Name: Equality.

Age:17

Personality: very lost in the world, curious, frightened, and scared. Seems dull and boring because he lacks personality.

Back round: Equality lives in a government base. His passed is unknown. Perhaps he is human or perhaps he was man made- it's unclear. He is the government's New ultimate weapon. When hears a certain frequency- his power is activated. Losing all feelings- he becomes a killing machine. He can lift things with his mind- make force fields around himself. He has enhanced senses.

Examples:

Super speed-

High jumps and any type of agility

Very quiet and sneak up behind enemies with out making a sound-

Enhanced smell- so he can smell poison, gun power, blood etc-

Enhanced hearing- he can hear conversations from within another building or hear footsteps in that building and tell you how many people are inside-

And can reach into people's mind stealing information-..........

What's interesting about him is that-the more he uses his "gifts" the more New ones will appear...he's is the governments star experiment.

His." Doctor" that performers his tests loves messing with his mind and has done horrible, cruel things to him. Including rape...

Equaliy's never seen the world outside- and is training to kill and wipe out a rebellion team that's found fighting the government. When he runs away-he ends up joining the rebel team...

Others: scared of Thunder and lighting. Very quiet- until you get to know him... he doesn't want to kill people - he wants to be free...tho throughout the rp he'll learn new things and gain emotions, falling in love with Reiki.

Name: Lucian

Age: 23

Eyes: One blue (left), one green (right)

Hair: A reddish-orange on top that fades to bright orange tips. Short in the back with long bangs that hide his green eye.

Personality: A bit sarcastic and aloof but pretty laidback on his down time. Being on his own and struggling financially has led him to be fairly wary and skeptical of people he doesn't know and keeps people at a distance as a result. Burying himself in his job he ignores the feelings of loneliness and wanting to have someone.

Back round: Lucian is an orphan and had to struggle to make his way through life by doing just about any job he could get his hands on, though he's never sold himself. There's a time of his life he can't remember, all he knows is at one point in his life he had two green eyes and now he has one vivid blue eye and one almost cat-eye green and that it correlates with when people first started to disappear off the streets. Some reappearing with odd little changes and others not at all.

Other: Lucian has good evasive and hiding abilities, almost as if he can erase his existence. He also has a bit of what others refer to as a 'sixth sense' for danger. When he says they need to go, they go no questions asked.

Equality had just finished his tests. He sat in his prison like room. Staring down at his wrist. The cuffs from the lab table were imprinted in his pail skin.

"...why"

He asked no one in particular. All the other "students" in the building were mean to him...and he didn't know why. Sure he could do more then them but...

 

Equality has never been outside before. He'd offend listen in on the soldiers and doctors conversations. He heard about the sky...what ever that was and grass and cars. What were they talking about? He was desperate to know.

He got up from his levitating bad and glanced in the hall way...he didn't see anyone, the blue layers bblocked him tho... he had watched the guard tpye in the code for the door. He slowly eased is arm in a small entrance of the blue glowing lasers. If not careful he could lose his arm.

 

Equality had no trouble typing in the code and when he pressed enter. The bars retracted- leting him out. He quickly ran down the hall. Stopping when he heard voices coming in his detection. He was very weak in his previous state. He really became a monster when he was activated. But He didn't know that himself. He just knew what the government told him..

That the government was is family. You must always listen to your family. And that he was a weapon for the family to use.

That was it...

 

Equality took a deep breath as two soldiers came his way. He quickly elbowed on his the face- taking him down to the ground in seconds, the man was unconscious.

" FREEZE!"

Equality looked up at the other man who pointed a high tech gun at him...the red bean on his forward,

" e-Equality? What are you doing? Get back in your room immediately! "

Equality bit his lip and in a quick moment kick the gun out of the mans hand. The man threw a punch but the young boy caught it- and twisted his arms coming up behind him.and with his free hand- he hit the solider in the back of the neck..making him sleep...

