Glad that they've achieved their desired compromise, Cadis stood up and stretched his long arms. The male looked at the other Neko as it gave him a warm smile. The smile was so bright that Cadis couldn't help but turn his head towards the other side. He wasn't used to others company except when he's with his master. But he'll try, he'll try to get friendly to some.

"Where?" Cadis never knew which way would they go after eating. He had supposedly planned of going back to the inn but was taken a back when Xirre had that look of anticipation embedded on his face. The blond scratched his nape as he surveyed the surroundings of the city. He wasn't sure where he could take the Neko. A place where fun or relaxation could've taken place.

"Let's visit their tourist spots." He calmly stated as he glided his arms, pointing at the directory booth. There were lot's of beautiful places in a place like that. Even their building were emitting wonderful structures to look at. Just the mere sight of them made Cadis happy. Was it the same with Xirre?

Glancing at the area the other had pointed at he raised a brow. A...tourists spot? The place was beautiful though so it would be fine to visit Xirre wouldn't really mind. Humming he looked at the other and nodded a little. Slowly walking toward the surface he turned to look at the neko.

"Are you aware that a contest takes place tomorrow?" he asked looking at Cadis. His blond hair sure was striking it was an attraction to him. Xirre had a liking for blond that was why he had dyed the fringe of his hair blond as well. Slowly turning back to the tourist site he admired it from a far. Many was gathered there guess it was more beautiful up close than afar.

The cold was snacking at his skin. The brunette folded his arm intending on staying warm. The least Luim could have done was give him a coat to fight off the temperature. Once again stating....the dark haired neko hated the cold it was worse than getting a kick to the face and he had felt that many times.

"Really?" Cadis paused a bit. Was he that outdated or incompetent for not knowing about the upcoming event. He wasn't a bit prepared for it. The male was suddenly deep in thought. What would he do? What was the contest this time? Will his master be watching from afar?

He was taken a back when he noticed that Xirre was slightly shivering. Looking at the cloud covered skies, Cadis also felt cold but it wasn't that he hated it. But the Cat had thought buying some thick coat along the way. He felt bad seeing Xirre shivering behind his thin clothes.

They visited another shop and spent some money for a black and brown trench coat. Cadis handed the black ones to Xirre as he'd worn the other immediately.

-- I should start searching for a part time job. He felt bad spending his master's hard-earned money for some trivial items.

Xirre looked to the male as he began to walk away. Quickly trailing behind the other be caught up with him stepping in step with the blond. A shop was what they were going into, but what for? The brunette thought that they would go to the tourist site to view the beautiful scenery. Though upon the Duke's pet buying a set of coats he smiled. The male was really looking out for them.

Pulling the coat onto his arm he stuffed his hands into the pockets of them smiling at Cadis. "Thank you so much. I was freezing." the cat voiced looking to the grey clouds accompanying the sky before glancing back to the other. It seemed that a storm would be taking over soon. Xirre was actually pretty fond of them, all except the rain that was. So he would stay inside and watch the lightning. It attracted the other because of the beautiful display of lighting the sky.

"Oh and about the tournament it's nothing you could really prepare for. It all comes from within your brain." he explained tapping his head looking to the bread that he hadn't finished eating. Carefully placing it in his pocket he walked to the site at which Cadis had pointed at not to long ago. "It's logics...I hope your smart." teasing the other lightly.

The Cat made a slight smile as he stared at Xirre. The coat really looked so good with him, his hair complimented with its color. Cadis and him both went to the directory as they eyed the messy map. Though everything was a first for Cadis, he thanked his master for teaching him to understand maps of that sort. Tracing his hands to the long subway station and then to a square where a name was located. That probably was their first tourist spot.

"Let's go--" Cadis grabbed Xirre's hand tightly. They were engaging to enter a crowded area, he really don't want to lose Xirre in there so he decided to took a hold of his arms.

