Teesie
The brunette watched the pass between Cadis and his master from afar. It surprised the brunette because he had never seen a owner kiss his pet. There must have been something more between the two or else it was just weird. Xirre took a step back as Richards left to enter his vehicle. The man would be soon gone and the other would actually feel safe with coming out. Because the other was so masculine, the dyed haired cat wasn't sure what the Duke would do to him if he had gotten a sight of him. The pierced Neko did not wish to be snapped in half. The art had suddenly gotten so boring without the piercing eyed male. It was pretty sad that the brunette was now attached to having Cadis around; if not there, the one eyed cat wouldn't enjoy himself. The time was right to approach the other now, or at least he hoped so. There was no way that Xirre would bring up the situation between the master and famed pet. Maybe Cadis would get upset and leave him behind. "Um...are you feeling better? I don't wish to have invaded your space if you need time to think." He whispered, taking a few steps closer to the mysterious, tall male. "Well...if not, where should we go?"
gin
"Nah I'm fine--- " As he closely watched the car moving away and then disappeared to the horizon. He really didn't want his master leaving but it was inevitable since he had lots of work to do. He was his secretary before he joined the contest, Cadis wondered if the new secretary could handle the jobs. He then noticed Xirre waiting for him, anticipating for his response. --When did he arrive? He surely didn't even noticed Xirre arriving earlier. He was fine, at least he saw his master and that would just suffice. "Let's go for a lunch then--" He suggested as he searched his eye to a possible restaurant. "Are you ok?" Cadis lowered his head a bit and placed his palm atop Xirre's forehead. Cadis didn't felt that the eye-patch neko had a fever, it maybe was the weather. Cadis slowly tugged Xirre's coat properly, "it's cold so do this tighter." The male buttoned the upper part of the coat.
Teesie
Xirre stated to the blond as he fixed the coat for him. It seems as if the other was actually worried about whether he caught a cold or not. It was nice of the other to be honest, and the brunette was thankful. "Um, thank you." The pierced neko voiced as slightly pulled away from Cadis. The older cat was getting slight flustered over someone that seemed yet so much more mature than he. Even the small touch to his forehead sent a jolt through his body. Cadis was so fancy and different, though it was not much of a surprise since the other belonged to the Duke of Luxor. "A restaurant? Well, that sounds good. I am in need of a good meal." Though, even when he felt in need of something, Xirre was considered a free loader. He felt absolutely terrible that his whole life depended on Cadis now. The blond was sort of like his life line and the feeling never got better when he knew the other had to pay for everything on his own. "Whenever I invest in some money...I promise to pay you back. I don't care if it is when I am ninety." He informed, giving the other a weak smile. Even though that was a promise, it didn't help with the feeling of uselessness. gin
"Let's try that restaurant," his hands pointed at the establishment on their sharp left. Cadis might looks so high-spirited as he walked towards the restaurant. Though it might not be obvious on his facial expressions; one can immediately tell that the blond Neko was in good mood. Just the thought that his master visited him despite his busy schedules made Cadis happy for a bit. "You don't need to pay." He glanced back at the eye-patched Neko. It was his master's money in the first place. Boasting aside, that money that they've spent was insignificant. In fact, if they've spent for an entire year for daily expenses, it wouldn't make a loss for his master's assets. Either of the reasons, Cadis wished that Xirre won't think of it as a necessity for him to pay. Cadis immediately ushered Xirre inside; both male pushed themselves inside the crowded place. "You can order first, I'll just reserve us some seats," Cadis glanced at the crowded place and located a vacant table. He handed the card to Xirre and removed his coat. Teesie
Xirre watched after the blond as he was handed the card to order food first. It would be immensely embarrassing to have Cadis know that there was no way of the brunette knowing how to use the card. The pierced neko glanced to the cashier and the menu above before back to the floor. There was nothing much to it, the older cat was just making it more difficult for himself. He had seen the other do it so many times. Swipe, swipe. Ah, come one Xirre. There is no way that I'm going to embarrass myself in front of Cadis. Not only that, but there are millions of more citizens here. Not precisely, but still. He'd be ashamed of me and would probably le- no, no...I'm being stupid. Take a deep breath and do as he does. All you have to do is swipe. After the inner rumble with himself, the brunette noticed that it was his turn to order a meal. The necessary steps were taken to stand in front of the cashier. The neko searched the menu and saw that the pasta plate looked delicious, but as always he'd pick fish. "Um, I would like to order the deeply fried fish please and possible a plate of steamed vegetables." Xirre said aloud, taking a peek at the blond before his price was given. Listening to the handsome man at the counter, the smaller cat, compared to the worker, took a brief look at the card in hand. What made him feel much better was when the other reached for it. Xirre handed it over, analyzing as the man swiped the card to once again hand it over to him again. A smile broke through his guard as he thanked the other and nodded. Moments passed before the eye-patched male was given his meal. Another thanks was given before he walked to the table that Cadis was at. "Thank you again." He voiced, handing out the card for the other to take. He'd wait on the blond before eating his own meal.
