"Where do we have to go? Do we leave here or stay here until your friend cracks the code?"

Erin looked up at the other and, sighed, he didn't know what to do himself. It was obvious Arish didn't like it here...but he didn't know where else to go. "We need to eat first, then ask one of the other members if they have any day clothes that will fit you, and then go see Abel and Ruu about how your wings are doin'. I'll make a few calls after that and see if I can find anywhere more comfortable...," The half-demon explained, stifling a yawn. Jackal B. glanced at the clock on the wall out of the corner of his eye, it was surprisingly 8 in the morning, and he had no idea when they even went to sleep last night. Eight, or maybe nine, he guessed. No wonder they were up so early. The only ones up right now might be Kay, and maybe Abel, if he didn't have a long night last night. Ruu was rarely up very early, but if the medical bay was busy he might be. The demon then noticed something sitting on the dresser.

"Hmm?" he hummed sitting up as much as he could in his boyfriend's grasp, and blinked in confusion. He sniffed the air slightly, and was hit with the smell of food, and his stomach growled. So someone, probably Ruu, came by last night and left them food, with a small spell placed on it to keep it warm and to keep it from spoiling. The brunette smiled slightly, at least some of the members would appreciate giving them a little privacy to relax. Erin didn't quite feel like sitting at a table with Kay and Arish ready to face off over eating breakfast. The tension in the room would be horrible.

The dark haired angel only stared to the small petit who was still encircled in his arm, albeit when the ex hunter felt the man sit up as much as he can, he unwrapped his arms from the other's stomach.. His grip had been pretty tight so he knew why the smaller male could hardly sit up.

Coal eyes looking around the room they spotted a platter of food setting on the end table. So it seems as if someone had cooked them a small breakfast and had given them their own privacy, but....if the plate was inside of the room then someone must have came in to see the two of them snuggling together, that was embarrassing.

I'll make a few calls after that and see if I can find anywhere more comfortable...,"
The angel glanced back to the strange individual once he stated that. Frowning slightly he noticed that he would be putting more strain on the one that he loved. "No, it's no big deal we can stay here. I don't really mind." Smiling slightly to Erin showing that he really didn't mind. "Now go and bring the breakfast."

"No, it's no big deal we can stay here. I don't really mind."

Erin couldn't help but let out a small sigh of relief, the only other place safer than staying with the Freelancers was to stay with the Triad. Jackal B. was not on very good terms with their wild, knife obsessed member, Damon. That guy was terrifying.

"Now go and bring the breakfast."

"Lazy," The conman teased before crawling over his lover to get out of bed. He padded over the cold floor, slightly upset with himself for not wearing socks; now he had cold feet. He picked up the two plates, which had a generous amout of scrabled eggs, sausage, and two biscuit with jam on each. Damn, he loved that Ruu liked to give large portions, he was starving.

Erin sat down on the edge of the bed, and handed Arish his plate before digging into his own. He was practically shoving it in with his fork. Who could blame him, the last time he ate was yesterday, and that was only some toast.

The dark haired male laughed when the brunette called him lazy but still sat upon the bed as the other walked across the room to retrieve their plates. The male was more than hungry, he was starving. To be honest he could remember the last time he ate. The last three day had possible been without a meal, the half angel really needed to take better care of himself.

Grabbing the plate as the other set it into his lap Arian dug into the eggs and began to gobble up his food. The coal eyed male never really ate so sloppily but who could blame him after such a while without food. "So I think after we eat I get my check up?" Turning to Jackal B. for the answer but covering his mouth as he began to talk not wanting to show his chewed food.

The dark haired male just wished that he wouldn't have to feel so nervous...no scared to lose his wings. This shouldn't have happened in the first place.

"So I think after we eat I get my check up?"

"Yeah," Erin replied, swallowing down a bit of his biscuit. He really didn't care if he talked with his mouth full anymore, he used to when he lived back him the Human Zone. Jackal B. really didn't care what people thought of him. Swallowing another bite of bite of food he noticed his boyfriend's nervousness, no fear about the check up.

"Love," He began gently, minding not to talk with his mouth full this time, "I'm sure your wings will be fine. Abel and Ruu will do all they can. I'm confidant that you'll be fine." He smiled softly at the half-angel, settling with placing a hand on the dark haired man's knee, since Arish's hands were occupied with food. Truthfully Erin had seen what was under the bandages, an it was not very pretty...but there had to be hope, right? Arish would be fine.

