Equality and the Rebellion

Lucian watches confused. "What are you doing Equality?" He goes over to the bed and grabs Equality as he comes down from a bounce. "We don't jump on beds Equality." Lucian tells him, not angry or anything, just informing him. Yawning he sets Equality down and turns off the lights before crawling into bed under the covers. "Good night." He murmurs settling down and pulls him over to give him a quick kiss.

" oh...i just..."

He looked down...

" at the lab...we dont have these kinds of beds. Im sorry."

As he laid down he was surprised by the quick good night kiss, but never resist it.

" night.."

He muttered. It felt so nice to be next to another person! Not alone in a hollow room that was actually a cell.

Equality struggled into Lucian's body...taking his body heat. The other smelled so good and was so warm. He fell asleep fast...a silent sleep...

Lucian takes a little while longer to fall asleep as he studies the experiment laying curled up next to him. He ignores the part of him that feels guilty for taking advantage of the obviously naive male, and instead focuses on his amazement at how easy the government made it for him to steal away their most prized experiment. Absently his hand runs along the others spine in a thoughtless caress as he slowly drifts off thinking of how this development will change everything in the war against the government. Come morning he wakes up to find himself firmly pressed against Equality with his first morning wood in awhile. He rolls his eyes as he shifts to get up and ready, prepared to just ignore the inconvenience.

Equality slowly woke up as the body heat he left disappear. He sat up and rubbed his eyes, yawning . Today he would Meet Lucian's friends. He was nervous but excited. He would meet new people. Make a friend.

He turned to Lucian and gave a tired smile.

Lucian gives a small smile in return while turning to head to the bathroom to get ready. "Did you sleep alright?" He asks while grabbing some clothes and keeping his morning erection hidden as best he can. After yesterday he's not really sure how the other would react to it regardless, but also it's not something you really bring up either. Well, not to someone who's not your lover or a friend with benefits anyway. And Equality was none of those things.

No one had ever asked Equality how he spelt before.

" I slept ...ok."

He looked aroundthe room.Equality now thought the world of Luican. His only meaning in life was to protect Lucian. It was somewhat of a servant master thing...at lest thats what it felt like..but of course being so naive, equality thought of Luican as a friend.how sad not to know how low Lucian would drag him...using him . Hopefully hed never find out.

" Lucian...um. are friends...scary?"

He got out of the funny bed wanting to follow the other were ever he went.

"Not if they're good friends. Good friends may scare you and tease you, but you know they'll always have your back when you need them." Lucian replies while quickly brushing his teeth and hair before getting dressed. "However, meeting new people can always be a bit nerve-wracking so don't worry too much. I'm sure they'll like you." He smiles slightly at Equality while leaving out the fact they'd mostly like him for being a government experiment that's on their side, but also fear and hate him for the same reasons.

Was all he said.Watching the other do daily things. Alot of the things he saw Lucian doing looked very old...like stone age things...like didn't he have a teeth scanner? To just kill the germs on his teeth?

Equality was now excited thinking he had nothing to fear. Since Lucian said his friends would like him.

Lucian couldn't help the fact that he didn't have the funds to pay for his modern appliances to be fixed. Instead he went back to what had worked before technology. "Oh, while we're out today we're going to scavenge for parts. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll find what I need to fix some of the stuff around here. Or at least get the wiring and chips fixed up." He sighs before finishing getting dressed. "Alright, let's go. No need to be late." He waits for Equality to be dressed with his hair covered up before leaving the building to head to where the rebellion is having a small meeting.

Equality nodded and quickly followed the other. Dressed. He was wearing a striped white and black shirt with black jeans. Wearing a black jacket. He followed behind Luican. He wanted to hold onto him but... he probably wouldn't like it. Out side there government gaurds outside searching for Equality. Equality quickly put his hid up. Staying very close to Lucian.

Lucian pulls Equality closer by putting an arm around his shoulders as he keeps an eye on the soldiers. He takes the longer route to where the rebellion meeting is taking place to make sure they aren't followed but is almost late as a result. When they get into the underground storage area Lucian ducks to avoid a punch to the face. "You're late dumbass! The leader is gonna skin you alive." The man almost seems gleeful as he points at Lucian who rolls his eyes while smacking the other up the side of the head. "Please, I'm far to pretty for him to skin me. And I'm a shit ton more useful then you." He smirks. The two go back and forth with a few quips as they head in deeper before entering a room and get serious while nodding to the man at the front of the room.

Equality. Sensed another person and when they came at Luican he was seconds away from beating the crap out of them but quickly stopped himself seeing that they...new each other? Equality started at the stranger as they entered the meeting room. There were at lest around 25 people there. He grippedLuican's shirt from behind. Staying behind him and letting his dark hoodie hide him.

He heard a very strong voice....the leader maybe? But everyone else was extremely quiet.

"Leader, everyone... I would like to introduce you to someone who will be extremely valuable to our cause and has agreed to help us. This is Equality. Equality, meet the rebellion." He steps away to wave a hand to indicate the other people in room while a hand rests on Equality's lower back urging him forward so he's visible to everyone in the room.

Equality bit his lip.

".... hello"

He muttered looking around at all the people...there were so many.

His name wasobviously strange. Equality removed his hood revealing his strange eyes and hair...