The both of them had arrived at the subway station when Xirre had started to talk about the tournament. "Logic--I couldn't consider myself smart but---" --At least it would not be a battle--- He continued the sentence inside his head. Cadis really hated tournaments that are engaging battle. He's afraid his real personality would suddenly slip in without his further notice. The male, remembering it suddenly, frantically stared at his reflection on the train that was speeding down.

--this is really hard Without his master, he might wreck havoc unknowingly.

The subway was crowded with many citizens and their pets. Xirre looked to Cadis and smiled. "You seem pretty smart to me, but.....the contest after tomorrow is the one I hate so much. I'm such a c-....a coward." he admitted, it was true every since the brunette's past if there was anything dealing with violence he would flee. The fighting contest were mandatory for all pets. If a owner tried to hide away their neko so not to battle they would be arrested and put away. Sighing Xirre remember all the bad experiences he had. If not for his master he would be dead for sure.

Looking up to the blond he averted his eyes once again. This would be awful whenever he and the boy had to fight. Not that it was actually hard to determine who would win, Xirre wouldn't fight a fly if it engaged him. Glancing at his reflection in the mirror from his pierced exterior, brown and blond hair to his red eye and patch. Biting onto his lip he at least looked intimidating but in all reality was a push over.

"You know... It's easier for you. I'm sure for the Duke of Luxor's pet that you can defend yourself. There was fighting lesson you were trained at one point, right?" he asked having to turn his head to look at the other since Cadis was accompanying his blind spot. Turning fully to the blond he leaned against the door of the train engrossed in what the other was saying. Cadis was interesting to Xirre there was just something about the beautiful blond that didn't seem right....not right at all.

"Trust me, I'm not. But from the looks of it, you can make it--just be confident." Though he placed this words to Xirre with higher value, Cadis was the same as him; completely lacked confidence. The male could just give him all the inspiring words he could think but in the same time , he had a doubt if he'd be able to apply it to himself.

The both of them entered the train, Xirre was still anticipating for more. His eyes were beaming out of curiosity, wanting to know more about the blond. Cadis gulped a bit, he wasn't used at describing his experience, more or less, in front of a newly found friend.

"It's true I was tasked to learn some. Truth be told, I hated fighting--" --lies... Cadis turned at the mirror as he saw something eerie behind him. "--- so how about you?" He immediately diverted the other's attention. Cadis wanted to stay away from that that topic.

He immediately placed both of his hands inside the pocket of his trench coat. They were tightly shaking as he formed fists with it. Trying to fight whatever was happening inside of him. Glancing at the mirror, he noticed his pupils sharpening. The male immediately pretended to stare at the crowd hoping that Xirre won't notice anything. His indeed a man full of foul secrets...

"Me..I also am not much of a fighter. If not for Luim I would have been killed on many occas....io...ns-" his word dying slowly as he watched the blonde. Cadis didn't look fully here was there something bothering him? Studying the other intentionally he smiled. "Your eyes....they...changed? How is that?" he asked curious. The male had heard others say that their eyes changed with the season but thought it was all lies. Could Cadis possible be one of those people?

The eyes had sure been diffrent a minute ago also the blond was acting strange. Why was he acting that way? Was he in a bad mood? Well....he seemed perfectly fine just a minute ago. Thinking the brunette looked sadly at the other cat, maybe he had saddened him with making him think of his past. Of when he was trained to fight but hated it. "I do apologize if I was to bring up bad memories." he voiced. Maybe it was better if he didn't ask anything personal. It could cause a disturbance between them and that's the least the pierced pet wanted.

Back to the mirror he stared at the blond through it so he wouldnmt feel uncomfortable. The dark haired cat didn't want to start any troubles for the other who had helped him from death's grip. Pulling the trench coat closer to hide his lower face Xirre continued to stare to the blond. Maybe Cadis was deep in thought or was just ignoring him.

"I'm fine-- " The words that were so redundant and ear tiring. It's almost obviously a lie when he stated it as of now. The Neko had even started to be wary of him. Xirre was sharp and he'd expected the opposite from him. He didn't know if he'll be happy or sad because of his sharpness.

