This is a roleplay thread for KiraMidnight and I to roleplay an ItachiXOC pairing~

[KiraMidnight]

Zane sat in a tree sharpening his Kunais. His Sharingan was shining brightly in the sun as he sat there. He knew no one was around at the moment so he didn't have to hide his eyes.

 

"Such a beautiful day..."

 

He mumbled to himself as the wind blew through his long hair, stray strands of it falling over his eyes and face

Things moved smoothly, like they usually did. Though, the palpitations in his chest were unsteady, his nerves frayed. These days just didn't feel right to him, they just didn't really work. Scarlet red eyes opened like a red midnight, hazed over with a sinfully dark haze, almost as if his eyes were lost, trying to figure out a way to actually help himself find away, as his brain continued to mend his thoughts that never happened with the reality of everything. It almost made him want to vomit. This was going to be a long day for Uchiha Itachi.

Zane finished sharpening all of his blades to a fine tipped point and smiled a bit.

 

"There..."

 

He jumped from his resting spot, moving his hair from his eyes softly. He hadn't needed to hide his eyes, but he did anyway, in a means not to be caught by anyone that may pass him. He had kept his eyes hidden for so long he had almost forgotten how to use them, but so long as he had the eternal Sharingan, he knew he would always be alright. He placed his Kunais and Shiurken in his pouch and plaed his hidden sword in a sheath that matched his dark colored outfit on his back. He looked around, scanning the area for anything threatening, and when he scensed nothing he walked forward, following the wind

It had only been two or three days since the massacre. Now, he was sent to go be a spy for the Akatsuki by the Leaf. He only had a few more days until he had to follow the path of being an accomplice in a criminal organization. The thought itself made his stomach churn violently. At the moment, his scarlet eyes gazed endlessly at the crows chasing the butterflies through the sky, sighing, remembering that this beauty was to be forsaken by him once he was done with what his new mission was. He was always loyal to the Leaf, and to his brother, nothing else mattered to him at this point. He felt broken, like a fractured porcelain doll.

As Zane walked he spotted Itachi and quickly made an attampt to change course. He had caught wind of what went down not long after he left...all but 2 Uchiha were said to be alive, Sasuke and Itachi...brothers of Uchiha and sons of Mikoto and Fukaku Uchiha.....he had been told Itachi was the one who slaghutered the people...but he didn't really believe it...yet an Uchiha was capibable of doing a lot...their clan was cursed in a sort of way

Itachi was a lot weaker than a lot of people thought he was. Sure, he killed his family and the rest of his clan, sparing his beloved younger brother, but he couldn't live with what he did. He wished that he had died with the others, though he knew that he had to stay alive, for the sake of Sasuke, and for the sake of The Leaf. He had to let Sasuke know that he still loved him, and let the Leaf understand that he's loyal enough to his village to work for them, even after all of the things they made him go through. Slumping to his knees, he fell forewards a bit, his face falling in his hand, tears streaming from his eyes, choking on cries every so often.

Zane hadn't been seen by the Uchiha's much so the risk of Itachi recoginizing him was very slim. He walked up to the crying man and placed his hand upon his shouder.

 

"There, there...Itachi...do not cry..."

 

He realized he spoke his mine and cursed himself for being so careless. But the sight of one of his fellow clansmen crying pissed him off...it made him want to destroy the one that broke the Uchiha will.

The raven-haired male froze in his place, as if once the other male had laid his hand on his back, he froze as if he had become a stature, his hand instantly shot towards his kunai-holder, and grabbed one of the kunai from the socket, "Who are you!?" His voice was somewhat shrill, and it was in between a mixture of confused and hurt. There was a light shade of purple under his eyes, and his eyes were a bit pinkish due to his crying. He obviously hadn't slept since the incident, and he was stressed, sad, and confused.

"I am Zane...I saw you crying and I wanted to check on you...are you alright?"

 

He had almost said his last name, out of habit, but caught himself and finished his sentance. He didn't want to get slaghtured by Itachi the way the rest of the clan did...though with his eyes he was visually stronget then Itachi and could protect himself a lot better

His red eyes were staring towards the ground. He looks like an older version of Sasuke-Kun...I miss my brother so much... "Why do you know my name...? Don't you know what I've done...? I'm a freak...a monster...you should just go away...I'll probably end hurting you too..." The young man fell on his side, staring out at the trees, almost caught up in his gaze, "I killed them all...for the sake of my village...and the safety of my brother...I just want to go home...and I want to just live my life the way I used to be...instead of doing what I'm told...I shouldn't have done it...I just was to die...but I can't..." His eyes began to tear up again, "Why...?"

