Kenji flinched as the other embraced him again. Feeling Shiru's tongue run across his bottom lip made him shutter as it entered his mouth. Just seconds ago...he had gotten his first kiss.. and now He was having his first French kiss. He started to lightly pant as the kiss intensified. He jumped a little feeling Shiru's hand move up his shirt... as the other touched his four pack and up he shivered, the feel of Shiru's fingers in his hair gave him goosebumps. It felt so good... he had closed his eyes when the other kissed him. His tongue reacting to Shiru's but as he suddenly fell back on the bed He tensed, panicked slightly. He didn't think they'd go all the way. I mean yes he knew what to expect but that doesn't mean he wasn't nervous or scared. He pulled his lips away panting for air, a thin line of saliva connecting them.. as his eyes fluttered open.

He looked a little scared but so darn cute! With his flustered features.

Shiru looks down at Kenji's flushed face, his own eyes partly closed, a calm, taciturn expression upon his own face. His hand moves to clasp at Kenji's, and puts them above Kenji's head, his fingers lacing between Kenji's. "What's the matter?" He murmurs softly, his other hand still making a soft trail along Kenji's stomach. "If you're uncomfortable with this...I'll stop..." He moves so his lips were next to Kenji's ear. "But to tell the truth, now that I've got you here I don't want to..." He whispers this, his breath caressing Kenji's skin, and gently kisses Kenji's neck, just below his earlobe.

 

He could feel his own body beginning to heat up, his skin flushed by the longing to have Kenji all to himself. But he knew better than to press himself on anyone, even Kenji, whom he had been in love with since the beginning. He slowly gets up, releasing his grip upon Kenji's hand, and regrettably his hand leaves Kenji's skin. He backs away, his face still calm, as he stared at Kenji.

Feeling Shiru's breath on his ear made him clench his eyes shut, the hand that had clasped Kenji and held himself above his bed, intertwined its fingers with Shiru.

It was hard to breath, When the others warmth and touch treated to leave him, He felt himself panic. Opening his eyes again. He had always thought he'd have sex with the person who truly loved him...so...did Shiru love him?

Shiru blinks slightly when he felt Kanji clasp at his shirt, his blue eyes looking into Kenji's and he listens to what Kenji asks. A small smile forms upon his lips, and he leans back over Kenji once more, so his body was hovering above Kenji's. "If I didn't love you...then why would I be doing all this? I said before, I fell in love with the one from the orphanage...I fell in love with you..." He kisses Kenji softly on the lips, his fingers twining once more with Kenji's. "Even though I've had girlfriends, I just couldn't get my mind off you..."

 

He stares into Kenji's eyes, before reaching down and raising Kenji's shirt, and moving his lips to his stomach, making a trail of butterfly kisses along his skin, and slowly moves upward, from his stomach, up his side, to his chest, then collarbone, neck, jaw, the corner of his lips, and then full on lips. His tongue pushes into Kenji's mouth, caressing Kenji's tongue with his own. Yes...Shiru loved Kenji. He was the only one that Shiru had truly ever loved...

Kenji felt numb...as Shiru hovered over him once again..

This time he kissed the other back passionately. Desperately. He gently wrapped his arms around Shiru's neck..not wanting to let him go...

Shiru felt elated when Kenji did not pull back, but instead kisses Shiru back just as passionately as Shiru was kissing him, his heart filled with happiness. He pulls back a little, and taking a hold of the bottom of his shirt, pulls it off, leaving him bare-chested, his muscles rolling gently with each movement he took. He then leans down again, to press his lips once more upon Kenji's, the heart within his chest beginning to beat a little quicker. His breath was speeding up as well, as the kiss shared becomes more and more passionate.

