Kuro purrs happily as he looked at the bacon. "It pops?" he asked curious as to what that meant. He didn't like the thought of getting hurt by something your suppose to eat. His gaze drifts to Lin wondering if the other would be okay cooking the bacon. He didn't want him getting hurt.

Soon small popping sounds are heard from the grease getting hot to show what Lin meant. He's experienced with it though so doesn't flinch when small specks land on him from time to time but most don't leave the pan. He flips the bacon periodically until it's just starting to look fully cooked and sets it on a ready plate that has paper towels on it. "You don't want to cook them too long because they continue to cook after you pull them off. So you want to get them out of the pan before they reach the point you want." Lin explains while putting more bacon in which causes the grease in there to hiss and snap again.

Kuro shakes his head as he backed away from the stove. "I don't want to cook bacon. It scares me." he purrs covering his ears. He watched Lin but at a safe distance. It was then that he heard a faint ringing sound. His ears twitched as he looked around. Kuro bit his lip softly still watching Lin cook.

Lin laughs. "It's not that bad Kuro. A lot of food when cooked on the stove will make sounds when you cook them. That's how cooking works." He hears the ringing too and frowns. "Kuro, go put on some pants and answer that will you? I have to stay here to make sure the bacon doesn't burn or catch fire."

Kuro runs to the room and puts on pants. He also grabs one of Lin's shirts and puts it on. He then runs back out and answers the door. He was confused as the person there was someone he's never seen before. Kuro glanced back at Lin wondering if he knew who it was.

Lin frowns at the figure in the door way not really recognizing who it was. "Yes? Can I help you with something?" He asks more to be polite and finding out who the person is than really caring. Anyone who comes to his home without him knowing who they are or why they're there never goes over well or makes him feel at ease. So until he knows what's going on he's keeping his fighting options open should the person try to come in without express permission.

Kuro steps aside as he looked at the male. He noticed the person was holding a briefcase. The man held up the case and opens it. He then pulls out some papers and gave them to Kuro. He was now more confused than ever. The man then bows his head leaves. Kuro glanced at the papers and then Lin. "These say I am officially your pet. Look there's official stamps and stuff." he said with a smile.

Lin raises an eyebrow. "You can read Kuro?" He asks taking the papers to look them over for himself once he finishes with the bacon. Setting the food on the table he sits down to read while grabbing a slice of bacon to nibble on. "Go ahead and eat Kuro." He waves for the other to sit down and eat while he looks over the paperwork fully.

Kuro glanced up at Lin. "No I can't read perfectly but I've seen these exact papers before. Another stray showed me his when he found an owner. The stamps and such are the same. If I'm wrong then what are they?" Kuro asked walking towards the food. He takes a pieces of bacon as Lin had done and he goes over to sit beside him. He purrs softly as he eats the strip while watching Lin.

Lin chuckles and sets the papers to the side. "No, you're right. They're your finalized adoption papers saying you belong to me now. So that means no one else can take you away without my consent." He smiles thinking of the annoying vet that had tried to separate his new pet from him already. Still, it would be best to take Kuro an actual doctor to get him fully tested so the next time someone tries something he'll have evidence to support one way or the other.

Kuro smiled as he kisses Lin's cheek. "That means I am all yours. Do with me as you please." he said happily. He was too excited about having Lin as a master to realize what he was saying. Kuro didn't really worry though since he wasn't aware of Lin's true demeanor. To him Lin was sweet and perfect in every way. "So now what shall we do? I am all yours officially."

Lin smiles at Kuro's words and pulls the other onto his lap to pet his ears. "First we have to go to a hospital to get a full blood test done so if that annoying vet ever comes back we can send him on his way. After that we'll get some stuff to help you last longer during our... mating, okay?" He says while nibbling on his neko's neck.

Kuro purrs as he listens happily. "Lasting longer...? There are ways to actually train for that? I never knew mating was like a skill. It now makes me look at it in an all new light. I'll study hard and do my best. I'll become the perfect pet for you." he says smiling innocently. Kuro was curious about what methods Lin would use. He was too nervous to ask. Kuro sort of enjoyed surprises and this felt like one.

"It takes a lot of practice and training to last longer. But don't worry, I'll help you get better." Lin promises with a smile as he thinks about the toys and tools he's finally going to get to use. "Some of it might seem odd or scary to you but you just have to trust me okay?" He rumbles out while rubbing and scratching an ear more fully.

His tail wraps around Lin's wrist. His purring so cute as he clings to him. "I trust you fully so no worries. I'll accept all your training no matter what it is." Kuro says blushing. Being with Lin was the best. "Let's try the fancy bread we made together. We only are the bacon." he said happily

Lin chuckles and pets Kuro's ear. "Go ahead and eat what you want. I'm going to finish looking this over and make sure I have no questions about anything." He then goes back to the documents while occasionally grabbing something to nibble on and eat it. Once done he sets them to the side and finishes eating his share of the meal. "Alright, it all seems in order. Now then, let's get ready and go get you checked up."

Kuro nods as he rolls off of Lin and sets himself a plate of the food they made. He eats it happily while sitting beside the couch. He couldn't help but feel happy that he belongs to Lin and Lin only. That and the fact that he helped make breakfast. Once he finished eating Kuro took his plate to the sink. "Lin...! What should I wear?" he asked giggling. His ears twitched happily and his tail sways.

Lin raises an eyebrow at the question a bit confused and amused by the question. "Find something comfy. We'll be going shopping after your check-up and then get some lunch while we're out." He says gathering up the dishes to rinse them off and start putting leftovers away then putting the dishes in the dishwasher.

Kuro giggles as he ran into the room. He pulled on some shorts and a decent shirt that wasn't completely falling off of him. He would have loved to just wear one of Lin's tops. Though he had a feeling he shouldn't show himself off to anyone but Lin. With that in mind, he fixed his hair a bit and rushed back to where the other was. "How do I look? I am saving being all cute for when we come back home." he said smiling

Lin grins and nods. Good, his pet is already starting to unconsciously and consciously do what pleases Lin in terms of dressing. Soon that will extend to everything else. "Good boy Kuro. Now let's go. The sooner this is done the sooner you can be 'cute' for me at home hm?" He says while gathering his own stuff needed to go out after getting dressed. Opening the door he leads his neko to a doctor's office that he's gone to for years and so can trust them to do a good job with what he wants done. Once there and Lin has explained that he was a full blood scan for any diseases or health issues, they nod and tell Kuro to sit on a table and go about drawing blood samples.

Kuro was happy Lin liked him being all cute and adorable. He glanced at his collar as they left the house. He still hadn't gotten use to it but it was his greatest gift from Lin. It was more special to him than anything. Once they got to the doctors, Kuro got a bit nervous. He sits upon the table as the doctor began taking blood. Lin absently pets one of Kuro's ears as they take the blood. "Almost. Just a few more seconds." He replies and nods when they remove the needle and bandage the spot. "There, now you're done." He says in a soothing tone giving Kuro's ear a light tug. "Now then, let's go and get some food before shopping for some training items hm?"

Kuro winced softly as he looked at the bandaid. He glanced up at him and blushed softly. "Uh alright. I'm not all that hungry though. Can we just go shopping? I want to hurry home and be with you." he said purring cutely. Kuro couldn't help but want to be with Lin all the time. His gaze drifts down to the bandaid again. He didn't like it at all but it was done and there.

Lin smirks and nods. "Of course Kuro. We can do that." He replies while leading the way out of the hospital and onto the streets.
