Ignorance Isn't Bliss

The chewing stopped as the fry was swallowed and devoured. Chocolate eyes once again glanced up to the source of noise closest to the white haired teen and slightly bucked. "Duh idiot. I kno' I gotta' carry ya'. I jus' thought maybe ya' missed flyin'." Taking a number of fries between his fingers, some dropping back into the plate. Once again devouring the food, Isaan sighed. "How long do ya' depend ta' live down here?" Engrossed in the answer, but not averting his eyes to the fallen angel.

The noise was really getting to the angel as he was only use to quiet places. Part of being an official member was to listen before one spoke. It wore on the white haired male and now listening to all the ruckus was deafening. Importance was all Isaan talked of, idle chit-chat was useless. If the teen was to ask something it was for information to keep. If the angel was to be involved in a conversation he would hardly speak. The most he would say is when pissed and ramble off all that he had heard. That fact had gotten many officials killed for speaking against the gods and all. Isaan never regretted it because that person had pissed him off.

"How long do ya' depend ta' live down here?"

Ruu blushed slightly at being called an idiot, and looked down at his lap. At the question he shrugged, "Angelo and Kay haven't sent out an estimate yet, so it can be a few months or a few years, no one really knows," He explained, sneaking one of the elder twin's fries, he was a little hungry himself, but unlike Isaan he could wait until they got home. With the officials looking for the entire Neutral Zone Ruune was betting on years himself, but he didn't want to really share that guess with his twin. Ruu had no idea what set the other off anymore.

Ruune quickly put the fry he stole in his mouth, and glanced up at his twin. He really didn't have much to talk about on his end of things, and was just listening to the idle chit-chat around him. He did this a lot when bar tending, he'd normally be washing the counter or preparing a drink and find a conversation that seemed interesting and just listen in. Sadly there was nothing particularly interesting at the moment.

Isaan chocolate orbs stared to the other for a long moment, thoughts running through his head slowly. There was something that the white-haired male could tell the other but why would he- the thoughts of the Realm Officials planning his life out was what shut the elder twin's thoughts off. Giving a loud groan audible enough for all in the club to hear, Isaan decided to talk.

"I warn you all to stay here for a very long time. The officials won't give up so don't let anything convince you all to go back there. In months maybe even the Human Zone will be destroyed. The officials are up to more than you all have found out. Killing all half breeds is not all that was planned. I...just hope all are prepared for the judgment day...which is what their calling their plan. The one to destroy all beings. It's quite funny right?"

Smiling wickedly to his brother with a bite to his lip. Though the officials had ran his life the white-haired male couldn't see a real reson to hate them. The older male was surely pissed, but nothing bad really happened to him, so it never really matters...not as much as Arish or any of the others made it seem like. "You should thank me brother. Now maybe you and all your little Neutral Zone friends could live."

Ruune stared at his twin wide eyed, before quickly grabbing the other's arm and tugging him out of the fight club with more strength than he seemed to possess. Okay...a lot of looks they were getting were pretty murderous now, and while he did not doubt his twin's skill and strength as a fighter, he did doubt that his brother could take down a club full of people.

Dragging the elder twin into an alleyway to make sure that no one else would hear their conversation. "Brother...I don't doubt you can fight...I don't doubt that you can kick anyone's ass in a one on one fight, but there were at least fifty people in there and they looked like they all wanted to kill you after you said that...," Ruu scowled at the white haired twin and sighed, "There is a time and place for everything...do you even think?"

The smaller teen pinched the bridge of his nose, and closed his eyes. It was obvious that Isaan had seriously changed since Ruu's fall, and trying to figure out the other was frustrating beyond hell. One minute the other can be caring like he used to be, and then the next he was either replaced by this overly confident, cocky persona, or this blood thirsty asshole. Why was his brother being replaced by this perfect Goddamn stranger?! Was this his fault, because he would sure as would like to fix it if it was! Frustration, confusion and sadness permeated the link from Ruu, he just wasn't sure what to do anymore!

The white haired teen cackled at the other's worry and waved his left hand in a dismissal way. "I don' giva' damn wat' they heard. Obviously ya' don' have to much confidence in my skills. I coulda' taken on all those weaklin's by myself. Have ya' forgotten what I do fa' a livin'. I kill people Ruune, more than that in a one on one~" He said, the last bit in a teasing tone to meddle with the statement that the younger twin stated.

