My cousin got me into shojo manga but then one day I came across yaoi while reading shojo on the internet, I don't remember what it was, but it just went from there. Back then, I was an innocent young gal who only knows the world of shoujo. But after reading that, I got curious and searched for other yaoi manga. But didn't really like it that much so I just kind of left it alone until I met a friend who explained what yaoi was to me,I think I was around 14/15. and well... I was introduced with my first yaoi which was Sensitive Pornograph. I remember I had to keep pausing because I was blushing so much watching it, then I moved onto softer stuff like Gravitation and Loveless, and my all time favourite Junjou Romantica! My first manga was read ny ny when it was published in France. Then I mostly read fanfiction (mostly gundam wing), around 2006 I started to read manga and I have not stopped since. I started at the Storm in Heaven, mochi mochi, Shi-Ran and Obsession scanlations era... when internet is painfully slow.. so much that 4mb takes more than 30minutes to finish downloading. Demian Syndrome was my first but I stopped halfway because I was looking for "swordfights" and it didn't feel like it was going anywhere. If you have that slow of a net connection then you'd grow impatient too. (Years later, I finished it anyway! Yay!) Then I found "Inu mo Arukeba Fallin' Love" and then... Remember back then most of the groups hosting their projects in IRC? Lol, I don't know how to dl from IRC so I always dl a lot of Yaoi from Aarinfantasy. For me it would be almost 9 years as well. I started about 4 years ago when I came across Junjou Romantica and Sekaiichi Hatsukoi. It's classic and at first I had no idea what I was doing but that's where it all started.
