Yu ignores the whispers and murmuring as well, smiling as Allen sat down next to him. "Did you sleep well?" Kanda asks, before taking a bite of his noodles, watching Allen from the corner of his eye. A voice suddenly calls out, and the smile on Kanda's lips disappear. It was Lavi. "Oh wow Allen! Since when did Kanda start letting people sit wit him during m eals? Wow, you must feel mighty lucky!" Kanda stares straight ahead, trying not to punch the red head as he came over to hg Allen.

Allen swallowed his bit of food and was about to answer Kanda when he was interrupted. He looked over as Lavi came over and hugged the white-haired boy. "Well, maybe Kanda is in a good mood today." Allen suggested, glancing at the samurai out of the corner of his eye.

"Nah, that can't be it! Yu? In a good mood? Impossible! Or maybe...you and he are like, getting al-" His sentence was cut off when Yu whirls around, his hand clasping at the red-head's neck. "If you don't shut up and leave me alone, I'm going to make sure that this time I knock you out you never wake up again!" He snarls this, his eyes flashing angrily. He squeezes a bit at Lavi's neck, Lavi's face soon becoming almost as red as his hair. "A-A-Alright...let-go-of-me!!!" He sputters, his face now turning purple. Kanda releases him, and Lavi stumbles backwards, rubbing at his neck. "Geeze, I guess I was right! Kanda can NEVER be in a good mood!" Lavi walks away, still rubbing at his neck. Yu turns back around, and sighs. "He gets on my nerves so badly..." Kanda mutters, before taking a bite of his food.

Allen gently rubbed the top of Kanda's hand under the table out of sight, hoping to calm down the man. "He's just being Lavi. He doesn't think before he speaks." Allen said softly, giving the samurai a soft smile as he began to eat again.

The spot upon his hand where Allen had rubbed tingles slightly, and Kanda sighs. His eyes close for a moment, before he opens them again, and takes a sip of his tea before looking at Allen from the corner of his eye. "Yeah, I guess you're right..." He murmurs, staring into the tea cup. "Though it doesn't change the fact that he pisses me off all the time..." He then continues, though his voice was low and sounded all mumbly. "The way he always hangs on you...it's annoying..."

Allen had to keep himself from blushing. It was kind of cute, seeing Kanda jealous. "Lavi's just really touchy-feely. You shouldn't worry, You're the only one for me." Allen said softly, smiling at the samurai as he soon finished his food and stacked the dishes neatly.

Kanda sighs, and looks at Allen. "Yeah...I guess you're right. Though it still bugs me when he does that...I can't help it." He had finished his own food before Allen had, and once Allen finished his food as well, he helps carry the dishes to the open window where Jerry takes them and puts them in a large sink. "I wonder what we do now...no missions...Hmm, I think I'm going to go meditate..." He glances at Allen. "If you want, you can join me, but no talking." He leaves the dining hall, whispers still flitting around about how weird Kanda was acting.

 

They reach a sort of dojo, and Kanda picks up a mat, before going into a separate room, setting it near the center, and then kneels down, closing his eyes, and taking a deep breath, before he lets his consciousness free, letting go of any worldly knowings, and allowing his mind to be blank.

Allen followed after the samurai, curious because he's never seen the male meditate before. He sat down against the wall, leaning against it. He gazed at the samurai, taking this chance to let his eyes run over his body. A blushed soon darkened his cheeks and he looked away, closing his eyes. He sat there for a moment then opened his eyes again, staring up at the ceiling. He soon became lost in thought.

After about an hour or so, Kanda's eyes open slowly, and he takes a deep breath, letting it out gently. He glances over at Allen, how had a spaced out look, and smiles slightly. He gets up from where he had been kneeling, and silently walks over to Allen, bending down slightly to press his lips against Allen's, and then backs away, wondering how Allen would react to what he had just done, since Allen was pretty much spaced out at the moment, lost in thoughts.

A small gasp escaped him as he was jerked back to reality when he felt lips press against his own. He blinked, looking at Kanda, who was a lot closer than before. "Wow, I was really out of it there. I didn't even notice you get up." He said with a small laugh.

"Well, duh. State the obvious why don't you?" Kanda says, smiling as he stands up straight. He holds out his hand to help Allen up to his feet, and once he had he lets go of the white haired boy's hand, still a little bit awkward about the whole love thing. Even though, he didn't deny that he felt things for Allen. "Well, I'm done now, so what do you want to do? Got any plans?"

