Canaria was relieved when the vampire stopped for him, walking beside Ryuu when he startes to walk again. Looking over his shoulder at Klein when he shouted after them. Slowing himself so that the wolf coins catch up with him looking at the vampire when they stopped walking. "Most we can do is bring you in as my guest." He said, watching Ryuu to see how he v felt about it.

[Elmeida]

Since he had concealled his presence, the hunters wouldn't know he's a vampire.

Ryuu shrugged, "Okay, I'm fine with that."

"What about me?" Klein asked.

"You will stay hidden somewhere." Ryuu replied shooting Klein a sharp gaze.

Klein flinched a little, "But I-"

"We can't have three people inside, we might be found out. It'll be faster if I go and a bit safer for you." Ryuu replied.

When Klein agreed, Ryuu turned to the hunter, "Shall we go?"

[Sorrow]

Canaria gave Klein a sympathetic look, he understood that he just wanted to help but it would be dangerous enough to bring Ryuu into the school. "Go hide, Klein." He said, lifting his hand to gently rub the wolf's head. "We'll be back as soon as we can." He said kindly and looked at the vampire. Nodding his head, "yes, Try to keep calm." He said, heading towards the school.

[Elmeida]

So far no one looked suspicious of Ryuu when they walked in.

Never in his life had he thought he would be 'visiting' a hunter school.

Everywhere he turned he saw hunters...and his anger flared.

How dare they live so peacefully, when our races are suffering...all hunters should just disappear, he thought.

He glanced at the hunter. All of them should go...except him.

[Sorrow]

"You need to calm down, you're radiating anger. You'll be noticed." Canaria whispered, only loud enough for the vampire to hear. He was hiding the nervousness he was feeling. It would be a very strange site for his visitor to be seething at the sight of hunters. Oh great, his teacher was starting to get suspicious of Ryuu.

[Elmeida]

He heard the hunter whispering. Is my anger that clear?

He grit his teeth and knew the hunter was right. He caught the gaze of someone looking at him very intently.

''We need to hurry, or else.'' Ryuu whispered to the hunter's ears.

[Sorrow]

"I know that." Canaria whispered, heading towards the shooting range, gripping onto his bag. The teen glanced at the teacher and started to grit his own teeth., the man was starting to follow them. The hunter pulled Ryuu into an empty class room, "he'll be here soon." He stated, looking at the vampire.

[Elmeida]

There was no way around it. If they started running they would look suspicious.

He leaned to the hunter's ears and whispered, "go to the woman and take her to Klein, I'll be the perfect distraction for them. Don't worry, I don't plan on dying that easy."

With that said, Ryuu pushed the hunter behind him and started walk towards the teacher.

Countless of times, he asked himself why he was risking his life and countless of times he didn't have an answer.

"Hey you!" he shouted at the teacher, his voice also caught others' attention. He smirked.

"I saw you staring at me, are you in love with me or something?" he asked teasingly and showed his fangs at the teacher.

He saw the teacher flinch and quickly reach for his weapon strapped to his belt. The others around him too.

I'm not planning on going down without a fight...I hope that hunter doesn't fail me, he thought.

Besides, I am hungry after all. His eyes were glowing crimson red, like that of a blood thirsty demon

Canaria lifted his head when he heard the whisper in his ear, frowning deeply. "I don't want to leave you alone." he said, stumbling slightly when he was pushed behind the vampire. He didn't want to leave the vampire in a gall full of hunters, he was going to get killed. Body tensing when he shouted at the teacher. "Stupid." he whispered, biting down on his lips when the teacher and students reacted to the fangs being flashed. He's already been caught with the vampire, he was screwed anyway.. So he might as well help. "I'll be back in two minutes. You better fucking stay alive." he hissed, throwing his bag at the vampire. It had some weapons in it, they may hurt Ryuu to the touch but it was better than leaving him defenseless., quickly running down the hall to where the werewolf was being held. He was not going to leave the vampire alone for long.

