It didn't take very long for them to gather their things up, as they hadn't been there long enough to actually get situated, and were soon boarding a train that led back to headquarters, Lavi once again chattering happily, totally oblivious to the fact that it seemed neither Allen nor Kanda were paying him any attention. Almost immediately after getting on the train, Kanda falls asleep, and Lavi gets a nasty grin on his face. He crawls over to him, and reaches out to take Kanda's silky hair in his hand, and begins to braid it.

Allen looks over and can't contain a snicker though he immediately stifled it. "If he wakes up and tries to kill you, you're on your own." Allen whispered as he curled up against the window, Timcampy resting on his shoulder.

"Shh!!!" Lavi grins at Allen, before finishing off braiding Kanda's long hair, and stifles his own laugh at the end result. He scuttles away from the sleeping form of Kanda, and moves next to Allen, determined to play some kind of prank on him as well. He waits for when no doubt Allen falls asleep, and pulls out a black marker, drawing a curly mustache on his face, as well as a goatee, and funny eyes over his eyelids, with small triangles on his cheeks. On his forehead he writes the word 'Baka'. He laughs quietly, and caps the marker, his sides hurting from holding back his laughter.

Allen didn't mean to doze off, he just found that one minute he was awake watching Lavi pull pranks on Kanda and the next he was floating in a world of dreams.

Lavi gets another idea, then scuttles back over to the seat Kanda was on, pulling the cap off of the marker, and begins to draw on Kanda's face as well, a heart on his left cheek, and what looked like a cat face on his right cheek. When he started on the forehead, he had to pause, as Kanda stirred slightly, and his breath catches in his throat, but Kanda didn't wake up. He sighs in relief, before continuing, drawing a rainbow across his forehead.

When he was finished, he caps the marker a second time, and stands up, looking from Kanda with his braided hair, cat, star, and rainbow, to Allen, with a face drawn on his face. He begins to chuckle, and had to leave the room quickly, and once he had, he cracks up laughing, unable to hold it in any longer.

(What's with the super short posts?)

Kanda stirs in his sleep, and then wakes up slowly, yawning as he did, and looks around to see that Lavi was no longer in the compartment, and his eyes land on Allen's face, his eyes widening at what was drawn all over. He had a bad feeling that Lavi had pulled his usual tricks again, and reaches to his own face, and sure enough, when he pulls his hand away, black was on his fingertips. He growls slightly, and wipes his face off using his sleeve, and feels that his hair felt different. He reaches back, and his eyes flare up when he could feel that it had been braided. "I...am so gonna kill him..." Kanda snarls, as he undoes the braid, but doesn't move. He would wait for Lavi to return, and then pommel the guy.

Allen blinks his eyes open, sitting up and looking around sleepily. He was oblivious to his own appearance as he looked at Kanda. He nearly laughed but managed to stop himself, knowing the samurai would not take kindly to it. "So, I'm guessing I should start digging Lavi's grave?" He asked with a smile.

"Yes. Right when we get back to headquarters..." He snarls, a twitching forming in his eye. He raises his sleeve to his face again, and wipes away the rest of the marker, so his face no longer had any black on it. That was just about it. He has had enough of Lavi's stupid pranks. "Yes...he is so dead...I'm gonna kill him..." He repeats, and stares at the door, waiting for Lavi to return.

Allen shook his head with a sigh and stood up. He walked over to Kanda and sat next to the samurai. He reached and gently began undoing the braid Lavi had made. Once the males hair was free, he gently combed out tangles with his fingers before moving back to his seat, still unaware of his own appearance. Timcampy, spying the marker on his master face, flew over and began licking at Allen's cheek, trying to get it off. Allen tried to fend off his golem, bewildered expression on his face.

"Tim- What..? Why are you licking at my face?!"

Kanda stiffens slightly when Allen walked over to him, sat down, and began unbraiding his hair, his eye twitching, but he doesn't say or do anything, though it was obvious he was fighting the urge to punch Allen, his hands were clenched in his lap, and they were curled into fists. He only relaxes once Allen was finished messing with his hair and returns to his own seat, and looks at the white haired boy when Timcampy begins to lick his face. "I wasn't the only one that Lavi messed with, he drew on your face too. Look..." He points at a mirror that was set in the door, and then looks out the window.

Allen blinked then did as the samurai instructed. When he did, a short laugh escaped him as he began to wipe at the black with his sleeve. "I can't say I'm surprised." The white-haired boy said as he continued to clean his face of the marker.

(Sorry for the short reply. I just had my feels broken into tiny little pieces Q-Q)

Kanda simply smirks, continuing to stare out the window, and eventually dozes off, though he wasn't completely asleep. He was waiting for Lavi to return, and once he had...Oh how that red-head was going to get it. Kanda didn't have to wait much longer, as he hears the compartment door slide open, and once it shut again, Kanda attacks, knocking Lavi out in an instant. Lavi falls to the ground in a heap, and if there were, stars or tweeting birds would be circling his head. Kanda lets out a satisfied smile, before sitting down, and staring out the window once again, smirking.

Allen watched, biting back a smile as Lavi came into the compartment, completely oblivious about his impending demise. Only when Lavi was passed out on the floor did Allen laugh, covering his mouth his hand. He then was struck by and idea and snickered as he rummaged through Lavi's pockets, soon finding what he was looking for. He looked up at Kanda with a small smile. He wordlessly held out the permanent marker to Kanda, looking out the window.

