Guest cheshireArtist
"Come kids. I hope you all are prepared for another fight if needed. I doubt there will be more but don't let your guard down. Twins...you two watch out for traps. Now, come." "Yes ma'am," The three said in unison, fallowing the woman up the staircase The twins did as ordered and looked out for traps as the group slowly ascended the stair case. They hit their first trap in the middle of the staircase, and it was Rosa who called it. "Stop! Wire!" The girl called, catching the glint in dim light. Everyone froze, barely visible, in the middle of the stair case was a thin, barely noticeable wire. Ruu looked to the sides, seeing numerous other glints in the shadows around the stair case. The twin's fallowed his gaze, and paled, they would have been skewered...big time. "What do we do now, Miss Astaat?" Maria asked, standing as still as possible, still glancing at the arrows prepared to fire. Ruu stared at the wire, to most it would just look like a small silvery glint, but to the boy's sharp eyes it was as clear as day when he focused on it. It looked like he could duck under it easy...but he wasn't sure Maria, Rosa or Astaat could.
Teesie
Astaat looked away from the traps as the group halted. She was scared to go any further, there was no telling what would happen if they were to trip over one of the silver wires. It was a good thing that the leader of the Faction was flexible and almost perfect with balance. She was about to take another step when the twins called out the danger. The dark, curly haired woman slowly placed her foot back down to he original pose. It there was someone who could get pass, it had to be the smallest of the four...that was definitely Ruune. "The only one who could go through with this would be Ruu, but..." she continued, taking another step back. "This Cindy women will have no way of actually getting past. We have to see what the trap does. I hope it only makes a step fall...that way Ruune could grab the woman and tell her to run with him down the stairs. It will be a race against time, so you'll have to let her before you Ruu." Staring into the boy's pale green eyes, while smiling slightly to the other. Guest cheshireArtist
Ruu gulped, but nodded shakily. He was scared...the entirety of the mission rested upon him now, and if he messed up it could not only mean death for himself, but death for his friends as well. He gestered for him friends to wait down at the bottom of the stairs, not trusting himself too well to talk at the moment. The silver haired boy ducked under the wire, biting his lip. He looked around with sharp, pale green eyes, searching for more wires as he slowly ascended the staircase, vanishing from his allies view. Rosa and Maria watched their smaller friend disappear into the darkness nervously. "Ya sure he's gonna be fine up there by himself, Miss Astaat? Who knows what they have up there?" Maria asked, looking at their faction leader. Above them Ruu stuck to the shadows, peaking into doorways and watching his step. Soon he happened upon a door, cracking it open he found a woman sitting in a chair. Her back was to him so she didn't notice him standing behind the barely cracked doorway. Teesie
Astaat glanced down at Maria and gave her a small nod. She knew that what Ruune was doing was dangerous, but the woman also knew that the petit, small boy could succeed. The kid had much agility, he only one she was worried foe was Cindy. Having stairs fall would be the best trap to have, anything else would be too deadly, making the task harder for her student. "He'll be fine. We all know that Ruune is a very good learner as well as protector. There is nothing to worry about girls." The black, curly head woman told the twin girls that, but she was worried about the other herself. Sighing slightly, the leader of the Faction stared into the distance of the stairs, hoping that the silver haired male was coming down soon; albeit with the mysterious woman that goes by the name of Cindy. Guest cheshireArtist
"Um...are you Cindy?" Ruu asked quietly, opening the door a little more. He was tense, and had his dagger out, and ready for use if necessary. Their target could be hostile for all they knew, and he might have to knock her out to get her down the stairs. The woman had gotten up calmly and nodded at him. Ruu couldn't tell what she was exactly...she looked human but there were plenty of shape shifting demons out there, and you can't always trust someone based on appearance. She smelled human too, but there's potions out there that can disguise a demon's sent. "Can you come with me please, miss," The silver haired teen asked calmly, his question coming out more as a statement, or an order. She nodded again, smiling in an almost amused fashion at him. The young fallen grabbed 'Cindy' by the arm, finally taking notice of the cuffs all ready placed around her wrists. So she was all ready a prisoner? He was still a bit skeptical of the woman, though. He guided her out of the room and to the the edge of the stairs. Well...this was it...it was do or die now...Ruu would just have to hope the arrows he saw glinting in the shadows started at the top of the stairs rather than the bottom. "Now, for you sake and mine, please run as fast as you can down the stairs," The smaller muttered to