He was surprised when the hunter hissed at him. Even more stunned when threw him his messenger bag.

He peeked inside first and there were some weapons in it. Though it would drain his power, he wouldn't be able to stop all these hunters by himself.

So he does have a soft spot for me after all, thought Ryuu. Grabbing one weapon on each hand, he positioned himself waiting for the first hunter to attack. He wished he could use his fangs and drain the blood out of them but he wasn't so low as to drink the blood of a hunter....maybe for the gold eyed long-haired hunter.

The first hunter attacked and they continued attacking him, all on one.

Of course it wasn't fair, to them he was a blood-sucking monster, and to him, they were cold blooded murderers.

He was able to hold them off but with the weapons he was fighting with draining his power and the number of hunters increasing, he knew he couldn't make it.

Then suddenly when he was fighting some of them, he felt a shock at the back of his neck.

One of them had got to him from behind, it paralyzed his whole body which caused him to fall. He felt one of the hunters chain his wrists. They dragged him to a room, a dark cold room with only one window, where his chain was locked to a wall. They then left him in the dark cold room. After a few minutes, he fell unconscious...

[Sorrow]

Canaria locked the door behind himself, pushing the desk in front of the door to keep the other hunters out. Some had persued him after they saw him assist the invading vampire, he wouldn't be able to keep his promise and make it back as soon as he wanted. The hunter turned on his heal and ran to the werewolf chained to the back of the class, he picked the locks and hoisted the unconcious woman onto his shoulder. He carried her over to the window and opened it up, carefully crawling out with some difficulty. She was a bit small but it was hard to move with her on him. The teen was relieved that he was able to get out without dropping her. Running to the place Klein was hiding. He carefully placed her on the ground without speaking to the other male before running back to the school. He could feel the vampire's presence moving and he knew it probably wasn't of his own free will.

 

He knew where they were going to put him so he snuck along outside of the building, he was screwed if he got caught. He stopped outside a window, peaking into it, relieved when he saw no hunters. He opened it up and hoisted himself inside, making no sound so he wouldn't be noticed. He needed to get Ryuu out.

[Elmeida]

Wake up, you idiot, Ryuu told himself.

He had to wake up, he didn't want to suffer the same fate as his parents.

Though every part of his body ached, he opened his eyes, everything was blurry but he could see.

He heard the window rattle. He saw a boy climb in through the window, his long hair flailing.

He already knew who it was. "Why don't you just tell me your name already?" he said softly, a pained smile on his face.

He tried to break the chain holding him but it only hurt his wrists and he winced in pain

[Sorrow]

Canaria's eyes filled with sadness when he saw the poor state Ryuu was in, he felt terrible for leaving him alone with so many hunters. The settled his feet on the ground, quiet footsteps as he made his way over to the vampire. He knelt down in front of Ryuu, slowly picking the lock so that it wouldn't make unneeded sounds as he freed the man. It would be very bad if he was caught, "..It's Canaria.." he whispered, getting one cuff off before working on the other.

[Elmeida]

Ryuu thought the hunter would refuse to tell him his name. He was dumbfouded when he whispered his name.

As the hunter was done with the second cuff, Ryuu gently placed his cold hand on the hunter's warm, baby soft cheek then looked at him with warm eyes. "That's a nice name...Canaria. I'm Shunsuke Ryuu. You see, it wasn't so hard telling me your name right?"

He laughed a bit but then winced again. He was really in a pathetic state. "We should leave now or else we'll be found out."

He stood leaning on the wall for support...

[Sorrow]

Canaria let out a soft sigh of relief when he got the second cuff off of Ryuu, putting his tools into his pocket. The teen paused when he felt the hand on his cheek, gold eyes focusing on the vampire's features. Forcing back a blush when he saw the warm look in the male's eyes, he was surprised that the vampire was being so gentle. "That's a nice name." he said softly, glancing towards the door when Ryuu laughed. He rose to his feet, hooking one of the vampire's arms around his shoulder. "We're going out the window. You go straight home when I get you off of school grounds."