"My eyes? Well they do changed--ha-ha-" A dry laugh followed the words. He wasn't the least convincing but this things that he'd always do might rise the suspicion of Xirre. Placing his palms on the forehead, Cadis inched backward at Xirre. Their position facing at the door of the train. Cadis could still see his sharp pupils, they were never dilating as it was still strikingly sharp.

He remembered that his master would usually let him drink supplements early in the morning. But now that Richards was away, Cadis had realized that there's something in that pill that stops his real personality from wrecking out.

The male wasn't even that good, all was just an act. It's as if it's a deed that'll satisfy something inside him, an action where people could communicate with him. A persona where everyone won't fear him, the name was 'Cadis...'

Xirre knew that the other was outly lying but wouldn't force him to say anything. If Cadis wanted to tell him something he sure the man would. Looking back to his appearance be turned toward the famed pet once again before slightly smiling. "Well...ok." be said still looking at the blonde's eyes. They had changed not only a deeper color but the pupils had grown into a more piercing shape. There was something wrong here. The brunette could only place it as the other being- ....

Forgetting that thought Xirre watched the train beginning to stop? Was this the post where they got off as well? Looking back to the other neko be raised his eyebrow to ask the question running through his head. More citizens bustling onto the train only made it more crowded as more was coming in than leaving.

Stumbling due to a push Xirre backed away from the entrance to let the owners and their pets onto the train. He frowned, the least they could have said was excuse them. The dark haired cat ruffled his hair from his eye while grabbing the blond's hand and pulling him off at the second they were able to leave the crowded area. The brunette isn't claustrophobic but even he felt that way in there.

That being said, Cadis kept his mouth shut for the time being. He really wanted to grab that medicine and what's more challenging, it's a supplement specially produced as what his master had ordered. What was that medicine all about? This thoughts again, and how was he supposedly gonna ask his master for it?

He was then pulled out of blue, eyes widening, he saw the eye-patched Neko resting at a place where there's a few crowd. "Ah sorry," Cadis tried to apologize for being a push over. His head was starting to ache, though he tried to act fine in front of his companion.

The two of them had finally arrived at the next station. They were anticipating to see a huge castle a midst the huge mountain ranges. Seeing it from afar Cadis' heart raced for anticipation, it was really so huge though it's still so far and was just a tiny speck from their location. "Want to go there?" He turned to Xirre who had also the same astonished reaction as him.

At the castle his eyes widened...it was really big, though from their distance it looked really small. He glanced to the other as he asked him a question, he nodded before facing toward the castle. "Hm... Cadis....is the castle you live in that big?" he asked the other once again glancing at him. It had to be, right? If he was the Duke's pet he had to live in nothing less than what was ahead.

Walking once again forward he smiled and listened to the other pet as he answered his question. There was much more that the brunette wanted to know about the blond. Cadis seemed to hold many secrets and he wished to know them. Such a mysterious person usually got reactions like that right, albeit he wouldn't bother the other with his curiosity until they were really close friends.

Slowly following the path Xirre pulled his coat closer to him and thought of Luim. He wondered if he should go back? Surely his later master knew that he couldn't survive on his own. The man just had to know...it was all cruel. Should he even waste his time and go back to the other? The brunette knew he couldn't have the other pet to take care of him but he would find a job and live on his own. Xirre wasn't sure if he should be with a master as evil as Luim.

"Duke Ashenberts'? Well sort of. The difference was just in the inside and this castle in front of us is more of a medieval type." Cadis glanced at Xirre and felt his ears tingle as he saw Xirre looking so happy listening at him.

"Ashenberts' mansion had passed down, generations to generations-- it's as old as the greatest grandmother of your grandmother--or something like that---" The male then grabbed the Neko beside him since he looked so confused at his weird explanation. Cadis wasn't the type who can explain things inside his head that easily.

"Let's go have a tour inside--" The male was once excited for his once in a life time short freedom. Though he felt it was all a tragedy in the first, Cadis did try to find the brighter side out of it. After all, he's bound to win the tournament as he'd tried to gain something with regard to his optimist side. It's just a month of tournament and then he'll see his master again. He shouldn't act so childish about it.

