"Does me being naked unnerve you? I'm sorry, I'm so used to being naked around servants it doesn't occur to me that some may be embarrassed by it." Aria replied, his clothing in his hand. Giving the elf a small, apologetic smile, cheeks still a faint pink. The prince backed up a bit, turning his back to the elf, pulling his clothing on. "You should tell me when I make you uncomfortable doing things like that." he stated, he didn't want to scare his servant off because of his careless actions. Once he was dressed he turned to look at Duvain, pulling his hair out of his clothing.

Duvain let out a slight smile and shook his head. “It's alright, I wouldn't call myself... Uncomfortable with this. If you are used to being this way around your servants, I will be able to get used as well, my lord.“ The elf said quietly as he watched the prince get dressed. A small part of him was a bit disappointed that he wouldn't be able to see Aria's delicate skin anymore, and he honestly wanted to slap himself for that thought. He was a warrior and this was his enemy...

"I'm glad I haven't made you uncomfortable, that would make me feel bad." Aria replied, smiling up at the other male. "Do you know how to braid hair?" he questioned, walking over to his vanity to pick up his brush. Running it through his long hair, getting the knots out of it. Hoping that the eld did know how to braid hair, he didn't want to have a servant do it and id he did, it always ended up crooked. Plus, it would be nice to have Duvain braid it for him.

Duvain nodded slightly at the question. "Yes, I know how to do that much." He answered softly as he took the brush from the prince's hands. "Could you sit down somewhere?" He asked quietly as he waited. The elf usually left his hair loose like that - he didn't even have time to do much more... Besides, he'd probably look ridiculous if he was to braid or even tie up his hair.

"You can? That's good to hear, I like to have my hair braided occasionally and when I do it myself it always turns out looking strange." Aria responded, allowing the elf to take his brush. The prince pulled the stool away from the vanity and sat down on it, pushing his hair behind his back so that Duvain could brush it. "You don't have to worry about being too rough, it doesn't bother me to have my hair pulled." he informed his servant, he didn't want the other male worrying about hurting him in anyway.

Duvain let a small smile appear when the prince told him he could be "rough". The elf shook his head when Aria sat down. It wouldn't be of any problem for him to be a bit more gentle... The blonde slowly began brushing the other's hair, his expression returning to the emotionless one like always. Duvain's eyes, however, showed softness and kindness in them. These emotions were usually hidden, but somehow, the prince managed to get them to show. The elf kept on brushing Aria's hair until they were soft as silk, then began braiding them.

Aria's eyes fluttered closed when he felt the brush start to run through his hair, remaining still for the elf. It really did feel nice to have Duvain braid his hair, even if the touches were light he found himself rather enjoying them. It was a shame he wasn't able to see the soft look in the other's eyes with the way he was sitting, it would have made him very happy to see it. The prince absently toyed with his own fingers, a small smile forming on his own feature as his hair was brushed and braided.

Duvain let out a low hum when he was done. “I'm done.“ He informed the other as he pulled away. The elf was actually trying to make thw braiding last longer... He enjoyed the feeling of Aria's hair and he wanted to feel it just a little bit longer. The softened look in his eyes didn't seem to disappear while he was looking at Aria. Somehow, he was feeling extremely calm and collected... For a few moments he even forgot he was on a mission to kill this very prince in front of him. For the first time in his life he began questioning himself if he'd really be able to do it.

Aria slowly opened his eyes when he heard Duvain inform him that he was finished, turning slightly to look up at the elf. Smiling kindly at him when he saw the soft look, it was such a wonderful thing to see since typically the other had an emotionless mask on. "I could brush your hair." he suggested, he wanted to spend a little more time alone with his servant. The fairy rose to his feet, gaze focused on the older male, hoping that he would allow him to brush his hair. Badly wanting to touch it the way the other had touched his own.

Duvain shook his head before letting out a nearly invisible smile. "You don't have to, I already took care of them, my lord." He said quietly, yet for some reason he had this warm feeling inside his chest when he heard Aria ask for that... The elf tilted his head and looked at the prince. "Is there anything else you need to do before you eat, my lord?" The blonde asked softly, and suddenly an image of the other being stabbed by Duvain appeared in his mind. He didn't know what caused it - maybe the thoughts he's been having, maybe the soft, kind look on Aria's face... Yet one thing he knew for sure - that view wasn't a pleasant one at all... He didn't want to see it in reality.

"Aw, alright." Aria replied, the disappointment in his voice when the elf had informed him that he already brushed out his hair. Although he was disappointed that he couldn't touch his servants hair, but the small smile was nice to see and it made his own smile a bit larger. "I don't think there's anything else I need to do before breakfast, is there anything at all that you need before hand?" he questioned, wanting to make the time alone last a little longer.

Duvain shook his head and looked at the prince. “No, I'm ready to go whenever you are, my lord.“ He answered quietly while trying to regain his composture. The blonde wasn't feeling like himself, just how did he even have a thought about not killing an enemy of his race. Maybe he should just get it over with and kill Aria tonight? Even if he didn't manage to kill the king or queen, even if he died while trying, he knew he had to at least kill the prince... It was going to happen tonight.

"Alright." Aria responded, standing there for a moment longer. "What happened to calling me by my name while we're alone, Duvain?" he questioned. The prince had noticed that the other seemed a bit distracted by something, but didn't want to bother him about it for the moment. So instead he chose to ask about something that was on his own mind, he kind of liked it when Duvain called him by his name and was already missing it. Not many people called him his name, only his parents did. He was completely unaware of the inner tor moil that the elf was in, but it was better he didn't.