 

His hands begin to roam along Kenji's body, slipping along his upper torso, caressing his skin, making a trail with his fingers. One hand slips downwards, and tracing along the edge of Kenji's pants, before taking a hold of the button and undoing it, as well as the zipper, then slips his hand in Kenji's pants, his hand resting gently on the area just above his groin. He could feel the heat from Kenji's body with his fingers, it was definitely enjoyable. Pulling back for a breath, he looks into Kenji's eyes, and smiles. "So...how far do you want to go?" He then goes to his closet, and grabs a pair of lounge pants, and throws them to Kenji. "Here, these will be more comfortable to sleep in."

 

He goes back over to Kenji, and places one last kiss upon his lips, before backing away. "Get some sleep. I'll still be here when you wake up, so don't worry. And the forecast is that it's going to rain tomorrow too, so I'll give you a ride. When you're out, call me and I'll pick you up to. Good night." He grabs Kenji's back pack, and then leaves the room, closing the door behind him, as well as dimming the lights. He goes downstairs, and sits upon the couch in the large living room, and begins to fix up the bag, and in little to no time at all, the bag looked brand new once again.

Shiru's eyes fell...maybe he shouldn't have said that. He now regretted it deeply. He watched as Shiru pulled away from him. What was Kenji doing? He was no good for Shiru...

As the other kissed him, He no longer had the strength to kiss back... He caught the lounge pants Shiru tossed at him, as he sat up putting his shirt on...

Screw school... he didn't care about that...the other seemed to be in a rush to leave..so Kenji didn't mention he didn't have a phone. He just nodded As the other left. He didn't even know Shiru's number, but it's not like he'd call. He had to work anyway. So he didn't mind running in the rain...

As soon as his crush left He changed out if his pants, and quickly went to sleep..wanting this day to be over...

 

So much had happened. Shiru actually noticed him, stood up for him, got suspended for him. He even gave him a ride when it was raining and...this happened. His lips had touched Shiru's. His warm tongue had rubbed against Shiru's! He hid under the covers recalling it blushing faintly...His first kiss was with Shiru... a lot of strange things had happened, and it was hard to believe he was at the center of it all.

Later that night, after Shiru had fixed the bag, he returns to the bedroom, where Shiru was most likely asleep by now. He smiles at the sleeping figure of the guy he was so in love with, before changing into some plain black pajama pants. After having searched through Kenji's bag, he found his phone, and put his number within Kenji's contact list. He sets the bag down on the desk, as well as a clean set of clothes, consisting of a dark grey and black shirt, a black and white sip up hooded sweater, blue jeans, and socks/underwear. After all this had been done does Shiru slip under the covers next to Kenji, gently wrapping his arm around Kenji's shoulders, and holding him close.

 

He kisses the small spot beneath Kenji's ear, and then buries his head in the crook of the back of Kenji's neck, before taking a deep breath, closing his eyes, and falling asleep. His dreams for the first time in a long time, were calm, and not filled with darkness or pain. Maybe it was because Kenji was there, maybe it was because he was exhausted...but he wasn't complaining either way. And, when it was morning, the rain was still falling, it was dark as the alarm went off, but Shiru was too tired, and didn't wake up.

Kenji was fast asleep.He was a quiet sleeper and looked adorable asleep..

He tossed slight, feeling Shiru wrap his arms around him and kiss him.. Kenji was so warm and rather small againest the other. Just image how happy and shocked he'd be when he woke up!

 

{Next Day}

Kenji opened his eyes hearing the alarm. He brought his hand to his eye rubbing it and yawning. He flinched feeling another person againest him and faintly blushed realizing it was Shiru, He casually sat up not wanting to wake him and turned off the alarm...

Shiru wasn't going to be at school today...that thought saddened him as he slowly pulled away getting out of the bed. Glancing back at Shiru's sleeping face...

he's so cute when he's sleeping..

He thought seeing the clothes Shiru had laid out for him... He went over to get dressed. It was nice to wake up and see that you were not alone...

