Dan slightly puffed his cheeks and sighed. Well, time to take some actions. "To solve this one, you'd use the second formula... Don't think too hard, Takashi. In these excercises there won't be anything too difficult, but just to make you more eager... Each time you get the answer right, you'll get a kiss from me~" After the brunette had said that, he blushed slightly. He hoped that this would get the red head motivated...

Smiling Takashi nodded. For kisses...well that was a good prize he grabbed his pencil setting it above the paper. First writing down the formula he looked to the first exercise problem.Ok Takashi you can do this. Just try and place the numbers into the right place and you will get it right. There's a kiss involved~ he was motivating himself to think.

 

Writing the numbers in...he had surprisingly placed them into the right space. So next procedure. Hmm....did he have to divide before working out the number in the parenthesis. Hm...well...it was the only way to get a zero on the other side of the equal sign. That was also correct, but the next step be was lost again. Looking to Dan he gave a nervous smile. "Help?"

Dan watched the red head write down the numbers, tilting his head a bit. Oh, he was doing good, at least for now! Of course, once he thought of this,Takashi asked for help,making Dan chuckle yet again. The smaller teen took a pen and got closer to Takashi, writing down some help for him. "There, and now if you do this..." His hand stopped and he looked at Takashi, waiting for him to solve the problem to the end by himself.

Nodding he took the pencil again. Ok he was doing petty good, but this was also an easy problem as Dan said. Plus his first problem. Sighing he finished the answer. Everything seemed right except for an integer. "Is that right?" he asked to other looking back at the answer. He had an negative fifteen. Looking back to the brunette he bit his lip. Glancing back to the problem. "Oh." he caught his mistake and changed the integer of the above procedure changing his answer into a positive three. "Or is it right now?" he asked glancing to his boyfriend.

A smile made its way to the brunette's face. "That's right~" After saying this, he leaned in to the red head and softly pecked his lips. "Now, move on to the other~ Since I had to help you with this one, you only get this~" Dan chuckled and leaned back, looking at Takashi. Now he knew why the other liked teasing him so much... Of course it was fun! Now Dan would repay for all those times...

Takashi was awaiting his kiss. He had gotten a small peck becausehe had asked for help. Pouting a little be nodded to the brunette going to the next question. It was similar to the other except this one had an fraction at the beginning. Which made it way different. Ok so last time I had to divide to cancel out the fraction but now....do I multiple by the denominator? He bit his lip glancing to Dan... "Uh...babe I ..." looking back to the question. If be asked for help at least he would get a peck if he got the right answer but....if he got it wrong no kiss at all. "Babe help?"

With a soft sigh Dan scooted closer to Takashi and looked at him. "Come on, this is easy! Look..." While talking he pointed at the beggining with his finger, carefully explaining what and how did Takashi had to do everything, slightly frowning. The situation was slightly worse than he had imagined... After finishing explaining as detailed as the brunette could, he pulled back a bit, waiting for the other to finish it himself. If the red head didn't learn it now, he would just keep on failing... Dan didn't want for that to happen, really.

Takashi felt really bad at the moment. He could tell that Dan was getting frustreatrf with him but he couldn't learn that quickly. Once something new appears he would have to ask questions YO understand .... Sighing he took the pencil and did as the other instructed finishing the problem. It was correct. He set the pencil down and looked and away from Dan. The red head knew that it wouldn't be so easy to tutor him but....-

 

Gripping his hair he pulled up his knees to lay down upon. Closing his eyes he groaned.. This was stupid. He shouldn't have asked the brunette for help. Failing was terrible but what difference will it make? It wasn't like he was planning to go to college so...

Dan blinked at the other's actions. Was Takashi that upset he couldn't understand? "Hey, Takashi..." The brunette gently called out, with one hand reaching out to put one hand on Takashi's. "It's okay, we'll both get through this!" The smaller teen said with a smile, not letting his gaze off Takashi. Would his words help or just worsen everything even more? The brunette hoped they'd help at least a little. He knew the red head was able to do it, he just had to try...

"I can't dammit!" he yelled pushing the textbooks away standing and walking from the room. He was tired of it all. Dan was frustrated and he just wasn't good at math. Fuck it all. He didn't need to graduate. He wasn't going to college so it didn't matter. The red head left his house all together slowly walking down the street. He leaned against the fence surrounding his house. Takashi did not care about school no way.

Dan was absolutely shocked when the red head just yelled at him,,, While he was... Just trying to help... The smaller teen bit his lip, watching the other go. Why was Takashi even so frustrated?... Not like he couldn't do it. With this thought Dan decided to follow Takashi and ran out of the house, soon spotting the red head. He ran up to him and stood in front of him, both hands on his hips. "Do you not want to learn? Takashi, you can't just run away from all your problems, you know."

"I don't know it! I'm not going to graduate and I'll just stay at home the rest of my life. It's not like I'm going to college anyways. I'm not college material. I won't make it." he said trying not to yell. He didn't want to try anything right now. fuck school, fuck math. Groaning he looked away from Dan sliding onto the ground. He looked away in the distance at nothing in particular. He could use a cup of hot coacao.

