"I guess thats possible." Vladimir took the towel from Kadan, blushing as he noticed it hanging out in the open. "Ok, but dont be in were form or naked, Mom will totally freak out," joked Vladimir. Covering it up with a sort of cough, he walked out to put the towel in the dirty clothes section of the laundry room.

Kadan laughed a little and when Vladimir he transformed back into a werewolf, crawled back down stairs and out the back door. He head to his hotel to sleep off the cold he felt in his bones. The next morning he backed his bags and headed for Vladimir's home to talk to his mother. He would tell here that Vladimir was chosen to join the peace core academy for his work helping others. And that it was very important that he come with Kadan to the school

When Vladimir returned to his room, Kadan was gone. He sighed as he went to lay down on his bed for a lil bit. Vladimir knows he should be doing his homework right about now but hes so tired he doesnt feel like getting up at all. Ugh, thought Vladimir, cant this year be up yet?

kadan was waiting for Vladimir that next day after he got out of school. He had already talked to his mother and convinced her to let Vladimir go with him.

Seth, Vladimir's best friend since elementary school, was walking home with him. They entered and Vladimir felt Kadans presence and was suddenly feeling excited, nervous, shy, hyper, and other mixed feelings. He wasnt sure how Seth and Kadan would take to each others presence. But oh well. Too late now. Vladimir yelled, "Im home!!!"

Kadan was sitting at the kitchen table drinking some tea when Vladimir and his friend walked into the house. Vladimir screamed " Im home" His mother greeted him with a hello welcome home. " Mister Vladimir, Hi My name is Kadan Moonlight the 7th. And Im here to take you to a new school for gifted people like your self" Kadan said as he drank some more of his tea

Vladimir heard a thump from beside him. Seth had dropped his backpack onto the ground. "What? You cant take him away!" Vladimir knew his friend would be furious with him if he left. But he had no choice. If he could have thought of another way than just leaving then he would have. Im sorry, seth, but i got to, he said to himself. "Really?" asked Vladimir. What type of school is that?"

"Its a school that studies people behavior We take in special kids to help with our research and other things that normal schools, The fact of the matter is son, that we can give you a better chance at life at our school then you get here" Kadan spoke sternly

"Ill think about it," Vladimir said just for the sake of Seth. "Seriously? Your really thinking about going!?" Seth was furious, Vladimir noticed. He sighed. "Yes, im thinking about going. And if i decide to go, i promise to keep in touch with you. No losing contact whatsoever. Okay? I promise." Vladimir put his hands on his friends shoulder to try and calm him down. He noticed now that Seth is trying desperately not to cry.

" I need your answer soon. You have only a few hours to get ready - your mother already signed you away to me" Kadan spoke from behind the two boys

Vladimir felt Seth jump under his hand. He turned around and sighed. "Then i guess i have no choice then but to go. Im sorry Seth, but i got to. Well keep in touch okay?" He asked Seth. He could tell Seth is not liking this one bit but will go along with it because he knows Vladimir needs it. "Okay," Seth finally said. "Under one condition. You dont lose contact. You keep in touch with me at all costs. Okay?" Vladimir knew this was coming but hes glad Seth cares this much about it. "Of course, Seth." Anything for you, he thought.

" Meet me by the horse stables when you are ready meet me at the horse stables. We need to buy some horses. we have a long jounry a head of us" Kadan said as he walked out the door

"Horse stables?" Both Seth and Vladimir said in unison. The surprise was evident on both boys' faces. Kadan left, but in the mean while, Vladimir and Seth went up to Vlad's room to get him packed for the trip. "Im not sure what to pack." That comment made Seth laugh. Vladimir don why he finds it so funny but in the next second he was laughing along with him. Awhile later, they were done packing everything he would need to take to the academy. Seth walked with Vladimir to the horse stables where they found Kadan.

