Ryuu's heart panged in pain when Canaria replied.

"You're not a nuisance, you're an important being...your family is just too blind to see that!'' he said a bit irritated but he cleared his throat.

"I want to help you. Come with me to my residence...temporarily until I find you some suitable place to stay. I'm sure you won't be discovered easily because I live separately with the rest of my clan and also if you hide your presence. Please accept my offer Canaria, it's the least I can do.'' he said, hoping he would agree.

[Sorrow]

Canaria blinked when he heard Ryuu's passionate objection to the way his family thought of him, a small smile forming. It was nice to hear someone say that he was important. "Your residence?" he repeated, letting it sink into his mind. He wanted to accept so badly but he was worried what the vampires would do if they found him there, regardless of the fact he'd be living desperately from him. "I can hide my presence, I am very skilled despite my hatred for hunting." he said softly before nodding his head in agreement. "Okay, I'll stay with you."

[Elmeida]

He was expecting a refusal but the reply was the complete opposite. He smiled brightly then helped Canaria with some of his bags.

"Then let's go." he said and still holding Canaria's hand, he acted fast because he was afraid he would change his mind. They would take the short way and as fast as possible. If they wasted any time, they would obviously be noticed.

They had walked until evening. The short way seemed a bit longer maybe because he was slowing his pace for Canaria to keep up. They passed large trees that all looked the same, just like a maze. It was meant to confuse all non-vampires, mostly hunters who were curious to know where they lived. Ryuu reached a clearing and just when it seemed like he would stop. He walked through the clearing and vanished into thin air, entered a portal, dragging Canaria with him. The place didn't seem wierd at all, it was just like a part of the forest with its own river and lake. They continued walking for quite a bit when they started to see settlements and paved streets. The vampire clan lived just like any normal person would, except the fact that they lived in ancient stone built mansions and most of them slept during the day. The place looked abandoned somehow and it was really quiet.

Ryuu strode on with Canaria until he reached the last mansion. It looked all alone but it was grand and that was where the street pavement ended. He had never invited anyone to his house, Canaria was the first. It had a small porch and lawn but it was neat and tidy, not a blade of grass growing out of place, not a fallen leaf from the trees surrounding it. He walked to the porch and opened for Canaria to get in.

It was warm inside nad it looked like a decent place. The furniture in it was all unique and ancient. The first place they entered was the lounge which already had a fire in the fireplace. The couches were plush and looked cozy. It was a bit dark inside with the curtains closed and the only light was that of the fire. Ryuu placed Canaria's bags on a couch.

"I'm sure you're really tired...make yourself at home." he said smiling.

[Sorrow]

"Okay." Canaria said, allowing the vampire to take two of his four bags. He was not going to object to the help, it was a little hard to carry his belongings around on his own. The hunter blinked when the vampire started to walk, holding tightly to the hand in his as he was led through the forest, he didn't need the slow pace, he was perfectly fine. Looking around with every step he took, he was beginning to get lost, he couldn't keep track of anything around them as they past through the wilderness. He understood very well the confusion was intentional to keep the vampires safe from the hunters.

 

All thoughts completely left his mind when he was dragged through the portal, magic was not something he often encountered since he never actually went hunting. The hunter instantly hid his presence before they made it out on the other side, he didn't want to get caught before he even made it to where he was being taken to. Eyes wide with wonder when they did make it out, looking over the new forest as they made their way through it. "This is amazing." he said quietly when they arrived in the vampire's town, he never saw a vampire settlement before. It truly did amaze him.

 

Canaria looked towards the mansion as they walked up to it, gazing moving over the yard and everything in front of him. "This is amazing." he repeated with a smile, attention turning to the vampire when he was lead up the porch. Slowly walking into the building when they opened the door. "It's wonderful. I am tired though.:

Ryuu smiled whenever he saw Canaria's astonished look.

"I'm sorry you had to walk all that way. I understand if you're tired, would you like me to take you to my room or...do you prefer to stay in mine?'' He daringly asked the last question with a smirk on his face looking straight at Canaria's golden eyes.

[Sorrow]

"I'm not tired from the walk, it was hard staying asleep in that tree." Canaria responded, gold eyes staring into the vampires eyes. A blush forming on his cheeks, "let's get to know each other a but better first, for now I'd like to stay in my own room." He said, smiling shyly at the other male.