Pulling his arm away from the other, the elder white-haired teen sighed before placing both hands behind his head. "Fuck these people an' their shitty ways. I ain't here ta' make friends Ruune." A thumping sound beginning to echo through the halls as Isaan stomped the shoes onto the surface of the ground for no apparent reason. "We go fa' a fly or not?" Taking another stab at the pink flesh of his lips with the canine teeth for to quench of bloodlust.

Ruune felt his eye twitch slightly, Isaan was way to over confident for his own health. He watched his twin start to stomp as he walked and it made his eye twitch again...and people used to call Ruu the childish one...that is bull shit...real bull shit. Swallowing back and comments that wanted to pass his lips and gave the other a close eyed smile. "Okay, anything you want to do, Isaan," He said calmly, pushing back his worry and fustration. At least flying with his brother will be fun...then again from what he could remember the white haired twin liked to do tricks. It's too late to backout now, though...he really didn't want the elder twin wondering off alone, since he had proven to the younger that his cockiness could get him killed.

The smaller sighed and caught up with his twin. "It's not that I doubt your ability...I just worry about you. I can worry about my own brother, can't I?" The smaller mumbled, looking up into his twin's chocolate eyes, hoping Isaan would understand that Ruu worried because he cared about him, not because he doubted him.

The eldest twin sighed, a bit of blood leaking from his lip before being snagged away by a pink muscle. Chocolate orbs rolled slightly as Isaan stopped walking to glance to the smaller, more petit teen. "Ion' need anymore people ta' worry 'bout me. Dad iz' more than enough an' it gets borin'. I cou'd neva' do shit I wanted because I'm the youngest of this and that. Clearly I don' mean you an' me. I'm meaning in the officials. They always treat me like a kid. Yet, the bastards neva' found out who killed the family of demons that was so precious ta' them. Ya' wanna' kno' who did it? Me, I did." Pursing his lips as he leaned against a wall and began to pat at his pants pockets.

The white-haired teen slid down the wall, depending on getting a little comfortable. The thumping in his head felt as if one was hitting a sledge hammer against the skull to get to the brain. Pathetic sympathy as well as pity was something that the elder twin hated, but one thing that was mostly despised by Isaan was worry. Ruune had all the rights to feel that way, but it didn't mean that the eldest would exactly enjoy it. Those feelings were basically useless and insanely stupid. Well, to the older brother it was.

Ruu sighed and sat down next to his twin. "I can't really just stop, you know...even when we were appart I worried...I'm sorry that it annoys you, but you can't just stop an emotion. But then again you can call me a hypocrite because I don't like it when people worry about me, mostly because I know it stress them out," The silver haired teen said, and then took a breath before admitting something that been on his mind for the past couple hours, "But to worry is there to show we care for one another...and what scares me about you, brother, is that you don't worry, and you don't seem to care about anyone. I feel as if I dropped dead right now, or father dropped dead, that you could care less."

The boy sighed and tensed slightly, preparing himself for his twin to throw a fit, to yell and scream, and heck, maybe even hit him. It was kind of sad, he used to feel as if he could tell Isaan just about anything...but now he felt like he couldn't tell the elder twin anything without Isaan flipping out. He missed his brother...not this temperamental stranger.

There was not one sound that flowed through the tunnel, but the dripping of water that made its way through some way. The chocolate eyes were staring to the object of his emotions at the moment. Confusion and curiosity flowing through every inch of the taller twin's veins. After moments of silence was given, with exception of the water, a low chuckle forced it's way from Isaan's lips. The elder brother smiling to the other in a menacing way, yet again.

"Feelings and emotions are all aspects that gets in the way of the real problem. It never helps to feel for anyone. One could never be strong enough if always panicking and crying over everything. So maybe you're right. I never thought of that before. It's more so a cause that I could care less about. Although, you are more than wrong. I do care for you and my father." Sighing as he stood once again.

"Then show me you care at least, Isaan...," Ruu begged as he stood up as well. There was a lot more that the smaller wanted to say, but he was holding back at this point...he didn't want Isaan to be angry with him...but there was one more thing he wanted to say before dropping the topic completely. "Show me my brother...not this stranger," There, he finally admitted it. He wanted to see Isaan for who he was, not what the Officials had made him to be. He could have said a lot more, but he thought that sufficed. He didn't want to push his brother.