The male then grabbed Xirre, "so where's your master, Xirre?" He tried to ask casually, it's unbelievable since the words escape from his mouth easily.

At the question about his master the brunette frowned. He wished that he didn't have to talk of Luim at the moment, but for the blond he really wouldn't mind. At this point Cadis had deserved a free pass to any question. "Um...he's at ....home." he said shortly, did he really want the other to know that his owner had abandoned him? Left him for dead in the cold noisy city.

"He....sort of left me until I have an handwritten acceptance of forgiveness from the Duke." the truth was what the other recieved. Now he would maybe take him to his master soon, but the dark haired male still didn't know whether he would want to go back to Luim. "May I ask....why aren't you with the Duke?" why wasn't the famed pet with his master? He was basically royalty, wasn't it dangerous for the male to be out by himself?

Trailing into the castle his eyes widened. Xirre was always one for strange arts or crafting. The inside of the castle was simply interesting. Many Greek mythology was hanging or lying around. This really felt like they had warped into the past where it was said all this took place. Xirre wondered how it would be to fight a dragon...with Cadis as one of the troops as well. That sounded fun but the cat knew he wasn't a good fighter. He would only slow the others down and cause trouble.

"What?" It's embedded from Xirre's face that everything that he'd stated earlier was simply the truth. Even from where he was standing as of the moment, he could see Xirre's lonely eyes. He thought that they were just planning to have a meeting at a certain point.

Aside from that , he wanted the Duke's letter. That won't be easy as Cadis thought, he knew how prideful his master was to the extent of not giving forgiveness and even paying them double for what he'd experienced; it's like a mission impossible. His master is a person to be feared at especially when he's starting to grudge someone. And what about himself? Now that he'd already arrived at this 'where's your master ' topic...

"My master had also left me here but I' guess it's wee-bit fine." He pulled a smile just not to burden Xirre with such concerns.

The cat had felt a prickly feeling for a moment but was all washed away when he saw Xirre enjoying his surroundings. He'd better thank the castle for lifting their spirits despite their gloomy conversation. In the end, Cadis just couldn't help thinking about Xirre's condition. He'd better help him even if the male was the cause of all the mishaps. He just couldn't leave Xirre alone, now that he'd alread known something more important.

The brunette had to admit that he liked the other neko. He had this weird way of talking....or maybe it was weird to Xirre because he wasn't raised that way. The other had so much manner, it was possible that Cadis had learned that through the Duke of Luxor himself. The man was a male of his powers, it was only respected if the later acted with sense different than those of the city folk.

Glancing around the room the brunette admired the art. All so captivating in their own way. "Are we allowed to touch anything?" the dark haired cat asked wanting to run his hands across the gold armor of the knight in front of him. It looked heavy for sure. if he had to wear that in a battle he would mostly like die...though...even without the armor it would be the same results.

Looking over to the blond cat the pierced male wondered if Cadis was enjoying himself. The other never really showed much emotions. Xirre has noticed that about the other. Could it be that he wasn't really experienced in expressing his feelings? The neko knew of this because he himself was hard at expressing his, albeit....the famed pet was worse off than him. The brunette would show emotions but couldn't explain them...Cadis was the exact opposite he tend to tell one what he feels and not show it. "Are you not enjoying yourself?"

"I don't know about touching but it's better to keep our hands off from them. We might break them" As his eyes strayed at the huge monuments that Xirre also wanted to touch badly. "They looked expensive---" he added as he noted his observations in his head. His tail underneath the cashmere coat wagged a bit, he himself wanted to touch them but tried not to do so.

Huh? Did Xirre asked him if he was enjoying it? Of course he was.

Wait, his palms slowly crept at his face. Did he looked so tensed? Indeed he was, as he caught his own reflection at a golden vase.