The half angel only nodded before losing his appetit. Placing the rest of the breakfast, which consisted of two biscuit, medium portion of eggs, and two sausages, the dark haired male lowered his head. He never was any good with luck, it was always Erin who were. Maybe this was the saviors's way of showing him that he was a bad person.

"I sure hope so." Looking to Jackal B. with saddened eyes, "I don't want to be a fallen Erin." tears gathering to cloud the coal orbs. Looking away quickly he wiped the stray liquid away, he refused to be weak and cry...he was a grown man and it would be weakening to his manhood. There was no way that he was willing to sob like a little girl.

Erin put down his food and crawled up beside Arish. He pulled the other into a tight hug, stroking the other's hair soothingly, much like what the angel had done for him the night before. He pressed his lips to his lover's temple and held him close. "It's all right to cry, Arish. Don't be a dumb ass like me and just keep holding them in, it's not good for you," The half-demon whispered soothingly, "It's okay to be afraid...nobody's going to judge you, love." He pulled away and cupped the dark haired male's face in his hands, wiping a stray tear with his thumb, and made coal eyes meet cat-like green.

"It's just you and me in here, you can let it out, Arish," Erin kissed the other softly, and then broke the kiss, pressing their foreheads together. He hoped his words had gotten threw to his sometimes thick headed boyfriend.

Arish Lefunt finally let some tears slip pass the barrier of his eyes as his boyfriend placed their foreheads together after such a soft chaste kiss. Slowly wrapping his muscular-like arms around the smaller teen the half angel held him close looking into the different, but still beautiful cat-like green eyes.

"I love my wings babe~ I'm have so much agility with them. If not for them I'd be dead...I hate that I used them to shield my face when that bastard struck at me." Looking into the other's eyes. He was glad that his boyfriend was comforting him. Erin was so special to him. Without the male Arish didn't know what he would have been. It was because of the strange guy that he had become an hunted, though neither knew that it was what it was now.

Erin pressed another soft kiss the the taller man's lips as he felt arms wrap around his waist. "I know, love, I know...," The brunette said softly, as he, a bit awkwardly because of their height difference, lifted his boyfriend onto his lap. Erin remembered that when they were going out before, that Arish always used this position to comfort the half demon so Jackal B. thought it might comfort Arish.

The green eyed demon rubbed the man's lower back, being careful of the badaged wings. Erin held him closer, pressing soft kisses to Arish's cheeks and lip in an attempt of comfort.

The dark haired teen laughed softly at the half demonic being and shook his head softly. "No babe~ this isn't how it should be." Quickly climbing out of the other lap to place the smaller teen in his. "Now it doesn't feel so strange." Kissing he brunette's soft lips, slightly nibbling on the pink flesh.

"I'm just ready to get this over with, I hope that I can keep my wings. Without them I just won't be....Arish Lefunt." His bottom lip being sucked into his mouth as he bit on it from nervouseness.

Stretching before placing his hands on the smaller waist of the body in his lap. "Now, where are they? Is it too early?" Coal eyes searching the green beautiful orbs in a curious way.

"I'm just ready to get this over with, I hope that I can keep my wings. Without them I just won't be....Arish Lefunt."

"You'll always be Arish Lefunt, no matter what," Jackal B. said, patting the other's cheek lightly. Climbing off of the other's lap after giving him one last kiss, Erin stood up and offered a hand. They'd go now, if Arish was ready. The brunette had to admit he wanted to get this over with too.

"It's not too early, I think. Abel should be up, and will probably wake up Ruu to come examine you too," The half-demon explained, "And if they're not up then we'll wait an other hour or two." Erin did hope they were up, though. The sooner they go this done the sooner they'd know the true condition of Arish's wings. It would be a straight up lie if the conman said he wasn't doubtful that they could be completely saved, but he had to keep a positive attitude to balance out the half-angel's pessimistic one. He was an optimist naturally, but also a bit of a realist, and his lover's wings were bad...but he had to have a bit of hope for his lover, because he seemed so fragile right now, emotionally rather than physically, though.

Arish took a deep breath before reaching out to grab the hand of his boyfriend's. The male was not very stable at the moment, he knew that his lover was showing him comfort, but was it bad not to want it? Every once in a while many people that needs comfort doesn't want any. That was the mood that the half angel was in, but he did his best to keep it down. He didn't wish to hurt his boyfriend in anyway, especially not if the other was just showing the love he had for him.