the mysterious Cindy, who nodded again in her odd way. He saw his teammates at the bottom of the steps, and hoped, that if it came down to it, he could push Cindy, and they'd catch her so that they can succeed in the mission. The small twin took a breath and nudged the woman, signalling for her to run. And run she did, with the fallen right behind her. Then the wire was snapped and Ruu thanked every God he knew when he heard arrow fire behind him, and didn't see them shooting a head of him. Cindy was on the floor first, and the twin girls apprehended her before she could get away, and Ruu reached the bottom without a moment to spare because two arrow ended up nicking his shoulder and even the back of his head, resulting in blood staining his silver hair. The boy smiled lightly at his faction leader, and let out a weary sigh...he was glad that was over with at least. That could of ended a whole lot worse. Teesie
The Faction leader smiled at the other and sighed heavily. She hadn't saw the silver gleaming arrows that was spiraled around the staircase, Astaat did not have sharp eyes like Ruune or the twin girls did; that was why she had asked the others to look out for traps. The small silver haired teen had actually made it, even though the woman could see that he had been nipped with an arrow or two. The woman would have been much more worried about Ruune instead of the lady they had come to save. Astaat looked to Cindy and gave a skeptical look. So this was the one that Sir and Fasu wanted to save. What exactly was she to them? "Do you happen to know anyone by the name of Fasu or Sir?" Astaat asked, even though she wished she hadn't said Sir. This woman possible knew his real name so there was no chance she'd know who that was. Guest cheshireArtist
"To sum up the mission, we got back to base, and Fasu looked shocked, but Leader...he looked amused for the most part. Cindy, it turns out, was a demon after all, under the guise of a human, and what we attacked was a Hunter's base. It wasn't the Elites, not even close, but they didn't expect us to survive. Rosa and Maria were actually pretty smug about the whole ordeal after we reported to Sir; they were proud we went past the expectations set for us. And, despite myself, I was a little proud too...mostly because it made Fasu angry. I really didn't like the man...he was extremely cruel...just the worst type of person. Two days later we all received a punishment because we somehow drew the attention of the Realm Officials that day, and now the Demoni was on their radar full time. Leader was furious because he was trying to stay under the radar until the Demoni had extremely large amount of members, and now that plan was ruined. Fasu...he had been given the task, as the leader of the Torture Unit, to punish us. Astaat, she took the brunt of it, and it took her a while to recover after that...the most Maria, Rosa and I got was a whipping. But...after that day I became one of Fasu's...favorites. That is...not something I really want to relive. The years went by rather quickly, and before I knew it I had been in the Demoni for two years. Now...I'll confess, the things I was made to do in those two years were horrible, and by the end of them I had been forced to send four innocent people to their deaths. I guess that would be why I wanted to be a healer afterwards, to atone for the lives I took, and the families I hurt. Over those four years Astaat, the girls, and I had become very close, like a true team, and Astaat was our leader and our protector. We, secretly, began to try to find a way to leave. It was risky business, betraying the Demoni, and we were putting our lives on the line just by thinking about it, but we wanted out. Now, here is where the story picks up, and it was the first time I actively disobeyed Astaat's orders...but I still don't regret it...though things could of turned out better than they did." ---Almost Two Years after Ruune's Fall---(Ruu had just turned 17) The rumor mill at the Demoni had been churning, and Ruu couldn't believe what he was hearing. The Capture Unit caught Angels! Not half-angels, no, completely full angels! Apparently they were snooping too close to the base, and the members on patrol caught them by surprise. A lot of demons, and even some fallen and half-demons of the Demoni were excited, but not Ruu...no, the silver haired teen just had a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach about all of this. The small boy sat at a small table in the Medical Unit commons with Maria and Rosa, sipping nervously on some tea he prepared earlier to calm his nerves. "Did ya hear Ruu," Maria chattered, a sly smirk on her lips, "They caught angels, and not only that-" "Fucking Realm Officials, Ruu, they caught Officials! Two of them! Pretty high ranking too from what Nari was bragging," Rosa concluded, nursing a coffee with a smirk of her own. The smaller looked up at his friends with a frown, he defiantly did not find this amusing, since it could possibly be someone he knows down there. He guessed the twins didn't care, since it was the Officials that had killed their demon father when he tried to sneak into the Human zone to visit the twin's mother. He understood, but still felt like it was more of a sobering subject rather than a light one.
