Duvain wished that the other hadn't offered such a thing. Being alone with the prince was definitely not good for him... Still, the elf nodded as he looked at Aria. "Of course, if that is what you want." He said softly as his eyes stopped at the kind smile. What kind of an expression might the prince have when he's killed? Will it be shock? Pain? Sorrow? Or will it be the same kind, warm smile?.. The elf knew he'd find out soon enough... Maybe even too soon.

Aria's smile brightened up a bit when Duvain nodded and agreed to eat alone with him, "I hope you'll enjoy eating in the garden." he said, looking ahead of himself as he walked. Heading down the long stair case, stepping onto the floor once he reached the end of it. Walking down the hallway to the bathroom, "I'm gonna talk to some of the servants, to have them move the food out to the gazebo. You stay out here." he said before walking into the kitchen, it wouldn't take long to talk to his servants.

Duvain nodded yet again. As he watched the prince walk off, the elf let out a sigh and leaned back against the wall. Something was definitely wrong with him. He was sure of it, yet he had no idea on how to deal with that. The blonde bit his lip as all the thoughts he's been having from yesterday's night filled up his mind. He went through everything, trying to realize what caused such a change in his behavior, but nothing. The blue eyes opened with a hint of irritation in them, yet it was soon gone. He had to calm down and clear his mind... Everything would be alright...

Aria walked out of the kitchen a few minutes later and headed back over to Duvain, looking up at the taller male. "The servants are taking everything outside, they should probably be done by the time that we get out there." he said, gazing up at the other male. The prince was looking forward to spending the morning alone with Duvain, it was nice to be with the other male. Wings starting to flutter, so he was hovering a bit off the ground.

Duvain let out a slight smile when the prince came back. "That's good to hear. Shall we go then?" He asked softly as he watched the other's wings starting to flutter. Not so long ago the wings looked disgusting to him, now he couldn't keep his eyes off them... How did it change so fast? The elf looked at Aria with a slightly softened look as he waited for him to lead the elf to the garden. If anything, he just hoped nothing bad happened.

Aria returned the smiled and nodded his head, "Yes, we shall." he said, happy that the other appeared to cheer up a little when he notice the soft look on the other's face. The prince turned around, flying down the hall, heading towards the doors. "This hould be nice." he said softly as the front doors were opened, making his way out of them and towards the large, maze like garden.

Duvain quietly followed the other, watching him fly through the hall. His steps were fast enough to keep up with the prince, and he managed to stay quiet as ever. When the doors opened and the elf saw what was outside... He was shocked, no less than that. His blue orbs quickly trailed through eveything as he tried to take in as much as he could. This was... Beautiful.

"Isn't it lovely? It's one of my favorite spots in the castle, it's always comforting to come here. I hope you like it just as much as I do." Aria said, turning slightly to look towards the elf. "If you like it we could come out here to eat breakfast everyday." he suggested, clearly planning for the future. Fully expecting to have Duvain around for a long time, he looked towards the elf before turning again, heading into the massive garden.

Aria's words hit the blonde like a knife. Every day?... How come the prince could even trust him? Still, Duvain nodded and smiled. “I would enjoy that...“ He said quietly as he took a step into the garden. “Where is the place you will be eating at?“ Duvain asked quietly as he turned back to the faery. His eyes seemed to be soft and slightly sad, and Duvain couldn't say he was used to knowing he looked like that... Some people said he was ice cold, but truth was, he wanted warmth just like everyone else... He just tried to lie to himself and say it wasn't true.

Aria smiled brightly when Duvain told him he would enjoy eating breakfast with him, "You would? I'm happy to hear that." he said truthfully, wings fluttering a bit faster, causing him to hover a little further off the ground than before. "Oh, I'll show you there. Be sure to remember where we're going, or you could get lost. This place is built as a maze on purpose." he informed the other male, "Cheer up, Duvain." he said, turning, starting to head into the ground. Hoping that he was cheering the other up and distracting him from the fact it was his anniversary of his brother's death.

Duvain nodded and followed the other, not letting his eyes off Aria's figure for even a moment. He kept on looking around, making sure to remember each turn they both took so any other time they had to go-... Right, it wouldn't happen ever again... The elf bit his lip, yet still continued to look around the maze, deciding to at least try to push those thoughts into the corner of his mind. "How long does your lesson usually take?" Duvain asked softly as his gaze fixated back on the prince.

The fairy folded his arms behind his back, under his wings and out of their way. Happily leading the elf through the large garden, he was sure that Duvain would he able to remember his way through without a problem. It seemed to be that way with everything he showed him, the elf had a really good memory. Aria was very happy, thinking about the time that he woul get to pen with his servant. "About four or five hours, it all depends on me. I've learned all I need to be a king, what I learn now is simply because I like to learn." he responded, looking toward Duvain when they arrived at the beautiful gazebo. Their breakfast set out on the table for them, with a small serving cart with more in case the prince wanted anything else.