 

Equality has always been told to kill people...but he hated hurting people...he was a good kid at heart...

He ran fast- heading to the roof. His home was surround by water...he had never seen it...but he was told it could be warm or cold...and that it was wet.

But in moments other soldiers found there comrades unconscious,

" hey? Hey John? What happened? !"

" unnn...e-Equality....escaping"

He whimpered. And one of the soldiers hit the alarm.

Quickly everything went on lock down .sirens filled the air. Red lights flashed.

" ATTENTION! EQUALITY IS ESCAPING! I REPEAT! SUBJECT 4-4-1 IS ESCAPING! "

Equaliy stopped in his tracts as the hall ways started to close, he had to escape. He had to run away!

 

It was easy for the soldiers to spot him...there were cameras every were.

" SUBJECT HAS BEEN SPOTTED IN WING 8 HE'S HEADING TO THE ROOF! DON'T LET HIM ESCAPE! "

Equality ran fast up the stairs.... he could hear the soldiers right behind him. When he made it to the roof he ran to the edge . And froze seeing them moving liquid underneath. Was that water? Lights were spotted on him from up above. Planes aiming to shoot him... soldiers busted threw the door and aimed there weapons on his thin body.

" FREEZE EQUALITY! Stop what your doing and return to your room! Get on the ground! "

Equality glanced at the water pit below and then to the soldiers.

And he suddenly jumped.

"Damn it... There's nothing salvageable tonight..." Lucian mutters walking along some of the wreckage by the coastline along the slums of the city. Leaping over a hunk of twisted metal he lands close to the water's edge to look at a part there. Pulling out a piece of paper he notices it looks like a drawing one of the guys had given him for parts they needed. "About damn time I found something..." Double-checking to make sure the others are still within sight and that no government officials are around, Lucian goes about detaching the part from the hulking machine. After every inch of the wreckage has been thoroughly combed and the parts loaded onto a small transport vehicle Lucian waves them off. "I'll catch up with you guys later." One of them yells back "Alright, but be careful! Something's got the government all worked up!" then they take off.

 

With a sigh of relief at finally being on his own for a time, he wanders along the coast enjoying the peace and quiet. While he likes the people in the rebellion it can get a bit much. Glancing over he frowns seeing the lit up government base out in the water all in a frenzy, just like the guy had said. He hadn't noticed earlier due to being focused on the job and the walls of the slums kept the building hidden from sight until he reached bend where the ports were. "What the hell has got them all worked up?" He mutters. Glancing around he slips into the shadows and almost seems to vanish to a mere shadow as he ducks down to run on the underpasses of the walkways above the water to get a closer look. Stopping at a beam on the outskirts of the wealthy portion of the city, Lucian looks out to watch the movements trying to figure out from them what was going on. Frowning he gets a confused look. "It's almost like they're looking for someone... But that can't be right. No one's ever escaped from that lab before." Feeling unsettled he takes a step back and turns to go run back to the base to report what he saw.

Equality emerged onto the shore. Pieces of metal hitting his skin as he stumbled from the water coughing. Just a little ways away from Lucian . Was water suppose to taste so gross? It was salty and hard to drink. Did people really consume this stuff on a regular basses? Equaily was quick on his feet but didn't know were to go? The huge wall that blocked his path was too large for him to climb, and he didn't like using his "Gifts" anyway.

Above him high tech helicopters flashed a burning bright, white light from above searing the metal trash...

 

Where could he go? What could he do? He had no clue were he was going. And he was too alarmed by the soldiers that he didn't sense Lucian. He ducked under a large metal hood...probably from a old beat up car.

Lucian ducks and hides further under the walkway when the helicopter appears overhead. Eyes narrowing he glares at the helicopter and wished he had something on him to take it down. Sighing as soon as he thinks of it he knows it would have been a bad move on his part. With how many of them are out and how worked up they were, there's no way he'd be able to hide and get away. Even with his little talent. As he slides back a little further into the shadows he notices the movement of Equality out of the corner of his eye which causes him to frown in confusion and curiosity. Glancing up to wait for the helicopter to move on, Lucian slips down to where he'd seen the movement.