Teesie
Astaat was sitting at the table with her chin on her palms and legs crossed firmly. She heard the girls bragging on the Capturing unit catching two Realm Official members, the woman knew the twin's background; therefore the black haired Faction leader knew that the girls had a reason to brag and relish in the fact that the others were captured. Over the years the four of them had became closer, almost like a family; albeit at this subject...she could tell that Ruune was a bit skeptical. A smile nor an amused expression ever played on his face. To be honest, it seemed to Astaat that the silver haired teen was actually worried and not al all happy. Maybe it was just one of those days for Ruu, or not. She couldn't be too sure if the other did not voice his opinion on the matter. "Yeah well, I heard Sir was planning on killing the two after getting some information on the officials. Seems like the man is a high ranking man in the organization, if not the leader. The two is said to be a kin, but I don't know how true it is." She voiced, giving a small nod, confirming their conversation. --- Due to Isaan being locked in the dusty cellular for long had pissed him off. The white haired teen was wanting out and once he got that very chance he would do so. Digging on the side of his shaved head, the digits on his right hand combed through the long white strands. There was no way that he would lose to a bunch of demon of beings.
Guest cheshireArtist
"Yeah well, I heard Sir was planning on killing the two after getting some information on the officials. Seems like the man is a high ranking man in the organization, if not the leader. The two is said to be a kin, but I don't know how true it is." Ruu blinked owlishly at her statement, biting his lip. That seemed way to close to home for the young Fallen, way, way too close to home. Suddenly a spasm of emotion ran through him he hadn't felt in two years; frustration, anger...a little bit of underlying fear? He hadn't felt Isaan's emotions in years, mostly because of the distance. He could feel that his brother was living and that was about it. The small teen dropped his tea, the cup shattering and the contents getting all over the table. Isaan was close enough for him to feel, the Demoni just captured two related Realm Officials...they captured Isaan and his father! No, no, no! This could not be happening. Not his twin! Not his father! No! Quickly he blocked off his side of the link so that he would still feel a distance from the elder twin, it wasn't painful like cutting it, so the other shouldn't notice. He could still feel the white haired twin fully, though, which was his advantage since he controlled the link. "I-Isaan...," Ruu whispered, gripping lightly at his chest...over his heart. It was a gesture that made both Maria and Rosa's eyes widen, both of the girl immediately recognizing such a movement. The boy had told them that he was a twin himself...and they shared a weaker version of the girls' bond. Rosa's eyes widened as the conclusion hit her first...Ruune was close enough to feel his brother...and the Demoni just captured angels.
Teesie
Isaan let out a blood curling scream as he fell to his knees. Coughs reigned through his body, left hand gripping at his stomach and chest while the right kept him from falling over. The pain was excrutiating and the white haired twin couldn't stop it for nothing. A groan was then released as his hand gave out and the muscular like body fell to the floor. The worst feeling ever was whenever his twin cut the link between them. Though, it kind of scared the elder twin. One reason being that the link had never been cut in years. That could mean two things. One, Ruune just decided to shut off the link or two, the fallen angel had died. Either way it hurt like hell. Aheal frowned slightly at the smaller of the tow and kneeled beside him. The man knew that whenever Isaan did this, the smaller twin had cut the connection. Maybe, just maybe the fallen was around. --- Astaat stared to Ruune and stared to him. The gesture was something that the while team recognized. Just as she thought, the two captives was none other than someone Ruune knew. Someone that the boy valued even more than his team partners. His twin brother, Isaan and father. Though, the black haired woman was not happy for this. She would not let Ruu even get close to those two evil beings. She'd kill them first. LOVE THE AVATAR! Guest cheshireArtist
"I...I need to lay down," The small boy muttered, biting his lip. He could feel his brother's pain...he really hated doing that, but it would help if they didn't know the Fallen was here, let alone alive. The silver haired boy got up to head back to his tiny room in the barracks. He needed to think...he knew he just couldn't let his only family get killed. It didn't matter that they've hurt him, he would not allow them to die! The boy made it to his room and sat on his bed, knees pulled to his chest. What was he going to do...he needed a plan of action before even attempting this, that was something life here had taught him. Maria and Rosa exchanged looks with each other. They couldn't even begin to imagine what their teammate was going through. His twin was in mortal danger, and he had no hope of protecting him without committing complete and total treason, thus signing his own death warrant. The question was...were any of them going to help him if he does decide to try and help his family. Rosa frowned, they both knew Ruune well enough by now that the silver haired boy would lay down his life for someone he cared about. On one of their more dangerous mission Ruu had gotten critically injured shoving Maria out of the way of a near fatal attack...it was one of the reasons Rosa cared for and respected the boy. She owed him her other half's life. Maria frowned, knowing what her elder twin was thinking about. Yeah, she remembered that...she still felt bad about it too, their friend was in the Medical Wing recovering for a month because she got cocky in battle. The two locked eyes...well it was decided. They'd help him if he decided to be stupid...they couldn't let Ruu go down alone, he was their best friend. (Thanks bro! Changed my profile picture too.) Teesie
