"I could probably pass off as Ino, all I'd have to say is that I put in contact and died my hair black." chuckled the Hyuga softly before saying softly, "They'd be surprised, at least, that you'd have a more defined, more muscular girlfriend."

"It's best f you not compare to Ino. She's somewhat troublesome always after Sasuke. Anyway your a lot more elegant and beautiful like a precious lotus flower. So any ideas on what you want to do?"

[{｡^◕‿◕^｡}Ciel]

"Hmm...I'd like to spend time with you..." Neji hummed softly, a little bit more implied than 'just spending time'. "Depends, what would you like to do?"

"You know I'm pretty laid back so let's head to my room and you can spend time with me. An endless amount of time since I have so much of it." Shikamaru says.

Neji chuckled softly as he cleaned off the last dish. Finding a towel, he dried his hands off. Neji's hands didn't really get pruned, it was a kind of odd thing, but since his hands were so hard and had tight skin, they really didn't seem to wrinkle up. "Hmm...care to be my guide?" smiled the older, a hand on the back of his neck, a soft blush on his cheeks. He could use his Byakugan to see right through the walls, but he didn't see the point if Shikamaru could just lead him there.

"Uh sure. Follow me my sweet." he says holding Neji's hand. He walks slowly towards his room. It was quiet and dark inside until he turned on some light.

Neji nodded slowly as his lover guided him towards his room. The porcelain male rubbed the back of his neck. His room at home was a lot blander, given there was only a bed in his room, because he was usually outside or on a mission, given he was a Jonin now. Soft lilac eyes traced the room for a few more moments until he squeezed his lover's hand a bit tighter, before just deciding to hug him, just being gentle and sweet.

Shikamaru stops once in his room. He watches the expression on Neji's face as he was silent. He was surprised the other hugs him. "Are you alright?" he asked

Neji murmured softly, "Yes, I'm okay..." His voice was a bit lighter tan before, "I'm...alright..." Gently, he kissed the caramel skin of his lover's cheek, before resting his cheek against Shikamaru's.

Shikamaru smiled as he was glad to hear Neji was alright. He stays silent as he closed his eyes. He holds Neji close to him.

"I swore that you liked Temari and Ino...at least at some point..." The pale teen was rather relaxed before he smiled thinly, "I feel so lucky...to be able to be with someone like you..." Gently, the Hyuga kissed his lover on the area of his jawline right below the earlobe.

"Well at one point they did intrigue me but only as ninja. It wasn't nothing romantic about it." he says looking at Neji. "I am glad to be with you as well." Shikamaru says blushing

Smiling rather thinly, he wrapped his arms around his new lover's waist, pulling him closer to him, in a half-hug, rather content with this. With a soft sigh, he flopped down onto the bed with Shikamaru, just deciding to lay there, a thin smile on his lips, light lilac eyes glancing off into the distance for a few moments before he said softly, "Shikamaru..." His voice was a bit of a sigh before he murmured, "I have a feeling...that...my fate is almost near...I have a feeling that this war is what's going to kill me." He said this rather flatly, as if he was unimpressed with his prediction, quietly asking, "When I die, promise to take care of Hinata, okay?"

Shikamaru lays with Neji but jumps up and looks at him. "Don't talk like that. There's no way I'd allow such a thing to happen to you. Not after getting close to you on a level deeper than normal. If you vanish before my eyes you better be prepared to have me follow." he says seriously.

[{｡^◕‿◕^｡}Ciel]

"Wow, that sounded rather...classy, so to speak, for someone like you." admitted Neji softly, almost giggling, before stating, "You usually speak quickly and with as little words as possible, because it's "such a drag"." With another sigh, the Hyuga said rather gently, "It's just...I don't think many will survive that war.. I have a rather...bad feeling about the outcome...if I die, I don't want you to die, I want you to live, and be happy."

Shikamaru holds Neji close to him. "I seriously don't want to think about a world without you in it. I wouldn't be able to go on happily. A life without Neji would honestly be worse." he says unable to contain his emotions. This was pulling at his heart strings to the point it hurt.

[{｡^◕‿◕^｡}Ciel]

Neji blinked a few times, before gently kissing the young male's forehead, pulling him a bit closer, before sighing, "Shika-kun...we're shinobi...we die, we protect our village with our life...I know that you don't want me dead...no one wants their relatives dead, especially ones that we care about...you've lived through your father, Asuma-sensei...if I were to die, I'd want you to carry on like you did when they passed, I want you to find happiness." His pale lilac eyes were a bit creamy looking, though, a few tears ran down his face. Neji was one to rarely cry, especially for someone else's problems. Tenderly, he pressed his lips softly on his lover's lips, trying to prove a point.

Shikamaru didn't want to hear the fact and the things he already knew. Losing Neji would really tear his heart into pieces. "I get it.. I know the ninja way by heart but still...." he says looking at Neji. He was surprised to see tears in the other's eyes. Kissing him back was all he could seem to find strength to do at this point.

[{｡^◕‿◕^｡}Ciel]

Gently, he added a bit more force to the kiss, gently placing his hand on his lover's chin, and tilted it back a little bit before going back to ravaging his lover's mouth with long kisses, and short, peppered pecks, a kind of...warm, yet loving look trapped in his soft, creamy lilac eyes. Tenderly, he put his other hand on his lover's side, his grip gentle and courteous.

Shikamaru kisses Neji back. He eventually parts from the other looking into his eyes. "So what now Neji? I really just want to stay like this with you forever." he says

"Your choice...knowing you, you'll choose the best one." said Neji gently, softly stroking the tender locks of dark brown hair, a thin smile caressing his lips.

"I honestly want to be closer to you. I can't imagine letting you go at all." he says wrapping his arms tightly around Neji. Shikamaru didn't enjoy their previous conversation.

Neji sighed thinly, though a soft, tender smile spread across his lips, "Hmm..how would you like to become closer?" Gently, he traced small circles on the back of his lover's neck. There were many ways that he could think of becoming closer to the male that was in his arms. "I'd like to become closer with you as well." Plushly, he laid a kiss on his lover's forehead, drawing him a bit closer. Now, he gave his lover little pecks on the lips before drawing his lips away so that he could here the beige colored male's idea of closer.

Shikamaru stares at Neji. "I know of one way but its usually between male and women. I wouldn't know how to go about it with another man. I mean becoming one with our bodies." he said looking down. He was in deep thought now. He had no idea how to go about having any type of relation with anyone. Neji was his first love and in retrospect he was his only.

With a soft smirk, the lavender-eyed male leaned forward a bit, a bit of mischief...and a bit of warmness in those usually barren eyes. "Your wish is my command, your highness." He purred rather sultry, leaning forward and capturing his lover's lips in his own, hand lightly traveling up and cupping the younger male's face, his hand rather silky for the brutality they had been through.