Indeed his inner thoughts were completely different from his outer expression. He'd now noticed that it's most likely hard to express himself in this manner, without talking. He could cast someone into an ice just looking like that. Cadis noticed that his appearance was purely intimidating.

"I'm enjoying." He shortly replied but tried to speak unnecessary comments.

Xirre said nothing and just decided to stare to the blond a while longer before giving a small smile and looking back to the medieval art that was occupying the room. It was so enjoyable for the other to actually take him to a place where be could enjoy himself. The pierced cat was very thankful for Cadis in many ways than one. That the chances of such a nice person had come to help him was slim, yet it was done. Xirre would actually be observed as silly it he didn't thank the blond in any kind of way.

"Well, even if we can't touch it....I chose to anyways." The older confessed as he reached a finger forward to rub it against the smooth armor of the knights. It was now one of his favorite things to feel, if that was even possible. Quickly pulling his hand away, Xirre turned to avert his attention back to the smaller male and smiled lightly.

"I sure hope you're enjoying yourself. I wouldn't want to be the only one having a good time while you stand and sulk all day." The brunette teased, deciding to take a playful approach at the other male. Maybe Cadis would like it or take it too seriously. Which ever way the blond took it, Xirre would learn more about the other.

"W-wai hey---" he tried to stop the eye-patched Xirre from touching but it was too late. And seeing that there's no harm done, Cadis slowly patted the armor too. He glanced sideways, looking stressed, trying to find out if someone had caught him in the act. He then added another rub to the helmet and sighed. He really should control the urge to touch. Felt a bit remorse from what he's doing, the both of them find it comical and laughed casually.

"I'm enjoying---I am, thank you." He glanced to Xirre and accidentally showed his real smile. Noticed as he'd unconsciously done that he averted the latter's gaze. "Sorry if that crept you out, let's go." He covered his face as he turned around. The flustered Cadis tried to occupy himself from other things. HE didn't know that he was more or less sensitive. And wait--did he just, for a moment, forgot his master's existence? As he soon realized, he stopped for a moment and glanced back to Xirre.

--He really is something...

Xirre was staring to the taller male as he turned to glance at him. The other was flushed slightly and it made the pierced Neko let a laugh escape his lips. The other was really that embarrassed about showing his smile? Well, to the brunette at least, the smile was quite beautiful. To be completely honest, even though the older male denied it, the blond was attractive. Really attractive.

Xirre followed after the other as the two left the building. It was getting pretty late possible. A tournament was tomorrow and the two of them would most likely be joining. "You do plan on going to the tournament tomorrow right? I'm a little nervous. You seem like a worthy opponent" The brunette voiced, looking to the taller male.

Now that Xirre mentioned it, Cadis had even forgotten about the said tournament. He paused walking and looked at Xirre. Seeing the other, he really didn't want him to be his enemy. Had he hope if there's a tag team match or something of that sort but that won't obviously be happening. It's like a competition much more close to a gladiator's match. Luckily, it's still the preliminaries and not the finals were you can slash and kill the other Neko. Indeed it was bloody and terrifying.

"Let's do our best then," Cadis with a wry smile grabbed Xirre's hands and forced a handshake. He really was nervous, he'd wished there won't be a time were the both of them would be fighting at the same stage arena. But he couldn't lose, he wanted to see his master badly.

By all means, he must WIN. But the Neko felt something strange constricting inside his chest.

Xirre smiled to the other and gave a small laugh. Cadis was amusing even if it was not intentionally. The brunette could tell that the other had forgotten about the tournaments already, he just hoped it wasn't too nerve wrecking. The logic round wasn't all that bad, it was just the one afterwards. Like said many times before, Xirre was not a fighter. The blond on the other hand looked most intimidating, and he didn't want to have to fight the other. Though, the older Neko had heard of a rumor for the fighting rounds. All was mandatory and had to be entered. All who didn't enter would be punished and most certainly beat. So either way, as the pierced cat thought, there would be assault. Except, in the tournament one could at least defend themselves.