Isaan was writhing on the floor, hands bawled as he gripped at his shirt. The pain felt as if another life form was bursting out of his body, it hurted just that much. Taking a hand that was held to him, by Aheal, the white haired teen continued to let out loud screams and grunts. The pain was just too much. Fasu was staring to the boy with much anger, he didn't know whether the other was in extreme pain or just faking for attention. Either way, no pain could just continue to hurt that way, unless of course one actually inflicted it upon the Realm Official. He, or any other member of the Demoni, did not place a hand on the other. Not at all. "SHUT HIM UP." The man had to yell just to be heard over the agonizing screams. It was getting quite painful just to stand and listen, Fasu couldn't deal with it any longer. "I WILL NOT LISTEN TO THIS OBNOXIOUS SCREAMING. HE WILL BE QUIET OR DIE SOONER THAN EXPECTED." Sir was just standing and listening with an emotionless face.it was true to him also, but he could tell true pain from faking, and no actor could even be this good. There was not a word spoken from him though, but Fasu would not kill the two without his permission. "Can't you see that he's not faking. He's hurting and he has a reason to. If you could just leave then you wouldn't hear him too much." Aheal defended, combing his digits through Isaan's long strands of white hair. Oh~ love it! Guest cheshireArtist
Maria and Rosa ventured to their friend's room, slipping inside and closing the door with out missing a beat. The silver haired teen looked up, frowning slightly at the two young women. Were they here to convince him to not go through with it? They hated all Realm Officials after all, it was one of the reasons they made the mistake of coming into this hellish organization. Ruune began to open their mouth, to say that he would do it not matter what they said but Maria cut him off. "Look, Ruu, before you go off on how you can't abandon your brother-" "Listen. We decided to stand by you." "Like it or not, we are a team-" "And we wont let you go and do something dumb without us." Rosa finished, both girls smirking their usual smirks. The small teen's pale green eyes widened, tears building up in the corners of his eyes. He never really had friends like this before...he used to only have Isaan and his father, and they could only do so much. "Thank you...you two don't have to, but thank you," He said, voice barely above a whisper. Both girls grinned at him, and Rosa ruffled his silvery hair. "You've been there for us, it's only fair that we are here for you," Rosa said, sitting down next to her teammate on his bed, "You gotta plan?" Maria joined them, taking a seat on the other side of Ruu, leaning in close to hear what the boy had to say. "Yes...but we have to wait until midnight, when Sir and the Faction Leaders go to bed and the guards get lazy..." The fallen began, voice low to avoid any listening ears, "We need to get the key off of Astaat...I don't think she'll just give it to us so we are going to have to steal it. Then, before we go and unlock their cell, we hide some extra weaponry in an empty cell, and then I'll use my side of the link to direct my brother there from a distance. After that we just need to make sure they make it out okay, and the alarm isn't raised before they can get out." "What about us? What are we gonna do after that?" Maria asked, chewing on her lip and looking to her smaller friend. "If this goes as planned they'll never know," The silver haired boy muttered, wincing a little at the pain he still felt from his twin. He hoped that Isaan would recover by midnight. "Question, how the hell are we going to steal something from Astaat of all people? She's as edgy as you sometimes, Ruu," Maria asked yet again, giving him a skeptical look. "Ye of so little faith, Maria. You know what I used to do for a living, dear sister. Leave the key to me," Rosa smirked, they both could be admittedly cocky, but Rosa used to steal from people...in the Demon Zone, which was dangerous business. She could defiantly steal a key from their mentor. Now that all of that was decided, all the trio had to do was wait...Ruu just hoped that his family could hold out until then. Teesie
Isaan writhered on the floor and let out hoarse screams as the pain never weakened. The strength he was mustering was still there, he would not give up. Though, at times like this the white haired male thought that he was surely cursed. To have such a powerful link with his twin was not a help at all. It truely was true that Ruune was a part of him. Aheal only stared to his son with a concerned and worried look. The others would just have to deal with the screams, though it had became less obnoxious. Isaan's voice had cracked and was only letting out broken screams. Ruune had truly left his older brother behind. Just thinking of such a thing made the father of the two sick to his stomach. He hated how the smaller male's life ended like. If only that night wouldn't have happened. Fasu had left minutes ago along with the older man, Sir. The only one that accompanied the cellular with the Realm Officials was a woman. She was to keep guard and make sure that nothing happened. As if he and his son could even try to escaped with as much pain the other was going through. --- Astaat sighed and stood from the table as well. The woman knew that Ruune and the girls were up to no good. From being a leader over the three for long, the woman knew exactly how the kids were. "Damn kids, the three of them should know better to not interfere with anything. That would resort in a dangerous encounter."
