Julian took deep breath of fresh air as he finally escaped the stuffy palace. He stretched his arms over his head, tilting his head back to feel the sun on his face. He had traded in his fancy clothing for a simple shirt, vest and pants. A cap hid his sandy hair, dead giveaway that he was the prince. Sometimes being the only one in the kingdom without white hair was irritating. He couldn't go anywhere without being recognized.

The young angel spread his white wings and took to the sky, enjoying the the feel of the wind whipping through his hair. He flew around for a while before he finally landed in the forest. He started walking down a path, the sounds of the woods drifting around him. Soon he came upon a small field and gasped. It wasn't the beauty of it that made him gasp however. No, what made him gasp was the sight of the demon laying amongst the flowers.

Julian cautiously approached, tensed in case he had to fly away. When he got a little bit closer he spoke. "D-Demon, why are y-you so far from battle?"

Sardius slowly opened one eye to see just who was talking to him. A frown soon appeared on his face upon realizing it was an angel. If there was one thing the black-haired demon hated, it was angels. He closed his eyes again and clutched onto the wound on his abdomen.

“Why would an angel care, hah? You came to finish me off? Hurry up then.“ He almost growled out while laying on the grass. He was feeling nearly ashamed that he didn't even have the strength to fight that angel... It was truly shameful for a soldier like himself.

“If you don't hurry, I might as well kill you off right here so you don't cause me trouble.“ Sardius hissed before opening his silver eyes. They were already filled with hatred as he glared at the angel. Why didn't he just back away?

"If you kill you will be in more trouble than it would be worth." Julian said as he stepped closer, eyes fixed on the demons wound. It didn't look too deep, Julian thought he would be able to heal it enough to where the man could function without falling to the ground in pain. Julian worried the demon has a lost a lot of blood though, he didn't know how long he had been out here. So, uncaring for his safety, Julian knelt next to the demon hesitantly, unthinkingly removing his hat which revealed his sand colored hair, a dead giveaway that he was the prince.

He reached forward one small hand and gently moved the demons hand from the wound. His bright blue eyes examined it before he laid a hand on it softly. His eyes drifted shut and he exhaled a breath. Soon, a soft glow began emitting from his hand. The torn flesh under his hands slowly began to knit together as Julian began to unmake what had been done. Once there was nothing left but a scar the glow faded and the angel's hand dropped to his side as he let out a shaky breath, feeling slightly drained.

Sardius' eyes widened a bit when he saw the angel's hair. He knew of only one angel with hair like this... It had to be the prince, hm? It was getting a bit interesting here... If he managed to trap this angel and bring it back to demons, he would get a nice reward for sure!!

As the demon watched the other's movements, he could almost feel a smirk getting on his face. This guy was going to heal him? An angel healing a demon... That was definitely something new. Sardius closed his eyes while waiting for the man to finish. He couldn't refuse help from an angel now, could he? The prince was not what he expected. He was a bit too weak and nice...

Once the angel was done, Sardius knew that he had to catch him. Immediately he pinned the angel down and smirked. “You should never trust a demon, didn't you know that?“ He asked in a mocking manner. “Oh, but I should be honored... I've been healed by the prince, eh? Who knew someone as mighty as you would help a demon~“ Sardius said while staring at the angel.

Julian had close his eyes for a moment and so he was completely taken off-guard when the demon pounced. Literally. He let out a squeak of shock when he suddenly found himself pinned to the ground by the very same demon he had just healed. Lids flew back to reveal bright blue eyes that glared up at the other man. "R-Release me at once!" He ordered, trying to look imitating. He didn't do a very good job at it though, he looked like a kitten trying to be a lion. He wiggled, trying to escape the demons hold.