[Elmeida]

Ryuu had no clue why he felt good being scolded...he was seriously losing it.

Canaria is stronger than he looks, Ryuu noted. They had trouble getting out through the window but they made it out of the school safely and headed to where Klein was.

"You haven't taken her back yet? She needs to be treated fast." Ryuu told Klein as Canaria let go off him and leaned on a tree for support.

Klein looked at Ryuu with pity, he looked so frail. "I know but I was worried about you guys." the woman was dangling from Klein's shoulders but she didn't look uncomfortable.

"We're fine," he said with a little gentleness in his voice, "but we shouldn't stay here, the hunters may follow our scent, we'll use the long way back."

Klein nodded in response, he then looked at Canaria and thanked him. He had started walking ahead of Ryuu.

Ryuu then gazed at Canaria. "This isn't goodbye, I still haven't thanked you my style." he had started walking then he turned back and said, "I'll meet you by the waterfalls tomorrow at sundown, I'll be waiting for you...Canaria." he then followed Klein and was out of sight...

[Sorrow]

Canaria held Ryuu up, helping him out of the window as quickly and carefully as he could. The hunter wrapped his arm back around the vampire, holding onto him as they made their way off of the school grounds. Relieved that they made it to Klein without a problem, but he too was a bit annoyed that they girl was still there.

 

The male slowly let go of Ryuu, near the tree so that he could lean against it. "it's very kind of you to worry, but you should have gotten her out of here. I just got her out, I don't want her and you captured." he said, but did smile when he had been thanked, watching the werewolf walk away. attention returning to Ryuu when he spoke. "Your style?" he quested, "I'll be there.." if I'm not dead. The last part he only added in his mind, he watched as they left, quietly heading back to school.

[Elmeida]

"You seem to be in an awfully good mood, despite you looking like a wounded dog." Klein remarked. Ryuu would have already snapped by now but he was smiling, which puzzled Klein even more.

"Can't I be in a good mood when I want to be?" Ryuu asked Klein.

"Hmmm, I guess you can." Klein was also in a good mood. They had rescued the woman and she was still alive. As they neared the vampires hide out, he knew it was finally over...and was a bit saddened by it.

"I'm sure I'll be seeing you more often now that our races have formed a bond." Ryuu said. He waved at Klein before retiring to his residence.

"I'm sure we will." Klein said to himself, smiling.

 

The next day reached in the blink of an eye and Ryuu's wounds had healed. Although it was only mid-day, Ryuu was all ready to go. The vampires noticed his change and were quite curious to know what had caused it.

"You should introduce that special lady to us Ryuu." said one of the higher breed vampires.

"Yeah we really want to see the woman who won over your grumpy heart." one of his friends said.

Ryuu only laughed, they were shocked for it was the first time he ever did in front of them, some other vampires came to see what was going on.

"If I do then you'll have to promise not to flirt," he then looked at them with daring eyes, "if you do, I'll kill you without a second thought...because he's mine." he added that last part with a smirk. He left them with confused faces.

"...did Ryuu just say 'he'?" the higher ranked vampire asked, the rest were too shocked to answer.

 

Ryuu walked to the waterfall humming to himself.

It wasn't a date or anything, he was just simply...ridiculously happy.

He reached the waterfall but the sun was still shining, he knew he was early so he didn't mind waiting.

He climbed a tree with such agility you wouldn't think he was injured the day before.

He rested on a branch with his hands behind his head and waited...

Canaria was positive that he was doomed if he was seen by any of the other hunters, word of his betrayel would not take long to spread and regardless of what he was he would be killed if he was caught. Helping out what should be pray to him was a grave offense and there was no way he could get out of it. So he decided he'd simply leave the school. The teen made his way back to the school, hiding when he needed to before he reached the tree under his dorm window. He climbed it with ease and slipped into his room, he reached under his bed and grabbed two duffel bags before he started stuffing them full.