Guest cheshireArtist
---Several Hours Later--- It was almost one at night and getting the keys from Astaat took longer than they thought. All three had prepped their weaponry, and, along with his daggers, which were at his side, Ruune had an extra pair of swords strapped to his back. He knew his father and brother would never get out of the base without some sort of weaponry. The silver haired boy pulled the hood of his cloak up, hiding his face from view. Rosa and Maria opted against cloaks, claiming they got in the way of fighting. "Fucking hell," Rosa whispered as the trio traveled the halls leading to the dungons, twirling a set of keys on her finger, "Does that woman ever sleep?" "Aw~, you're just upset that you owe me twenty bucks now. Hehe, I won," Maria teased her older sister in a playful tone. Rosa rolled her eyes and flipped her twin the bird, causing their smaller teammate to roll his eyes under the shadows of his hood. "Quiet," He whispered, as the approached the dungons, "I'm going to stash the weapons, you two go free them." The twins nodded and the three parted ways; the girls to find the angels' cell, and Ruune to find an empty cell. Once finding an appropriate cell the small teen removed the swords from his back and placed them quietly on the ground. He also put dowm a medkit he'd been carrying, since they might need that. The fallen then found a place to hid in the cell, waiting for signalling emotions from his twin. Rosa and Maria finally found the cell they were looking for. Maria inwardly scoffed, just one guard...damn where they lazy! Rosa nodded in agreement, stiffening a small laugh. "Hey," She called to the tired looking woman, "We're here to relieve ya, you can go to bed now!". The identical twins smirked as she thanked them before stalking off to find somewhere to sleep. Rosa approched the Angels, frowning slightly. Though not screaming the other teen she presumed was her teammate's twin still looked in pain from a severed bond. She remembered the one time Maria had done that...they couldn't last one minute. The girls exchanged glances, and nodded. Rosa unlocked the cell door, opening it wide, and moving aside. "Well," Maria began slowly, and cautiously, "Get going, or are you just gonna sit there staring all day like a couple of idiots?"
Teesie
Isaan was barely conscious when he heard the door to the cell open. The pain had turned into a dull ache*his body, but he could surely still feel it. It was just something he would have to work with. The pain would leave anytime soon, and though it may linger forever, the older was sure that his body would gain resistance to the the shocks over time. A voice made the man look up, Aheal smiled slightly at the help that was delivered to them. The girl seemed to have an attitude, but who was he to deny the girl and her statement. Grabbing a hold*of the other, the man quickly stood, Isaan leaning his weight onto the other heavily. "This is our chance. Pull yourself together, we may not get a chance like this anymore." Aheal whispered to his son, slowly dragging the other along. The white haired teen did not like to be treated like dead weight, so he pushed away from his father and stood on his own. There may was an unbearable ache in his body, but he would not be a weakling to his father. "Whatever, let's get out of here. I swear I'll murder everyone here!" He argued, giving a small frown to the other and biting his lip. He just wished the pain would stop.
Guest cheshireArtist
The twin girls stared after them as they left, both agreeing that Isaan's statement was rather rude...but Rosa's firm hold on her twin's arm kept her from retorting. Maria glared at their retreating backs...if it weren't for Ruu she would have gladly let them rot. Rosa sighed and ran her hand through the younger's dark hair soothingly, she hated when her crazy sister got worked up. She wondered how Ruu's end of this was going. Sensing his twin's determination, Ruune took the opportunity to test something. 'Come here...empty cell...can't go on without...some...kind of...defense,' The smaller sent from his half of the link. What he had wanted to say had come out in clipped phrases, and sounded like a staticy radio due to Ruu's blocking of the link earlier. It was like trying to talk on a phone in a no signal zone. The small teen frowned from behind his hiding place behind a water barrel. He was small enough and it was dark enough for such a hiding place to work. If he stayed quiet then he might get to see his family again, though they might not see him. He watched the swords and medical kit in the middle of the floor, and occasionally glancing at the open cell door every now and again.