"I'm not to eager for the tournament after tomorrow. I wonder have you heard of them. Killing one another off is basically what we'll be doing; but that causes for all those who both win or lose. It's completely mandatory and used for entertainment to the humans. I personally see nothing amusing about killing someone. What do you think on the matter?" Xirre asked, staring to the other with a curious look.

The air was a still so cold, and the brunette was once again thankful for the coat that Cadis had bought him. "I thank you once again. For everything." He admitted, smiling to the other. The tall male was so attractive, but it wasn't something that Xirre had thought of when seeing the other at first. All that really mattered was the other forgiving him for the stunt he had caused at the tournament. It was true that the piercing eyes one was being extremely nice to him, but it didn't mean that Cadis had forgotten. The dark haired neko promised not to do something so embarrassing ever again.

"Killing?--of course not---" Cadis immediately replied to Xirre's statement. The blonde stared at the floor with his fist tightly clenched behind his cashmere coat. He shouldn't let his mind wander into the deepest abyss of his thoughts.

--for master's sake--- It was all what he wanted to think, but then again an image of Xirre appeared inside his head.

"I'll wait for you outside..." He excused himself and immediately left the scene. The two ideals were crushing to the point where he couldn't decide anymore. If he wanted to be with his master again, he should defeat Xirre. But if he wanted to stay friends with the eye-patch neko, then he's willing to be thrown away by his master.

--Cadis, sort things out and calm down. There's still a way... He tugged his hands back to the pocket, teeth barely gritting. The eye-patch neko did even thanked him though he didn't really have done something that much. It was wretched for Cadis to know that his first friend happened to be his enemy in the future. It was inevitable, he had no choice but to put distance between them. It'll be dangerous if he'll get involved more and deepen their friendship...

Xirre reached out a hand to grab onto the other, but missed by an inch. Cadis was now gone from his sight and the brunette was a little upset. He had triggered something in the other, and now regretted it. Maybe the thoughts of killing someone was a little too much for the blond to handle at the moment, although the other would have found out sooner or later. The pierced neko just thought it would be better if sooner. He wouldn't want Cadis to be hurt and possible killed in a tournament because the other wasn't sure as to what was going on.

Well, I was exactly the same as he. Having to find out something so cruel for ones of my species was terrifying. We can talk, think as well as eat just as human could. Most of us are possible more intelligent than the human ... so why are we treated as dirt? We have absolutely no rights and I think it's all bullshit. Relying on our masters...it's all a form of power. Why hadn't I thought of such things sooner? I don't need Liam...I'll just stick with Cadis and find myself a job. Xirre said to himself..

Taking a step to the direction the blond had went, the cat stopped in thought. He wondered did Cadis actually need his space. The last thing Xirre wanted was to piss the other off and have him leave. The brunette decided that leaving the other for a while was a good choice. He would just observe a little more art.

Thank you Gin

The blonde immediately sat on the bench in front of a huge fountain which was part of the tourist attraction. He didn't want to trouble Xirre by the fleeting thoughts that were inside his head. All he could do was move away and sort things out, the sooner the better. His palms covered his face, he really was at his wits end.

"Zei." A familiar baritone voice, called his unusual nickname. It's been long since he heard that name. The Neko suddenly removed his palms and immediately shoot his gaze to the person calling him. It was his master, Richards. "M-master, what are you doing in here!?" Like he'd seen a ghost, Cadis immediately went to his master which was standing neatly behind the shade of a tree.

"I did say that I won't watch your matches but that doesn't mean I won't see you sometimes. " As Richards immediately cuddled his huge pet. He was really delighted but he'd doubt that this happiness would last. Though he remained so poker face, Richards already knew he was happy, judging by the fact that Cadis almost purred upon his master's caresses. "I'll be going then, I was just passing here for some business. Good luck and win." Before bidding farewell Richards claimed Cadis' lips behind the dark shade of the tree. Cadis almost flinched as he started to grew calmer.

--he's really here... as he felt the warm lips of his master once more. Had he forgotten someone in the long run? It's almost his problems were washed in an instant.