Zane shook his head and picked up the delicate looking male. He looked at the man softly, a bit nervous that if he held him to tightly he might crack and break into a thousand tiny shards. He held onto his and walked to a abonden house, laying the male down on the bed. This house was his unofficially and he stayed there when he could. He covered Itachi up and sat down on the floor

 

"You won't hurt me, I'll make sure of that. Try to rest now ok?"

The porcelain figure was motionless on the bed, staring blankly at the wall. If I fall asleep, then the man will hurt me. If I don't fall asleep and he tries to hurt me...I can fight back. He's probably sent out to exterminate me...I almost hope that he is...as long as they don't kill Sasuke-kun. The raven-haired male was paranoid and very fidgety, his red eyes were shaking, and his hands gripped the sheets tightly, scared. This was the first time the Uchiha had ever felt so lost, so broken, so...worthless.

Zane sighed a bit.

 

"Listen, I'll protect you ok...now just rest Itachi...if you don't rest you won't be able to ever protect your self...you'll lose your mind...be glad...atleast your brother is still alive...I-I ended up foolishly killing mine...and what I gained in return...wasn't worth risking my brothers life...but I thought it was at the time...there is nothing that haunghts a man worse then regret and sorrow...but remaining always awake just makes it worse...face your nightmares as you sleep...gain strength and peice of mind from doing so as well...ok?"

 

He knew a bit of what this man was feeling...it wasn't long ago that he felt the same thing...the same loneliness and the same feeling of being lost...broken and worhtless...he knew what it felt like to want to be killed for the act that he had commited...a choice that was made by the both of them at one point in time...who knew it would have tworn their lives apart...their very exhistance itself haunted them...

Itachi couldn't really piece together how the man knew who he was. But that didn't matter. The only thing I would beg for...don't make me go to sleep... His red eyes were like crimson regret, and his heart felt hollow. I just want to die. His long raven hair fell into his eyes. Tears streamed down his face again. Mother, father.... The thing is, that it wasn't his fault, it was the Hokage's, the Hokage demanded it. "I was ordered to kill them all....by the Hokage...and.....now he's forcing me to join a criminal orginization...he only exiled me because I spared my brother....he wanted me to kill...he wanted for every Uchiha to die...and have someone to blame it on..." Itachi's stomach churned again, feeling like he had to throw up again, even though he knew nothing would come out from his empty stomach, except for blood. His heart felt empty, as did his stomach.

Zane nodded a bit and climbed into the bed with the male. He pulled him close to his chest, smoothing his hair like a mother would a crying child. He laid there, his heart a steady beat as he continued to pet Itachi, He didn't know what to say...or even what to do...he wasn't use to this...not since he killed his brother...not since his own mother and father abonden him

Itachi allowed himself to be maneuvered easily, not putting up any resistance for the other ninja. His crimson eyes looked up at the man, though they seemed blank, well, they expressed blankness, though deep behind that veil, there was the mixture of loneliness, grief, stress, and confusion. The young man was shaking, not knowing how to feel or react, all of a sudden becoming a bit frightened by the other man, and his eyes seemed to snap into reality, and he looked a bit frantic. The Uchiha was obviously having a hard time trusting anything around him. In fear of if he moved that he'd get hurt in some way, he stood still.

Zane could feel the tenceness in Itachi and slightly glanced down at him

 

"I wont harm you.....not now...not ever...I am not an enemy..."

 

He didn't know how to make the male feel any better...no one had been there for him when he needed them...no one in his...their clan cared about how he felt or if he needed a friend...

The raven-haired male didn't really think this through, but he slid his arms around the other male's neck, hugging him, holding onto him as if he were a lifeline, "-d-don't....hurt me...."

"I wont, I promise!"

 

He responded, holding Itachi softly close to him

 

"Just hold onto me, I'll support you untill you can stand on your own again, you just have to trust me"

The broken Uchiha's eyes had tears falling down his cheeks. "I'll try....to trust you..." He didn't sound all that confident, though he stopped shaking. His red eyes began to slowly fade, transitioning back into a darkened coal stage. He hugged the male a bit tighter, wanting the warmth he gave off, trying to ease himself into sleep.

Zane pulled a blanket over them and held Itachi softly. He knew he had a very caring side to him, and seeing Itachi in such a state brought that out. He would make sure to protect Itachi...and later on, after the male was feeling better...maybe he would tell him how he knew who he was

The male's breathing became shallower and softly, slowly slipping into a state of sleep at last, though after a few minutes of being asleep, he already started to cry, a pained expression creeping up on his face. His nightmares were slowly killing him, along with his reality.

Zane whiped his tears away softly

 

"Be strong Itachi, be strong."

 

He whispered softly as he held him

It was so hard for him to. He couldn't win against the monsters and demons that were crawling through his mind. His eyes went wide open, and they looked scared. He clung onto the older male again, though tighter, not daring to let go of the male, snuggling into his warmth, trying to scare the demons in his head away, trying to show them that he's safe, and that they can't get him.