Day 211: Shadows Everywhere

 

Only when Kenji sat up did Shiru stir, and after a few moments his eyes slowly opened. At first things were a little blurred, but after blinking a few times thing began to clear up to him. He sits up slowly, and yawns, shivering slightly from the chill air against his bare skin, as he wasn't wearing a shirt at that moment. He looks over at Kenji, who was already dressed, and a smile forms on his lips. "Hey, good morning." Shiru says, before yawning widely. He gets up from the bed, and goes over to Kenji, taking a gentle hold of Kenji's chin and brushing his lips lightly against Kenji's.

 

"If you want, I can make you some breakfast..." Shiru says, yawning again. He stretches, his arms over his head, and his muscles flexing as he did so. He lets out a satisfied sigh as his back pops, and then looks over at Kenji again. "So, about that breakfast. Anything in particular you fond of? Or do you want me to make you something as a surprise?" He smiles, before grabbing a robe that was hanging from a hook on the back of the bathroom door, and slips it on, leaving it hanging open.

Kenji turned hearing Shiru's voice. He blushed seeing his shirtless crush.

"M-morning."

He looked at the ground, that bad habit he did when he was nervous.

As Shiru came over to him and took his chin brushing his lips against Kenji's... the boy blushed even more.

"If you want, I can make you some breakfast..."[/Quote]

Kenji was captivated by his crush being shirtless and flexing. He was so cute yawning... He spaced out.

"So, about that breakfast. Anything in particular you fond of? Or do you want me to make you something as a surprise?"[/Quote]

Kenji snapped out of it hearing Shiru's voice again.

He said looking back at the ground.

"I don't usually eat breakfast anyway. Y-You don't....have to go that far..for me"

He said a little sadly.

He wondered what the two of them were now...we're they boyfriend and boyfriend? L-lovers even???

"But I want to. And besides..." He pokes at Kenji's skinny form. "You need to eat more." He grins and then heads towards the kitchen, yawning again, he was still a little tired, but was glad to be doing things for Kenji, who definitely needed it. He starts up the fire on the stove, as well as turns the oven on, and a few minutes later the scent of eggs, bacon, and biscuits filled the air. He hums to himself, and puts the food onto a plate, setting it on the large table in the next room, as well as pouring a glass of milk, and setting silverware down.

 

"You ready to eat?" Shiru calls, setting down a tray of butter as well as small jars of different types of jam for the biscuits. "Because the food is done!" He sits down, waiting for Kenji to join him at the table, a smile on his lips, hoping that Kenji like the meal he had made for him. Like before, he was so glad to be able to cook for someone, it was something he missed doing since his little brother and sister moved away.

Kenji bit his lip as if debating it in his head.

"A-alright...if you really...want too"

It was difficult to say no to him. After last night He was difficult to even look at him! He watched as the other went down stairs to cook...He quietly followed, the smell in the air made his stomach growl.. he sat in a seat as Shiru brought out the food.. it looked really good... better then the things he saw and smelled at the restaurant He worked at.

"T-thank you.."

He said starting to eat...It was like his tastebuds were in heaven!!! It was so delicious!

"It's really good...you should be a chef. "

He smiled a little.. looking down at himself and seeing he was wearing the others clothes.

"Um... w-when do you want me to give these back..."

He questioned...he tried not to borrow people's things to offend...

"You like it? I'm glad!" He smiles, resting his chin on his hands that were clasped in front of him, his elbows placed on the table, as he watches Kenji eat. He shrugs when Kenji asks when he wanted his clothes back, he was pretty much okay with Kenji keeping them. "I have too many clothes to begin with, so you can have them. While you're at school, I'm going to go through my closet and pick out some of the things I don't really wear any more, so you can have them, alright?" He smiles, and then glances up at the clock on the dining room wall. "Shit, it's almost time to go."

 

He stands up, and takes off his robe, slinging it onto the back of the chair he was sitting in. "I'll go get the car started, and when you're ready, we'll go." He leaves the room, grabbing his jacket, and slipping on a pair of shoes before going to the garage, and, like he had told Kenji, starts up the car, the engine revving, purring gently. He sighs, and once Kenji had arrived, he backs out of the garage, then leaves the drive, and in about five minutes was parked in front of the school.