Teesie
Isaan glanced around as he heard small whispers of someone speaking in a clipped form. Once the chocolate orbs glanced to his father, the white haired teen wondered why his father was acting as if everything was normal. "Who's there?" The elder twin asked, rubbing the shaved part of his head with massaging digits. The pain was bringing on a dull head-ache and Isaan was seriously tired of feeling the effects of a broken link. Aheal glanced to his son and placed a finger to his lips, a gesture to tell the other to be quiet. Isaan shook his head as he grabbed the man's arm and frowned. "Someone just told us to go to the cell up ahead for defense. Those two girls was not helping us, the Demoni was just relocating us." The father of the twin stopped in his tracks and glanced to his son with a curious look. "Maybe you're right, but let's go anyway. The worst scenario would be a battle with the evil demonic*beings, but we'd have that anyways." The man announced as he walked forward. The cellulars were surrounded in darkness and it made the weaponry stand out. The gleam from the shell cases and all brightly glistening from the polish. "Seems whoever told you such information was being helpful." Aheal confirmed, running in to grab a weapon. Isaan, though still a little skeptical, dashed after his father to grab a weapon to defend himself. It was a bit surprising that the door to the metal cell stayed opened and not closed once the two of them were inside. Now that, that was done, the broader twin could fight the demonic being while escaping with his father.
Guest cheshireArtist
"Maybe you're right, but let's go anyway. The worst scenario would be a battle with the evil demonic beings, but we'd have that anyways." Ruu frowned in the shadows at his father's words, since he knew for a fact not all those with demonic blood are evil. After he fell he learned that things like that were such a stereotype it wasn't even funny. The only reason that they believed that all demons were evil was because they only met the bad ones, same thing with fallen. Heck, Ruune was scared of Astaat, Rosa and Maria at first, when he still hung onto old beliefs. Sometimes he wondered how his brother would be acting in his position, on the outside looking in. Frankly, he had to hold his tongue right now, lest he try to talk to them. 'Leave...go straight...right...up stairs. You're on basement floor 7...top floor...exit,' The silver haired boy sent through the link again, a little frustrated at how unclear it sounded, but knew it was for the best. After a second he added, 'Be care...guards...don't wake the...faction leaders.' The teen stared on, studding his twin and father. Aheal looked older, and more tired, though that might just be the situation. Isaan, on the other hand, seemed a bit...different? It was odd, but Ruu could tell something about his twin's personality had shifted, it seemed...darker, more chaotic? The boy wasn't sure how to describe it, but it was strange, but all the caring nature that used to be present in his elder twin seemed to have disappeared, or at least was well hidden. Maybe he was just reading too into things.
Teesie
Isaan looked around once more to peeking outside the cell's door and frowning. A glance to his father let the white haired teen know that his father was oblivious to the voice once again. It was strange how he could hear the clipped voice, but his father couldn't. "Um, the voice said that we should exit and go straight. There are stairs that lead upstairs, but we should be quiet because there are....Fac-tion leader?" The name for the higher ranked demonic beings were rather weird. Taking a small step outside the door, the white haired teen frowned slightly when he couldn't see a thing. It was frustration enough that the pain wouldn't go away. This would definitely falter his fighting ability. So he'd be quiet as best as he could, there was no way that he could go through this with the disadvantage he had. "Are you feeling any better?" The father asked, seriously worried for his son. The teen could be at a big disadvantage with the amount of pain his son was going through. Aheal had a strange power to be able and take upon the fraction of one's pain. It was kind of useful in battle. It let him know how much another was hurting and how critical it was. Therefor, he could find one's weak spot. It was something that took years to learn but definitely worth it. Isaan only breathed heavily and shook his head before his feet bumped into a staircase. Climbing up the stairway, the white haired teen was not watching ahead, keeping his eyes on the stairs to not fall. What he didn't notice was that Astaat was siting in the dark and was surprised to see him. At a more accurate look, she pulled at the alarm causing the white haired male to look up and stumble back. Due to Aheal catching the other, there wasn't any damage done. "You kids will pay for letting these officials out. How could you all!" She spoke loud enough, hoping that he students would hear her. Guest cheshireArtist