Duvain blinked a few times and let out a small sigh. “Excuse me for forgetting...“ He said softly and looked at the prince. The blonde managed an apologetic smile as he watched Aria. “Shall we go to eat now, Aria?“ Duvain asked softly, not wanting to raise any further suspicions. If the faery found out about him before tonight, it wouldn't bring either of them any good. The worst thing was that all Aria had to do was see his tattoo and he'd be finished. He was too close to failing...

"It's alright, I know it might take a while for you to get use to it." Aria said, wings fluttering slightly when he saw the apologetic smile. "Yes, lets go eat. For this meal, you won't see my parents. We eat at different times." he said, smiling at the elf, he turned and walked out of his room. Knowing that Duvain would follow behind him. "You'll be able to eat breakfast soon after me, because after breakfast is when I take my lessons and I don't think I really need you there while I'm learning." he said, glancing back at his servant.

Duvain nodded at the prince's words and followed him. The elf listened to Aria while feeling some weird feeling in his chest. He'd felt it only once before, as far as he could remember. Guilt. The image of the faery dead just couldn't leave Duvain's mind. It seemed to be right in front of his eyes and he was feeling bad about it, he honestly didn't want to do it this time... Why was it now? Why was it with the most important mission he's ever gotten in his life? The blonde let out a small sigh just before Aria glanced back at him. The blonde nodded lightly in understandment as his blue eyes showed a small hint of sadness.

Aria paused in walking when he had noticed the sadness, he turned on his heal and walked over to to Duvain, looking into the elf's eye. "What's on your mind? You seem a little off this morning, like something is really bothering he said." he said, a small worried frown on his features. He'd been trying to ignore it up until now, but it was getting hard to pretend he didn't notice. The prince hoped that his asking wouldn't upset the elf anymore than he already was, he just wanted to help his servant. Aria raised his hand and placed it on Duvain's cheek, looking up at the taller male, hoping that he would answer him and not just push it off.

Duvain nearly flinched when the other talked. He really had to get a grip on all this! A soft sigh escaped the elf's mouth and he closed his eyes when feeling Aria's hand on his cheek. "Today's the anniversary of my brother's death." He said quietly. It wasn't even a lie, he'd just... Forgotten about it. When the fact that he wouldn't be able to visit his grave this year hit him, the blonde felt as if he was about to be tossed down from a tall building. He opened his eyes slightly and looked at the prince. "I'm sorry if my behaviour bothered you. I just couldn't seem to forget..."

Aria gaze up at Duvain, head tilting slightly whe he heard the sigh escape. Watching as the other's eyes slipped closed, "Oh, I'm so sorry. I can understand why it would bother you so much." he responded, feeling bad that he'd have to make the other follow him around all day when he was hurting so much. It wasn't something he would do if he had a choice, he'd rather let Duvain go do whatever would make him cheer up a little. "It doesn't bother me, I was just worried about you. Is there anything I can do that would make you feel better?"

Duvain managed to make a small smile appear on his face and shook his head. "You shouldn't worry about me. I'll be alright, Aria." He said softly and lightly pulled away so the prince's hand would be off his cheek. The area which it was on felt as if it was burning... The blonde looked at the shorter male with sorrow in his eyes. He felt as if he was broken in every way possible... He was failing the mission, he wasn't able to visit his brother's grave, and he knew that he was showing way too many emotions to Aria. Just how come he couldn't stop?

Aria let out a sigh of himself when he saw the small smile, knowing it wasn't sincere. "I do worry about you, you don't deserve to be unhappy. I wish there was something I could do to help you feel better." he said, slowly lowering his hand when the elf pulled away from him. "Sorry, I guess I shouldn't touch you." he said softly, attention focused on Duvain as the other male looked back at him. It was har for him to see the pain and sorrow in the man's eyes, knowing he couldn't helo the older male in any way. "Are you sure that I can't do anything for you?"

Don't deserve to be unhappy? I've killed innocent people... I had to kill children. Duvain thought to himself with a small frown on his face. When the prince said such a thing about not touching him, the elf let out a small sigh. He couldn't agree, but he couldn't disagree as well. As Aria asked the same question again, the blond shook his head. "No, I really will be okay. You should go and eat, you've got a day to get through..." The elf said quietly as he kept his eyes on the prince. Today might just be the last day he saw him...

Aria clasped his own hands together, keeping his gaze on the man in front of him. "I wish I could help.." he said softly, he didn't understand the pain that the other was going through. He'd never lost anyone before, his family was intact, he didn't have any siblings nor did he have anyone else close to him. So he would, as far a he knew, never experience the pain that Duvain was going through. Which made it a bit hard for him to think of a way to make the older male feel better. "If you're sure.." he said, turning around to head down the hall.

Duvain didn't say anything else. He just followed the faery with light steps and heavy heart. The elf felt really guilty about everything, absolutely everything he's done bad... How did Aria manage to get him to feel that way? The blue-eyed male lightly bit his lip as he followed his master, keeping his eyes on the graceful figure in front of him. The blonde trailed his eyes over every single feature of Aria and frowned slightly. He wanted to see him for more than one day, but this was a faery! An enemy... Or at least that was what Duvain was supposed to see him as.

"I was thinking that maybe I should take my breakfast in the garden, there's a little gazebo I like to eat in sometimes. That way, once they bring the food, we'll be alone and you can eat with me instead of waiting until I'm off somewhere else to eat. Plus this way, you can eat something better than the plain food they give the servants." Aria said, glancing back at Duvain, smiling kindly at the other male. He was trying to think of ways he could help cheer the other male up a little, without getting either of them in trouble with his father.