 

Shiru turns to look at Kenji, and smiles. "Well, when you're ready to go, call me, and I'll take you to work after school. Check you're contacts, you'll find a little surprise..." He winks, and leans over to kiss Kenji's cheek, and then drives off, waving. "Now then...what to do?" He says, driving slowly along an empty street. He guessed he should go back to the house and sort out those clothes...

"I have too many clothes to begin with, so you can have them. While you're at school, I'm going to go through my closet and pick out some of the things I don't really wear any more, so you can have them, alright?"[/Quote]

He said as he finished eating. Shiru was too kind.

"Shit, it's almost time to go."..." I'll go get the car started, and when you're ready, we'll go."[/Quote]

Kenji nodded watching the over throw on his shoes and jacket and rushing off. He grabbed his bag and shortly followed. He slowly got into the others car, He was quiet durning the ride... He wanted to ask Shiru a question...to ask him what this was... but in no time he found himself being kissed on the cheek..out of Shiru's car and in school in no time. He heard a group of girls whispering behind him.

"He's the reason Prince got suspended! "

"That faggot! "

"I saw him coming out of Shiru's car today! Do you think Kenji forced our Prince to do it?"

 

They talked and talked. As he walked into the loud class room everyone stopped what ever they were doing to glare at Kenji as he came into the room... he went to go sit at his desk but it was gone...

A girl smirked at him tapping his shoulder.

"Looking for something?"

"Where's my desk"

"Look for it faggot"

She hissed turning away...everyone else laughed out loud or giggled at Kenji for looking like a complete dumb ass.

The teacher came in and everyone quickly quieted down, getting in there own seats.

"Mr Kenji... take your seat"

"But Mr. Shijo my desk is gone.."

The man looked and nodded.

"I see.... Head next door to see if they have an extra desk."

He sighed nodding, as he left the room.

Already I wish this day was over... Shiru...what are you doing right now?.. What are you thinking about?... Are you missing me as much as I'm missing you?

As he stepped out into the hall a bucket of mud fell right on his head, the student laughed as the teacher checked on Kenji.

"Go to the nurse's office for a change of clothes...."

He turned to the class.

"Silence! Who ever did this will be found out and punished!"

Kenji just shook it off as he pulled away from his teacher and went to the nurse's office covering in gross sticky mud.

As he was driving, it happened. A shot of pain crosses his skull, and lights flash before his eyes. "No...no, no, no!!!" He cries, his vision blurred by the pain. It was even worse than the last few times, and he struggled to drive the car straight, trying to keep from clutching at his head, which felt like it was splitting open. A final, tremendous flare of pain, and then...with a sickening crash, Shiru's car smashes into the side of a building, glass shattering and metal bending, the last thing Shiru saw before he passes out from the crash, blood trickling down the side of his face...was a person...wearing a dark robe, and a deadly looking scythe hanging from their back. The person's eyes were covered, but Shiru could see the smirk on his lips. "Soon...real soon you're going to join us..." And then, Shiru fades to black, the screaming all around dimming to nothing, the pain the only thing he could feel.

 

From the school, the people who were in classes set by the outside of the building near the front, would be able to see smoke rising from a few blocks away, and some of the students gasp as they peer down, and see that The Prince's car...was smashed right into the side of a building. It was smoking, and seconds later it explodes. Girl's scream, and teachers try to settle their students, but even they were worried. What had happened?

 

Even though the students could not see it, Shiru was already out of the car when the explosion happened, he was currently in the back of a ambulance, the paramedics trying to find out what was wrong. A mask was on Shiru's face, helping him breath, and he had bruises and cuts all along his body, and a particularly nasty cut along the right side of his forehead. They reach the hospital, and take him to the E.R., a nurse calling the school, to find out if Shiru had any friends or family they could contact, as the records they had were blank. When they had tried calling the home phone, no one had answered, and they needed SOMEONE to talk to. Even a random school mate would do.