The silver haired boy sighed, and leaned back against the alley wall. Tilting his head back he stared at the lights that covered the ceiling of the underground city...he needed a distraction.

The white haired teen glanced up to the other with chocolate eyes that were engraved with absolute amusement. The emotion didn't escape the confides of his mouth through laughter or nothing else that could let off the feeling. Isaan shook his head at Ruune, stretching his limbs slightly, all the while letting off soft groans from the release of tension his body was holding in.

"You're jus' too funny. I'm tha' Isaan that you see. Tha' same one you knew when younger so don' come ta' me with that fairytales shit. I am who I am brother. I've matured in many ways that I see you haven't. I'm much stronger and dat's all dat' matters. On the account of showin' my feelings I don' get you. I show ya' every fuckin' minute we are ta'gether. Do ya' think I'd waste my time to talk to someone fa' absolutely nothin'? I even offered ta' take you flyin'." Narrowing his chocolate orbs in his brother's direction.

Ruune had to bite down rather hard on the inside of his cheek to argue the matured comment, at least Ruu didn't throw tantrums when ever he was pissed. Maybe the silver haired twin was only frustrated because he couldn't read the other anymore, but Isaan could still read him like a book. That was just not fair! Under the elder twin's stare the smaller flinched, and looked down at his shoes. "Just...forget I said anything," The tiny teen said meekly, maybe he was only thinking about this because he was still a little hurt by his father having to force his twin brother to come help the younger when he was in pain...that Isaan wouldn't come on his own. Then again, they weren't as close anymore, and Ruu even found himself annoying sometimes, so he didn't even blame Isaan.

"Should of just kept my mouth shut...why am I so stupid?" The smaller muttered under his breath, not meaning for the elder twin to hear. It was a habit he got into the more he grew into his teenage years, talking down to himself, calling himself stupid, weak or annoying, it was all pretty normal by now.

Isaan released a long breath, the doses of stress taking over. Ruune was being such a baby, to the elder teen, and Isaan found it a bit annoying. That reason being because the other was accusing him of things that the older male was still capable of. One that comes in the form of an feeling that none could describe, better known as love. It was just difficult to read his emotions, though it never meant he wasn't feeling any. Emotions were honestly a weakening aspect of life and the older brother had learned that from The Foundation of AhJ, The Angel House of Judgement.

Isaan darted his vision through the city outskirts, biting harshly into his lips again. After suckling a bit of blood, the egotistic twin smiled wickley to Ruune once more. "Wat' tha hell do we do now?" Waiting for the other to answer him, even though he heard what the other was mumbling to himself. A hand reached up to comb through the silver locks. "You're right? Why didja' even ask dat'?" Just teasing the other softly.

When Isaan ran a hand through the smaller's hair it strangely made Ruune feel a bit better. Little gestures like that always reassured the younger twin...maybe it was just because Ruu liked affection, but it did put him at ease. He blushed slightly, ignoring his twin's teasing, "How about we go do that flying idea...and come back to the fight club tomorrow. I can make you supper tonight, anything you want," He answered, glancing up at Isaan's chocolate eyes. Even though the topic was going away for now, the smaller had a feeling that it was just going to come up again later. He wanted to ignore that for now, though...he'd much rather just spend a little time with his brother, and maybe learn how to read him again. Being able to read the other teen again would just make his life so much easier.

To be honest the silver haired boy was a little nervous about flying with his twin. When they were younger he liked to do lots and lots of tricks. His favorite seemed to be the flip...dear God he hoped he didn't do that while holding him, Ruu might get sick...or got into a panic attack, which ever came first. He knew the other wouldn't drop him, but still, it would still be a little scary.

The elder twin was surely ready to go through with what the other was suggesting. Time for arguments was over, Isaan had been ready to take flight from yesterday, or whenever the time was before falling asleep. A breath of sigh was released as the older brother grabbed a hold of the other pale teen to have Ruune follow him. "It's 'bout time ya' stop runnin' dat' cute little mouth of yours." The tone was teasing, with a bit of annoyance.

Thoughts were skating through the official's head, as he was unsure as to what to tell the other. The favor came to the white haired teen keeping all information to himself. Spilling the secret to saving all the Neutral Zone citizens was more than enough, and to be honest Isaan thought he deserved a prize. Those others had given the angel murderous glares and glances when he was the one to save their pathetic lives. Ones who pissed him off never got it good in the end. It would be wise for the people in the city to be nice to the angel or there was no telling what the upset teen would tell. It could endanger those of even his relatives.