 

"Hey? Who's there?" Lucian whispers harshly not liking what's going on. Who ever or whatever the government is looking for can't be safe or all that friendly. Cautiously he peers under the metal hood to see if he can catch a glimpse of just what exactly dragged itself to shore.

Equality turned when he heard the harsh voice. He was completly soaked. His wet strange hair dangling in front of his eyes sea water, water droplets falling from his face and body. He was still wearing his test subject outfit. Like something you'd wear when your admitted into a hospital. It was a light lime green color with matching pants.

 

There tons of rumors from the slums about "gifted" lab rats that the government was obsessed with. Rumor has it you could spot on if they had a bare code inked on there body somewhere. But Equality's was well hidden but sadly his strange hair gave it away . Somewhat.

" M...my name is Equality. "

He voice weak in the beginning but ended strong.

His unbelievably light blue eyes making connect with Lucian's mitch match ones.

 

He didn't appear completely afraid. But he didn't appear completly confident either.

Lucian stiffens before looking more closely at the soaking wet figure. His narrow as he takes in the odd hair and eyes, not that he can say much. While he can claim his hair is due to bleaching the tips, in reality his hair naturally fades at a certain point. If his hair grows out the point at which it fades moves so that the same about of fading is always there. As for his eyes, well, there's a reason he makes sure his green one is always covered. Unconsciously he lightly touches the spot under the green eye before shaking his head roughly to snap himself out of it.

 

"Equality?" Lucian raises an eyebrow and snorts. "That's an odd name, I guess it's not a surprise considering where you came from though..." Looking Equality over more slowly this time he pins him with his visible blue eye. "Just what are you doing here and how did you escape? No one escapes the lab." While his voice isn't as harsh, he still sounds very suspicious of Equality and wary of him as well. Still, Lucian is clearly more curious about the other even as he thinks of the possible uses this new found person could have. Inside information and not too mention whatever abilities he has from the experiments the sick bastards did.

Equality was salient he looked away as boats came close to the sore. They were going to look for him since the helicopters weren't doing a thing, he stuck out like sore thumb. That wasnt good...

 

" i have to go- they'll find me"

He's eyes rather expressionless. He didn't have time to befriend strangers and chit chat... if he stayed there any longerhe'd be discovered. He looked around the junk and noticed a large stack of the rusted metal was piled up near the wall. No normal human could make it if they climbed to the top and jumped over the wall...but.it was a good thing he was far from.normal.

He booked it running fast as he jumped up the metal trash. It was like watching a ninja jump from tree to tree.

When he made it to the top a loud yell came from the shore.

" THERE HE IS!! "

And quickly the soldiers pointed there guns..the little red dots aiming for him...but Equaiky jump up.high in the air and elegantly disappeared making it too the other side of tje wall. The soldiers quickly ran...trying to follow in pursuit.

" DO NOT LET HIM ESCAPE! "

 

The way equality jumped over the wall...oh man! It was a sight to behold...

Lucian watches Equality take off crossing his arms. "Show off. And to think I was going to offer to hide him. Oh well, maybe if he can actually get away from the government without dying I'll take him in." Yawning Lucian scales up the metal to the underpass to head home. While not the same grace or inhuman moves that Equality showed, Lucian scaled up a lot easier and quicker than the normal human. Glancing back up at the sky, relieved to see they were so focused on the escaped experiment that they ignored him, Lucian proceeds to fade into the background as if he was never there as he heads to small hole he calls a home.