gin
"..." Cadis just smiled at the Neko who was still standing in front of their table. He immediately stood and helped Xirre placing the plates to the table. The male did just appreciate the food as how Xirre had appreciated it also. Though he stared at Xirre when he was at the counter, Cadis even planned helping him since he looked so stiff earlier. But he guessed Xirre wouldn't learn with him always helping so he decided to leave him as it is. His thin golden locks slid at his nose as he lowered his head to eat the food. He didn't initiated a talk since he was really famished and talking while eating was bad manners in the first place. Cadis then averted his gaze at the view outside the restaurant. This lifestyle was completely different than before but it wasn't that bad. He enjoyed Xirre's presence and his hyped attitude. Though he knew the patched Neko was older than him, Cadis just couldn't erase from his head that Xirre was so childish and he's cute like that. He then glanced back at Xirre who was really enjoying the meal. He was so engrossed on eating that he didn't realized Cadis was staring at him. Teesie
To say that Xirre loved fish was an understatement. The neko was basically obsessed with necessities of this certain food. It was always a meal that the older cat wished he could of made on his own, but actually thinking of his life, the brunette knew that was almost near impossible. Since the leaving of his master, the pierced male could see how pathetic he was. On the other hand, Cadis was ready for a lifestyle as so if the Duke was to never permanently take the other back. The reality just made Xirre realized that he was basically useless. A complete waste of space. Being pampered for so long had turned him into a worthless man who could do nothing for himself. Only the aspects of begging was a skill he had down pack. Then, that wasn't done with pride, it was always guilt that arrived afterwards. It was true that he enjoyed the blond's company, although it was what the other thought that scared him. The brunette didn't know if Cadis thought the same, and asking would just be too nerve wrecking. That was why the eye-patched neko wish he could repay the other. From all the thoughts running through his head, Xirre had halted with devouring his food. The reasoning was actually getting to him and he was left confused as to what to think. Cadis was smart, rich and dominating. The older male was nothing compared to that. The two was quite polar opposite and it was sickening to know how useless he was. Letting out a sigh, the pierced neko began to eat again.
gin
"What's wrong?" Cadis also paused as he noticed Xirre staring at an empty space. He was most likely thinking of something as of the moment. Though Cadis had not known what's inside of the other Neko's head; he's certain that Xirre was somewhat thinking of some negative aspects in his life or something of that sort. The eye-patched neko's face drew an obvious pout with a fuse of sour face. The blonde even stared at the food. In fact, it was overly edible--it was completely delicious. So the food was out of the option for what the male was thinking. He was afraid to ask what's the main problem but Cadis was pushed by his courage and curiosity to ask. What's the use of their days of spending if they aren't open with each other's problems a bit? He should act like a companion since they'll be sticking together for a bit longer. "You can confide with me if something's troubling you. " As he shove a fillet inside his mouth. The food was really good.