"I just can't wait any longer. I don't have all day to learn if my wings could be saved or not. If their not woke can't we just ask them? How patient do you think I am Erin?"

"And that is why we're going now, come one," Erin said, walking to the door, hand still in Arish's. The half-demon opened the door and brought his distressed boyfriend out into the hallway. The walk to the medical bay was spent in silence, and the brunette squeezing the angel's hand lightly to comfort the other. Once they reached the medical bay Erin pushed open the double doors and lead his lover inside.

Abel was a little startled but the full demon smiled softly at the duo, "Ah, good morning. I trust from what Ruu told me you both slept well," he chuckled. His young apprentice came to him claiming that hard to tie down Jackal B. had found love, and now Abel didn't find that too hard to believe. He could easily sense that the two cared for each other deeply. "Now," He looked at Arish, "take a seat on that examining table over there. I shall go get Ruu, and then examine we will examine your wings, and see how the rest of your wings are doing." He smiled kindly, trying not to make the young man more nervous than he obviously was. He then left the room to go fetch his apprentice and get his medical bag. He hoped that now that the bleeding surely stopped that he could make a clearer, more positive prognosis.

Arish watched the demonic man as he talked to him, he was trying his hardest not to wrinkle his nose to him. One bad thing about demon's to the male was that they had such a funny scent. With Jackal B. being partially human the scent wasn't nearly as strong, though....this male was much stronger than any he had ever seen. That was possible why his scent was so prominent.

Looking as the other left the room Arish wrinkled his nose before facing the direction of the smaller male in the room. "He seems really powerful. Was he a leader or something back in his days? More curiously.....how old is he?" Grabbing onto the other's waist and kissing his lips a little.

"He seems really powerful. Was he a leader or something back in his days? More curiously.....how old is he?"

Erin rubbed the back of his neck and thought for a second, "Um...around 300, maybe, after a certain point I think he stopped keeping track...he was from a high up family when Hell was still around, but didn't really fit in, if you catch my drift." The brunette wondered why his boyfriend wanted to know this, but chalked it up to curiosity. Abel was a little mysterious, especially with the way he talked, and his over all formalness with just about everything. Jackal B. didn't like to probe his friends about their pasts too much, though, so he never found out much else about the demon.

He had a feeling why Arish might be asking, though. It was probably the scent, being part demon it never bothered him, but it probably bothered the half-angel. He was sure that Arish probably haven't met a demon past 150, since not many demons over that age even went near the Human Zone, and were wise enough not to go roaming around killing people...at least people that would get the Hunters attention. Most demons he probably fought were young ones, since the ones around Abel's age were smart enough to stay out of the limelight.

Arish eyes widened as he heard the statement that the other had said. Was Jackal B. being serious or was he just bluffing. The hunters had never heard of a demon that old before. When in the Elite Hunter group the half angel was told that he was to kill all those who aged above two hundred. Well....demon's anyways. The Realm Officials said that the demonic being all went out of control when above that age, though then again when didn't they lie to him.

"I see, I've never seen a demon that old before. The Elite forces had said that demons were to go crazy around that age of time. Although I know no to believe it, it's all just lies." Smiling softly to the male in the room besides him. After a moment he sighed, Arish was still nervous about the examine. If he was to lose his wings he's be emotionally fucked.

Erin laughed a little, "Well, that's bull. How do they even know about that, no demon over 150 even goes near the Human Zone unless it's serious business. Most demons actually mature and mellow out past 200, you know, unless they're a bit nuts to begin with." The half-demon then noticed his boyfriends nervousness and cupped the other's cheek tenderly with a soft, encouraging smile. Then there was a soft giggle that made Jackal B. jump.

"Ruu, you sneaky bastard!" The brunette whined, blushing. He normally had really good hearing and was embarrassed he didn't sense the other coming. The Fallen laughed at his friend's expense as Abel walked into the room after his apprentice, medical supplies in hand.

The shortest male in the room smiled at the brunette apologetically, and then looked at Arish, a little nervous. "Hello, my name's Ruune Nimpe- I mean Ruu, just call me Ruu please," The young Fallen said, holding out his hand to shake to the older man. He felt like an idiot, Fallen didn't have a right to their surnames, but he was young and one could tell he hadn't been Fallen for many years.