 

As he heads deeper into the slums Lucian keeps an eye out for any signs of the government workers or the escaped Equality. Slipping down an alley Lucian goes into one of the more abandoned areas and climbs his way up to the a small opening that he slips into. Dropping down inside of what used to be a small warehouse, it is now a refurnished home. While not as nice or fancy as the wealthier districts, by slum standards it's almost opulent from the renovations done to it. The floor plan is open with heated tile flooring, a wall of bookcases that are filled with actual paper books and some not, then there's a workshop area for tinkering hobbies. On a second floor landing is a loft-like area where Lucian's bedroom and bath are. Stretching with another yawn Lucian makes his way to his greatest indulgence. The bathroom that would rival the wealthy-class. Well, the spa tube and shower anyway and that's due to the fact he nabbed them from a delivery truck that got caught in the middle of a skirmish. Stripping down he sinks into the tub with a sigh of contentment while a brief thought about Equality and if he got away.

Equaily sat in a narrow alley way. He ducked behind a floating dumpster. He had lost the government soldiers. He sat there looking around but it was nothing like he imaged. He stared at the cheep metal wall infront of him as his back rested on the opposite side of the alley...

he turned his head as ge heard something coming his way...it was a robot dog. It was madefrom rusted copper and had abroken eye...the other glowed a dim red. It had sharpscissor teeth. And razar claws. probably one of those fighting dogs. Because most people had unharmful dogs.

 

The robotic dog growled at Equality. Not knowing any better he out stretched hus hand wanting to touch the dog..he had never seen such a thing...such he heard of robotic animals but..he'd never seen on in the flesh. But the dog was clearly not friendly. And Equality paid the price.

 

{Next Day }

 

Equality was now underneath a bridge. He hadn't slept at all...and his hand was bleeding badly- even tho he had wrapped a piece of his torn off clothing around it. He still felt pain...he hadnt lost all emotion in himself....at lest...not yet...

Lucian hums tunelessly to himself as he wanders around on his own. There's nothing to be done right now with the rebellion due to the activity of last night. The hacker and intelligence people were going to get more information on what happened before deciding what should be done. Lucian had told the leader what he'd experienced last night and received orders to bring Equality in if found again.

 

As he drops down to a lower level, grabbing poles to catch and swing himself down safely, he doesn't expect to land almost ontop of Equality. "Well, looks like you've had a rough night haven't you. Why didn't you at least crash in one of the empty buildings?" He asks bending over to peer at Equality before wrinkling his nose pulling back. "Seems like you need more than just sleep..." He mutters before frowning seeing the poorly wrapped hand. Crouching down he grabs Equality's wrist to look at it frowning then stares at Equality in disbelief and like he's mentally retarded."Did you honestly try to fight a robotic dog? What are you? Stupid?" Sighing he stands up and tugs on the arm. "Come on, we need to get this cleaned up otherwise you'll get poisoned from the rust if you haven't already."

Equality was a little surprised it was the stranger from last night.

"... its you"

He muttered looking up at him. He didn't even know there were empty buildings. When the strager poked fun at his stench he looked aaway.his eyes lifeless...he had a rough night...his hand throbbed as the other grabbed it. He winced as the other called him stupid, questioning his intelligence. Should he really go with this stranger.

".. im fine"

He pulled his hand away cradling it like girl with her doll.

" besides...i can't become ill.. so you do not need to concern yourself...."

He didn't meet Lucian's eyes once.

"You really are an idiot aren't you?" Lucian sighs and in an aggravated manner shoves a hand through his hair ruffling it before pointing at Equality. "Look, if you stay out here it's only a matter of time before you're either seen by the government goonies that pick up people to take to the lab or get killed or grabbed by some pervert. Possibly all of the above. I'd rather not have that on my conscious thanks so get your ass moving. If nothing else I can hide you from the government soldiers for a time and introduce you to people who'll help keep you out of their hands. That sounds a lot better than sitting out here freezing and starving right? Now come on, I'm hungry and the food is at home." He grabs Equality's forearm this time and tugs him more gently to get him to stand up. "Come on, we don't have much time before a round does a sweep through."

Equality thought...was this kindness?

He stood up and decided to follow Lucian. Equality could go on with out food for about 2 weeks until he became ill and close to death. But being with this person was alot better then being with the government. And maybe he could treat his wound.,..even....whats the word?

