Caristos raised an eyebrow. "He wouldn't mind me tagging along? Well... I'd love to go to an amusement park with you two. But in the meantime, can we just cuddle and make out a bit?" He then curled back into Kirito's arms and buried his face in his lover's chest.

"Of course we can. I wouldn't want to do anything but grant your wishes." he said happily. Just having Caristos back in his arms was enough for Kirito. He was so scared not knowing where he was. He hadn't fully calmed down yet. Slowly lifting his beloved's face, Kirito kisses him gently. At that point reality fully hit Kirito and he could no long hold back his tears. His exhaustion finally taken over his body.

Caristos widens his eyes at Kirito's tears, and holds the man close. He whispers, "I'm fine... I'm fine..." over and over again. It was hard for him to see his love cry, although he knows it's the unleash of emotions. He says, "Here, I'll carry you to bed..."

Kirito shook his head no. "I'm taking care of you. This isn't the other way around. I'll be fine. Just knowing you are here with me will calm me down. Please don't worry." he said carrying Caristos to the bed. He lays him down before laying beside him. Kirito doing his best to hold in his overflowing emotions.

Caristos said, "But I want to look after you too. I don't want you to become a wreck over this."

Kirito kisses him. "I won't. I am stronger than I appear." he said though that wasn't true. He was really torn up inside over this.

Caristos chuckled at that. He pulled Kirito closer to him and nuzzled his neck a bit. Finally he whispered, "Come on, even the strongest of people need looking after sometimes." Caristos sighed and said, "Don't worry, love, I don't think he can come after me again, as he violated his restraining order."

"My brother said he'll make sure they bury him under the prison if it means he can't get out." Kirito said kissing Caristos. He loved how the other always knew just what to say. "I' can only be strong for you. So just let me do so." he said

Caristos nods and kisses Kirito lightly."Alright love, take care of me and be strong for me. Then someday I'll be strong for you, and we can be strong together. So, when are we going to this amusement park?"

"I will do just that. Don't you worry." he said with a faint smile. Kirito wasn't sure how much longer he could hold himself together. His gaze drifting down a bit. "As soon as you are better. So just take your time to recover and don't worry so much." he said

Caristos yawned and then snuggled up to Kirito. "Then let's get some sleep love? Try to deny it but you do look exhausted. We both need the rest," was all he said before he started drifting off to sleep. He pulled Kirito tightly against him.

Kirito nods but he couldn't sleep. He was worried he'd awake and Caristos would be gone. He stayed awake the entire night watching over the boy. He didn't want anything to happen to him ever again.

Caristos woke up in the middle of the night, as he was a bit hungry and thirsty. He tried to squirm out of Kirito's seeming death grip. "Kirito," Caristos whispered, "I need to grab food."

"I'll go get it for you. You stay right there." he said jumping up out of bed. He rushed to the kitchen. He didn't want to leave his beloved alone for too long.

Caristos got up and dashed after him. "Wait! Kirito... Love, I can get it myself. No need to worry about me," he said as they both entered the kitchen. I think the granola bars are around here somewhere, after all.

Kirito turned around as he looked at him. "Please get back to bed. I can do this. Please let me." he said. He really wasn't well at the moment. Kirito was a complete wreck after this entire incident. He had also been trying his best not to let Caristos know but it was far too obvious.

Caristos stood and looked at Kirito closely. He could tell his love was barely holding things together. He decided to simply and turn around and head back to the room. This really shook him up, and he wasn't even the victim, is all he thought as he waited for Kirito to come back. Caristos couldn't help but fall in love with his lover all over again- not everyday people cared about him that deeply. However he was concerned that Kirito might try to smother him... He'll approach with caution. He shouts, "I'm waiting in our room, Kirito!"

Kirito returned to the room with a tray of different plates of food. "I wasn't sure what you'd want to eat. Just pick anything and the rest I'll put away for later." he said. Slowly placing the tray before Caristos, he then sits beside him. "If you want I can feed you. I know your pushing yourself so I don't worry but it's alright. I'm here for you."

Caristos picked up the tray with wide eyes. "Wow, love, you didn't have to go all out..."

 

He then reaches out and picks up a few things before looking at his love. He sighed and then said, "You haven't slept at all, have you," he said as he munches as bit. He sighs and then lays back down. "I don't want you to become a nervous wreck, Kirito..."

"Don't you worry your pretty little head. I'll be just fine. So get well and smile that adorable smile I love so much. As long as you do that I'll......" Kirito lays beside Caristos. His body couldn't take the stress anymore. Plus he was fatigued from lack of sleep. His body gave out and crashed. Kirito fell sound asleep curled up beside his lover.

Caristos pulled Kirito close and leaned against him. He whispered "Oh love, you're exhausted. Tomorrow I'm going to be pampering you," before falling asleep.

Kirito continued to sleep beside Caristos. He didn't expect his body to give out so suddenly. As a doctor he knew better than to ware himself out like this but it was for his beloved. He had no regrets.

Caristos got up before Kirito in the morning and snuck downstairs. He thought, "Wait... he doesn't eat breakfast. OK, then I'll just make him coffee."

 

Caritos starts making his beloved coffee and choosing what they'll eat for lunch. Caristos smiled as he worked: It was so nice to be home and in his own kitchen. He thought about the day with Kirito's brother... He'll try to get along with the brother to the best of his ability. After all, he was rescued by him.

Kirito awoke to see Caristos wasn't beside him. He instantly freaked out and rushed down the stairs. He calmed down seeing the other in the kitchen. "Don't scare me like that. At least wake me and say you'll be down here." Kirito said walking over to him. He kisses Caristos upon the cheek. "Are you prepared to go out today? My big brother is getting antsy about it." he said

Caristos nodded as he handed Kirito his morning coffee. "Of course, my dear," he began to say, "We can spend time at an amusement park together so long as he agrees to tie none of us up and keep his handcuffs... in his pockets!"
