((Mmtay. I'll start then))

Given that Tai had a few minutes alone with his former teacher before his lover would get there, he decided to catch up with his teacher alone, maybe play a few games of shogi. As he knocked on the door of the room that Mr. Sarutobi occupied, he heard a "Come In", so he did as the voice said and entered the room and closed the door behind him.

"Ah! Taidanamaru Odayaka, a pleasure to see you here once more! Last time I saw you was about a month ago, when it was Thanksgiving time. Come come, sit down and talk with me!" With a small smile gracing his face, he made his way towards his teacher's desk, and he pulled up and chair and sat across from his former teacher.

Mr. Sarutobi was quite a handsome man, he still looked youthful, despite the fact that he was nearly forty ears of age. The years had been treating the man kindly, and his looks were the proof of it. A head that held lucious black hair, that was neatly combed, tan skin, a bit of black stubble on his chin, and he had a pair of cerulean eyes, almost that of an obsidian color, that looked like they were lakes with stars reflecting off the surface of them. Tai and Mr. Sarutobi looked as if they could be father and son. Sarutobi's first name was known by almost no one, though Tai knew him by the name of Hiroshi.

"Hiorshi-Sama, I'm miss you very much." Tai said hoarsely. Chestnut eyes were a bit dull, and saddened.

"Eh, how has life been treating you Taidana-san?" Grinned the older male, cerulean eyes obviously happy that his former-student was there.

Tai explained how his life was going, and how he had a lover, and explained to him about how his mindset was doing lately.

"Ah, well, I know who you're talking about. How about let's play a game of shogi while we wait for him?"

Tai nodded quietly, and they commenced in playing shogi.

Katsumi had his headphones in his ears as he walked down the hall, a slight bounce in his step as he walked. He hummed softly under his breath, on his way towards the room Tai had told him to go to during his free period. His black bag was slung over his shoulder, and his white hair was styled so that it hung gently in his eyes. His ears were sticking up and his tail swung behind him; no one had come near him after revealing the appendages, but he was still teased from a distance. He stopped outside of the door and peeked in, taking out one of his earbuds as he did so.

"Tai, this is the third time that you've beat me within the past fifteen minutes. Can I never win against you in this game? This you to be my favorite thing to do, and I was unbeatable! Look at you! If people thought I was brilliant, then they haven't seen you play shogi!" laughed the older male, wiping away a tear of laughter from his eyes.

"Eh, what can I tell yah? I'm learned from the master." chuckled the younger teen, a small smile on his face.

When Mr.Sarutobi saw the face peeking in the door, "Come in!"

Katsumi gave a small, shy smile, his face already slightly pink on the cheeks. "O-okay..." The neko entered the room, wrapping the dangling black cords around his iPod. He stuck the device and his hands into his pockets, standing there with an air of awkwardness, his eyes avoiding contact with anyone else's.

"Oh, you're Katsumi! You're the young man that Tai mentioned earlier! Junior, yes? I filled in once for your math class." said Mr. Sarutobi with a bit of enthusiasm, before he looked at Tai with concerned eyes, "Hey, Taidana-san, would you mind if I had word alone with him? Just a few moments?" With a bit of an unsettled look, the chestnut eyed male stood up and said, "Okay." Quietly, he left the room. Suddely, the teacher's eyes got slightly serious once his former-student left for a few minutes. Quietly patting the seat, he said, "Come sit down, I'd like to talk to you, Katsumi."

The whitette felt his heart leap from his chest into his throat, and his eyes widened slightly. "A-alright..." Worried that something was wrong with Tai he hesitated before walking over to the man and sitting across from him. His tail was tight around his waist and his ears were flat against his head, showing his anxiousness.

With a bit of a hesitant expression, the older male asked, "Do you really know what happened that made Tai the way he is now...? Why he's always so selfless, loving, but miserable? Why he's always fake-smiling, and always holding in his emotions...I know that you're his lover....but I doubt he's told you anything about himself...."

Katsumi looked confused for a moment. "N-no, he...he hasn't really told me anything. I want to know, so I can make him feel better, but I don't want to upset him by asking," he admitted quietly.