[Elmeida]

"Of course, getting to know each other first is very important," he would wait for great things come to those who wait. But he wasn't a patient man and living under the same roof with Canaria was bound to make him snap.

"Come with me I'll take you to your room." Ryuu took some of Canaria's bags and led him up the stairs, passed through great halls with grand pictures hung on them some of them with Ryuu and some of them with a young couple.

They reached the room which had ancient furniture like wadrobes and a four post cozy looking bed...

[Sorrow]

"I'm glad you agree with me." Canaria said with a smile, he was relieved that the vampire understood why he wanted to have his own room.

Canaria watched the vampire as he picked up the bags, following the other male as he walked upstairs. Gazing around as he walked, he was mesmerized by the other's mansion. Attention turning to the pictures as he walked by them, he wanted to ask about them but he was unsure. The hunter looked into the bedroom when he was led into it, smiling. "This is pretty."

[Elmeida]

The rooms were always cleaned and aired though they were never used. Ryuu was happy that their relation was going well and soon...very soon, their relationship will be better.

"Okay, so I'll just let you rest. I'll call you when food is ready." he had a guest so he had to treat him like one.

[Sorrow]

Canaria felt surprisingly comfortable in the vampire's house, he didn't feel any reason to be worried. Ryuu's presence was actually pretty comofrting.

"Thank you, I'll see you then." he said, setting his bags down on the ground, he closed the door and crawled onto the bed, not bothering with covering up. Eyes closing, body completely relaxing on the soft bed, it didn't take long before he fell asleep.

Though it had been a long time since he had a guest, he was confident in his cooking skills. Since humans lived far from them, vampires had to resort to eating normal food and drink blood on special occasions.

He headed to the dining room first to set the table and light the fireplace.

Then he went into the kitchen and started cooking. After a few hours and a few failures, he finally had a simple meal of spicy beef stew and pasta. He set it on the dining table together with some red wine, he drank red wine like almost everyday, it was like his water. When he decided it was ready, he went to call Canaria.

"The food's ready..." he said outside Canaria's room, when there was no answer, he entered.

"Canaria...?" he entered the room. He noticed a body on the bed, it was Canaria sleeping soundly.

He walked closer, not making a sound. He must have been tired after all, Ryuu thought. He stared down at Canaria, his face completely unguarded. His beauty is really uncommon, he thought, Canaria's long black eyelashes cast a shadow on his face. His long glossy hair was tangled and covering his face.

Ryuu stroked back the hair gently so he could see Canaria's face. His skin was smooth and had the warmth of a human being. He caressed Canaria's cheek looking at his soft lips, he was lost in a trance.

Then, on impulse, he bent and gently kissed Canaria's warm lips.

"...you're so careless sleeping so unguarded in my presence. Wake up before I get in the bed with you..." He whispered in Canaria's ear, slightly biting the earlobe.

[Sorrow]

Canaria slept peacefully in his bed, cuddled into the blankets. Dreaming of Ryuu, a slight blush on his cheeks as he did, it wa strange to him that he was actually dreaming of being in a relationship with the vampire.

 

The hunter stirred slightly when he felt the lips on his own, "Ryuu." he said in his sleep, not realizing that the kiss wasn't a part of his dream. The teen held back a surprised gasped when his ear was nibbled on, eyes slowly opening, a deep blush on his cheeks.

[Elmeida]

Ryuu only stared at the blushing hunter. Maybe I prefer him sleeping, Ryuu thought. That reaction was bound to make him do something he would regret. He backed away and ruffled Canaria's long hair, dispelling the awkward air around them.

"The food's ready, let's go before it get's cold." he said as he held out his hand...

[Sorrow]

Canaria blinked in confusion when Ryuu pulled back and ruffled his long hair, he really didn't want v the vampire to move away from him. But he stopped himself from pulling the older male back to him. The teen slowly sat up and took the offered hand, sliding out if the comfortable bed.

[Elmeida]

Ryuu held onto Canaria's warm hand, not moving just holding his hand.

He saw the reluctance in Canaria's golden eyes and wondered 'why'.

He looked at him intently, his sight not wavering.

"Or do you wish we stay here?" he asked, almost like a whisper.

[Sorrow]

Canaria held onto the vampire's hand, grasping the other's hand gently. Gazing back into the other's eyes. "No, it's fine.. I just want to spend time with you." He said, standing up in front of the vampire.

[Elmeida]

Ryuu nearly choked on his saliva when he heard what Canaria said.