 

Putting his clothing, weapons and anything else he thought he could need. He pulled them on, crossing them over his body and climbed out of his bedroom with some difficulty and snuck out of the room and quickly disappeared into the school.

 

During the night he slept up in a tree near the waterfall, and awoke early in the morning. Just sitting there in the tree, he really didn't know what he was going to do now. There was no where for him to go. He paused when he felt the presence of Ryuu and jumped out of the tree, heading to the water fall. "Ryuu?" he called out, looking at the tree, he had arrived just moments after the vampire.

[Elmeida]

Ryuu was startled when he heard his name being called. He sat up and under him, he saw Canaria searching for him. Just the sight of him made his heart throb. He smiled and jumped from the tree.

"You couldn't wait to see me?" he asked cunningly.

Though Ryuu was happy, he noticed something wrong with Canaria.

"what's wrong?" he asked full of concern.

[Sorrow]

Canaria smiled a little when Ryuu looked down at him, watching the vampire jump down in front of him. "It's not like that." He said, although he was happy to see the vampire he want going to voice it, he blinked in surprise when asked what was wrung. He didn't think the vampire would notice, he held his bags closer. "I can't go back, they'll kill me... I have no where to go." He said softly.

[Elmeida]

He was expressionless for a minute when he heard Canaria's reason. Why didn't he think of that? Of course Canaria would have faced consequences for helping them.

I'm so stupid, how could I not know I was hurting him? Even though I didn't know and I just left him alone yesterday...shit!

Regret wrenched his heart making it bitter. He strode to Canaria and took the hunter's small, warm hand against his long slender and cold ones. He then bent down as a servant would to his master. For a vampire to bow to a hunter was a very historical deed.

"For not realizing the pain I put you through and making you suffer. For my selfish demands that I pushed on to you. I beg that you please forgive me...I'm so sorry."

He then slowly pulled the hunter's hand close to his lips. Ever so gently, he kissed the back of Canaria's hand sending all the feelings he felt for him.

[Sorrow]

Canaria watched the vampire's face, searching for some sort of reaction towards what he just told Ryuu. He didn't expect too much out of him since it had been his own choice to help them out, no one but himself to blame for his actions. The hunter could have just walked away but.. for some reason he couldn't, he had to help.

 

The teen paused, watching as the older strode up to him. Hand lightly grasping the vampire's when it was taken into Ryuu's, cheeks flushing a beautiful shade of pink when the man bowed down in front of him. The action was a total shock to him, he wasn't expecting that kind of reaction. "You don't need to apologize, I chose to help you. This is my own fault." he said softly, the color on his cheeks darkening when the meaningful kiss was placed on his hand, understanding very well what Ryuu was trying to express to him.

[Elmeida]

He felt Canaria's heartbeat increase when he kissed his hand. He raised his head and smiled, very much liking Canaria's expression. He looked into Canaria's golden eyes, everything seemed to stop for a moment. Though he wanted the moment to linger, holding that warm hand and looking into his enchanting eyes, he had to stop.

Stare later...help now, he thought.

He had to confirm something before taking a risk. He wanted Canaria to stay with him in his place but he had to make sure it was alright to.

"What about your family?" he asked, not letting go of his warm hand.

[Sorrow]

Canaria stared into the vampire's eyes, holding tighter to the gentle hand in his. Never had he felt this way about someone, man or woman. He didn't want the vampire to look away from him, wanting Ryuu's full attention. For a moment he had forgotten about his situation as he stared into the other's eyes.

 

"My family? They're hard core hunters.. They'll just kill me themselves if I go home.. I could never compare to my brother, I've always been a nuisance in their eyes." he said softly.