Kadan was talking to the Stable master when the boys finally found him. " So Ill need everything one this list as well, can you have a boy run and get them for me please" kadan said handing the man a bag of money and a list. " Sure thing. Give me about an hour to get your horses ready. and your supplies as well" the horse master said, he turned and walked away. Kadan turned to see Vladimir and Seth. " Its going to be about an hour before we leave Vladimir, say your goodbyes" Kadan said

Seth and Vladimir went walking around the yard. They didnt really talk at first because of the pending leave. Its so sudden niether of them can really wrap their minds around the fact that Vladimir is leaving. Theyve known each other since grade school when Vladimir was the weird pale looking kid. Seth was the only one who would talk to him in and out of school. They started to spend more and more time together throughout middle school and now high school. Or at least part of high school. Since Vladimir is now transferring out of Clementine High High School. "So," began Seth, "your really leaving, huh?" Vladimir took a bit of time answering, but when he spoke you can tell its not going to be easy leaving Seth behind. But he has to keep in mind that he could end up hurting him more than protecting him like he normally does. Hes going to be vulnerable when Vladimir leaves. He cant help it though. Seth is just gonna have to hang in there. "I wish there was another way, Seth, and that i didnt have to leave you and Mother, but... I have to. I have to..." Vladimir added in a whisper.

While Kadan waited for the horses and things he had transformed into his wolf form and followed Vladimir and Seth. He wanted to make sure that Vladimir wasnt going to just run away from this Idea - he put a lot into this plan. Plus he want to keep an eye on Seth. He could put his nose on it but in his gut he knew it was the right thing to do

Vladimir was having a steady conversation with Seth when he stopped and stared into some trees in the forest beside them. Vlad stopped. "What is it?" he asked. Seth hadnt answered yet when he caught sight of a gray wolf. Kadan! thought Vladimir. Whats he doing? Spying on us? "Did you see that?" asked Seth. " Vladimir replied, "See what?" Seth took a lil bit of time answering, gathering his thoughts together. "A wolf," breathed Seth. "Ive never seen one here before. Have you" Seth added, turning towards his friend. "No, i have not. Which in fact they shouldnt be here at all," Vladimir said a lil too loudly but loud enough for Kadan to hear because he knows for a fact that that is Kadan in his were form.

Kadan's ears flatted as he heard Seth and Vladimir talking about him. He tried to hide back into the forest away from there sight, but still in ears range.

Vladimir excused himself and walked back towards the barn. He went into the woods when he knew Seth wasnt looking. He wanted to sneak up on Kadan and see why the hell hes spying on them. So, while Kadan was turned around watching Seth, he snuck up behind him. "Looking for someone?" he asked, leaning up against a tree.

Kadan turned and growled , then eased up when he seen Vladimir. " dont do that, I could have killed you" Kadan said shaking of the shock then turning bath towards Seth. " Are you going to be able to leave him behind?" Kadan asked/

"Why were you spying on us?" Vladimir asked, a little annoyed. Its not that he really minded it, its just that they could have been talking about stuff he didnt want other people to over hear. Hes big on privacy and secrecy.

" I'm sorry I dont trust your friend Seth. There is something about him that just hits the wolf in side of me" Kadan said looking back at Vladimir. " ill head back to the stables. its about that time anyway. be careful Vladimir. " Kadan said as he jumped from one log to another and vanished out of sight and back to the stable in human form

"Seth? But he wouldnt hurt a fly!" Yelled Vladimir. He ran after him but he was all ready gone. Vladimir just shook his head in irritation. "Heyy," he said behind Seth. "Its almost time." He didnt have to clarify. They walked back to the barn in silence.

Kadan was waiting for them. Two horse stood next to him. A large black one, which he seemed to be favoring. Then the was a medium sized brown one standing on the other of him. He cried out when he seen the boys bringing Kadan to face the boys. " There you are, This is your horse. Be careful. I heard he is kind of a fighter." Kadan said handing the rains of the brown horse to Vladimir. " Place your bag on his back and will be off" Kadan added

Vladimir didnt take the rains. Hes never ridden a horse before and hes a little scared. He doesnt want to leave, he doesnt want to leave Seth behind. He doesnt want to leave. The seriousness of the situation is starting to weigh him down. He whispered, "I dont want to go..." Seth just stared at him dumbfounded. "Wait. What? Your not going? But you have to!!! You said it yourself you have to. I dont want you to go but if you must you must. I know theres something wrong, that theres something your not telling me and thats okay because i know you will tell me when you are ready, not before. So dont get all sappy on me, kay?" Vladimir was shocked by Seths outburst. He didnt know what to say to that so he just nodded like he understood exactly what Seth was getting at. "O-okay," replied Vladimir. "Lets go." He tied his backpack to the horses and hopped on but fell back off. He tried a few more times before he made it on top.