Allen took Kanda's hand and climbed to his feet. "Hmmm, not really. With no mission it's kind of boring." He then smiled. "Oh dear, I've probably just jinxed myself and now something's bound to happen to me."

"Well then...what do you want to do?" He asks, smiling at the comment that Allen made about jinxing himself. "Don't worry, around here, anything is bound to happen." He then makes his way from the room, walking slowly, not really knowing what to do at that moment. Usually if he didn't have a mission to take care of he trained, but...He and Allen were in no condition to do that right then... He sighs, wondering what to do. He knew he wasn't a very fun guy... His mind flits to Lavi, and then at Allen.

Allen walked next to Kanda, pondering the samurai's question. Without any missions, the Order really didn't have anything else to do. Allen normally practiced his fighting but with the condition he was still in that wouldn't be a good thing to do at the moment. "Hmmm, I really can't think of anything."

Kanda sighs when Allen says he couldn't think of anything. He hated to do this but... "How about we go find Lavi? Then maybe he can come up with something for us to do...though he'd probably want to join us as well...I'll let him, but he'd better keep his hands off you..." He changes directions, and begins to walk towards where Lavi's room was. Once arriving, he knocks, but there is no answer. Knocking a second time, Kanda then opens the door, but the room was empty. Yu closes the door again, and sighs. "Great..."

Allen smiled slightly and followed after Kanda. when they reached Lavi's room Allen looked around. The bed hadn't been disturbed so he must not have been in here for a while. But where could the red-head be? Did Komui send him out on a mission? "Maybe he's in the library?" Allen suggested as he looked at Kanda.

"Yeah...maybe..." Kanda says, and looks around. They might as well check, but Kanda was thinking that Lavi might be with Bookman, working on something. They slowly make their way to the library, every now and then they could see people glance at them and start whispering loudly. Kanda sighs irritably, but ignores it pretty much. Kanda glances at Allen from the corner of his eye, and smiles. At least he had one thing that was good at this place...

Allen walked along beside Kanda as they headed to the library. He could hear the whispering increasing as they passed people but he really couldn't blame them. He would be surprised as well if he saw two people who he thought hated each other were walking down the hall together, or had actually eaten together. With Kanda and his past history being what it was, he wasn't really all that surprised that people were talking about it. He caught Kanda looking at him out of the corner of his eyes and sent him a small smile.

Kanda blushes, yes, blushes when Allen catches his eye, and smiles at the samurai. He turns his face slightly, to hide the faint pink color on his cheeks, and after a short while they arrive at the library. With one look they could see that Lavi wasn't there, they'd be able to spot the red-head almost anywhere, especially with hair like that. Kanda sighs, his cheeks still slightly pink from earlier. "Well now...where the heck could that dork be?" Kanda mutters, his eyes scanning the large library, and the many shelves that were in it.

Allen's smiled widened slightly. Who knew the icy and fierce Kanda could blush. Allen found he liked it and vowed to make the samurai blush more often. He joined him in looking around the library, becoming even more puzzled as Lavi was no where in sight. Where in the world could he be? "Maybe Bookman will know where he is?"

Kanda shrugs at Allen's comment. Maybe, but most likely Lavi was with Bookman, and they were working on something. Kanda sighs, and sits down on a chair that was set in front of a long table, stacks of books sitting in bunches on top of the table. "Yeah, maybe. But Lavi is probably with Bookman...And if that's the case we should just leave them be..." He sighs again, and leans his chin on his hand, resting his elbow on the table. He looks over at Allen, and felt bad for the boy. Why did he have to be so boring?

Allen joined Kanda at the table, realizing that he was right and if Lavi was with Bookman then they were probably working on something and wouldn't want to be disturbed. He propped his chin on his palm, trying to think of something they could do. A random idea came to him but he was hesitant to voice it. It was really childish and he wasn't at all sure if Kanda would be interested in anything like it. He bit his lip, looking at the table.

Kanda looks over at Allen, who seemed to have come up with some sort of idea, but for some reason was not telling him what it was. He raises an eyebrow, wondering just what was going on in that head of his, but shrugs. Maybe it was best not to ask, though he was, at that moment, up for any idea, no matter how stupid or silly it might sound. Anything was fine with him, just as long as it gave him something to do. He was tired of not doing anything, just sitting around...it was annoying.

Allen peaked up at Kanda, who looked annoyed. He sighed and took a deep breath, deciding to give his idea a go. "Kanda?...I-I have an idea as to what we could do but....it's of childish and I'm not sure if it's something you might do." He said hesitantly.
