The brunette was left to stare into nothing as he was left alone with his lover. A soft sigh left Dan's lips and he turned back to Jack, carefully tracing over his features. The black haired man seemed so peaceful in his sleep... As if nothing had happened. With a slight smile on his face the brunette looked around the room as a small dark blue box caught his attention. Stopping he looked closer to see the blond in room....192 was Caset. What was that idiot doing. Upon the later looking up he saw the red head and smiled before jumping out the bed and running to open the door. "Thank goodness your here....it's been days since we've arrived here." the blond voiced looking at Takashi. The red haired male shook his head. Damn Caset is such a funny character...though, then again the blond looked totally serious when saying that. Maybe he had fell unconscious or something....he does know we've only been her for about four hour, right? The twenty one year old asked himself looking skeptical at the blond. The more Dan thought about it, the more realistic it seemed. Jack was always caring, they lived together, they did a lot of things together and lately the older male did talk about families a lot... How he'd like to get married some day. Could it really be the black-haired male really had an intention of proposing to him on this trip? Would Dan have said yes?.. Who ever knew someone who could talk so much over nothing. Ok...that was another minus. Three strikes..this guy was not his type anymore. Cadet chatted on about nothing in particular until they got to room 89. It was a single room...not occupied by a soul. So this would possible for the red head. The blond thought looking at his roomate. Why was he staying all the way down here on his own? The nurse looked toward Takashi and nodded giving him permission. Sure, he was going to be 21 in a few weeks but still... Did he want it to happen with Jack? With a soft sigh Dan put the ring away and shaked his head. Of course he would've said yes! He loved Jack, Jack loved him, they were the perfect couple.. And still, Takashi couldn't leave Dan's mind. How would the red head react to their weddings? The one objective the twenty one year old had now....was to go back home. There was no way he'd enjoy the rest of the trip...it was just too much stress for him. The red head had given up...nothing would work out and he wasn't willing to try any longer. Once he leave the hospital...he would do his best to leave the trip all together. That was the only way to know, after all. Dan looked around for the nurse and asked her where could he find the red head. Once he got his answer, he made his way downstairs and stopped in front of the door. After awhile the thin male knocked on the door and slowly opened the door. "Hey, Takashi, you have a minute?" The brunette asked at first, not wanting to ask the main question at first. He was afraid of what might the other say... Of how he might react. So...I guess there is no point in trying anymore is there? He's completely left me behind...no feelings....no love. The red head sat in silence, head down as he tried to calm himself.. "...Then I guess it's over. There....is no you and me. All...of it was just fantasy. Lies we were promising to each other. Ones we knew that had no way of working even if I had stayed." Tears gathered but he refused to let them fall. He would not cry again...it would all be in vain. "Well...I hope you make the right choice. Just know that I still love you and I always will. I will not move on. I meant....Every. Word. I told you." Bawling the sheets on the bed in his hand. "No one can love you as much as I can Dan." looking up to the other. The brunette was using shit against him...things he couldn't help at rise times. "I've always looked after you Dan...Your the one that made me this way....I love you." It was true that Takashi found very few men attractive, but he could never see himself with them. Not at all....the only male he could ever love was the one in front of him. The only problems he had ever ran from was school...when he hurt the other...when he seen Dan with Jack- sighing he shook his head. So the brunette was scared of him...scared of him for what? He has done nothing to him....but it didn't make since anymore to him. "I only wanted you happy. Not to be upset, frustrated or hurt. If I hadn't ran from my problems do you know what I would have done to Jack the first time I saw him hugged up to you? I'd have tried my best to kill him." He confessed through gritted teeth looking at Dan. The petit male was pissing him off each passing second. "Then why would you be scared of me...I would do nothing to hurt you. If you view me as weak....why are you afraid of me?" The man just didn't get it....what was Dan trying to explain. He should know that Takashi would never hurt him....ever! I wish you the best in your marriage." his heart once again breaking. Everything was over and there was really nothing he could do. Once he was out, the thin male let out a few sobs and tried to wipe his tears, yet failed to do so. Soon he gave up and just ran back to Jack, who had woken up already and burried his face into the older male's chest. His heart felt as if it was breaking... "Dan, baby, what happened?" Jack asked while holding the other close. Dan took awhile to answer, but he still did. "I saw the ring and... And I told Takashi...." The brunette whispered out in between sobs. The blue eyes widened for a second, then he sighed softly. "Well, there goes the surprise... Baby, please stop crying... It's gonna be okay, you hear me?" He at least thought that he and Dan could get back onto the right path, though that just jumped from the window....and died. The male he had loved for over eighteen years, seeing as when he was three he told his mom he loved Dan...but as a kid he didn't know what it meant; he just knew he was always so happy when the other was around...well....he was gone. Had unconsciously chosen the path that the red head would choose. It was a slim chance that the other would ask him to stay, but the red head was wishing for that small percentage. He's not the same Takashi he was... He's not the person I fell in love with anymore..." Dan whispered out, tears rolling down his face. "Dan, stop crying... I understand, I won't say it anymore.." It was all so ridiculous to him....some true, but did it really matter? If the other was to choose Jack over him, which he already have, there was nothing that he could do. Nothing at all. He wouldn't try anymore....Dan had said he was making his life miserable. Takashi knew how that felt....and he didn't want to ruin it for the petit male. Looking up he spotted the blond again. Caset was biting his bottom lip looking really sad. "I'm really sorry about what happened?" the blond had hid around the corner once he saw Dan approaching, but the brunette didn't seem to notice him when he ran from the room crying. "It's fine...I knew it would happen." The twenty one year old voice all emotions seeming to drag in his voice. He waited until the brunette stopped crying and gently lifted his chin up. "Now... Let me do this properly. Well, as properly as I can." The black-haired male started, starting to feel a bit awkward. Why would he?.. "Dan... We've been together for over 2 years now. I love you more than anyone else could and I want for that to continue even longer... I want to spend the rest of our lives together." There he stopped and opened the dark blue box in his arms, a soft smile on his face. "Will you marry me?" As these words were said, tears once again started falling from Dan's eyes and he nodded, watching the ring slide on his finger. Seconds after he wrapped his hands around the taller male's neck and burried his face into his neck. "I love you too, Jack..." The brunette whispered out, his tears making his lover's shirt damp...
