Alex stared at Sebastian and caught his hand before he could leave. He looked up into his face, "I-i'm...scared. Dont leave me here alone." He said softly as his ears fell back against his hair. "Stay with me till I fall asleep." He said again and pulled on the other male softly. He didnt want to be left alone not because he was scared but because he knew he wouldnt stay here. He would want to leave. He only ever knew the brothel. He didnt know anything else but there. A fresh tear fell from his eyes as he looked into sebastians. "please." He said again everything on edge.

He felt sad as he watched Alex in that state. He walked over him and sat next to the other neko 'alright, we have no hurry after all, I an get that anytime' He ruffled his hands through Alex's hair soothing him 'try to rest' he said as he continued brushing his hair. He waited patiently waited for him to fall asleep, trying to ignore his growling stomach.

Alex sniffled and layed his head in Sebastian's lap. A purr made its way to his lips and escaped before he could stop is. He closed his eyes and sighed. "Thank you sebastian. YOu dont even know me and you still want to help me." He said softly and turned onto his side hearing the others stomach growl making him feel bad for keeping him here. He fell asleep at some point dreaming of freedom and a life with Sebastian without having to run from the brothel.

Sebastian smiled warmly and blushed a little 'It makes me happy being with you' he felt embarrassed of his own cheesy line, but it was honest. He patiently watched him as he fell asleep, occasionally petting his head and observed him as he nodded and drifted off to slumber. Alex's head was tilted down, so he could not see his face properly, but from his steady breathe and his rested body, he assumed that the other male was fast asleep. He carefully shifted him onto the haystack, trying not to wake him up again, and then slipped out of the hideout.

Alex woke only a moment when sebastian moved him over to something slightly colder and harder than his leg was. He moaned softly in an irritated way and curled up his tail under his chin and his ears flat. He sighed lightly seeing his savior leaving but his mind to sleepy to really be able to do anything. Instead he just closed his eyes and imagined Sebastian smiling and petting his head telling him it was going to be okay. He slowly and restlessly fell back to sleep again.

Sebastian had spent a few hours collecting all the things that they needed and came back in the hideout with a stack in his arm that it blocked his sight. He knew the path by heart, so he didn't have any problem to arrive to his destination by his sense of orientation. The moment he smelled the damp air with a sting of moss, he knew he was home. He placed the stuff on the floor letting them topple over each other and stealthily walked over Alex. His ear tips perked up with curiosity and his tail curved as he peeped to see if he was still asleep, and much to his surprise he was. He couldn't help thinking of how cute his sleeping face was, he bent slightly and placed a hand on his head petting him lightly.

Alex hurt like crazy but couldn't wake up it seemed. He wanted to sleep the pain was too much for him the lashes on his back hurting more and more every time the wind would lick at them. He moaned softly feeling someone touch his head and he rolled onto his back before instantly jumping awake to a sitting position hurling himself into Sebastian as he screamed in pain. The open wounds on his back had touched the prickly sticks of hay that lay on the ground. Tears ran down alex's cheeks as he hid his face in the familiar scent of Sebastian's shirt. He clung to him not wanting to lay back down. His tail wrapped around his thigh and his ears were flat both in pain and in fright.

He nearly jumped out of his skin when Alex woke up startled and frightened. 'It's me' he said trying to reassure him, he noticed the blood oozing from his back and started trickling down on his hip. Sebastian sighed 'I need to nurse those scars, because they'll never heal properly if you leave them like that' He found it a little difficult to retrieve the supplies when Alex was clinging to him, but he couldn't let him go, seeing how frightened and vulnerable he was right now. 'Would you trust me?' he said turning to look at the other male.

Alex shivered and whimpered another lick to his wounds as he moaned softly looking up at Sebastian, "I trust you. But I'm scared." He said tears escaping his eyes still as one hand was clasped in the others shirt tightly. His face contorted in pain as another hit hi. And he let his head fall crying openly. He needed help and it wouldn't be just a band aid here and there. He needed stitches at least bit that meant going to the hospital and trying to do it that way when Alex had no money to pay for the bills.

Sebastian didn't know what to do as he watched him crying. 'I know that this isn't much but I can't do much, I don't have the transport or money to get you fixed properly' the wedge of his earlobes dropped and looked sad, because he truly wished he could help him as much as he can. 'So please can you bear with me? at least I can somehow clean and cover your wounds' he spoke, his bottom lip jutted out and looking concerned.

Alex nodded and turned for Sebastian as he sighed, "nn...rip the shirt off..." he said and winced softly again wishing they were indoors. "If it gets bad...I-i have to go back. They treat my wounds when this happens." he said and his ears flattened as his tail circled around Sebastians arm tightly. "Just fix me...it hurts..." he said softly as his eyes grew heavy the pain beginning to be too much for him. He would pass out soon enough specially if Sebastian started messing with the wounds.

Sebastian petted his head 'calm down it's going to be alright' he said with a reassuring smile. HE lifted the shirt carefully and pulled it over his head. He then dipped a ragged cloth in a basin water (which he brought earlier with all the other stuff) the basin was an old wooden bowl but it was enough to hold some water in it. He started dabbing carefully, trying to be as gentle as possible. He tried his best to clean them up and sometimes he asked him if he was okay or whether it hurts. For someone who had no experience he seemed to handle it pretty well.

