This month theme shall be ''Do you remember?''.

YaoiOtaku decided to open a thread for people

that love music and love to write poems,

or simply song lyrics.

Giving chance to show your feelings

about the current theme and in general - how do you interpret it.

We have picked a certain song,

based on its melody you have to write down

either a poem or a song lyrics.

Of course,it's up to you how you name it,as long as you mention once

'Do You Remember?' in the content.

Post only one poem/song lyrics text.

No vulgar words, no racism, no religious, no political and no child/animal abuse themes.

Minimum 4 paragraphs, maximum 8 paragraphs.

Do not use the name of the song we give you as a title to your poem/song lyrics.

The theme of your masterpiece can be about anything,depends on what feelings you get when you listen to the melody. It's instrumental.

Post the final result on this thread.

The Old Times

you are very perfect for me.

my heart started to beat whenever you are near to me.

i'm always blushing whenever i see you smiling.

that moment was the very first time..

i started to fall in love with people.

but..i heard that you are going to leave me..

i was very sad.. i though that we're meant to be together.

i never though that my first love will be destroyed.

i see you cried that you heard your about to leave.

i think that your the one who are really in pain..

this will be the last time we see eachother..

i decided to force a smile..

i wanted to make you smile..

but i never can't...

please! atleast give me a chance!

i wanted to see your smile so bad..but i never can't..

I'm joining, too. This is my poem:

Morning Rain

The first raindrops began to tumble that day,

Pattering gently, steadily, quietly yet continuously onto the succulent green leaves

Of the branches of the trees that protected your former driveway

The day had yet to properly awaken

The chirpings of the earliest birds whispering to us as we gazed out into the shadowy world

A light breeze was whistling mournfully,

Sending the pearls of rain as a caress against our sleep-drunken faces

I wanted to remain inside where it was warm,

But the beauty of the stirring world mirrored in your poignant eyes

Had me following you out to greet the rousing dawn,

My face welcomed by the tender drizzle and the morning’s freshness

I breathed in and never before, it seemed, had I properly tasted the sweetness of a sunrise

Do?

You led the way as you wandered out into the brand new day,

Your naked feet dancing over the puddles holding Nature’s Gift of Life

Your smile as you stretched your arms out and twirled around to me

The watery beads surrounding your head like a sparkling halo that reflected the sleepy sun

Matched the dreamlike beauty of the promising blue-pink hue in the sky above

Its fingertips streaking across the firmament to chase away the darkness

You took my hand as we passed beneath those silently guarding trees

The steady, musical stream of raindrops cascading onto us gently

I close my eyes now and still hear its tinkling footsteps as it fell

Onto you and me and the damp, soft earth of the driveway

The droplets bouncing into the miniature pools and dispersing

As you led me into the world that was suddenly so mysteriously novel

You?

You planned to take me for a romantic walk, yet

We didn’t go far because a sadness unknownst to me suddenly overwhelmed you,

Standing in the middle of your garden with the brittle roses and sleepy daffodils

Your lovely smile grew into one of great sorrow

As you spied the little bird lying at the foot of that sturdy old oak

While all around us Life awoke and peered out into the timid daylight

All you could see was the solitary being no longer able to admire the first light’s beauty

And there under the unfaltering, muted earthward descent

Meant to cleanse the world of old pain, memories and hurt of a previous day

You knelt at the foot of that Quercus and cried for that little fledgling

Hearing neither the cheerily chirping chickadee nor the cleverly cowering cat-

You only had eyes for the Unlucky that was no more.

Remember?

And there in the rain,

My lungs expanding as I shivered from the cold

I realized exactly what you meant to me

Had I stayed inside where it was warm, I would not so soon have discovered

The kindness, magnitude and depth of your compassion

As I held you close, my arms and the rainfall knitting you a blanket

My heart constricted at the thought of your someday becoming my Doomed Bird

And my voice trembled as I whispered those three words into your ear for the first time

Now, years later, as the heavens open and my old friend the rain once more begins to tumble

I notice you’ve stopped to stare out the window as well and I wonder,

If that day is as ever present to you as it is to me, yet I dare not ask you

My Love,

Forever Tomorrow

Heed the wounded heart

and fall back to my arms

lay on a warmer bed -

away you from harms!

Howl of wind leap the face

pleasant cold feels cool

hear the heart and say -

"Sleep my child, forget all."

Whispers of daylight rays crept

makes it way into the chamber

some wild dawn begins to crack

a new day has appear!

Oh, do you remember?

The hovel is no more

this humdrum life is gone

no tears are shed anymore

hope just outside the door

days of humour - this is home.

Around fills with sound of rhyme

songs of joy amuse and shine

return us abandon the time

a lifelong that should be mine!

Will tomorrow come forever?

Adjourn those moments should never.

Will this sensations waver?

That is not for us to hold together.

Rest your dither, my dear

and chase away your fear

for tomorrow will come for sure.

Endless steps

In my dream I'm sure I saw it all

The petals that falling like snow drop again and again

When I one step behind you

Follow every step you take

With this helpless falling sensation

Endless end of spring

Maybe the petals that wither on the ground will be forgotten

Because it fly too far from the tree

I know I shouldn't be chase after you

But if I do it I won't remember you

And you won't remember me

When just a little bit close to you

When I try reach it just seems to fade away

But I won't let this take me down

Even with helpless falling sensation that full in me

I will continue to take every step you take and chase you

So one day when I get in front of you

I can say the thing that has forgotten

And ask if you do remember me

And you will feel this like the very first time we meet

In the storm of sakura in the end of spring