Make friends?

 

He was quiet as he followed Luican. He had never needed to ask a for a person's name before...

" I-if i may...what's your name mr."

Curious about the world around him...desperate for what the labs never showed him...never taught him.

And even tho his was covered in dirt, mud, garbage, and blood....he was still kind of cute. His beautiful eyes stunningly eye catching as his hair hid the other.

Lucian hurries them along, eager to get back into his home before the sweep happens. He's not being kind, merely taking advantage of the opportunity given to him, though a part of him does feel some pity towards Equality. Glancing back hearing the question he looks away before replying. "My name is Lucian." He ignores the desperation and feelings in the eyes looking at him as they continue moving. Finally, reaching his home he points up at the only real point of entry. The hidden window. "Can you make it up to there on your own? If not I can give you a hand, but it'll be a little difficult."

Equality shook his head.

" im fine.."

He made his way up to the hidden window with no trouble at all..sure hishand hurt but he faught threw the pain. his agility was nothing to take lightly. His speed and reflects astonishing. And to.think this teen could do so much more! Lucian hasnt seen anything yet...

Lucian watches the other a bit impressed but also increasingly wary. Shaking his head to get rid of the thoughts he slips up and into his home. Once in he makes sure the window is secure before going along the landing to the bedroom to get Equality to the bathroom. "This way." He motions Equality to follow him so he can get cleaned up before they address the wound. He gets the bath going to fill up before turning to his unexpected guest. "Go ahead and undress and get cleaned up. I'll find something for you to wear and then we'll wrap your hand after cleaning it out." After making sure Equality agreed and started to get cleaned up, Lucian leaves to dig through his clothes to get the other something to wear to replace the very noticeable lab clothes.

" Wait!"

Equality grabbed Luican's shirt from behind,

" i do not know how to clean myself."

The lab workers or his doctor useully bathed him. He had never done such a thing by himself. Did Luican clean himself? Equality found that strange. Since he was very little he was always cleaned by another person...and didn't care or mind being nude. Sometimes in lab tests he had to be completely undressed.

 

" will you not clean me?"

He queshioned, his hair tangled and dirty. Along with his clothes but tho eyes...tho's stunning unbelievable eyes...so beautiful. How could anyone say no?

Lucian stops and stares incredulously at Equality. What did he mean he doesn't know how to wash himself? "What do you mean you don't know how to wash yourself?" He asks stunned echoing his thoughts. Seeing the other is being serious and not teasing him, Lucian shakes his head in disbelief. "They really do turn you guys into mindless drones who have to rely on them don't they?" Letting out a sigh of disgust he slowly turns around feeling a bit uncomfortable about washing another person who's not family, not that he has any, or a lover. Still, it wouldn't do to leave this... person so filthy and let him run around the house. "Alright... But you're going to learn to wash yourself and will do so as long as you stay with me. I'm not a care taker or your mother. Nor are you my lover so learning to wash yourself is a must." He points at Equality while speaking in a firm tone to show he's serious, but also underlines how uncomfortable he is with this.

 

Grumbling he get Equality into the tub and starts to wash him. He's careful with the tangled hair to make sure to not pull harder then he has to or to make it any worse. When most of the tangles are smoothed out he sets about washing the rest of Equality. As he cleans the other he speaks of each step he takes so the other can at least start to learn how to wash himself. He ends up having to empty, rinse and refill the tub twice to get the other completely clean but eventually manages and even brushes out the remaining tangles. "There. Now dry off and then come into the bedroom. I should have something for you to put on when you come out." With that he makes a quick escape out of the bathroom before Equality can get him to do anything else. Like dry him.

Equality listened to every step... he had so.many questions but didnt ask them. What was a lover? Was the government Lucian's mother too? Ever since he could remember the doctors have told him that the government was his mother. They were his family and to disobey the Was an awful thing.