Kenji was in the nurse's office laying down in one of the beds. The nurse had left for a few minutes leaving him alone. He had no idea his crush had been hurt in a car accident..and he'd probably be the last to know. Since no one liked him. And everyone didn't think him and Shiru were friends so all of the other kids would try and be that" friend" he so desperately needed.He heard some commotion upstairs but He didn't think anything of it... He sighed still wearing his muddy clothes.. the nurse's office had nothing that was his size so he remained in those ruined clothes...he pulled out his phone and was happy to see Shiru's number...

He thought tapping away on his phone.

Subject: hey

I miss you. Don't worry about me my day so far as been., great.

The phone in Shiru's pocket goes off, and the nurse in the room blinks when she hears it, hurrying over to where Shiru was laying on a hospital bed, still hooked up to machines to keep him from dying. So far they hadn't found anything out of the ordinary, except for the fact that Shiru was out cold, not waking up. His heart rate was weak, and his breathing was shallow. They were afraid that Shiru would die, and that's why they were so desperate to find someone to contact. The nurse pulls the cell from Shiru's pocket, and opens it, reading the message. "Doctor! I think we might have a contact!"

 

She calls the number that was set as the contact, hoping that the person would answer. Once Kenji did answer, she would speak up, and ask if he was a friend of Shiru Takagomen, and if he would be able to come to the hospital right away, since Shiru had been in a terrible accident, and was in serious condition, saying that he was most likely going to enter into a coma if he didn't get better. "Please, we can't contact his mother right now, you're the only one that has been programmed onto this phone. We have no other contacts for him. So, even if you are a student, we will allow you to come for Shiru, just tell the office that we called you." After telling Kenji the hospital that Shiru was at, the nurse hangs up, and glances over at Shiru. "I hope he'll come..." She whispers, and brushes a piece of hair out of his face.

 

While he was out of it, Shiru felt...Cold. Lost. Empty. Afraid...the burning sensation of fire surrounded him, and darkness obliterated everything that was around. He could hear nothing, the only sound was the beating of his scared heart, and his breath, which was ragged and shallow. He felt numb, but even so could feel the pain that coursed through his body, could feel the blood that trickled along his skin. Shadows and black met his eyes, and no matter how hard he tried he could see nothing. Where was he? Why did he feel like this? Wasn't he back in his car, driving to his house? If that was so, why was he here? A voice then reaches him, and he recognizes it as the voice from the man before. 'You're going to die...maybe not now...but you will...and then, you will be one of us...' The voice fades, and Shiru falls to his knees. 'Why...why...WHY?!'

Kenji flinched hearing his phone suddenly go off, ringing. He saw it was Shiru and hesitated for a moment before answering it...

"H..hello?"

When he suddenly heard a women on the phone his eyes filled with confusion, but once she explained Kenji's face turned pail.

"Please, we can't contact his mother right now, you're the only one that has been programmed onto this phone. We have no other contacts for him. So, even if you are a student, we will allow you to come for Shiru, just tell the office that we called you."[/Quote]

Kenji felt paralyzed for a moment...

Shiru..was in the hospital? He was in a car accident? The thought simply terrified him...

He left his stuff behind not carrying as he ran out of the school, and started jogging his way to the hospital. Since there was no other way to get there. He ran so hard and fast that his legs hurt... his throat burned and yearned for ice cold water...but that didn't matter... what matter was Shiru.

After an hour or two of plain out running he busted into the hospital. Panting like crazy and covered in sweat.

"S- SHIRU! ha...ha W-w ha where's...s-shiru's.. ha ha room..? T-take me... to ha..h-his room! "

He was desperately dying to see the one person who saw something in him. Saw that he want just some kid no wanted...Shiru wanted him... He loved him...right?