"Well...you've probably noticed...but Taidana doesn't have parents...he's probably talked about how they used to constantly call him a "lazy-ass", or other names before, which are all true...you see...his parents were murdered when Tai was in sixth grade...which was about eight years ago. He lives in the same house where they were killed to this day, and refused to leave. His father had died at war, as a war tactician...which is why Taidana-san had wanted to be a war tactician when he was older, because he always wanted his father to be proud of him. His mother ended up...committing suicide later on that year due to the depression that was on her shoulders from her husband's death. Tai had always loved his mother, but his father was another story, because his father treated him like he was bastardized, and treated him as if he were a misfortune, which was why Tai would often get into arguments with his old man, but he always tried to make him proud in simple way. But let me tell you, he was far from stupid, he's probably the smartest kid I've ever known, with an estimated IQ of over 200, let me just tell you that you've got a genius for a lover, as simple as he way be. I remember when I tested his IQ...in a very easy way, in the form of a game...I taught him how to play shogi...it was a game that I was very good at...I was about to teach him how to play, and he just said to me, 'Give me the handbook, I'll get this down in 10 minutes flat'. I've never been able to beat him ever since I gave him the manual. The reason he's depressed? He loved his mother deeply, and ever since she's died, nothing has ever been the same with the kid, he's always been a bit more reluctant, a bit more...lonesome. Taidana-san....was a very weak person at the time that everything was happening, and over time, he began to hate most women, because they reminded him of his mother. There was only a few women that I've ever seen Tai talk to and not have a scowl on his face. That's why Taidana-san is most likely a homosexual...because he could never look a woman in the eye, or ever see them the same after his mother died. He's so selfless because...he doesn't want to hurt others, he doesn't want to see them unhappy, he just wants to see the one's he love smiling and okay, and he'll make sure that the one he loves is happy, whether he has to hurt himself or never see them again, he would make sure to try to accomplish anything they desired, and putting his wants and needs aside. He always never truly smiles because he usually doesn't see a reason to, but he smiles for others so that they can have a sense of security, and a sense that everything is okay, even when it's not. He doesn't want to see people crumble into a mess like he has, he doesn't want anyone to feel the pain that he had... Taidana-san tried to kill himself two years ago...the year that he graduated from high school...at the last dance, my son and he had gone to the dance together, because they both didn't have dates, and my son truly did love Taidanamaru, so they went together...Tai was almost killed at that dance... because of the fact that his date was a guy...Tai didn't know how to handle the stress of his emotions anymore. Tai has been so scared and so alone, and lonesome ever since that night, I'm surprised he ever has a lover after what happened and what he tried to do. He doesn't really eat anymore...he doesn't hold an appetite...he never really could, he's always been so skinny, the young lad...he's just a troubled child...he just needs love and comfort to mend his tattered heart...he truly does love you...he talked to me...about how he felt about you...over a game of shogi." The teacher looked into the whitette's eyes the whole time, a serious gaze locked harshly in his eyes.

Katsumi was speechless for the longest time, staring at the floor, thinking deeply about what he had been told. "I see...that makes sense," he said quietly, looking up at the professor after he spoke. "I...I want to be the one to help him."

"The thing being, Tai doesn't want to be hurt anymore, he doesn't really trust you with his heart...he's too hesitant to let you help because he thinks that you're going to do something bad to him in the end...he doesn't want to be left in shambles again, he doesn't want to be broken, he just wants to feel....good about himself again, to not feel ugly or disgusting, to not feel like he's trash..." murmured Sarutobi-sensei under his breath.

His tail bristled in slight panic, biting down hard on his lip. "S-so...what can I do?" he whispered, understanding why Tai felt the way he did but also feeling sad that he didn't trust him.

"You need to find a way to get him to open up to you...if you just ask him questions, he'll most likely answer you, he hardly speaks unless he's spoken to." murmured the older man before continuing, "Truly, you need to show him love...to show him he cares...to get him to trust you...to have him be able to lean on your shoulder...for him..." He was cut off at what he was saying at first, looking as if he were going to cry for a moment before he said it, "To show him that he's not horrible, that he's not trashy, that he can be loved, that you won't hurt him, that he...that he isn't whoreish like he thinks he is, to make him feel good about himself, to make him feel like he's worth something, make him feel like someone feels compassion and respect for him, make him....make him be able to eternally love....I beg of you."

Katsumi wasn't surprised to see the beginnings of tears form in the man's eyes; he could sense from the moment he walked in the bond between the two of them. He gave a tiny, unsure smile, but nodded. "I'll...I'll try my best. I'll ask him, and I'll stay with him."

"Thank you, Katsumi-san." murmured the man quietly before asking, "Should I ask him back in the room, or would you care to retrieve Taidana-san?"

Keeping his hands in his lap, the neko responded quietly, "I actually have to go to class soon, so I'll get him." He got up, wobbling slightly at first, before walking over to the door and opening it.

Eyes focused on his feet, the beige colored teen was sittting out in the doorway in the hallway, twidling his thumbs quietly.

Chestnut eyes glanced up at his lover, offering a small smile, though he wasn't very happy in all truth. "Okay darling, I'll see you after classes...I love you." He reassured softly, his eyes glancing at the ground for a few moments before glancing up at his lover.

Katsumi's blue eyes were gentle, and he gave Tai a soft smile. "I love you too," he replied, patting Tai's head lightly before going down the hall to his second class.

Getting up from his seating arangement, he wandered back into Mr. Sarutobi's room and closed the door behind him, returning to the shogi board to play another game. (What now?)

(Okay)

Right before 4th period, Tai was told that he had to leave the room for about forty-five minutes while Sarutobi-sensei was teaching a class. He had beaten him 27 to 0 in shogi, yet he still wasn't bored of the game. With a small sigh, he left the room and made his way to the end of the hallway towards the large window that he loved looking out of. Tai loved watching the clouds.

Outside of the school, a bright red car drove up to the front, rather loud music coming from its speakers. It had no license plate and seemed to be in a sketchy condition, with dents and scratches across the sides. It parked by the sidewalk in front of the school and the driver's door opened. The man who exited the car was an odd sight; he was tall, with tanned skin, messy black hair, and bright green eyes flecked with brown. He was well-built but not too muscular and was dressed in tattered jeans, a black t-shirt and sneakers. He looked very much like Tai, though he had darkness in his eyes and a devious smirk on his face.