Ruu huddled a bit closer to Isaan. He glanced up at the elder twin occasionally, trying to study the other's face. Might as well start now, it would take a lot of practice, since the white haired twin seemed to be on par with their father, or at least almost there. The smaller was patient and observant, well patient for the most part at least. Minutes passed quietly as they walked, and the smaller was beginning to piece feelings from the link and small changes in the other's expression together. A slight narrowing of the eyes, and a twitch of the eye brows meant annoyance, and when a slight smirk would appear on the other's lips it meant Isaan was being smug in his head again. With those being some of the only two highly predominant emotions, along with a bit of anger, which was pretty similar to annoyance at this point. Happy with his progress Ruu decided to try something that calmed the other down when he got angry when they were younger.

The small teen tentatively rubbed the area of the elder twin's back that was between the wing, being extremely careful not to actually touch the white haired twin's wings. Even when they were younger Isaan had a violent temper, and when he came home ranting about something or someone Ruune would just sit down next to him, rub his back, and listen. He bit back a small frown, Isaan's muscles were pretty tense, signalling that he had a lot of built up stress or frustration.

The path seemed different each time he took it to exit the tunnels. It was as if there was some sort of magician that changed around the geographical substances, but in this situation it was a mind game. There was so many turns that one would think they were in a maze, which wasn't that far off a guess. It could confuse anyone at any point in time, but with Isaan having such a good memory, the path was not so difficult to remember, even if the tricks were still playing in his mind.

A slight tough to his juncture between his two largely white wings, Isaan jumped before slamming Ruune against the wall. Chocolate eyes were widened and engraved with defensive murder. Nothing changed in moments, until the chocolate orbs settle back to average size and the dimness was returning. Suddenly a smile was given to the younger teen as the pale hands of the elder twin wrapped around the other's waist.

"I almost killed you. You should be careful, although I do admit....that you made me a bit horny." The older male said, biting into his lips again.

Ruune swore to God his heart stopped for a split second, pale green eyes huge with shock as he quickly tried to regain his breath. He was thoroughly surprised he did not get a panic attack from that. His heart pounded in his chest rather loudly, and his legs shook a little. He was never touching Isaan's back again...nope, never doing that again, he would have to do something else because that scared the shit out of the smaller twin.

"I almost killed you. You should be careful, although I do admit....that you made me a bit horny."

At that and the hands placed on his waist Ruune went from near panic attack to highly embarrassed, blushing quite darkly. "I-I didn't...I um...I," Was all he managed to get out, before looking down, accidentally chewing a little too hard on his lip, drawing blood. The silver haired twin looked back up into chocolate eyes, before shyly looking down again; he had no idea what to do or say.

The heart rate of the older teen's sped up as he slowly trailed his chocolate eyes to the lips of his brother's. There was blood staining the pink flesh and Isaan wanted it, and he wanted it now. Leaning forward, the pink muscles left the confides of his mouth to swipe across the red substance lingering on Ruune's lips. Sucking the other's bottom lip into his mouth, the white haired teen nibbled and pulled at the flesh. The fallen angel was more appetizing that the other would think, hence why Isaan didn't pull away just yet.

Taking a final swipe at the pinkish lip, the eldest took a step back before continuing to rim his own mouth with his tongue, gathering any blood that would be left there. The chocolate eyes were dazed, although showed a bit or an arousing state. Ruune had gained his interest now, maybe because of the different blood taste. It was much different than any other he had ever tasted and that was saying something. "Your delicious."

As the elder twin licked and lapped at the blood on Ruune's lip the smaller twin could not help but let out a soft whimpering moan. It sent a shiver of pleasure down the silver haired twin's spine. At first he wasn't quite sure why his twin was doing this, but then again why would he care, just as long as it was happening. But this could only be a one time thing, since Isaan was a bit weird to begin with. That made the smaller a little sad, especially when the white haired twin pulled away, but he pushed back the feeling and looked up at the other with a slightly dazed look. Isaan wasn't the only one aroused now.

"Your delicious."

At the comment Ruu ducked his head again, face still flushed with both arousal and embarrassment. He couldn't help but feel like Isaan could just be manipulating Ruu's feelings for him at this point, he did know his brother liked to be in control of things.