Ruu jumped at the alarm, racing out of the empty cell, and nearly knocked over the twin. They all exchanged looks of panic and fear. They've been found out! Shit! Rosa gripped her sister's hand tightly, and Maria bit her lip. "Who tripped the alarm?" The eldest twin girl asked, voice high in panic. "You kids will pay for letting these officials out. How could you all!" The faint yell answered their question, and all looked at each other wide eyed. "I was sure she was asleep when I took the keys," Rosa muttered, a look of disbelief written on her face, "What are we going to do?" Maria gritted her teeth, and pulled her ax off her back. "We fight, guards will be down here soon and Astaat knows it was us," She growled, eyes flashing red, "We just need to keep them off of those angels while they escape." "You don't think we'll have to fight her, do you guys?" Ruu asked softly, pale green eyes averting to the ground. He felt horrible for pulling his friends into this, and he didn't think any of them would have the skill to take Astaat down...not that any of them wanted to; they loved her like a mother. "Traitors!" A voice of an anonymous guard shouted, looked like they where all ready found out. Soon the trio was surrounded by enemies, with little hope of escape. Rosa raised her fists, brass knuckles shining in the low light, Maria raised her ax, growling almost ferally, and Ruune quickly unsheathed his dueling daggers. "It was a pleasure fighting beside you two," The smallest of the three muttered, shooting them a weak smile, "I'm sorry I got you two into this mess." "Don't be sorry-" Rosa began, as she normally does. "What are friends for," Maria finished, and then added, "Plus, who says we'll loose." And so with that, the fight for the three teen's lives began. Teesie
Isaan had long ago gained his balance again and was giving the woman in front if them a nasty glare. She had not exposed there escape and was standing in the way of their leave. Though Isaan was suffering, he'd still take the woman on and beat her to an inch of her life, if not kill her. Aheal on the other hand only stared. The man knew exactly who this was and was surprised to see the woman's face. She had definitely changed. From acting as if she did not know who he was to being a member of the Demoni group. "Isaan, this woman is your aunt. The one that...brought your mother to...suicide." Isaan was not surprised, the woman looked like his mother a lot, but that wouldn't stop him from beating the woman. She was in the Demoni and he wouldn't hold back. "Well I hate to have to fight her, but she lost father. She can't be helped." The woman let out a laugh as she stood in a stance, shield guarding her as her mace was gripped tightly in her other hand. "Well, it's nice to have a family reunion. So, let's have the best that we could." Astaat said, giving a small smile.
Guest cheshireArtist
The fight was violent, and the three knew that their fellow Demoni members had no mercy. Maria pulled her ax from some unfortunate soul's head, ignoring the splattered blood and brain matter, and took a swing at another. She blocked a sword swung at her with her arm, and kicked the offender away with a swift blow to the stomach. She smirked, loving the thrill of battle, even despite the circumstances. She glanced at her sister, glad to see she was holding her own nicely, and then at Ruu, who was also managing well. She smirked when she saw Rosa hit a fucker in the jaw, effectively shattering the bone. She loved see her tamer half fight. Ruu ducked a swing at his head and shoved a dagger deep into his opponent's stomach, and then sliced across. It was gross to say the least, but immobilized and spelled certain death to the victim. The silver haired boy whipped around, blocking an other attack with his second blade. Know he couldn't hold it for long the teen elbowed the Demoni member in the nose with a loud crunch, causing the other to scream and drop his weapon to hold his face. The fallen swiftly stabbed the demon in the heart. He felt a little sick to see the man's face freeze in a shocked look before falling over limp on the ground. Soon the enemies were wavering, and there where only a few left. None of them had too bad of injuries, so this was turning out to be a winning fight for Ruune...that was until Rosa let out a scream of pain. Rosa hit the ground hard, blood beginning to puddle around her head. Seeing that Maria flew into a rage, jumping the woman who delivered the near fatal blow to her twin, growling and snarling with demonic furry. She hacked and hacked until the full demon below her was a bloody pulp, no one touched her sister! No one! No one! NO ONE!! Horns began to form on her head and her eyes glew a fiery red-orange with each strike as her demonic side became more and more apparent. She then turned to the remaining enemies, attacking them with much vigor. Ruu wisely stayed out the half-demon's war path, and went to tend to Rosa's injuries, hoping that in her furry Maria didn't attack him. He didn't want to fight his friend. Teesie