Duvain tilted his head. "That's pretty long... Do you get any breaks from the lesson?" He asked just before they entered the gazebo. The elf was stunned by the view, actually. His blue eyes widened only slightly, though he didn't let anything else show. "You have very good taste, my lord." The blonde complimented and looked at the one he was adressing. His lips curled into a thin smile as he took a few steps forward and pulled out the chair to let Aria sit down. He decided that it was best if he could just be like a real servant on the last day... Maybe even let the faery calm down... Though what was the point of it?

"Yes, I take a fifteen minute break every hour. It wouldn't be much fun if I was cooped up in a room for four hours without a break to relax." Aria responded, slowly landing on his feet, wings slowing to a stop. They folded behind his back, he turned to look towards Duvain. "I'm glad you think so, at least I know you'll enjoy your meals out here with me." he said, smiling when his servant pulled his chair out. The prince sat down in it, "I hope you like the food that was prepared."

Duvain tilted his head and nodded with a smile on his face when the prince talked. He waited until Aria had sat down, then walked to the other side of the table and quietly sat down on the chair, watching the faery. "I am most certainly not picky with food, so I'm sure I'll enjoy whatever is served here, my lord." The blonde said softly as he leaned back against the chair. "Could you perhaps tell me about your lessons? I'm curious as of what do faeries learn about ruling..."

Aria's attention focused on Duvain when he walked around the table and sat across from him, he nodded his head when informed the elf wasn't picky. The fairy lifted the covers off their food and poured their drinks, setting the covers on the car. "Well, currently I'm learning to read and right many different languages, I'm learning the history of demons and angels. I'm also learning politics.. Though I'm not good at it yet, teacher says I'm too nice about things." he responded, taking a bite of his food.

Duvain let out a sad smile about the faery's comment about being too nice. That was completely true - Aria probably couldn't even do anything bad to someone who was about to kill him... Though the elf would be able to find out about that pretty soon. "Politics is a very important thing in ruling, that's true..." He said softly as he reached out to eat his own food. The blue eyes closed for a few moments so he would be able to take in the flavour. Not bad at all!

"I know it's important, but I have such a hard time being assertive." Aria admitted, he knew he was a bit too soft, it was something he really needed to work on. The prince couldn't bring himself to hurt or hate anyone, he believed everyone deserved more than just one chance. "Dad says I need to toughen up, Always telling me I'm too queenly and not enough like a prince." he murmured, a slight pout on his feature, taking another bite of food.

Duvain let out a quiet chuckle at the other's pout. "I'm certain that it will come if you want it enough. Besides, why can't a prince be "queenly"? I believe you should be free to do as you like, my lord." The elf said softly as he continued eating the meal. "And anyway, toughening up isn't always a good thing. It can bring a lot of misfortune not only to you, but to your whole family as well..." The blonde said quietly and closed his eyes again. This was meant more to him than to Aria.

Aria's pout faded away when he heard the chuckle, he smiled in response to the soft laughter. "Dad says no one will take me seriously if I stay as as soft as I am.. I personally don't understand it, I don't think people treat me weirdly because of my behavior... Either that or I just don't notice." he said, mood light, it did bother him a bit that his father wasn't happy with who he was, but he wouldn't let it get to him. "How so..?" he questioned, observing the elf, he was worried he had somehow upset the elf.

Duvain let out a sad smile and shook his head. "Happened to someone I knew. He tried to be as tough as possible, even forgetting about his family... He had a life ahead of him, and then took one mission because he thought he'd be strong enough. He failed to make even the first step..." Duvain said with the same sad smile. He was talking about himself at this point. This mission - he was supposed to do it just like all the others before... And yet, each decicion he made only brought him closer and closer to failure.

Aria blinked when he saw the sad smile, placing his fork down. Pretty purple eye filling with sadne a he listened to Duvain speak, he didn't realize that the elf was speaking about himself, but what he'd been told was saddening and he felt bad for the person he assumed was his servants friend. ".. Is he okay now..? Because, it seems like your acquaintance has realized that the mission or strength isn't as important as his family or his own life.. I hope he was able to pick up the piece and start over." he said, gazing across the table at the other.

Duvain tilted his head and shook it. "No one's heard of him since the moment he knew the mission failed." He said, because he knew that'd be true. If he failed this mission, he would be killed... Or put into a prison. Either way, he would never come back to his family and friends, he wouldn't be able to even go back into his kingdom. The blonde looked at Aria and let out a small smile. "Please, don't mind this. You should eat, my lord." He said softly as he put in another bite of the food into his mouth.

"That's very unfortunate.. I hope that he's alright.." Aria said softly, it was saddening that someone had to go through so much. The prince really was hoping that one day, the 'strangers' life would get better and he would he able to return to his family and friends. "I can't help but mind, it's sad to hear about someone going through something like that and suffering so much." he said softly, slowly taking another bite. Although he couldn't help but think about it, he would drop the subject since Duvain seemed to be uncomfortable with continuing it.

Duvain let out a small sigh. The faery prince really was way too kind and nice for his own good... How could he pity someone just like this? Aria knew nothing of who Duvain was telling off... And still, the faery was genuinely upset and worried. The blonde didn't find enough strength in him to answer the other... He was only able to continue eating with visible sadness in his eyes. Just how many hours were there left with the prince? How many minutes? Seconds? Whatever the number was, the elf knew one thing. It was too little.