A nurse looks up as a boy comes bustling in the front doors of the hospital, it was the same nurse from before who had called Kenji. She guessed this was the boy on the other side of the phone, and her guess was proven correct when Kenji gasps, asking where Shiru's room was. She hurries over to him, and takes his wrist. "This way." To Kenji, the woman would look quite young, maybe in her late teens, early twenties. She had a kind face, and was very petite. As they hurried to the ICU, she explains what has gone on so far.

 

"We were called for a car crash, apparently some car lost control and collided into the side of a building, the whole front end actually breaking through the building's wall. We got there just in time, moments before the car caught on fire and exploded, but he was already unconscious by that point. We've tried everything we can to get him to stabilize, but nothing is working. Right now we have him set up with machines to help him breath and keep his heart rate normal, but if this goes on any longer we fear he might go into a coma, or worse, die."

 

They reach the room, and the nurse opens the door. "Here he is. Oh, and you can call me Sky. If you need anything, just press the button at the side of the bed..." She then closes the door behind Kenji, and hurries off again, having to tell the doctor that the one called Kenji had arrived and was now with Shiru.

 

Back in the room, Shiru was in bad shape. He had scrapes, cuts and bruises all over, and was hooked up to several machines. He was oblivious to the fact that Kenji had arrived, all he could feel was that everlasting pain, and the darkness that surrounded him. Fear...that's what he felt. He wanted to get away from it...But no matter how hard he tried, he could not escape it.

Kenji listened to Sky. Why was this happening? And why to Shiru who was so nice to him..

Kenji couldn't even hear the women...He slowly walked over to Shiru's side.. sitting on the edge of the bed...He gently took the others hand holding it. As tears fell from his eyes like never ending rain.

"W..why...why you.."

His voice cracked.

"I..it's my fault... my fault"

If Kenji stood up for himself and fought Craig on his own...Shiru wouldn't have gotten suspend and he would of stayed at school rather then getting into the car accident. Kenji felt awful.

"P...please be ok...your ok... your ok..r-right. "

He put his free hand on his face covering it and sobbing.

He couldn't lose Shiru...he was everything to him now...whatever there relationship was.

As Shiru knelt in the darkness, his body shaking from the pain, his head bowed as if he were praying. The sound of the steady dripping of his blood to the ground before fills his ears, and the ragged sound of his breath. He still could not see a single thing, and he was starting to lose his mind...He felt that if he stayed here too long, he would lose himself completely to the insanity that was clawing at the inside of his skull. He so desperately wanted to wake up, to leave this nightmare. But he could not wake up himself...

 

And then...something wet drips onto his cheek. It was cold, unlike the warm blood that oozed from his wounds. Another wet drop joins the second, and then more and more. It seemed like it was...raining? He looks up, and, what he thought was rain, falls on to his face, washing away the blood staining his face. A tiny light was in the distance, and he squints his eyes. What was that? Raising his hand, he reaches towards it, wondering what it was., but then a rack of pain begins to make him convulse, falling to the ground, his eyes rolling into the back of his head. His whole body shook, as if he was having a seizure. The pain was more intense than ever before, and he could see red flashing before his eyes.

 

Meanwhile, in the real world, the machines were going haywire. An alarm goes off, and doctors rush in, followed by Sky and a few other nurses. Sky takes Kenji's hand and pulls him back away from Shiru's body, a worried look in her eyes. She places her hand on his shoulder, and looks at him, concern etched across her face. The doctors hurried to stabilize him, but nothing was working. "We're losing him!!!" A doctor calls, as they use a defibrillator to try and get Shiru's stopped heart to beat again.