The demon smirked and tilted his head. “I won't release you... A prince of angels, that's bound to make me famous throughout the lands, don't you think?“ Sardius said and quickly pinned the other's hands above his head. He needed one hand for what he was going to do... While murmuring a spell, the demon bit through the skin of his hand and quickly made a circle with some runes on the grass. He then slammed his hand down, closing his eyes as he felt the familiar energy drain. Moments after, a huge, black snake appeared on the circle. Sardius greeted it with a smile. “We're going to have this boy as a guest today~“

Julian's already pale skin paled even further as he realized his mistake with taking his cap off. His writhing grew as he tried to buck the demon off after his hands were pinned above his head. But it was to no avail. By healing the demons wound, Julian had also given him back his strength. Coupled with the fact that he was still weak from the healing act itself, Julian knew he wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. When the demon summoned a snake, Julian tried to flinch away. He fears snakes; He's feared them ever since one bit him when he was younger. The poison would have killed him if he wasn't taken to the healers straight away. The scar is still there, right above his heart. Julian returned his gaze to the demon. So, he was going to be taken captive. I wonder if father will search for me...

Sardius' smirk grew wider as he watched the angel squirm beneath him. "Aww, is the prince scared? Why don't you use some of your powers, at least to make this a bit more interesting?" The demon asked as the snake slowly made its way to the angel. The snake wrapped its tail around Julian's legs, its body going upwards to his arms, providing him from moving a muscle. "You're a bit boring, hah?" Sardius said while getting off the prince. He couldn't move with the snake on him anyway. While quickly grabbing the blonde to toss him over his shoulder. "Too bad you're like this... I wouldn't mind at least a little bit of fun time at a time~ Maybe they'll let me keep you as a pet, hm?" Sardius smirked while thinking about having the angel as an obedient pet for himself. As the demon started walking, his black wings slowly spread out and he took off into the sky. He didn't care about angels catching him now... He was holding a hostage. And a very precious one at that...

Julian let out a whimper of fear as the snake slowly slithered up his body. His body froze, the muscles locking; too terrified to move a muscle. Even with the snake restricting his movement, Julian couldn't move if he wanted to, which he didn't. He then let out a small yelp as he was tossed over the demons shoulder.

Sardius held the angel with one hand while soaring through the sky, his silver eyes cautiosly looking out for any dangers. The nails of his fingers were just slightly pressing into Julian's skin as the demon let out an annoyed groan. "Where the fuck is everyone?.." He muttered out to himself before increasing the speed of his flight. Sure, the hostage was a good idea, but if the king was to appear... Sardius wouldn't stand a chance. Unless, of course, the father was the same as the son.

Julian squirmed slightly at the feel of the demons nail slightly digging into his skin but his moving about ceased when the snake let out an annoyed hiss. Julian whimpered, freezing in place once more. His hair was whipping around his face from the wind but he was unable to reach up and push it back.

Sardius glanced back and let out a snicker. "You seem too scared to move even a bit... Oh, could it be that the mighty prince of Heaven is afraid of snakes? Wow, you angels are way too confident if you let someone like you call himself a prince..." The demon muttered and turned back to watch where he was flying. "Tch." Only this escaped the taller male's lips as he saw a huge black cloud up ahead. He didn't feel like flying through rain this time... "It's your lucky day..." Sardius hissed out while slowly flying down.

Julian didn't answer, just remained silent as they flew downward. His brain was working quickly to see if there was a chance for escape. The oncoming rain would give him an advantage, something to use. When they were close to the ground Julian acted fast. He reached out his mind to the snakes and shouted very loudly in its head. The snake jolted, releasing the angel enough for him to grab the snake with a whimper and fling it away. In that same moment he twisted in the demons grip until he felt himself slip free. He fell to the ground, landing with a thump that drove the air from his lungs. It took him a moment but he scrambled to his feet, gave the demon a terrified look then fled into the forest as the clouds poured down rain.

Sardius let out a hiss of pain and clenched his teeth as the angel started getting away. "You're not going anywhere!" He growled out before flying to the other. He still had more energy than the prince, so it didn't take him too long to catch the blonde. "Now you try running away again and I slice your throat. Understood?" The demon hissed as he pushed the angel to a wall. His silver eyed seemed to be getting a bit of a red shine as he growled, in the same time showing his fangs. "I don't give a shit how precious you are for the angels. You annoy me - you die." This was a lie Sardius was telling himself constantly. He hated killing, even if it didn't seem that way. He might hurt someone, but he'd rather let them stay alive...