Isaan sneered as his hand went to grab at his stomach. A sharp pain had now seemed to want to fuck with him. A groan was released and due to Aheal not being not being mentally ready for a fight, Astaat seen her opening and rushed at the white haired boy. The shield bashed his chest, causing him to let out another groan as he fell to the floor. The woman seen her chance and swung the mace down to embed it into the other's chest, knowing it would crush the rib cage and puncture his heart. One hit from the mace was definitely fatal. Though inches from coming in contact with her nephew's flesh, Aheal quickly snatched his son back by his article of clothing. Isaan's was slid across the slippery floor, the mace missing by a few inches. Astaat quickly glanced at the man and delivered a kick, though it wasn't very successful. The dyed hair male grabbed at the ankle and forcefully twist her, the body of the female twisting and falling to the floor. As Aheal stomped at her, she rolled over and swept her leg across the area, coming in contact with the man's. The force managed to sweep the man off his feet, causing a tumble down the stairs to injury. Both the son and father let out a groan, but from different reasons; although it was pain none the less. "Isaan, get a hold of yourself. You can't let Ruune pull you down even now." The man voiced, averting his attention back to the female who let out a battle cry. Astaat was pouncing to them both with the mace ready to crush their bones. Both Aheal and Isaan rolled over and forced a kick around, both coming in contact with her stomach. A moan of pain was released as her weapons dropped. Though, she would not lose just yet. Grabbing a blade from her pocket, she rushed over to stabbed the father in the neck. The father of the twins wrestling with the woman to not be punctured with what seemed to be a poisonous knife. Isaan weakly stood and rushed for the mace over his weapon that he had on his person. Picking the heavy weapon up with both hands, the smaller of the three struggled to hold it as he made a swing at the woman's head. A sickening splatter was heard as he mace dug into her skull. A dull thump reigning through the room as Astaat fell over. Isaan pulled his father off the floor and gestured to the staircase. "Hurry, let's go." the two disappeared upstairs as the Faction leader laid on the floor, dying from the fight.
Guest cheshireArtist
Maria had calmed down and now, sine the threat was temporarily gone, she knelt on the floor next to Ruune, watching as he tended to her sister. His hands glew lavender with the basic diagnosis spell as he assessed the head injury. It wasn't too bad, but something was strange about it that made him worry. Slipping a potion from the pouch on his side the boy pressed it to Rosa's lips, massaging her throat to get the half-demon to swallow. It would help with pain and a concussion, but there wasn't much else he could do until the got somewhere safer. Maria, versed in a bit of medical practice herself, bandaged her older sister's head. The girl felt a few tears roll down her cheeks, she hated seeing her other half hurt...it made her feel like a child again, and utterly useless. That's why she took up fighting, Rosa had always protected her growing up so now it was time for Maria to protect the other. Ruu helped get his unconscious friend up onto her sister's back and the dark haired half-demon adjusted the elder girl on her back, opting to keep her blood soaked ax to her side. "Let's go find somewhere safer than this, they'll be sending others soon...we need to get out of her just as much as those angels," The girl said, taking on her twin's serious tone rather than her normal cocky one. "Listen, Maria...I'm sorry, I should have never-" "Shut up, Ruu, what's done is done, so let's just get going," She snapped, orange eyes meeting pale green. The boy nodded timidly, and the two pushed forward, aware that enemies could be around every corner. The two happened onto a scene that both hoped to never see. Their mentor, hero, and mother figure was laying on the cold, dungeon floors, dying from a wound to the head. The silver haired teen rushed to Astaat's side, a sob racked his body as he examined the dying woman's wound, logically he knew with his merger training he couldn't save her, but that wasn't going to stop him from trying. Muttering a soft spell under his breath his hands glew a pale red, and he placed them against the massive, bloody wound. She was still alive, barely, but she was still breathing at least. He bit deeply into his cheek as he slowly mended the damaged flesh and bone, the pain from the pain transference of the spell was excruciating, but he just kept going. He let off a soft groan but kept the spell up as it turned a darker and darker red, showing just how bad the head wound really was. Maria frowned as she watched her teammate fight a loosing battle at this point, their mentor was dying, but Ruu was stubborn and just hurting himself at this point. "I-I'm sorry, pl-please don't die, please, I'm sorry," The small teen sobbed out, both from sorry and pain.