The elder brother was seriously rethinking whether he should molest his twin brother of go for a flight. At this point the latter won, but only because the younger seemed yet so embarrassed over the little encounter. Taking a hold of the other's hand, Isaan began to adamantly pull the smaller teen along side him as he walked to the exit of the tunnel's entrance.

"Well if we leave here...I gotta' say dat' you sir, shou'd be careful. If anything was to happen...I'll fight them off. I've been itchin' fa' a battle since forever now." Giving what seemed to be an eager smile, after opening the secret passage to lead into the door to the bar. Stepping through, footsteps light in case of other searchers, Isaan walked to the oak wood material to exit. A brief glance around told that no one was currently here, though at a whiff of familiar scent, the elder twin could tell that one had been here.

"Seems as if the search begun. I have much to tell you." Chocolate orbs focusing on his brother behind him.

Ruu sighed and shook his head slightly, well, it looked as if Isaan was seriously underestimating the smaller of the two. Then again he had good reason since the younger had always been known to not be much of a fighter, but while Ruune didn't like to fight didn't mean he didn't know how. He was once in the Demoni, and his former mentor was Astaat, that should speak for itself...but he would rather not argue so he kept his mouth shut. Though, if there was a fight the silver haired boy was not standing by idly, he didn't want Isaan to get hurt after all; his brother may not realize it, but the white haired twin was not invincible just because of a rather quick healing ability. He was just glad he pocketed one of his smaller knives before they left.

"Seems as if the search begun. I have much to tell you."

The pale eyed boy looked up from his thoughts, giving the other his full attention. If a search had started they shouldn't be up here, but he didn't voice this opinion since there was truly no arguing with Isaan sometimes. Ruu didn't want another fight.

Isaan watched the teen and could already tell, by the look Ruune was giving, what the other was thinking. Isaan waved his hand in dismissal and smiled. "Oh don' worry. The officials were mos' likely serachin' fa' father and I. You people have 'bout ...Uh, three month left for judgement day so listen. As I jus' stated, three months will be mos' likely what some wou'd call Armageddon. In reality, it's jus' tha' higher ups killin' off as many species as they can. Sort of like a genocide. I'm helping you when I say that you all should stay hidden for nearly so the rest of your lives. Now, if it wasn't for a search me and father was on, we wouldn't even know wat' you all were up to. Fa' the plan to be interacted, we wanted to personally take out a group of people ........... Seems as if the Demoni has returned."

The elder brother explained, as he tightened his gloves. "And they're much stronger than usual."

Ruune's expression through out the explanation ranged from shock to a bit of anger to horror. Two questions rang in his head; one, why would the Officials want to commit genocide? What was the motive behind wiping out an entire species? Ruu knew the history behind the founding of the Realm Officials, and it was to protect the innocents and to keep a control on crime...so why kill a bunch of innocent people. And the second was how was the Demoni back? That question answered itself...Fasu. The small fallen knew that man would try to bring back the Demoni...he should have let Maria go after him like she wanted.

"Fasu's leading it now...I know he is, that bastard loves torture too much to give it up...," Ruune mumbled under his breath, a bit of hate for the demon flashing in his eyes. Besides Sir, Fasu was the only one who the boy had ever hated...such a cruel, heartless man.

The pale green eyed boy looked up at Isaan, "I've just been wondering...why are the Realm Officials doing this? Weren't they formed to protect people? Why are they planning to commit genocide?" He asked, he really wanted to know...it was a question that had been nagging him. When did the Officials go from being the good guys to being the bad guys?

At the expressions flashing across the smaller male's face, Isaan could tell that it was the first time that the other had heard of the information. Seems as if the people of the Neutral Zone was not steadily keeping up on what was around them. Seems a bit selfish when one thought of it. Even though all the other realms looked down upon them, the Neutrel Zone could have been nice enough to warn all the others.

"You're right. Fasu may be this leader of the new rising Demoni. Don't you all think that you all should warn them? The information sure could save them." Smiling to the younger twin with a small, menacing smile. Then afterwards the white-haired male laughed to the other. Chocolate orbs stared into the pale green eyes, a smile slithering across his lips. Ruune was so cute and clueless at times.

"Ruune, Ruune, Ruune. As if this evil world could have such good people. It's for the better of the next generation. This place...is made up of all....all worthless, low-life people. All the officials are doing Ruune....is destroying all that. This world is damned. You should know that." Isaan explained, looking totally serious.
