Masaka
I think one of my relatives probably saw me this week playing DMMR, I don't know if the expression on my face tipped them off and they peeked at my screen but they were looking at me really funny. But yeah I've been caught before, though I usually try to view the more steamy stuff when I'm alone.
Sekigahara
My dad sniffed through my internet history and grounded me for a week. This time I make sure to use incognito. I live in a conservative environment so they were pretty disappointed that im exposed to "Devil Cartoons" hahaha.
boombadump
I indulge myself in yaoi deep in the night so I've never been caught. But there's always daydreaming and I keep getting caught doing that all the time~
Lolita-sama
shhh^^ I was starting to read Kohitsuji Hokaku Keikaku, but I had a bunch of tabs open looking at magazines I should subscribe at on jbox/ jlist. I was also looking at the lolita clothing on baby and angelic, so my mom comes in and I switch tabs and casually start talking about lolita showing her the dresses I was looking at, and while switching tabs, I land on the manga one by accident twice >///<. i said would never read something like that religious and accidentally opened forgot to close an inappropriate manga tab from the jbox jlist page since was looking at magazines wanted know what they were about had safe>
jeno_cide
Well..i just ventured on this hobby and i find it great...stories are not typical compared to other 'love stories'..anyways going back to the question, whenever i watch BL movies (yaoi, etc) i aways see to it that no one is watching however there was an instance that i was watching Love Stage when my close friend came inside the room without knocking and caught watching it (and the akward moment was that i was caught on the kissing scene part)...and i was like so embarassed,,,explained to him that the story is great....well eventually he ended up watching the whole series..and guess what? he loved it...lolz

Choco Berry
Some of my friends in my current work know I like BL/yaoi and they don't say much about it. But I get the occasional jokes and even ship my guy friends. lol They're cool about it. But when I was in my first job, I was caught once. I was reading a yaoi manga to my heart's content since I was placed in a corner cubicle. So my office mate approached me one time... Sorta panicked and forgot to switch tabs as I only minimized my browser. She asked if she could google something because her internet doesn't work. OTL I didn't know what to do and I just stepped aside and let her use it. I think she sort of panicked seeing a whole page of a manga with a boy's ass is sticking out... sweat all over. Her reaction was priceless as she struggled for a whole three seconds just to open a new tab. I think my soul left my body for a while there, standing in complete silence. Vinleifr
Up to this point I've been careful enough to not be caught reading Yaoi or anything related to the wonderful world of BL cheetah5
alexia__
Let's just begin by saying that question can go in different directions xD Anyway yeah I have, although I've tried to keep it hidden, my brother found out because of a little wallpaper that I forgot to hide on my phone and yeah... Well! Nobody else knows and my brother is an otaku also, so we don't go there in anime conversations, but he's a straight guy so you can imagine his reaction at first. Now he doesn't even care xDD
luna:
I forgot i left the page with the hot scene, and i unlocked the phone, i just hope she doesn't make anything out of it bcuz the screen width is small.... phew

pantastic_panda
Oh my... I have nearly been caught looking at BL fanart on deviantART. On of my younger cousins walked into the room just as I was closing the tab and scared me when he asked, "What are you looking at?" Another instance happened recently when my step-grandfather came to give me food while I was browsing through a thread here on YO. ^^;;
raccooncoon
Never got totally caught, thankfully. My close friends and my classmates knew about my obsession and I ship some of my classmates lol the otakus guy were just like 'no, dont' when im about to go in my fujoshi mode while the non-otakus were like 'yucks'. But theres one time when I was reading a really hot one on my phone and my friend who doesnt know about my hobby came from behind, I was like 'oh, hi!' in a very stuttered manner. I dont think she knew though. Other time my mom saw me reading a visual novel and asked me whats that. It wasnt on the graphic part so Im a bit relieved. What freaked me out tho, my mom usually never asked anything that I read or watch, but just then, she asked me whats the title and where do I got it O_O
unknownalias2013
I have had many close calls, when I had to use the family computer for my Yaoi addiction in the early years I developed a habit of switching tabs. Well, My dad noticed I switched tabs and actually confronted me on it. I had to show him what was on all the other tabs..Luckily, no yaoi was displayed...outright, so I started to read fanfiction instead to save myself from the graphic incriminating pictures but then he would come up behind me and read some random paragraph (he did this once)..again it was just the starting paragraph so nothing bad yet. He also noticed I would position myself so the back of laptop was facing the door so if someone came in I had time to switch tabs, I had to show him what I was doing again...which was just shoujo manga, Thank God. My sisters also like to randomly come into my room without knocking so I am quick to assess if my yaoi should be switched to a safer tab or not. The only time I can think I got CAUGHT caught was that I scrolling through deviant art for one of my OTP and my sisters came in and looked at the pictures...all of them were safe except one had a kissing picture. My mom has come into my room at times when I had some unsafe stuff or was playing Dmmd but I safely switched tabs or pressed pause so that nothing bad was shown. 0emma0
Ugh, my brother stormed into my room all of a sudden and I had to slam my laptop shut because I didn't have time to close the tab! I was reading a yaoi fanfiction . . . I think it was for the pairing SasuNaru? I don't even watch Naruto, though I want to. I only really ship them because of this one cosplay I saw. It was too cute! But anyway, he called for Mom when I wouldn't show him what I was looking at—because it was NSFW—and I had to make up some obscene lie to my mom. It was a pretty awful day, actually. Rikimaru
So two weeks ago, I tried to text some yaoi to my boyfriend, a picture of a bishounen with glasses and his entire face covered in jizzle. After it sends, I take a look at the name again on my phone, and where it SHOULD say my boyfriend's name it says "Mom"
Nyekos
I'm honestly pretty sure that I haven't been caught reading/viewing stuff like that... ever. If it has happened before, I'm sure I would've been able to remember the occurrence... vividly x'D! I'm pretty good at hiding things now, and since no one checks my history/leaves me alone in my room... it's quite easy! I just make sure there's an extra tab opened, and calmly switch to it if needed. :hamtaro-005 (8):
loverbl
I'm kinda proud of myself for not getting caught lol Here are some of my tips.... whenever I'm watching or reading something, I lean my back on the wall so no one can see me from the back and just in case leave like few other pages open... I always leave one side of earphone out so I can hear people coming and going. And always incognito!! My sister once asked me why I was on incognito and I told her I don't like leaving tracks... I hope that explained it to her... Never leave computer open!! (My family really don't touch each other's computer so...) But I did tell my sister about reading bl novels and offer some to her (not those inappropriate ones... weak ones...) but she didn't like it.. she knows I read some of bl NOVELS as a hobby not other things (wink wink). AobaxClear
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. I total thought you meant something else when I first saw this thread...such a genius I am. XD I have almost been caught by my mom several times though, and she just seems like she doesn't care. I usually hide somewhere or sit where nobody can see my laptop screen. Sometimes I use incognito too, it depends one what I'm watching or reading.