 

Equality watched as the man quickly left.did he do something wrong? His skin was very sooth...but you could still see the needle marks on.his arm , and neck... but they should heal soon...

He looked at his wet self in the mirror. Was he a monster?

He tried to dry himself...he did a rather good job but his hair was still dripping wet as went to Lucian's room his trowel to his lips as he stood i the door way...the soap....it smelled pretty.

"............."

Lucian looks up from the dresser he's digging through. "Done? Alright, give me a second." Digging around a bit more he pulls out a shirt and grabs the pants he'd set the to the side along with some underwear he'd just bought the other day. "Here, you can wear these." He hands the clothes over while taking the towel. With a huff he reaches up and ruffles Equality's hair with the towel as it's still dripping wet. "If you don't dry off properly you'll catch a cold you know." Once done he goes and tosses the towel in a hamper then waits for Equality to get dressed. Or at least get the pants on before looking at his hand.

 

"It doesn't look too bad but it is pretty deep." Lucian mutters to himself and grabbing some antibacterial and cleaning solution puts it on the wounds. Then he quickly bandages it up. "There. Not a perfect job but at least it'll keep it from getting infected and help it heal quicker." He mutters while cleaning up to put the first aid kit away. Once done he leans against a wall and folding his arms looks at Equality. "How did you escape anyway? And why? Not that I blame you, but it doesn't seem like really have anything against the lab personally." This confuses Lucian as much as it intrigues him. Not to mention it's fairly important as well.

Equality blushed faintly as his hair was ruffled up. He struggled to get dressed but managed with out any help. He was so freaking cute! After his hand was patched up he started to glance around the room curious. Until Luican asked his queshion he froze for a moment. Looking away...

"... i.. often asked my doctor and care taker if i could go outside. They told me i couldn't. Not until i was ready... there are people hurting mother. Im suppose to protect her... but... i wondered what the world was like... i told myself I'd go back but... i dont know...theonly thing i was ever told, my perpous, my reason for living is to protect mother....

He hugged himself.

"...to escape i jumped from the roof....after breaking out of my room..."

Equality looked up at Lucian. WWhat a strange person....why did he help him?

Lucian blinks and frowns in confusion. He's never heard of the government being referred to as mother before so he's confused. "Mother? Who's...?" He stops when it clicks and then scowls slightly. "Talk about brainwashing. None of the people I've ever met have talked about having a mom that testing and experimented on them as well as use them as tools or weapons." He scoffs derisively before looking Equality over as if trying to see this supposed 'protector' of the government. "And nothing against you, since looks can be deceiving and all... But you don't seem like you could really protect much of anything. You got bit by a dog after all."

Equality frowned a little looking away.

"...i am not brain washed! I....."

He broke off glaring at Luican.

" explain why your helping me. Why did you treat my wound..."

This person must want something...no one does things out of pure kindness.

"No? Then what are you if you're not brainwashed? You've been tested on and used as an experiment by the government, who also tells you it's your 'mother' while telling you it's bad to go against your 'mother' and that it needs to be 'protected' from anyone who does goes against this 'mother'." Lucian rolls his eyes before looking at Equality when asked why he helped. "You were being chased by the government. That's motive enough for anyone in the rebellion to help someone." He pauses tapping a finger on his arm before motioning for Equality to follow him. "Come on. I'll make some food and we can eat before we continue talking."

Equality thought. Maybe he was right. But then again for as long as he could remember his mother had took care of him. The tests and experiments were to make him stronger and better suited to protect the government.

 

Equality froze hearing that Luican was part of the rebellion. How dare he! How dare he hurt mother!

Equality grew angery as he went into thr kitchen first and picked up a knife pointing it at Luican.

 

" How dare you piece if filth! How dare you try to hurt mother! Doctor was right - your all monsters. The rebellion is a joke and i swear to kill every signal on of you traders! "

He quickly came at Luican with inhuman speed.

 

His reason for living was wpie out the rebellion. To protect mother...and Lucian would have to die!