 

'Time to come with us...unless you want to see your friends and family die?' The voice calls, chuckling slightly. 'Wha...who are you? Where are you? What do you want with me?' Shiru calls, grimacing through the pain, but struggling to his feet. 'SHOW YOURSELF!' He bellows, and a light suddenly flashes in front of him, causing him to hiss at the sudden brightness, and hide his face behind his arm. When he could stand it, he squints into the light, and it was the man from before...the man in a robe, and a scythe... 'What do you want?' Shiru calls, lowering his arm. 'I want you to join us...if you don't, you're friends and family will all die.' Shiru bites his lip. 'And what is it that I must become?' A pause. 'You must become...a reaper...' Shiru stares down at his feet. 'Fine.' One last blast of pain, and Shiru was passed out.

 

Over and over they try to keep Shiru with them, until they finally got his heart beating steady...until the line goes flat. A long silence, and then Sky gasps with disbelief. "No..." She whispers, and turns away, hiding her face. The doctor sighs, and then looks over at Kenji. "He's gone..." He says, before picking up a clipboard and a pen, before glancing at his watch, and writes something down. "Time of death: 3:00 pm, date of death... May 17th." He looks at Shiru's face. He then looks up at Kenji. "Today was his birthday...did you know that?" He then leaves the room, so that Kenji was the only one in the room with Shiru.

Shiru stood hearing the machines go off. And jumped as the doctors and Sky came.

"W-What'd going on!"

He asked Sky as he pulled him away from Shiru's body.

"Sky? Sky! What are they doing! What's happening! "

He begged The girl to fill him in...

Kenji turned to the doctors.

"No.. no!"

He went to return to Shiru's side but Sky held him back..and when the line suddenly went flat Kenji's froze...His heart so numb...This wasn't happening. This wasn't really happening! Shiru can't die! He just can't.

He's gone..." .... "Time of death: 3:00 pm, date of death... May 17th." ... "Today was his birthday...did you know that?"[/Quote]

Kenji stared at the doctor. Writing things down.. it was like the man had done this multiple times and he didn't care in the slightest. And WHY? WHY THE FUCK WOULD A DOCTOR SAY THAT?!

"Today was his birthday...did you know that?"[/Quote]

No! No he didn't know! Tears built up in his eyes.

"Stop it! Your a fucking doctor aren't you! Save him! Doctor's are suppose to save people!!! "

Kenji yelled... but they had left... every one had left. Why did this always happen? Why was he always alone?

 

"Why Shiru! Why! .. now there's no one! No one that see me... no one that cares. Why did you Leave me!"

He sobbed moving over to Shiru's body and crying over him...

 

A flash back suddenly came to Kenji... back in the orphanage. He was about 7 back then. When he realized that he was destined to be alone.

"Kenji your so wired! No body likes you. Your never going to get a mommy and a daddy. "

A few kids teased him.

"Your forever alone Kenji!"

 

Kenji was silent now... tears till falling but... no sounds were uttered. He closed his eyes.

Forever....Alone...

He thought... in the end it was much better to be alone... because you never ever got hurt... and he was hurt. His heart had shattered into millions of pieces. He had no purpose. No one that saw anything remotely amazing in him other then Shiru and He was gone.

"... its not fair... your so...not fair Shiru..."

 

He had spend a few hours with Shiru's dead body before The doctors took him away... by then... Kenji expression had become hollow and cold... filled with extreme loneliness and sadness. He was no longer crying. He had no more water in him to make tears anymore. He watched as Shiru's body disappeared behind the double doors... if he could have one wish... he'd wish that Shiru would have never met him... and then... he'd Still be alive... just maybe.

 

Kenji had stumbled out of the hospital... and what would you know... it was raining. Perhaps this was a sign Shiru was weeping too. There was no way Kenji could go to the funeral...he wouldn't be welcomed, that And his heart wouldn't be able to take it...

".. t-that liar.."

Recalling the things Shiru had promised him... and now... they'd never come true. Naturally Kenji skipped work and walked in the rain... he wasn't going home... he was wondering around. He had nothing better to do...

Shiru was gone and when he left He took everything from Kenji...

 

The hard rain falling on him and leaving him completely soaked and wet..