Dan crouched down in front of him, frowning. “Takashi... Say that one more time and I'll make you regret it. My mother's not the only one who knows how to threat... And will make it come true.“ Dan's voice was actually cold as he spoke. Takashi was acting like a little kid right now... Dan didn't like it one bit. It was annoying, even. “So either you go back with me now and continue learning math, which I will teach you no matter what, or I'll just go home...“

Takashi frowned at Dan. "What? I'm being honest Dan....fine just don't leave." he said standing. Dan didn't know how frustrating this was. To not know a single formula. To failing almost every test without someone else's help. He stood walking back into his room falling on the floor. Picking up the paper and book once more he waited until Dan started to teach him once more. The brunette was so bossy when he wanted to be. The older teen actually like it, he never knew that the other could act that way. This side of Dan was new.

Dan smiled when the red head was convinced to go back to studying. As Takashi walked back to his room, the brunette could only smile to himself. He didn't know himself he could even be like this... Well, since his mother was like this, he himself was bound to end up the same. Nice looks and an evil personality... No, he wasn't exactly like that. More like he had different personalities for different events...

 

As the two reached Takashi's room, Dan patiently waited until the red head got ready. Then, he started explaining once again, not letting his eyes off of Takashi.

---Hours Later----

 

Takashi had actually learned the first three formulas. A lot of practice with the exercise problems and other problem, some Dan made up, he had did fairly well. The red head thought that if it was a test he would have made a high C. That was better than failing. It was a lot better than failing. Smiling at Dan after succeeding another problem without help he puckered his lips for a kiss. He deserved it. Grabbing the other around the waist he tackled ilhim lightly to the floor. "Babe... I'm done with studying can we just make out.~" smiling widely at the other.

Dan was really proud of both of them. This studying session only proved that the red head was able to learn, and Dan was able to teach him well! With a smile the smaller teen leaned in for another kiss. Takashi had gotten a lot of them already, since he managed to solve most by himself. Though a blush still made its way to the brunette's face. Make out? “Maybe a l... little more studying?“ Dan still was quite uncertain about doing more than kisses with Takashi... Sure, the taller teen said he was sorry, but that didn't change the fact itself.

"More studying? Aww but I'm tired." pulling away from the other. Takashi was tired he just wanted to lay down. His eyes was dropping sleep present in the orbs....they had been studying for over five hours. The older teen was tired of looking at the math. He had seen it too much now. Groaning he glanced to the textbook. Was three formulas not enough for Dan? They has about seven more to reach him. "Can we just end it for tonight and just continue tomorrow."

Dan was slightly relieved that Takashi had pulled away. At least they should wait a bit... Which brings his thoughts back to the red head‘s birthday. It was tomorrow already. He still didn't have a present... A soft sigh escaped his lips and the smaller teen got off the ground. “Okay, then should I go home? I mean, I still have some homework left...“ Dan said, hoping the other won't argue. He needed time to think of a present.

Takashi let out a heavy sigh before standing also. Plopping onto the bed he stared at Dan in silence for a while. "Can't you just do it here?" curiosity dripping from his voice.. "I was hoping that you could spend the night." suddenly images of the brunette's mom popped in his head. Oh...yeah the red head had forgot about her. There was no way that he could call her to ask if her son could stay with him. Sighing again he fell back against the bed. "Yeah..your right. You should go home and finish your homework...and...thanks by the way." he smiled softly.

Dan bit his lip at the first question. Just as he opened his mouth to explain, Takashi suddenly changed his opinion. He couldn't have known, right?... Oh well, Dan would just hope he didn't and go home. “No worries~“ The brunette said with a smile and streched slightly. He'd go home now and he would think of a really good present for the other. He just had to...

 

After he collected all of his stuff, Dan turned towards the door. “Well, see you tomorrow~“

Takashi smiled before nodding. "Ok see you later." he explained. Then something hit him and he lifted. "Wait! I should take you home. I don't want any of those jerks hurting you." he said standing and going to grab his coat. How stupid could he have been? He had seriously forgotten about all of those guys and would have let Dan walk home alone! All by himself! Stupid, stupid, stupid. He would really have to keep these type of things in mind. If Dan was to get hurt he would have regretted it not being able to forgive himself.

 

Walking beside the boy blue and green coat in hand he kissed the other's cheek. "You know that I have to protect you." he said smiling at his boyfriend.

Dan only smiled at Takashi's words. The red head was worried about him? That actually made him feel good... And bad at the same time. Takashi was worrying about him enough to actually walk him home, while Dan himself wasn't able to even think of a good birthday present! Wow, he really wasn't the best boyfriend one could ask for... Well now he just had to think of an amazing present to repay Takashi for all of this.

 

The brunette took his coat with a smile, nodding at the other's words. "Yes, yes... You're like my knight in shining armor~" After saying this, the smaller teen laughed softly at the image of Takashi in an armor popping into his head.

Takashi smiled at Dan wrapping his arm around his waist before he pulled him out of the door. Walking down the stairs his mom looked to them before throwing a glare at the brunette. The red head caught it and rolled his eyes kissing Dan in front of her. Her face turning into disgust.

 

"Come on Dan." he said slowly pulling him out the door. He looked to his boyfriend and smiled. "Don't worry about her she'll get use to it." he said.

Dan gladly kissed back, not even noticing the woman until the red head mentioned her. His face turned bright red at the thought of his mom seeing them. She already didn't like him!

 

Even so, the brunette followed Takashi outside, shivering at the cold that greeted them. It was already way too cold for his liking. How would he even spend the winter when it could go to -20 degrees? He'd probably spend the days next to a fireplace... Yeah, that wasn't such a bad idea.