The man Lucian had been punched at by jolts up and slams his hands on the table. "Lucian! That's the guy the government is looking for! What the hell are you thinking?!" He suddenly sucks in a loud breath upon seeing the full effect of the hair and eyes. "F*** Lucian... He's an experiment to?! He'll bring the government down us and get us all killed!!" Lucian scowls at his friend. L: "Hey, just because he's an experiment doesn't mean anything except he's suffered more than we have. Not too mention he can offer valuable insight on them." He pauses as his eyes narrow further. L: "Not too mention he left the government and has agreed to help us how he can."

The room gasped applauded by the " lab rat."

" silence.."

The leader spoke Akira was a great leader..tho he looked rather scary wearing all black with piercing blue eyes. His black hair hanging in his eyes.

" .. Luican- L is right. However... how do we know we can trust him. The government is all over the place looking for him. Im thinking he's more trouble then he is worth. "

A girl with short blond hair and tight clothes with a shirt butted in.

" we could use the kid tho...i mean he's clearly important. "

He looked at Equality.

" what can you do kid?"

Equality bit his lip...the cruel words made him look down until the sudden queshion.

" uh...um. i can do...alot..."

He didn't know what his gifts were called..the government never Said.

" youd..need to read my..file. mother never told me"

" mother? "

She queshioned but...was quiet.

Akira shook his head watching Equality.

Lucian faces Akira and gives him a pointed look. "He's very powerful but his 'mother' who we call the government, doesn't seem to have told him much about anything except that he is to protect his 'mother'. However, he's come to the realization that he's been lied to and wishes to get away from the government." He blows out a long breath, ruffling the edge of the bangs hiding his green eye from view. "Also, his abilities seem to be linked to emotion. My home was almost torn apart when he found out the government was lying and using him. His only condition in helping us is that he stays with me." He informs cutting his friend off when he opens his mouth to speak.

The room was quiet.

" i see... still if nothing else i want to see this power for myself. And queshion him privately. If he can do damage like you say- i want him on the front lines, but think.Luican- how do you not know he still.has a connection to the government? Perphaps they still control him... im sure they do...the government loves messing with peoples minds..."

He glared at equality who looked away feeling like the black sheep in the room...

Lucian gives a sigh and rubs the back of his head. "I'm not too sure in private is a good thing Akira. I barely got him to calm down when he started to have a breakdown. If he starts to freak out here, and with all the government soldiers out looking for him, I'm not sure if we'd be able to get away or take all of them out." He voices his concerns as just from the small demo he's seen from Equality so far, it'd definitely be noticed with people actively searching for him. "As for him having cut all connections with the government, when I found him he was being chased by the government and shot at as well. Not too mention he knows nothing of being outside the lab. The second time I came across him he'd been bitten by a stray dog."

Akira sighed.

" regardless id like to talk to him. Everyone else- leave, we'll gather again again at midnight. And go over a new strategy plan."

" yes sir "everyone said

When everyone was gone but Equality and Luican. He sat. On the table looking down at the boy.

" are there others like you? Tell me everything you.know.. and if you don't know anything is there a way to obtain your file."

" ...yes...my brothers and sisters but...they dont like me. I was always doing things better then they were. Theyd get really mad at me...so i stayed in my room.and...mother said i was suppose to protect her from the bad people...if you want my file.... id have to go back home...the doctor keeps them in his office i think. He'd give me physicals ..alot..."

More like raped him.alot.

Akira nodded looking up at Luican

" what useully causes his powers to.activate? And how do you calm him,,. If were going to use him.i.want to.make sure hes won't hurt our comrades, "

Lucian shifts and looks away a bit embarrassed. "I can only say that the time it happened it was due to his realizing that the government, or his 'mother' had lied and used him which seemed to be the trigger for the activation. As for how I calmed him down, well, I kissed him." He shrugs slightly embarrassed about having to tell his leader this.

Akira raised an eye brow in disbelief.

" well i want to see what he can do first hand. "

He looked at Equality.

"Im sure he can fight. He'll be on the front linestomrrow when we attack thgovernment's shipments of new weapons. "

He smirked some what looking away.

" ...but as for him staying with you..its fine i suppose. But do keep him on a very short leash...your excused. "

Lucian's eye twitches slightly at Akira's first comment but nods and turns to leave motioning for Equality to follow him. "Well, that went both better and worse than I thought." He sighs while leading Equality towards where the members were gathering for a lunch and briefing session on tomorrow's mission. Gathering his portion he settles down with the guy from earlier and a few others while saving a spot next to him for Equality to sit down. "Hey, so what I'd miss?" He greets while flopping down. The friend from earlier scoffs while sending a wary glare at Equality. "Just me telling them about your new pet Lucian." Lucian frowns and smacks the other up the back of the head. "He's not a pet dumbass."

Equality slowly followed. Sitting down he stared down at himself. Was he a pet? He felt bad that all.of Luican's fiends were being mean to him...and it was all his fault. He didn't want to be here anymore.

" so this is the kid i heard so much about "

A man..who was very well known in the group and very kind was Alex.

He patted Equality's head kneeling at him at eye level.

" hey- im.Alex. what's your name? "

".... e-Equality, "

" very cool. Wants some candy? I can't eat it all by myself"

He smiled. Everyone else was glaring.

" c-candy? What's that? "

Equality was never aloud sweets. His mother never approved.

Lucian glances over and smile feeling a bit more relaxed. With Alex showing Equality some kindness the others will grudgingly follow his example. He doesn't examine why he feels happy about that as he sets a hand on Equality's shoulder. "Go ahead and try some Equality. A few sweets won't hurt you any. I don't think anyway..." He mutters to himself before shrugging as he takes a bite of his food before looking at the others warning them with his eyes to either be nice or to just leave Equality alone.
