"Finished." Yuki submitted the paper to the teacher. "All responses were well thought out and honestly expressed."

He looked at his two friends again. He couldn't wait to be like them, happily playing with their animals.

[Raven's Abyss]

"Good," Mr. Arrow took the test and sat down, reading through them carefully, taking some things into consideration and etc. The flame teenager was petting is falcon, resting in a desk, head down, arm wrapped around Scrye. And the vampire was in the same place and position with his little babe.

Yuki played with a string of ice he created, making icy bows around the chair he was sitting on. After a while, he had an elegantly decorated chair with bows, flowers, a fancy slipcover, and everything. It looked more like a throne than a chair at that point.

[Raven's Abyss]

Ater ten minutes or so, Arrow spoke up. "Alright... that step is done..." He whispered to himself, getting up and walked off into a locked, sealed door.

 

The flame teen lifted his head, eyes drowsy with sleep, falcon curled and nuzzled unto his chest, looking like a brown fluffy ball.

Yuki looked from his seat at the flame-haired boy. He looked so cute, so innocent, with his bird curled up against him. He couldn't help but reach out and caress the boy's cheek.

"You're so cute, Eros~" he whispered.

[Raven's Abyss]

"You're so cute, Eros~"

 

Eros felt a hand on his cheek and he smiled, half asleep, nuzzling into it with a purr like sound. Not truely cat, but not truely human either. The bird shuffled his wings lightly when his master moved, but otherwise stayed put

Yuki smiled much more fully when Eros nuzzled against his hand. Was he really this comfortable with him already? That would make showing him the third option much easier~ He reluctantly took his hand back and let the boy sleep, continuing to wait.

When Yuki's hand pulled away, his head slowly slumped into his own arm that rested against teh desk. Scrye shifted with a nose and moved to make a small nest of Eros ON FIRE hair and just snuggled. Like it wasn't even warm the falcon balled up inside the boy's fiery hair.

Yuki glanced to the clock. It felt like at least two hours had passed, but the minute hand had moved only from the 1 to the 3. Mr. Arrow was a lot quicker than Yuki felt he was. He did take a paper test in lieu of having his mind read or meditating, so he felt like his results were harder to interpret.

[Raven's Abyss]

Marsh snorted as a finger shoved up his nose and shouted, staring at irritated Arctic. "Ya damn brat! You can wait!" He shouted, eyes staring at teh neko as a huff rushed across the vampire's handsome, grayish face.

 

Arrow came back adn looked at Yuki, hands together, door open. "Are you ready to see what your inner animal is, Yuki?"

Yuki looked up. Mr. Arrow was back.

"I'm ready." He said. He was fairly certain that he would never have the same connection to his animal as Eros, but whatever animal he had, he'd treat with the same love and care.

[Raven's Abyss]

Mr. Arrow nodded and looked at teh door, smiling. And on que, a big white creature stepped out of the open door of teh sroom. Lean, beautiful, angelic. Its footing was so graceful, not a single sound was made, not even from its claws. Snowflakes spiraled and danced around the beauty of a creature, ice forming where its paws touched, but melted away a few seconds after it moved. Even though its eyes never once opened, they remained closed.

Yuki was speechless. The creature that stepped out was one of the most beautiful animals he had ever seen. He got down on one knee and stroked its fur. It was nearly the same temperature as his own skin if not slightly colder. He smiled at Mr. Arrow.

"I-I don't know what to say. Thank you so much. It's male, right?" he said.

[Raven's Abyss]

"I-I don't know what to say. Thank you so much. It's male, right?"

 

"Yes, but I warn you, he is like a wild animal when untaimed. Be careful." Arow's voice dropped, hearing the creature growled under its breath and move away from Yuki, walking around the room, leaving paw-prints of ice, to sit in a large window edge.

 

"They will stay away and fight against you, possibly try to hurt or kill you. That's why this class is your most dangerous one. Some choose not to be in this class because of that reason." The teacher watched the wolf. "Its worse, for you, since wolves themselves are one-animal packs, usually. Sometimes you see them with others."

"So this class is about learning how to work with wild animals." Yuki said, not very put off by the wolf's growling. "Well... Looks like I have quite a task before me. Where do I start?"

Maybe I should think of a name later. he thought.

[Raven's Abyss]

"Well... Looks like I have quite a task before me. Where do I start?"

 

"Gain his trust, he has always been a stubborn one... so good luck!" Arrow chuckled, "But don't make hm angry, knwo when to leave him be and back off."

Yuki nodded. He judged from his wolf's body language that he did not want to be messed with now, so he decided to leave him be. He couldn't help but feel a tinge of jealousy for Eros, who was happily asleep with his falcon.

[Raven's Abyss]

Eros awakened as his falcon shifted, living and swooping off. He lifted his head to watch Scrye land on the wolf's shoulder, giving off squeaks and cooes and soft, short whistles. The wite creature let grunts and growls roll from its partly opened jaws, possibly speaking to teh smaller falcon.

"Maybe you should leave him alone." Yuki said. "I was only just assigned to him, and I don't want to overwhelm him already. That might be bad for both you and your falcon."

Yuki kept in mind the connection Eros had with his animal. He was afraid that if one of them got hurt, the other would suffer similarly.

[Raven's Abyss]

"Maybe you should leave him alone."

 

BUt... Eros wasn't even listening, he gasped as he saw the wolf and ran to him, stopping 3 feet away. The white creature growled softly and the falcon moved to rest on the flame boy's shoulder. He stopped, soon to reach out slowly to teh closed-eyed wolf.

 

Another low growl rippled out from his jaws as they clenched, and it got louder as the lad's hand grew closer.

Yuki instinctually grabbed Eros' hand and pulled him away. Unfortunately, he hadn't predicted the force of his pulling and caused Eros to topple over onto him. He just looked at the flame boy for a while in awe, a slight blush dusting his cheeks.

"Don't scare me like that." he said. "I think it might be safer if I went up instead."

[Raven's Abyss]

"I think it might be safer if I went up instead."

 

The flame teenager's body bumped into Yuki's, a big, bright blush spreading on his cheeks and even across his nose. He looked up at the ice male, his heartbeat quickened to a fast pace, and his body seemed to shut down. Yuki's fingers laced around Eros's hand, the chilliness mingled with the lad's heat.

"I-Is this uncomfortable for you?" Yuki asked. "If it is, we don't have to stay like this."

He looked around to see if anyone else was around. Thankfully, nobody but Marshall, Mr. Arrow, Arctic, and Yuki's wolf was in the room.

[Raven's Abyss]

"I-Is this uncomfortable for you?"

 

The look on his face, confusion, like he didn't understand a singe word that came from the ice elemental's mouth. The lad's heart-beat grew so loud, even Yuki could hear it, and feel it; since their bodies pressed together. Eros gulped, yet the lump inside his tight throat didn't give away.

"I said, is this position uncomfortable for you?" Yuki repeated, taking note of the confusion on the other boy's face. He really was naïve. Inside, Yuki was happy for them to stay like this. Feeling and hearing Eros' heartbeat was comforting, and it allowed him to take his mind off of the fear of getting severely mauled by his own wolf.