Abel smiled at the pair and said, "Now, why don't you take a seat on the examining table and we'll take a look at those wings, yes?".

The dark haired ex Elite Hunter looked at the hand that was being held out to him. Arish looked away to Abel before slowly reaching out a hand to the fallen angel without giving the shorter male eye contact. The half angel didn't really know how he felt about the male named Ruune.

"Now, why don't you take a seat on the examining table and we'll take a look at those wings, yes?".
"Yes, I am ready for the examination." Standing slowly and walking to the examination table at even a slower paste than standing. Taking a deep breath the dark haired male sat upon the bed and looked to the floor. This was the most nervous that Arish had ever felt.

Erin stood beside his boyfriend as he sat on the the table, and took the angel's hand in his own, giving a quick squeeze. He settled on looking at Arish rather than observing the two healers work. He didn't want to see the mangled wings again.

Abel carefully cut away the bandages, handing them to Ruu, who stared at the half-angel's wings, feeling pity rise in his chest. They were bad. The demon carefully extended the right wing to it's full length, feeling a little relief at a slight wincing he felt from his patient. He could still feel the pain, this wing was not so damaged that it was paralyzed. He felt along the contours of the bones with skilled hands, and ran across a broken bone. Thankfully it was just a small fracture, and would heal quickly. There were some bald patches and slash marks, but those would heal in time. He let out a soft hum of approval, this wing would be fit to fly again. Ruu observed, passing his mentor a new role of bandages when asked, and watched as Abel folded and bandaged the wing again, though not at heavily as before. Both master and apprentice felt happy for their patient.

Then they extended the left wing which took heavier damage. There was no wincing, and the wing just hung limp, Ruu had to hold it up for Abel to examine. There were several bullet wounds, and some of the heaviest muscle damage Abel had seen in a long time. Several ligaments attaching the wing to the the back muscles were torn beyond repair, and a bone near the center of the wing was shattered; probably by one of the bullets. No amount of healing could save this wing, and it wound be dangerous for Arish's health to keep it on him. Ruu, being one of those more empathetic people, even shed a tear for the man he just met. He knew how much wings can mean to someone, especially someone of angel heritage. Abel let out a sad sigh, "I'm sorry young one...you left wing can not be saved."

Erin gripped his boyfriend's hand tighter, looking at the Arish, preparing for the other's reaction. "Now...this is your decision...would you like us to remove both wings, or just the one that is healthy. It is to dangerous for you to keep the damaged one on you; it could get a serious infection," Abel explained gently, placing a clawed hand on the half-angel's shoulder. He looked down at the man, sympathy written across his face.

Arish sat patiently in the examining chair waiting for both Abel and Ruu to get on with the testing. It was quite surprising how calm he was waiting, he had never in his life been known as a patient person. The reason for this rarely seen personality was because the half angel was scared. He was scared to hear that neither of his wings were good, he was scared to hear that at least wasn't wasn't good. With one wing it had to be another so there was a fifty-fifty chance that be would ever fly again. Who had ever heard of anything different.

Once he felt a touch to his right wing he closed his eyes, wishing and hoping in his mind that the white wings had recovered. Arish knew that he couldn't feel them at the moment, they both were numb. Although, when Abel began to stretch it all the blood began to flow rapidly into it causing him to wince, then again a sharp pain shot through his back from the damaged wing to be stretch to it's full length. After moments of anticipation he heard a small hum of approval, his heart leaped. That one was defiantly well to fly.

Smiling hugely to his boyfriend because of the unspoken good new the dark haired half angel pulled Jackal B. closer staring into the green eyes. Due to not having a feeling in his left wing Arish paid no attention to it, he didn't know. Though as soon as his happiness came, it crashed. A small glance back the ex Elite Hunter could see that Ruu had to hold his wing up, that his wing was as limp as noodles.

Tears began to cloud his eyes but be waited for the new. Just because it had no feeling didn't mean it couldn't recover. It was, however, the most damaged one. Sighing slightly the coal eyes stared before the tears began to fall like a river at the next statement.

"I'm sorry young one...you left wing can not be saved."
Arish could feel Erin grip his hand tightly but he shook his head and snatched away. Abel was talking about cutting one wing off or them both. Firstly, who ever had that choice? If a wing was damaged beyond repair both had to be cut. Secondly, it was a stupid question because Arish Lefunt refused to have both his wings cut. Though....infection...?