Teesie
The brunette glanced up to the powerful-like neko and let off a smile. It was once again solved just by a simple question from the other. Cadis voice was dreamful, it always managed to throw Xirre in a trance. That could be an advantage and disadvantage on the pierced-neko part. It was true that the dark-haired male could confined in the other, but it never meant he wanted to. The source of his worries had been talked about on numerous occasions, and he didn't wish to worry the blond with the same problems engaging a battle in his head. A shake of the head was given as he reached for a fillet in his plate. "It's nothing," Xirre began, trying to rid the thoughts from his head. "I'm completely fine to be honest." Staring into the piercing blue eyes, that had went back to normal. It was strange that the other's eyes changed every once in a while, and it was an enigma to the brunette. The older male wanted to ask the cause, albeit he wasn't sure if the other would be offended or not. He guess that be could wait until the two of them were more comfortable with one another. gin
It was something out of Cadis' powers. Even the eye-patched neko had stopped him from prying within the other's pleas. The word nothing had immediately put a stop at his worries. It was something that Xirre didn't want to say nor share to him. At least he'd respect the latter's decision. "Glad you didn't have one." A forceful smile was then placed in a display. Cadis tried his best not to over-think about Xirre's reply. The blond just focused on his food as he tried to eat everything. No words left from his mouth anymore. He shouldn't be so curious enough to ask some private matters to the other. The male just diverted his gaze outside the crowded restaurant. He was trying to put his mind at ease trying not to give malice at Xirre's response. --I've never been a worrywart nor did I imagine becoming one-- he blankly stared at the people passing outside. Teesie
Cadis was seriously the first person that Xiree had made acquaintance with outside of his boss. The brunette liked to think of the taller blond as a friend, although didn't know of the other felt the same. The dark haired male was worried about tomorrow as well, he didn't know how Cadis would react if he was to lose. Some pets could be quite unruly. With Cadis having such a higher status, there was no knowledge of how he could retaliate. Unknown to the both of them, a special someone was appearing at the tournaments, having the rules change dramatically. Taking yet another bite of the food, Xirre smiled to the blond. It soon dropped at the thought of the Duke visiting the other. The older man couldn't say he was that curious of the matter, but he knew for sure there was a hint of jealousy. Envying the other wasn't a priority that he wished to have, albeit it came full force everytime the Duke was visioned in his mind. "So, um...you've had any contact with your....master since the tournament?" Which was still a sore spot for the brunette. If it wasn't for him, the tall, mysterious, blond would still be with his master. It did, however, make the pierced-Neko feel better that Cadis didn't seem to be holding it against him any longer. gin
"So, um...you've had any contact with your....master since the tournament?" The sudden question made him stop his movements as he placed the utensils back at the table. The slight recollection of his master's deep kiss towards him made him quite flustered in some weird sense. He didn't like Xirre looking at his sudden expression though he did try his best to hide it but failed to do so. How would Xirre react if Cadis was to say that he was gay? He really hoped his new friend won't be disgusted by that. "Yes, earlier before we enter the shop." He curtly replied which he hoped it wouldn't be weird to sound like that. He didn't want to lie to Xirre but he really hated his honesty in some weird sense. It's as if his frustration of going back to his master's side had made him more lethargic. The topic really made him remember his dearest master and his--lover. Though he didn't showed his reaction as to where the topic would be going, Cadis then continued eating his meal. The blond didn't also like the idea of returning the question back; like how Xirre's master was.
Teesie
Xirre head nodded, already knowing the answer to the question. The flustered expression playing across the other's face hadn't gone unnoticed though. A kiss was involved between Cadis and the Duke, so that much was expected; although, the pierced Neko wondered why the blond didn't share that information with him. --As if he'd share a completely personal moment with me. Gods. The brunette decided to drop the conversation at that point, not able to get the images of the taller male out his head. Cadis was sinfully attracted, and even more so when blushing. What Xirre could feel welling inside him was jealousy. Envious of the very man that took the blond under his home. The very man that uplifted Cadis' spirits when needed. Dark eyes shifted from the plate of food, a high emotion of resent engraved in them. This was the last trait that Xirre wanted to show the one in front of him. Maybe being with Cadis at all times wasn't such a good idea.
gin
Still in cloud nine, Cadis slowly placed a mouthful of food as he slowly reminisce his moments with his master earlier. He had admitted that his heart did flatter on a second but he didn't want to show it to his master. The male started to play the 'emotionless slash stoic person' in front of his master; there's no way he can get all that chummy when he saw his owner accidentally. It would probably disappoint his dear master. Later then, he didn't knew that his reaction was seeping from the thick mask that he was putting as of the moment; letting Xirre see a piece of his emotions... Caught by the act, Cadis tried to cover his actions by clearing his throat. Amber eyes then darted at Xirre, looking at the eye-patch neko if he was still eating the sumptuous meal. Xirre gave him an immediate remark to worry as he saw the latter's face covered with unknown anxiousness. Cadis then thought that the cause was Xirre's abrupt separation from his master. He did really hope he can cheer Xirre up. "Are you okay?" He slightly tilted his head, awaiting for whatever response Xirre's gonna make.