Kanda looks at Allen, his eyes leaving the window, and stares at the marker in the boy's hand. A smile spreads across his lips, but it was far from friendly. More like evil, crazy, and a bit scary to look at, a glint in Kanda's eye. Payback time. He takes the marker from Allen, and opens it, before moving from his seat to kneel down next to the unconscious Lavi, and begins to draw all over Lavi's face, though his drawing kind of sucked. He just drew swirls and stuff, but it still was hilarious when he was finished. He sits back to look at his handiwork, and begins to laugh, something that he normally didn't do.

Allen watched out of the corner of his eye as Kanda smiled evilly and took the marker from his hand. He looked back out the window, happy he had appeased the samurai slightly. And besides, the white-haired boy was doing it for a bit of revenge as well. Normally he simply ignored the red-heads pranks though he always steered clear of the red-head when he pulled pranks on Kanda, not wanting to be caught in the cross-fire. Up to this point Lavi has never really pulled any pranks on the young exorcist so that he has, Allen is going to enjoy the little bit of revenge.

He looked over when he heard Kanda laugh, surprised at the sound. It was a pleasant sound and Allen thought the samurai should do it more often. He looked down to see what made the normally icy man laugh and couldn't help the chuckles that escaped him as he looked down at Lavi's face. Allen smiled and looked back out the window, patiently waiting for the red-head to wake up though, judging from how hard Kanda hit it, it would be awhile.

Kanda stands up from his kneeling position, after slipping the marker into his pocket, and goes over to his seat, sitting down with a satisfied smirk upon his lips. Yes, payback was a bitch wasn't it? He glances over at Allen, a tiny bubble forming in his gut, something he hadn't felt before when he looked at the white haired boy. He frowns slightly, and quickly looks out the window, not sure why he felt like that...It felt weird. Shaking his head, he sighs, and waits for the train ride to be over, though they had just started the trip back, so it would be a while until they got there. Probably around dinner time.

But still...what was going on? Even though Lavi and Kamui had said not to worry, Yu couldn't help but worry, something wasn't right. He looks at Allen again, and wonders if he thought the same thing. "Allen? What do you think of what happened? I think it's weird how there were a lot of Akuma, only to have them all disappear in one night..."

Allen glanced over at Kanda, surprised that one: the exorcist was actually speaking to him first and trying to start a conversation and two: he called him by his name, not Short Stack or Beansprout. Allen shifted until he was facing the samurai, pondering his question. "I'm not sure. It's really unusual for them to just vanish like that. I'm worried that the Earl is planning something. I just hope we're prepared when it happens."

"Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well..." He replies, frowning. Something of this scale just had to spell bad news from the Earl.avi stirs slightly from his spot on the floor, and Kanda's attention turn to the red head, getting up from his seat and kneeling down next to him. Lavi's eyes begin to open, and he sits up groaning. "Oh man, what happened? It felt like I was hit with a hammer!" He then looks up at Kanda, a scared look on his face, the expression on Kanda's face was creepy. A"Maybe you'll think next time before you pull a prank on someone!" Lavi frowns, and looks in the mirror on the door and gasps, but didn't get much time awake as next thing he knew, Kanda had knocked him out once again.

Allen watched the scene play out before shaking his head with a smile. "You're lucky his head is hard otherwise you'll give him more brain damage than he already has." The white-haired boy stated as he grinned down at the unconscious Lavi. Looks like the train ride home will be peaceful.

Kanda shrugs, and gets up from where he was kneeling, and taking a seat on the bench. He was just glad to get a little payback on the redhead. He glances over at Allen, only to look away once more when he felt those bubbles in his stomach again. What the heck was going on? He sighs to himself, and looks out the window, deciding that while Lavi was unconscious he'd take the opportunity to take a nap. He was still tired from the night before as it was, and in no time he was soon fast asleep.

Allen watched as Kanda turned to the window and then shortly after fell asleep. He just sighed and shook his head. He contemplated trying to get Lavi into the seat but his shoulder and ribs still hurt quite baldly so he quickly dismissed the idea. He stood and exited the compartment, closing the door gently behind him and walking to the back of the train. He leaned against the railing after he stepped outside, staring up at the sky as the train raced by.

It was about an hour later when Kanda awoke, sitting up from laying sideways on the bench, and stretches, yawning, wincing slightly as his back popped, it still was aching from that crash he had taken from being slammed into the grave marker. He looks to where Allen had been last, and notices that the white haired boy was gone, and he frowns slightly. He then looks over to Lavi, who was still out of it, and Kanda smirks. Well, one thing was good, he didn't have the chance to prank Kanda again. Standing up quietly, he leaves the compartment, and wanders around, wondering where Allen might be.

Allen ran a hand through his hair, sighing again. Suddenly, Timcampy pops out from the white-haired boys jacket. Allen blinked in surprise before gasping and lunging forward, barely managing to catch the golem before he could be blown away. Allen gripped the railing tight, almost hanging completely over it. He let out a yelp, struggling not to fall forward.

Kanda had made his way back to the back of the train, and his eyes widen as he sees Allen struggling to keep from falling over the railing. He hurries over to Allen, and grabs on to the back of Allen's jacket, tugging hard and pulling him away from the railing. "You need to be a little more careful Short Stack." Kanda mutters, before letting go of Allen's jacket, his hand falling to his side. He then looks out at the landscape that was rushing past, watching Allen from the corner of his eye.
