that is...hmm...how about we just spend time together? And just talk?" Tai was trying to think of something they could do, as he walked towards the door and opened it for the other male.

"Sure," he said with a nod, his ears perking up. "I like talking to you." He blushed slightly, lacing his fingers with Tai's.

Tai nodded softly and smiled faintly, "Okay, sounds like a plan." He guided them over to the couch after closing the door.

Katsumi sat down next to him, slightly tilted onto his side with his knees up. He curled his tail around his left ankle and moved close to Tai, leaning against him and letting out a quiet purr.

The caramel teen drew his feet up onto the couch beside him. Tai smiled softly at the younger male and drew an arm over him, drawing him closer to him. "What would you like to talk about.

"I'll talk about anything," he replied. "Tell me about what you like to do. You know, when I'm not around." Even now he wanted to know more about Tai.

[{｡^◕‿◕^｡}Ciel]

"What I like to do while you're not around? Um...I guess play shogi against myself, watch the clouds, meditate, pick berries, take baths, swim, um....I can't really think of anything else that I enjoy doing. What do you like to do when you're not with me?" asked Tai softly.

Katsumi tilted his head in thought. "I listen to music, and read. I used to play video games when i was younger, but I don't really like them anymore. They hurt my eyes."

"That sounds pretty cool, I don't really like video games much anymore either. So...what now?" chuckled Tai softly.

[BlaqueCatt]

He bit his lip, trying to think of something else to discuss. "Um...well...when you said you were helping at my school, what exactly were you doing?" He was spouting out random questions now, however he was curious.

[{｡^◕‿◕^｡}Ciel]

"Oh, right. Well, I come in a few times a month, or once or twice a week, depending if the school needs me or not. When it comes to physical education I come in during the swim days, and work on swimming with other students, or I'l come in during math, or ELA, or foreign language. I am permitted to be a teacher assistant for grades 10th-12th." Tai said, not really fond of the job at all.

The neko's blue eyes were wide. "Really? Wow. Is it fun? Do you like your job?" He had leaned closer while talking, his tail wiggling behind him.

"Not really, especially since I graduated two years ago and the seniors and juniors this year know me, and I never really liked anyone at school in the first place, I mean, I never really knew you, I knew everyone else, and I hated everyone because they teased me and bullied me constantly." said Tai with a soft sigh.

Katsumi's smile faded and his eyes darkened. "You were bullied...?" He sounded confused, not really understanding why anyone would want to tease Tai. Even though he was different, he didn't seem to be the kind of person to get bullied.

"Yeah, I was...a lot of...bad stuff happened to me...especially since I was..well...homosexual...the boys were...cruel." He didn't really want to talk about it.

The small whitette looked down at his hands, shifting uneasily. "I'm sorry," he said quietly, not really sure how to comfort him. People came after me for a lot of different reasons, but only a few knew about me and Takeru.

"It's fine...it's all in the past...it doesn't matter now." He rested his head lightly on the whitette's shoulder, trying to keep himself calm, he seemed soothed by the neko's pressence.