"No! I won't get neither cut I refuse to. It'll heal I know it will! It won't take long." Looking desperate and steering the coal orbs toward Erin. "You have to believe me babe." Breathing deeply, it was all to emotional but he couldn't help it. The male loved his wings.

Erin looked into his boyfriend's tear filled eyes, and felt tears prick in his own. "Arish," The half-demon began softly, taking both of the other's hands in his own, "Please, listen to them...please think about your health. You getting sick is not worth it, and you can get really sick from this."

"Yes, there is not other option, that wing can not stay on you. It doesn't matter if you have a healing ability, the bone is shattered, and ligaments torn. No amount of healing magic, or medical practice can heal an injury like this," Abel explained, voice firmer and stronger than it has been. He was not the type of person to put any life at risk. He valued every life, he had seen way to much death and illness, and was not about to add another to the list. With one silent, well practiced hand signal the demon told Ruu to go an prep a room for surgery. The Fallen chewed his lip nervously, but nodded, and left the room.

"Please stop being so stubborn and listen to him, love...he knows what he's talking about," The conman pleaded, looking into the other's coal eyes with his own cat-like ones.

Arish pulled away from Erin and glared to him and Abel both. "Then I'll find someone. You can just shut up it's not true. Is there something I can take for the infection? I refuse to have my wings just taken." Looking at the full fledged demon before shaking his head.

"Tell me dammit! Is there?" Now baring his teeth. The half angel didn't care what the three said, he was not about to become some fallen freaked loser. An abomination to the angel race. It would strip him of his pride, his status. "I won't do it....forget about it." Walking to the door and opening it.

The dark haired male had walked out slowly, strolling about the building. Arish didn't know where he was going but he just wanted to get away from that room. That demonic being didn't know what he was talking about.

Abel gritted his teeth, foolish child was going to get himself killed. He looked over to the younger demon when he head soft sniffling, the halfling was crying. That was not something he'd seen him do since Alex's funeral. He placed a hand on his shoulder, and pulled the younger into a small hug, rubbing his back soothingly. After a few minutes Erin pulled back, whiping tear from his eyes. "Thanks Abe...I'm going to go find him," Jackal B. said before running out the door after his boyfriend. Abel nodded, and sat down in a near by chair, and massaged his temples. This was some of the most stress he had in a long time.

Kay yawn and stretched as she walked around her base, nursing a cup of steaming coffee. She really didn't expect to see that Angel boy wondering around, not with out Jackal B. at least. She arched an eyebrow at him, "Hey kid, whatcha doing around these parts by yourself. Isn't our resident conman supposed to be with you?" She eyed the limp wing and frowned, must have something to do with that.

Arish looked up to the women with a glare before turning away and hiding his limp wing from view as he noticed her eyes on it. He went to nurture it as he began to talk. "I don't need you or anyone else to look after me, especially that demonic being of yours." He sneered talking about Erin, but once those word left his mouth he felt a pang of guilt. Eyes well the regretful emotions, the ex hunter glanced up to Kay and glared. "Just tell me to the exit, I'm leaving."

Arish had had enough of this. The freelancer as well as Jackal B. had given him enough stress. If it wasn't for that demonic male then his wings wouldn't be damaged now. All that information on things he had no business researching...this was all his fault, right? Though no matter what he couldn't bring it in his heart that the small brunette was the reason for any of this.

"Wow, kid, you better hope B. doesn't hear you being such an ass, you'll make him drink himself silly with the amount he seems to care for your pompous ass, and your opinion on him," She retorted, glaring right back. She had never really ever seen the conman care about someone in a romantic sense before. Kid only had one night stands because he was afraid of people hurting him. "Though, I'm not sure why he does...ironically you seem like the most prideful little angel I've ever met. Can't see past your own ego, can you?" Kay didn't give two shits on whether she hurt the man's feelings or not, sometimes you needed to be brutal to get threw to someone. She took a sip of her coffee, waiting for the retort that she knew was coming. She wasn't quite a fan of those who blamed others completely for their problems, take some responsibility, and some comon sense for once, sheesh.

Erin wondered around the halls looking for his boyfriend. He felt horrible. He wished Arish never got involved, and had just killed him like he was supposed to. Then the angel wouldn't be going through all this bull shit. The brunette whiped his eyes again, he wouldn't deny that this, at least most of this, was his fault.