He wasn't dreaming, right? He looked baffled, bewildered. It took a whole minute to get his thoughts straight.

"Uh,erm sure thing. I want to spend time with you too." he said then he smiled warmly at Canaria.

He stroked Canaria's hair with his other hand, pulling him closer to give him a kiss.

It was innocent, like a peck on the lips though he wanted to do a whole lot more.

"We'll spend lots of time together..." he murmured.

He then pulled away from Canaria and leading him to the dining room.

He wouldn't take the initiative to do something selfish.

If it involved the hunter, he wouldn't do anything against his will.

[Sorrow]

Canaria smiled when the vampire said he wanted to spend time with him, he was happy that Ryuu felt the same way he did. The teen smiled when he felt the gentle hand stroking his long brown hair, blushing lightly when his lips were pecked. Smiling slightly before kissing the other male's cheek, "I'm happy to hear that." he said softly, slightly disappointed when the other male pulled away. Trailing after Ryuu to the dining room.

[Elmeida]

Ryuu froze a bit as Canaria kissed his cheek.

Is he tempting me? Ryuu thought frustrated. Here he was holding himself back but...

He avoided Canaria's gaze. If he looked at Canaria one more time, he wouldn't mind eating him for supper.

Ryuu pulled a seat for Canaria to sit. Then went to his own and the first thing he did was drink the wine in his glass.

He would drown his frustrations by drinking wine, he added more wine and chugged it instantly.

He wasn't weak when it came to drinking but...with Canaria there, he wasn't so sure if he could handle it.

He drank another glass then began eating his food. Now that his carnal desires tingled, normal food tasted disgusting.

He caught sight of Canaria looking at him but then he turned his gaze to his food.

"Eat before it gets cold..."

[Sorrow]

Canaria sat in the seat that was pulled out for him, gazing over the table at Ryuu when he sat in his own seat. Tilting his head to the side when the vampire started downing the wine, he didn't really understand why the other was drinking so much. Hoping that it wasn't because of him. The teen pause when Ryuu caught him staring, he flushed lightly and looked at his own food. He picked up his fork and started to eat the food, not touching the wine since he'd never drank before.

[Elmeida]

Ryuu's chest panged in pain when Canaria quickly avoided him. He wanted Canaria to look at him, he didn't want Canaria to look at him. Such thoughts raced in his mind, he didn't understand himself either.

He sighed, put down his fork and leaned back on his chair.

"It's not that I'm avoiding you...ok, I am avoiding you a little...but it's for your own good."

He stated staring at Canaria eating his food.

[Sorrow]

Canaria took another bite of his food, raising his head to look up at the vampire when Ryuu spoke up. "For my own good? How so?" he questioned, watching the older male. Not understanding why the other would want to avoid him, he really did like him and he didn't want the vampire to avoid him and push him away. He'd already risked his life for the vampire, ther was no reason for Ryuu to avoid him now. It was a bit too late for that.

[Elmeida]

Ryuu looked at Canaria with a blank expression then he chuckled.

"Asking me so innocently..." Ryuu rose from his chair walked to Canaria.

He placed his palm on the table and leaning closer to him.

"Why don't I just tell you the truth. Being around you drives me crazy, not the bad kind nor is it the good kind of crazy. You make me go against my nature. It's not lust I feel for you but something stronger, warmer...I want you, even though I know it's forbidden. I can't stop my feelings for...wanting to monopolize you."

He reached out his other hand and caressed Canaria's cheek, looking at him so lovingly.

"I don't want to do something that will hurt you, I don't think I can bear it. That's why I want to know...if it's alright with you, to have these feelings for you. Please be honest with me."

[Sorrow]

Canaria watched as Ryuu rose from his chair and walked around the table to him, tilting his head to look up at the vampire as he leaned closer. A faint blush forming on his cheeks when the other male said he drove him crazy, it wa nice to know why the older male was trying to distance himself. "I don't care if it's forbidden." he said softly, leaning into the gentle hand on his cheek, gazing back at the older male. "Hurt me in what way?" he questioned, lifting his hand to place it on top of the other's. "I'm okay with your feelings.. because I feel the same way.."

[Elmeida]

Immediately after he heard the reply, he leaned even further and kissed him.

He said it was alright, I don't have to hold back anymore, Ryuu thought as he placed his other hand on Canaria's other cheek.

"...open your mouth a little wider..." he whispered between kisses.