Alex layed in Sebastains lap as the other worked on his wounds. He would moan in pain or wince here and there but the pain had gotten bearable and it wasnt new anymore. Not fresh. It was okay now he could take it if not he would pass out. He looked up at Sebastian once he finished and he slipped his hand to his cheek pulling his face down to his own, "Thank you..." He said softly closing his eyes and pressing his lips softly to Sebastians. He didnt have any other way to pay the male back this was the only way and he didnt mind it. He liked Sebastian already.

Sebastian continued dabbing the ragged cloth to his wounds as the water started to turn red with the washed out blood. After he was satisfied with his job he pulled some bandages but he was stopped when the other neko placed a hand over his face and kissed him. He remained frozen and stunned to him, realizing that it was his own way of appreciating him, he kissed him back, and placed his hands over his waist.

Alex broke the kiss with a shiver through his body and a wince that rang through once more. "mm...haha sorry Sebastian..." he said and bit the others lips. "I"ll have to pay you the rest later." he said and looked up at him. "I'm sorry for making you look after me...I-I think...I love you sebastian...ever since you saved me..." He said a blush running over his cheeks as his eyes closed kissing Sebastian once more before his body gave out once more making him pass out in Sebastians lap.

Sebby shook his head 'I really don't mind, I'm glad that I've met you, it makes me happy to know that I'm not a lonely neko anymore' he smiled and accepted the second his more outwardly though he wasn't sure what Alex meant when he said that he is going to pay him back later, but was struck him most was the confession that Alex made so openly about his feelings. He was so awestruck that he opened his mouth to say something, but he went dry for words. He hadn't been the least prepared for it, but before he think of what to say, Alex fell asleep on his lap again. He felt a sense deep of affection washing over him as he watched the other in his arms.

Alex fell asleep easily in Sebastian's arms as he sighed softly his ears twitching in his sleep.

 

-the next day-

Alex woke up later that night as he looked up at Sebastian before he finally hugged him. He was happy and ready to sleep again as he wrapped his arms around the males waist. Both were asleep now and he didn't mind. He wanted to sleep with him wanted to feel him close to him. He didn't know why. But just feeling his chest move under his head or the slow breathing helped him relax. He fell back asleep since the the morning or day hadn't even fully started it being early in the morning.

He was nodding, Alex could hear his shallow breathing. Sebastian appeared to be in deep sleep and still didn't move an inch from the spot he fell asleep upon. It was really hard for him to get such rest, because he was a light sleeper, trying to always keep alert (despite that his ears are quick in picking up sound). It was the first time in a long time since he was able to be so at ease. It was perhaps because his adrenaline wore out, ever since he saved Alex and also the anxiety to tend to his injury, mixed with the reason that he is not alone now.

 

Alex opened his eyes, rubbing his heavy eyelids from his sleep. 'Alex?' he muttered under his breathe

Alex moaned softly not wanting to wake up as he heard his name being softly spoken. He snuggled closer to Sebastian's chest as he shivered in pain his wounds killing him. "An...I'm awake..." He said softly before he looked up at Sebastian smiling softly before he leaned up kissing the other males lips softly. "Good morning." He laughed softly and smiled as he nuzzled the other male. He missed him he didn't know why but it felt like it had been awhile since he had seen him.

Sebastian's smiled wildly 'I'm glad to see you're better' he ran his arms around the other male, very gladly accepting his kiss. The silence bliss was broke out by a loud groaning from his stomach. Sebby blushed a little embarrassed by his body's protest '..ugh..are you hungry?' he said

Alex giggled at the sound coming from Sebastian and he nodded. "Mmhm I'm hungry. Just a little tho the wounds make me nauseas so I won't eat a lot." He said as he sat up sorta trying not to have Sebastian touch his body really at all fear if the pain that will shoot through his back. He knew he needed a doctor or the wounds would scar over. He needed stitches but he didn't seem to care. He was happy he was away from those people and happy that he didn't have to go back.

' I was wondering if you'd come with me?' Sebby wasn't sure how bad the scars were, he was no doctor. 'I don't wish to leave you again in this dingy place and I guess it would be healthier for you to be out in the sun, and those kind of things you know' he muttered in a half-embarrassed look, because such line where familiar to him, yet he didn't full understand them.

Alex giggled softly as he kissed sebby again happy for the warmth as he stood slightly only wavering lightly on his feet a moment. "What are you thinking of eating?" He asked knowing that both of them were weak and unable to pay for the food for an expensive restaurant. He moved and touched the other males cheek with his lips. "I'll go anywhere with you. You make me feel safe." Alex said as he spoke the truth.

'Actually I was planning of hunting...' he grinned childishly as Alex held onto him with his arms around him. It was the only thing he knew in order to survive 'We can go by the river and build some fishing rod, you'll see it's not really that hard, or else you can help me pickpocketing the villagers' he soudned excited and temporary forgot that his friend was injured, his expression became sour when he realized this 'I forgot you're injured' he said gloomily

Alex smiled lightly and stood weakly as he used the wall to keep himself standing. He winces only lightly as he smiled again. "I can still go with you though. I'll be okay to walk some of it means fishing then I can sit with you and watch. Just talk to you. I need to get something so I'll meet you there alright?" He said as he limped to Sebastian and touched his cheek. "I...I think I love you Sebastian. I don't know why. But I seem to be wanting to stay with you no matter what. I love you Sebastian." He said softly having forgotten saying it before he kissed the older male his ears flat in pain knowing what he was going to do was going to hurt Sebastian.