Julian ran as fast as he could but it seemed he wasn't fast enough as he was soon pushed against a wall by the demon. Julian thrashed in his hold, blue eyes bright with unshed tears and glaring into the demons. "Just kill me then! I'm a disgrace to my father anyway so you would be doing him a favor!" The angel spat, the tears trailing down his face to mix in with the raindrops falling down.

Sardius raised his eyebrows and growled. "Now now, a prince is a disgrace to his father? Why? Oh wait, I know. Because you're a weakling who can't defend himself from a simple demon, eh?" He asked with a frown and tsk'ed. "If you'd just stay still, I might not hurt you..." The demon muttered out, yet only tightened his grip on the angel. "Just don't think I'll let you go. My king might have an interest in you..." The black-haired male said quietly and turned his eyes to the blue ones. "Stop being a crybaby." He growled as he saw the tears.

Julian's glare grew fiercer. "No, its because I refuse to take part in this ridiculous war! And because of that, my father wants nothing to do with me!" He shouted, trying to kick the demon in order to release him. He writhed, trying to escape once more.

"Oi, no kicking." Sardius said ang looked at the angel. "Riddiculous war? Idiot, war is never riddiculous. Do you know how many of both angels and demons were already killed?" The demon asked quietly while never letting his eyes off the prince. He wanted to get into his mind, even if just for a glimpse... An angel's mind was the greatest mystery for Sardius.

Julian stilled, his anger rising. "That's why it is ridiculous! There is no point to the fighting. People are dying for no reason whatsoever! We're fighting a war where the reason the war was started in the first place as been lost. There is no win or lose, just two side senselessly killing. Both sides say its for the "Greater good" but what is so great about wiping out a whole race?!" He was breathing hard, both from the shouting and his anger. He was trembling, not from cold or fear, but from the injustice and rage he felt inside.

"So what can you do about it? Nothing. None of us can do anything at all. We enjoy killing each other. We crave for more blood that's been spilled in battles. It can't be changed anymore." Sardius said and slowly looked around while holding the angel in place. "So what if some refuse? They're easily silenced. I had to kill my own comrades because they refused to obey." Sardius nearly hissed out and glared at the angel. "It's all because you "mighty" angels think you're so much better than us. What's that nonsense about good always winning? You lose. You lost. And you will lose."

"Why does it have to be about good and evil? And you don't think I've not seen my own fair share of killing? My friend was killed by my father in front of my eyes simply because he refused to fight. The only reason I'm not dead yet is because I'm the prince." He laughed humorlessly. "What a help I am. Here I am, next in line for ruler and I can't even keep my own people from being killed. So just kill me, you would be doing everyone a favor." Julian said, falling limp in the demons hold, the fight gone out of him.

"Tch. I don't even find interest in weaklings like you. You're just gonna give up? You won't even try to overpower me?" Sardius groaned and lifted the angel's chin with his fingers. "I won't kill you for now. I'll bring you back to my King, he'll tell me what to do with you." The demon hissed and motioned for the snake to wrap around Julian's body again. "And this time, don't scare my snake. She might bite you if you anoy her too much..." Sardius muttered out and tossed the angel back on his shoulder before starting to walk. He really didn't want to soak in the rain... He had to find some shelter.

Julian didn't resist as the snake wrapped around him again and he was once again tossed over the demons shoulder. He was tired, both mentally and physically. He sighed and waved his hand. The rain that was coming down stopped falling on Julian but continued to fall on the demon. Julian gave a little smirk, feeling slightly better.

Sardius let out a soft groan and intentionally dug his nails deep into the angel's skin. He thought he was being a smartass, hah? With a scowl on his face, the demon made his way to a cave where he tossed the prince on the ground. "Don't move a muscle." He growled out as he scanned the cave for at least a few branches. He picked up all that he could find and easily lit up a flame with his fingers. The taller male then sat down and let out a sigh. This day was a complete mess...

Julian winced when the nails dug in deeper. He then let out a small squeak as he was suddenly tossed to the ground. He ignored the demons command and struggled into a sitting position, white wings fluttering with the movement. He scooted away from the demon, settling against a wall slightly further away from where the demon was sitting.
